My email was used with a different phone number, not sure if it was connected to the application but somehow it seems the application is maintained by someone different than the government site. I could be wrong but some security issues may be apparent
It is highly difficult to apply for a grant - I’ve been inquiring for help for months now with no reply - why is this it so hard ? Can someone answer this question??? This is frustrating and confusing as a small business owner to apply for 1 GRANT .. UNBELIEVABLE
I just downloaded this app 01-08; I try to login and it just sits there! I go back to the main screen and try to do a quick search, all of a sudden the app kicks back to the main screen and then closes out completely. Not happy at all!!
i feel like if your gonna have an app like this and make it to where it’s easy for grant writer beginners like myself……… then you probably should make sure it works. because it could have been really really REALLY useful for me!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡🙄🙄
I agree, I have tried to apply for a grant through this app and it’s so difficult and frustrating that eventually I gave up. What is the purpose of this if you can’t access a grant and there is no help to do it correctly?
This could be malware to collect usernames and passwords. Issues accepting know password. Did not see any permission options when I examined apps in the setting app which is another red flag. APPLE CHECK THiS PROGRAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even though this may be a good app, there is no way to contact anyone for help with this app. So then you’re forced to either find another way to sign in or even to sign up, this app is open information, but it still needs to be worked on and fixed it to where it is easier for everybody to use it. right now, this app is not ready for a budget because you have trouble signing in and if you have trouble forgetting your password, there’s no budget contact no support. No nothing in this very very sad. maybe if you added support and way to contact you when you’re by email or some other way and you may find it you might have people that want to use this app more often.
My login information doesn’t work on the app. I tried every single way. When I log in on the website I first have to sign in through login.gov link but the app doesn’t give me the option. It’s really pointless downloading it because you may look up grants but you can’t do anything else using this app.
I went straight from the website to download this app and I couldn’t even get in with my username or the email address that I signed up and I just recently changed the password but I can get on the website through the Internet just not the app.
I have been unable to login. I enter my (correct) username and password that I login on the desktop with and the app just sits there like I entered no login information. I contacted technical support, and they continuously give me the run around and are no support at all. Apple should revoke their dev license
I have no idea how this app is since I can’t actually login. I put in my username and password, hit “log in” and nothing happens. It just sits there regardless of how many times I hit it. It doesn’t tell me I did anything wrong or start loading, it just stays exactly the same. Make the app pretty useless.
Though I deleted the Grants.gov app off my iPhone 8 and then reinstalled it, the app remains a complete failure for those of us who are blind. As best as I can tell, the entire user interface (landing page) is devoid of ANY text labels. I can only guess that this app relies upon single-finger taps & hovering to open menus, options, and links. I am unable to use any facet of this app on my iPhone 8 (latest software version) with VoiceOver turned on.
Does what it says it’ll do. If you have a Grants.gov account, it’s easy to search & save them for later. Would be nice if you could create an account through the app though.
The official Grants.gov app offers the most convenient way for grant pros to manage their Grants.gov workflow when away from the desk – including searching for grants, creating and managing saved searches, submitting completed applications (requires Grants.gov Submit privileges), and much more. Within the Grants.gov app, users may do the following*: SEARCH, SUBSCRIBE & SHARE • Search for federal grants by keyword, CFDA number, and agency • Browse grant forecasts and opportunities from federal agencies • Review eligibility requirements for each funding opportunity • Filter searches and sort results • Create, view and edit saved searches (login required) • Subscribe to specific funding opportunities and get notified about changes made by the grant-making agency (login required) • Add closing dates for packages to your phone’s calendar app • Quickly share an opportunity URL in a message or social media post SUBMISSIONS • Sign and Submit completed applications within the app (Grants.gov Submit privileges are required) • Access your application submission history (login required) TRACKING, NOTIFICATIONS & MORE • Enter a Grants.gov Tracking Number for a status update on your submission • Receive and manage push notifications from your Grants.gov account (login required) • Get quick access to Grants.gov’s Community Blog, Twitter and YouTube channels *Note: A Grants.gov account is required to use some features within the mobile app
