Greetings Island Review

This app has been an outstanding choice. I enjoy event planning as a passion and use this app plenty. However, I did not go into depth on the details of its high qualities. The function of this app is used greatly as it has many terrific templates to use as a design. Whether being a baby shower or a birthday, this app has it all! Greetings Island also has few features that allow the user to personalize it to their own comforts. These alterations include adding additional text and stickers. There are accommodations that are an optional change to the text. These are the font types, sizes, color, and alignment of the text. Greetings Island is very generous with ads that you could simple close instead of impatiently waiting with a video ad. With various features and qualities involved all throughout Greetings Island, this app is guaranteed to bring success to itself and to all its users!

My Favorite 2020 App

Oh, my gosh! I love this app. I love receiving snail mail and cards from others, and this year I was determined to do the same for my friends and family. But, there was one problem. My handwriting is terrible. People would have to call me to decipher my handwriting. The process of having to translate caused the whole thoughtful factor of sending the card to be utterly lost. So to avoid this hassle, I had to get on my computer, come up with a card design, and type up my message. This chore took me forever, so I never did it. Until I discovered this app. I can now be sitting with my family watching a show, I am not really watching, pick a card, jot down a few lines, and BAM...be done. I love customized and personal cards and notes; this app allows me to do that. Plus, it’s free. I so love this thing. Thank you, thank you to the developers. But there are some annoyances. For instance, you cannot shift a text box to properly center it on your printed pages — that is the case with the inside page and the last page. While it makes the printed card look a bit awkward, it is not enough to stop using this app.

A M A Z I N G!!!

Update: It’s been a year now that I have had this app. I don’t use it often but anytime I do I just love it!! I still stand by my first review! So far I have only had this app for a few days. I downloaded it to help me out with my baby’s blessing invitation. I am BEYOND happy with the app and honestly a little sad I didn’t learn about it sooner, it makes virtual invitations a BREEZE no joke. I tried making an invitation on Word Swag; while it is a great app it’s not idea for creating invitations, so this one was a total life saver. I will 100% be using it again and again and again! I am shell shocked at how easy and simple this app is to use! And it’s FREE!! 🥰

If you want actual free design

AMAZING. No watermark, the designs are beautiful and I was able to make my invitations for my wedding, looking professional and just what I was wanting. Other sites where I’m trying to get them made, had beautiful designs but none felt fitting. I tried this just on a whim and I’m in love with just the very first one I chose while playing around with what it can do! Afterwards you can save it no problem!! Only thing I would change is having an undo button and a preview button so you can see if you like the finished design without having to save as a photo first. Overall fantastic!

Really Good!

I love the card choices and the varied ways to share the cards. The primary reason I didn’t give it five stars is that when I print the cards (Not the quarter fold cards), the printing doesn’t quite fit the page and the inside greeting comes out uncentered - unless I perform some technical gymnastics to make it fit (changing the paper size to what is supposed to be the wrong size, and other inconviences.) It would be wonderful also if the editing were more intuitive, but that’s a minor issue. Sharing the cards online or via email works great. Since the other apps I had were not longer working on any of my devices, this app fits my needs, and I am thankful for it.

Best E Card App!

Love this app, the free version offers a lot and you can pick a card with a background you like and then just change the words to what you want to avoid paying for some of the paid cards because the background shows up under multiple topics. I use this for every birthday, holiday…pretty much anything! I did end up signing up for the paid version eventually because I like having more options but you can upload your own background as well! Lots of layout options, can upload pics. Love it!

The best invite making app ever

I want to throw parties JUST so I can use this app. I love that they didn’t ask me to sign in until I got to try the app. I love how many invite templates they have. I LOVE that you can save or print or share it right from the app. So fast and easy. THANK YOU to whoever made this; you are changing the world for the better. I tried so many invitation makers that were garbage before stumbling onto this and now my life is at peace. Haha. Seriously! I don’t even mind the ads because it’s free and high quality! Keep up the good work Greetings Island!

Why I love greeting island .

I love greeting island I get to customize my own card or use others , the thing I love about this app is that I get to make an card not only share to others and have fun and make birthdays cards for me and my friends . Also I can get payed and buy things with my money I love this app and I love using it to make my cards my brithday is coming up so I made myself and birthday bash card . I love it so much I would love doing more things like wedding cards Birthday cards and more to get payed for your help thank you greeting island .

Amazing App!

