Decent app with a drawback.

The app works as advertised. Free floating window, no YouTube ads, and play on a locked screen. I dig it. Navigating is ok, I usually look at my stream on YouTube and paste the link in this app. No issues there, would be cool if I could have my own stream of suggested vids in the app but I know that’s not possible. My my biggest gripe with this app is the embedded ads. There’s nothing like buying an app that is supposed to get rid of ads and then looking at a banner ad right in the middle of the ui, it’s not ok. You got my payment, why do you need to make more money off of me? Irritating. Hope that goes away in your next update.

Better than official app

Love this app, it allows me to listen to podcasts without needlessly draining the battery keeping the screen on, as well as while using other apps.

Nice but!!

It is a nice app but it needs some improvement. Adding some features like “playlist” “history” and “watch on TV” will make it perfect.

Fuctionality

The app can’t display full screen on my iPad Pro 5. The screen display only about 10.5” max. In the app the only functions are home button, video upload date selection, and search bar. It will be helpful is history is stored.

Meh

I feel like I just wasted 1.99. It does as advertised have no ads however the UI is so hideous. I could not take it. It also took about 5 seconds to load the app while on wifi, so I can only imagine how bad it would be not on wifi.

⚠️This app contain embedded “Ads”, “Video Ads” & “Install app Ads”. Note; Ads always appear near the Upload date. Install app Ads appear once a video. Video ads appear once a video done playing an standby. ⚠️ No option to change Resolution.

Not bad

It’s not bad app, but you can’t change quality of videos for instance i wanna be 144p but u cant?! Why?! And the style is very simple i kinda love it :)

Glitching music every time

Every time I open a new app or switch between apps the music I’m playing through FyTube glitches therefore defeating and ruining the purpose of “continuous play” I want a refund

Good but needs improvement

I got this for the proper floating mode and no ads, and for that it works great. However the search functionality needs much improvement. There needs to be a way to share from YouTube considering most users will likely start in YouTube. Sometimes I can use “copy link” from YouTube and then paste to FyTube but I find that only works sometimes. Then I have to go back to YouTube and get the title of the video and try typing that into the search field and hopefully I get lucky but mostly still it does not find the video. Something is not right with the search function.

Worse than a browser

The app often freezes if you touch the screen. There are three dot menus available for each video, but nothing happens when you touch them. I spent an hour trying to find a full video uploaded to YouTube, any full video, and was only presented with clips. there appears to be no way to find a YouTube channel of any kind. There are no settings for the app to be found either in the app or in the iPhone settings. I’m uninstalling and asking for a refund.

There ARE ads

Does this app prevent in-video YouTube ads? I wouldn’t know, because this app which claims “no ads!” right in the app name title had a crappy TikTok banner ad plastered at the top of my screen immediately when loading up the browser. I closed and deleted it immediately. There ARE ads. The only difference is that the revenue goes to this developer—an indefensible practice when the whole point of your app is to block ads from the original video creators… which is honestly something I’m totally okay with doing because ads are a plague, just don’t try and use that as an excuse as if this developer “deserves” the revenue themselves, because they don’t. This app is a joke, and so are the astroturfed reviews. This app developer is scummy and deceitful. They’ll tell you to read the full description as if “no ads!” has some deeper meaning they can fine-print away into something else. Download the Brave browser and enjoy an ACTUAL ad-free experience.

I expected more

For $20 I was expecting a lot more. Lacks a lot of features like you can’t link your own YouTube account to see playlist, you cant see who or what you are following on youtube, and No shorts. It is great if you want to watch a long video or a DJ mix but you still have to use the search function even find the video.

Your software is great, but it needs to be more comprehensive to support a variety of devices.

I hope it can be adapted to IpadOS as soon as possible, can not be displayed in full screen looks really too uncomfortable. For example, if I watch a series of videos, I hope that I can display the full list of the series so that I can choose the first few episodes to watch, just like Youtube, instead of having to search again every time and then slide up one by one to determine which episode I see and then find which one is the next one I watch, which is very troublesome. I hope these functions can be improved as soon as possible, so that the user's viewing experience will be greatly improved. I hope to get your reply and support, thanks!

Lives up to its name!

This app is truly impressive, it has no ads and plays the same videos that youtube has and works well without wifi! l. It even plays live streams as well which is really cool! I could play videos while using another app, which is something i’ve always wanted do without having to pay for a subscription. I will definitely be using this app a lot more!
