Gather 'Round Homeschool

I stumbled upon Gather ‘Round last Spring and it was an instant connect for me. Having a solid and beautiful platform from which to spread wings and fly into God’s amazing world is JUST. SO. FREEING. I had 5 kids in six years including a special needs son and twins. I always wanted to homeschool and tried and failed 2 times prior. Enter Covid + Gather ‘Round and I had the perfect shove I needed to try again. I’m 60 school days in and it’s A BLAST. Try the free samples, and see if the beauty and efficiency don’t arrest your attention! Stick around and make it your own. An older, wiser homeschooling mom gave me this golden treasure, and I’ll pass it on here: don’t serve a curriculum. It’s meant to serve you. Adapt it to your style, each child, your season. I downloaded this app thinking it was all in the app but its homeschool curriculum support and they have a website full of so many subjects for homeschooling. I’m so happy to have found this. Thank you for whoever is writing this with a Biblical Worldview. It makes my mamma heart so happy knowing I don’t have to create all of the things I wanted to teach my kids on my own. I’ve been wanting to find a beautiful, well taught, Biblical curriculum. I was going to buy good and beautiful and then I realized it doesn’t actually teach the Bible. This curriculum seems so much more rich and there is Bible throughout it all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Keep up! Im excited for my kids to start prek&kinder this year using this curriculum. Im also so happy to see the unit on Pentecost! Amazing. Thank you!

This is app is really great. You can tell the thought and heart that went into it. I am so surprised at how well it’s made and easy to use it is. You would think the app was the at least the tenth attempt at getting it right and not the very first time launching an beautifully designed, interactive and interfaced application. Wonderful! The curriculum is really a wonderful idea. I tried the digital bundle for the American birds unit for pre-reader and I have to say how almost all subjects are weaved in one reading is genius. Plus the fact that it’s beautifully designed and engaging for all. My pre-reader was really into and couldn’t stop talking about what he learned. Kudos to Rebecca and her team for putting thought to action. It’s paid off 😊 I thank God because I stumbled upon gather ‘round homeschool at just the right moment 🙏🏼

I’ve followed Rebecca for years. We are mommas that are homeschooling similar ages and wanting the same for our homes; simplicity, peace, joy, and Jesus. In the past she has led me to good curriculum for my kids, but Gather ‘Round is above and beyond that. My family, including my husband love this curriculum. We love learning, we love doing it together. I am naturally minimalist in my homeschool approach. I’ve never wanted tons of stuff which seems odd in the homeschool world. But this makes me feel like someone gets me. No more stacks of books for each kid. **freedom!** Rebecca is always thinking of ways to be better, to give her kids and her life something better, to grow in her relationship with God, and she shares that with anyone that also wants that. My son is the reason I’ve decided to homeschool, in traditional school he was in fight or flight mode and we couldn’t snap him out of it. Since the short period of time using Gather Round Homeschool curriculum, He has gone from defiant and reluctant to willing and eager to see what he can learn next. School for my two young children has gone from an obligation, to a world of wonder and fun of learning, for me too! I absolutely LOVE learning right along side them! Thank you Rebecca for following this God given path, you have created something that is exactly what my son needed, keeping God in everything and we all are enjoying it! I was hesitant to get this app due to the fact that I was already apart of the Facebook group, I mean how different can it be right? Well I have to say after having the tug at my heart to financially support this app and following through I downloaded the free app. It is really beyond what I imagined. It’s beautiful, engaging and has so much to offer for basically every family. I’m excited to continue to grow in community and knowledge as I use this app!! We are truly blessed to have come across this curriculum! It flows so nicely with our lifestyle and the amount of time we have to do school during the day. We run a business out of our home and at a separate location, and I am currently 22 weeks pregnant with our third. If you live a busy lifestyle and can’t find the time to prep EVERYTHING like some other curriculums require, you’ll fall in love with this one! Not to mention how pleasing it is to the eye which helps to draw you and your children in. If you’re on the fence, give the freebies a try! The app is vibrant, easy to use and a great accompaniment to the curriculum!

This is absolutely everything we have been looking for! Gather Round has been a God-send, an absolute blessing for our family. I love the concept that we can “gather ‘round” and learn together, yet each of my children can work at their own individual levels. The artwork is absolutely stunning, along with the organized layout of each unit which incorporates various subjects, and includes Bible/scripture. The Gatherround family has been a blessing to our family from the very start of our homeschool journey! The very first unit we did was North American Birds, (that was 3ish years ago) and my kids and I and even my husband still try to identify birds. It really started a hobby in us to bird watch. They continue to be an inspiration and a blessing for us as we homeschool, not only through their excellent curriculum, but also through their faithfulness to God. I’m so grateful to have found them and to still be using their units over three years later!

