The new update to the app has rendered it useless, I can’t see the deals available without logging in at least twice every time I need to check deals or coupons. It also appears to have cleared any points I built up in the years I’ve had my Harmons account. It is helpful that people can shop on the app but it ruined any other usage outside of using the online shopping feature.
as an employee here i have to say the new app update is terrible. the new UI is confusing to operate and is not user friendly for new or even existing users of the app. the thing about the old app layout was it's simplicity, you don't need to go above and beyond for an app and if you are adding to many options to your UI then it doesn't matter how well you organize it, it will be overwhelming and irritating to navigate for users. unfortunately with this new fancy, over the top formatting as well as my own work experience and knowing the companies goals and values, this is 100 percent another contribution that shows the companies growing distance between actual being a neighborhood grocery store, and being a greedy, corporate run front using narratives of family values and teamwork to make more and more profits to pocket. as the years go on almost everything about the harmons company decreases in quality and it truly is sad to see how money hungry this once caring company has really become.
Literally the only reason I use this app is to check on my prescriptions and now they've completely removed the pharmacy part of the app: it's only available via in-app browser, and requires an additional login. Way to make me work for my medication, guys!
Terrible terrible update. Where are my Foodie Club points? Where are my Fuel Rewards points? Having a centralized spot to see all those as well as being able to e-Shop was key to a positive experience for me. Now I have to search for it; then it opens a Safari window, formatting is poopy. You’ve taken a useful app and rendered it almost complex unusable.
This app used to be good and streamlined and had a nice interface to pull up your foodie club card your coupons and your punch clubs and this update ruined that and now there is load time between each task and it opens up immediately into their online store and makes it super difficult to do anything else
The Harmon’s App, once a frequently utilized tool, has undergone a significant decline in usability. The primary features that once drew me to the app, such as prescription refills and tracking of Foodie Club rewards, have been rendered more challenging to access. This unfortunate app update has left a sour taste in my mouth, prompting me to explore alternative grocery shopping options.
I have been a shopper at Harmons for a very long time and over the last several years, have tried to use the app effectively however it tends to be more frustrating than helpful. Many times there is an error message when trying to log in and there is no recourse to fix it. I was in the store today hoping to get my freebies I’ve earned but couldn’t log in (even online) to view my account. It would also be nice to view past order as well as look up in the app the prices and quantities available of products in the store before heading there. I’ve also had problems with it keeping the location of the store closest to me. It’s not fun to select that over and over each time I do a drive up option. It would be nice if it just remembered my favorite store.
You have to login every time you want to see your foodie card rewards. Why? There is no option to remember me, not even my user name! Extremely inconvenient. I also notice there is no contact information, so the developers aren’t interested in any feedback.
The update to the app is a failure. You have to update your password and after doing so. The next time you pull up the app it wants you to log in again only the app doesn’t recognize your new password. Really bad.
Slow, not intuitive, my phone gets HOT, frustrated!
A friend recommended I switch from Smiths delivery to Harmons and I can’t figure out why, the app is miserable! I spent two hours working on my order which was very slow and buggy and by the end I couldn’t make the purchase anyways because my account had an old phone number and for some reason the system recognizes my current number…ok, well don’t stop the purchase, merge the accounts! Even when service agents say they’ll fix it, they don’t. I’m onto my second purchase with same exact issue. What is interesting is both times I was blocked in the app from scheduling delivery (it just wouldn’t work) and how often I have to keep entering my password throughout the app. It’s just a miserable experience! Use all that money you charge on expensive groceries to hire excellent UX and Engineers! I gave your delivery service a try and had to pick up both times. You app makes my phone HOT, literally! That is worrisome! I won’t try again.
I got the app for the pharmacy feature so that I can view my prescriptions and get refills. The list of prescriptions is really long because it show expired prescriptions, even ones that expired months ago. I have to scroll to the bottom of the list to get to my current prescriptions. I submitted a suggestion to allow me to hide deleted prescriptions, but never got any reply.
I have been a regular shopper but the app is more difficult to use. I fail to complete my order most of the time. It takes forever. I want to pick up at Brickyard but it keeps switching to 7th Street. In the years I have used this I have never been able to link my foodie card. I’m about to give up on a large order tonight because I have to wait for searched items to load. I prefer Harmons & don’t mind the prices being a bit higher - shopping local is important to me. The flaws in this app are making it untenable to use. In fact, I give up.
Login is required to use an app. As a customer I want this app to allow me to check in an item where it is in the store, but if you are not logged in you can not use it. I registered an account associated with my phone number few years ago. I can not remember which email I registered with. I tried every emails I have for “forget password”, all said email not registered. Then I tried to create a new account, but it requires to put my phone number, and it says my phone number is registered. Now I can not use the app cuz I don’t have an account, and I can not register account cuz my phone is registered with an account few years ago I forgot which email it was registered with. And I can not use phone number to login. Completely stupid.
I would give this app a zero if I could. Moving to St. George so got Harmon’s app and Smith’s app. Smiths is slick and easy to use. Harmons I cannot even create account without app closing and losing all signup data. Phone number you need to actually physically move cursor from area cod to 3 digits to 4 digits. Then each move takes you to alphabet instead of numbers!!! No auto- capitalization. And three times I fill out all data and then choosing state from rolling menu closes app and loses all data. Yikes. I cannot believe they would release an app this bad!!!!
My fuel points don’t get added to my account any longer, the app has never shown the expiration date for my fuel points when it did actually give me credit... I have contacted two different store personnel for assistance, minimal help at best. But there is one thing on my account that is working overtime- when it’s time to remove my expired fuel points they are gone like that!! Tired of the games, love the stores and the majority of the people that work there but it’s not worth the frustration any longer. 👋🏻 Harmons.
