The app does not have multiple user profiles option

The app is good, my only complaint about this app is that unlike other streaming apps it doesn’t have multiple user profile options. Using multiple user option would enable multiple people to watch their movies without any inconvenience

Apple TV error

Hi Apple TV is showing the following error from last 2 days. When ever trying to play any content this error shows. “Cannot read property ‘subdivisions’ of null / Cancel or Retry. Cancel or Retry don’t help. I uninstalled the app installed again but the error remains.

Nice app for Bengali entertainment

As very few OTT is available in Bangladesh, Hoichoi is really good app for Bengali entertainment. Need some more Bangladeshi content. Sometimes items are not available ( like I tried Posto a few days ago and it was unavailable) . These titles should be removed so viewers wouldn’t have any confusion. I liked the app .

Not upto the mark.

I subscribed this app from apple store on 27th of april 2018. Initially it was working fine but suddenly stopped working when i emailed the hoi choi they said i don’t have any valid subscription. But then i had an active subscription going. I contacted apple app store they confirmed that my subscription is valid. After discussing with apple app store Advisor they suggested to cancel the subscription for this app and refunded the subscription amount. This is not surely upto the mark i hope others will not face this issue!!! These guys don’t deserve even a star!!!

Liked this app!

This app has some really good content. Appreciate for that. Need fix: App performance should be improved. Last few days I am getting “no response received” modal message while watching the show. Hopefully developers will take a look and fix it

But one complain most of the series are not getting completed like Halud Pakhi, Paap, Kamini etc

Hoicoi is the trusted OTT platform and the app is quite good!!

The App is usually as same as other OTT platforms. If developers add a features like screen lock will be great for users. Need more content in regular basis.

Too expensive in United States

$9.99 /month (and even the subsidized yearly rate of ~$50) for a regional language platform is extremely high price for United States. If owners are interested to increase United States subscription they need to lower price or bring more value (maybe bundle another platform at this rate).

BUGGY APP!! concurrent stream limit exceeded

“It seems you are playing video on multiple device at the same time” Getting this error even when I am using only one device. The app needs deactivated improvement. Also there is very limited support. So when app is not working it means it will not work now, please come back later. 👎🏻

I love the web series but we need more latest movies in hoichoi, because staying out of Bengal I am not able to see the so popular movies released. Please take initiative to upload latest movies.

Hello. Is it possible to make version of your software for Samsung Tizen operating system? I have a Samsung UHD tv but Samsung app store doesn’t have this app. It will be great for people like me who has this kind of TV and loves Hoichoi. Plz think about it.

Deteriorating service

Same type of storylines, long long waits for new releases, hardly any of the newer movies released for streaming, less unique, poignant content. It’s making me question whether I should continue this membership.

Needs improvement

Hi I like the content but you guys need to improve the app experience. I can watch 1080 pixels in mobile devices but as soon as I cast to a smart Tv the quality degrades. Unfortunately the watching experience of good content become a poor experience!

Great Bengali movie and web series app

This is the best Bengali video streaming app out there. Great collection of new and old movies , tv shows as well as web series at a very affordable subscription rate.

Worst service , rubbish app

i'v subscribed 7 device with 2 simultaneous streaming. logged in only in 2/3 device of which only in one device i can watch new serieses like Odrisso, Nikhoj, 16.5 where as these serieses doesn’t run in another mobile! never! there is no place to complain no email no customer service nothing. its a garbage app

Was working fine until

Was working fine until I bought yearly subscription in itunes. It never showed up in app and i am not able to watch anything. Apple support confirmed hoichoi developer has to fix it. Hoichoi developer team is still looking for last 2 days.

No subtitles in apple tv app

Great content, but some technical issues need to be fixed. Slow loading, no option to turn on subtitles in the apple tv app, etc.

Less than okay

Since it’s a paid app, they should have more content. Specially movies. Lots of old movies but new collection is too low. Should add more Bangladeshi contents. Overall 4.5 is overrated

Wrong amount to subscribe?

Recently got this app after my good experience with Hotstar thought I will give it a shot but why I try to subscribe it says 400 rupees per year but upon clicking subscribe button it says 80$ per year.. lol why such big diff?

App isn’t original

Contrary to the contents, the Hoichoi app is not original. The app is similar to netflix but lacks better execution of features. There are a lot of features but not refined. The UI/UX can do a better job of making the app seem original and navigation a bit better. The platform can do a better job of making the app smooth. Love the contents.

Paid but still no subscription

I paid for a monthly subscription through App Store but the Hoichoi app still tells me that I have no subscription. Restore purchase is also not working. Disappointed :(

Worst app

It doesn’t work for samsung tv. They can’t solve the problem. Those poor guy don’t know anything. Don’t waste your single penny. They have the worst service I have ever seen.

Error in Subscription

Every time I am asked to log in. Once i logged in, i am told that i have exceeded the maximum subscription limit. Totally disappointing!

Content does not get updated frequently

Hoichoi being part of SVF we would expect lot of new bengali movies coming to Hoichoi sooner but that is not happening.

Buffering… Buffering…. Buffering

The streaming keeps buffering even with a 40 Mbps internet connection. Totally unwatchable. Wasted the money for one year subscription.

Cant cast on TV

Hi, I have a subscription. While i am trying to project or custon tv by using google chromecast its not allowing for few seriese. As like: karagar part 2, buke jolche agun, guti etc.

Unable to login

The app keeps throwing error “Unable to fetch data” at launch on iPad Pro, iPhone XS & Apple TV 4K. Also getting error of “Server error” on all devices when attempted to log in.

DO NOT PURCHASE if you are using UHD tv.. the app does not have option to detect HD quality while connecting through chrome cast and every video will become blurry...

This is such a basic app. Support is horrible. Nobody replies to support requests for tens of minutes forcing you to quit support request portal. Disgusting app.