Gather ‘Round curriculum has literally saved our homeschool! We have been floundering like fish for three plus years...as a mom of five with four homeschooling ages 6-13 it’s been hectic to say the least and we have finally come together for the Oceans, Space and Europe unit studies these past few months. I was so encouraged that I purchased the remainder of year one! Rebecca has a heart for Jesus and her obedience to God is one of the main reasons I was so inclined to try this curriculum out. I struggled to find curriculum that my daughter loves. We found Gather ‘round mid-year through Abeka and it couldn’t have happened at a better time! I tried the sample of Europe with her and she wanted to do more. We were going to finish out the year of Abeka but after downloading the available units for Gather ‘round, we left Abeka. No more tears from her and she actually loves doing the assignments. Thank you, Rebecca for creating this curriculum and this app! The app is organized and easy to use. I love Rebecca and all that she represents. We are a secular family and I still love the way she speaks. This app supports homeschoolers using Gather ‘Round Homeschool. The answer to so many prayers, this curriculum is complete, well thought out, stunning and works for everyone. Whether you are homeschooling one child or 10 this fits the bill. Beautifully laid out unit studies with stunning watercolor illustrations is all you need to motivate your children and encourage the love of learning. The app continues in the same vein and looks amazing and is easy to navigate. I can’t wait to see all the additional content and support this app will provide.

This app is a huge help in navigating the questions, ideas, and unit support we may need while using GR. I love the easy to find “groups” related to what I’m looking for, i.e. resource ideas and internet links for a unit. I’m also excited that this app was designed for community and we are able to connect with other GR families and encourage each other right here. Beautifully done once again!

I was so excited when I heard that Gather ‘Round Homeschool was getting an app! This curriculum came into play right after I had a brain tumor removed, and I was having a difficult time keeping up with tons of different curriculums to cover all of the subjects. My kids were struggling to invest in book work, so I was so happy to find a more “Charlotte Mason”-ish curriculum that kept my kids excited to learn and work together!

I am loving this app so much! It is very easy to use, operates smoothly, and the graphics are just gorgeous! This curriculum has been an awesome {and needed} change for our family. I believe in the vision of Gather ‘Round and can sense the dedication to quality in everything they produce. This app follows that same pattern. I’m so impressed. Wow, just wow. If it wasn’t enough to create a curriculum out of what seams like thin air but it’s incredibly easy, colorful, and best of all engaging, Rebecca went and created an app for us all to meet and continue to help one another! I can’t even say enough good about this app or curriculum. Enjoy the uniqueness and individuality of this group. It truly is a treasure and something for everyone.

I live Gather Round homeschool curriculm! I have 3 young kids I can teach together around a table and it has been amazing. We learn together and there’s no more fighting or pulling me in 20 different directions. The app is wonderfully thought out and smooth. I can access what I need without getting distracted scrolling through Facebook, and nothing ever gets lost due to algorithms.

GRH is such a game changer for people who want to do unit studies with all age ranges but don’t have time to write their own study. And adding in this app students can follow along with groups that are studying the exact same thing at the same time. Parents can share tips and tricks! It’s going to be awesome! As a newbie, this app is super helpful and very well laid out {not to mention just plain beautiful to look at}... I'm excited to come to the app and just visit the groups that I’ve decided to be in within the app to get and share ideas and inspiration! Our family loves this curriculum, but the community is what really brings it home for us! The energy and creativity that comes from the collaboration between the creator and families using Gather Round is simply amazing. Our homeschool is thriving and I’m so grateful to have access to this community through an app!!!

This is like a breathe of fresh air. It feels like a relief. One less thing to demand my time on social media, and the ability to be more intentionally connected to the topics I want & need. So happy to have an app that connects right to all of the updates on Gather Round as they come out. This curriculum gave me the courage to say yes to teaching our 4 boys. I love that we will be going through these units together as a family! We do everything else in life together, why not school?

So far loving the app. Overall seems very well thought out and organized, love the graphics! I think it would be cool though if you purchase digital copies of units you could pull up the files right from the app.

This is a beautifully designed app that houses a wonderful place to find encouragement, support, and great ideas. From organizing your school year to diy printing/binding ideas to prayer requests, this has it all. There really is a group for everyone, even Dads! We love using Gather Round on our homeschooling journey. It has been such a blessing while schooling four different ages/levels. This app is exactly what I needed to organize all the unit resources as well as connect with others working on the same units.

I love this sense of community without having to be on social media. All the resources are easily accessible and so convenient to have right from your device. Love that the kids have a designated space to chat and interact with other homeschoolers.