I love using the app! I do not have to use my physical card and the cashier can just scan the barcode on my phone, this has been absolutely wonderful for shopping in your store. I can’t wait to see what else you have in store for us!
At least I can find Foodie Club rewards easier than through the website (almost impossible), but why doesn’t the card work with Apple wallet? Coupons are very difficult to read and identify on a phone. List of stores, but no list of fuel centers - how am I supposed to use these points since no nearby stores offer this? This could be much better!
I would like to see my purchase history and understand how I earned my points. It was also confusing to sign up since got a card in the store. The app wouldn’t accept my card number. I tried to give feedback in the app but the survey link says the survey is no longer active.
It would be very helpful if the option to add your foodie club card to Apple wallet was available in the app and also with voiceover running on my iPhone. It says my prescription list is empty even though there’s prescriptions in it.
I just downloaded the app and took a few minutes to scroll through all the coupons. I added a few to my list, but when I went to “my coupons” it had selected several that I didn’t click on, and didn’t save all the ones I chose. Not sure I’ll use it if this isn’t fixed.
1. Text is too small to read on my iPhone, especially on ‘View All Coupons & Freebies’ 2. Old prescriptions never clear out of the list. If a prescription is expired, it should not be on the same screen. It’s confusing when trying to refill scrips.
I appreciate how easy it is to manage and view my freebies, gas discount, punch club and coupons. Makes seeing where I am with all of them a super quick and easy!!
You would think with apps like smiths and Walmart they would create an app the allows you to put in a grocery pick up order. Instead it takes you to a link in your browser to do so. Although it lets you add coupons to your foodie card which is something I guess. My question is when did they create this app 1999?
I already have a foodie card but don’t haven’t used the app before. So when I tried to create an account it wouldn’t let me because the phone number is already used… so I tried to reset my password but it just takes me to another page that wants me to log in. Seems like its a big that needs fixed.
I have been trying all morning to do an online order, and every time I get to checkout the buffering circle just spins and spins and I’ve tried like 5 times and it happens every time and I have to change the pick up time every time so there’s no point I might as well go in and not do the online order. Absolutely stupid!
App stinks!! Won’t let me log on I’ve tried resetting password still won’t work, I also tried changing my email still nothing. All I get is invalid email or password when I know for a fact it’s the right email and password. I guess I’ll keep using the web sight. Please fix this glitch!!! It looks like it’s that same problem everyone is having by reading the other reviews.
I was told there would be daily deals on lunch items
I made a salad at the lunch assembly area and when I checked out he said there was a special on salads and that it was $2 cheaper per pound if you had the foodie card. I got stoked and went ahead and got it. I can’t figure out what the deals are. It just looks like a bunch of coupons?? Can someone help me out.
My bad for not reading the description before getting the app. It’s kind of cool that you have access to coupons and the foodie card, but it’d be nice to be able to make a shopping list, apply coupons, place a pick up order, etc. There’s really no reason to use the app, imo.
Best store by far in our area! St George store is excellent value and quality products! Never a bad purchase!fresh vegetables and quality people working there!
There is no way to change the store location once it’s set up. So if you move and want to use the app, it’s completely useless. Please change this flaw. Most people don’t remain in the same house from birth until death. Unless this is fixed, Harmon’s will eventually lose all their online customers, simply by default.
Years…it’s been years and Harmons still cannot find it within themselves to hire adequate app developers to create an app that actually bloody works!!!!!! I have not been able to login for YEARS!!! I literally just created a new account and guess what…I still can’t bloody login. Every. single. time…for years!!! So useless.
Crashes every time I try to open the app. Tried updating, uninstalling and reinstalling, and same story every time. I try to open the app, and it crashes immediately. Haven’t been able to use the app for weeks now. So frustrating. Having eShop and prescription refill was great when they worked.
Doesn’t show my foodie points and now I can’t refill my prescriptions because it doesn’t show them. It was already annoying that you can’t do an online order from the app. Now it doesn’t do much of anything.
We use it to order prescriptions, check free food status, eshop—all features. It works great. As with any app that’s new to me, there is a slight learning curve.
I got this app because I love Harmon’s but like everything else tech wise with Harmon’s it’s crap. I’ve never made a Harmon account before and it still says invalid every time I try to create an account. I tried resetting the password but no record of me email. I’ve tried the email accounts with the same result. I love your groceries but you tech is garbage.
Coupons are hard to utilize and the pictures are so small. Instead of scrolling through all coupons I wish there was a search for the categories like grocery and household items.
I’m so excited there is a Harmon’s App now! I only would request that the ads be on the app too. I just uploaded a bunch of coupons using the app and it was so much easier!
I think this is a good start with the foodie club and coupons. I wish I could also make a shopping list directly on the app that would link the prices for my store and any related coupons. Not sure I’ll use the app otherwise.
Not really an app but a link to a website. After I created my account in the app and set up my store location, when I started to shop it linked me out to a browser and asked me to select a store to shop at. Hard to use and then they want to charge for grocery pick up.
The app was fine for a little bit but recently started to have all sorts of problems can’t even log into the app to see fuel rewards or anything. I can log on fine on the website so I know it’s an app issue.
Slow, but they usually can’t shop or deliver anyway. App many times doesn’t have what it advertises. It’s unorganized and confusing. I’ll bet people just give up. Unfortunately, I’m home bound after a back injury and subsequent surgeries, I need food
Won’t even let me sign in with the email and password I set up. I get emails just fine to my account for Harmon’s so I know that’s correct and even when I change my password, just in case, it still does not work. It just tells me it’s an invalid email/invalid password.
This app is unusable. It took way too long to create an account, and then once I did, I couldn’t log in. Then I click on “Forgot Password” and it logs me in instead. Then, I can’t search anything and the page/app crashes.