I absolutely love this app! It is so easy to use and there are many templates to choose from- for every occasion! I got this to just send a little thing to my mom, but I saw how great it is and I kept the app! The only problems are, that 1, I can’t see the final card without the dotted lines before I save or print it, and 2, it’s really easy to accidentally delete or move a text box or sticker. Maybe that wouldn’t happen as much if you had to double tap. But overall, this is an amazing app!

I like it

I’ve been using this app for a few years now I’ve only used the invites. My family is always throwing parties. They recently added premium options for some of their nicer invites, signed up for the trial and was charged for the premium because I didn’t cancel but honestly bc the invites are so stream lined I didn’t mind but it’s not worth paying yearly.:: one time is enough. I would like to see some animated/gif invites or popular character invites. You can add pictures, edit fonts, change font colors etc. it takes the stress and hassle out of making invites from scatch

So many ideas!!

This app is so much fun to use. It’s so easy to use and with step by step instructions has me going to this app for so many ideas for printable invitations and other functions. The ease of changing the font size and creating your own wording is just awesome. You can start with a blank slate and then add what you need for the page to say. I make lists by choosing from the many many background illustrations as an added look to dress up notes for holidays and grocery list.

Best free invite maker

I am the president of a party planning committee, and we do a small party once a month. There are some premium versions of cards that I do wish were free, but I guess that’s why their premium is because they’re the cutest. ;) Even without paying for that though, there are plenty of free options that are absolutely darling, and I really don’t mind the logo in the corner, so I’m really happy about this app. Super easy to use!

Love the app but way to many ads

I love this app so much! I use it for all of my invitations from birthdays to holidays. It is great because there are tons of templates for every occasion and you can add pictures, stickers, change the fonts and sizes and a ton of other things. However, my only complaint is that anytime you want to do something there is an ad. Whether you want to go back in and edit a draft, or even just throw it in the trash. However, other than that, it's an amazing app and I would definitely recommend it.

My favorite app to use would definitely have to be this one. Especially when I don’t have a chance to get out to the store to get a card or go to a store to make invitations, hands down best way of making them! Use it every time I need too and it checks off all of my needs! The coolest part about this app is how you get to design it in your own way. Absolutely love this app!

Okay site

I’ve been using this site for many years and recently purchased the membership upgrade but am looking for a new site to use. All cards were previously free but the membership was added so they could charge for certain cards. I print all of my own cards. Other than that, there seems to be no special reason to purchase a membership. This site doesn’t offer unlimited saves of your creations and they don’t regularly update card designs. The app has limited use. Some design features can’t be accessed on the app, a computer is required.

Easy and festive

The designs of the invitations are so pretty and theme driven. I appreciate the multiple choices of designs we are given. Printing (if you can print from phone), texting, or saving to photo library are examples to save/ get access to the invitation. I think emailing is another option! I never thought it would be this easy. The option to save a draft is a bonus.

Obnoxious, loud ads

I have been having fun with this app until tonight. I created a card the other day and when i tried to retrieve it tonight to use, it was gone. Cant find the template anymore to re-create it either, more than frustrating . And to add injury to insult, they have now added OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD ADS that play every time you choose to look at a new design. Seriously? I understand the need for ads, but to have them pop up with the SOUND ON is NOT ok. please, Please, PLEASE just turn OFF the sound effects!!! And make sure the “save” feature actually works 🤯

I downloaded this app because the reviews made it sound great... and IT IS!! I just made my son’s birthday invitations and they are perfect, exactly how I wanted them! I LOVE the option of being able to upload photos/templates/stickers/etc from my own gallery, as well as having the apps collection to choose from. Free app, no crashing, easy saves. I’ll be using this app to create invitations for all of our get togethers! Thank you!!

Just what I was looking for

This app has so many options, both for free and at premium level—which is still cheaper per month than buying one nice greeting card. I’m making my beautiful wedding invitations with this app and my mom bought some nice paper from Staples and is printing them. Very nice and professional. I can’t wait to use it for my baby shower invitations!

I’ve making my own invitations for family and friends for years and finding an app that already has what I need without having to look for all the little details myself saves so much time!!! Used for a purpose other than an invitation

I was looking for an app to make a pretty tag for instructions for mug Cakes. The designs were easy to manipulate into Cake title added ingredients and instructions. I loved that I could easily change fonts and text size. The four image print option is the perfect size for my needs. This app just made my usual struggle with coming up with a pretty tag for this project so much easier.

Phone invite in minute worked great!

I used this to create a mobile invitation to text and printed it. Both came out great. I wish I could add another line of text and not just use the ones that come with each template. That limited being able to change the text size for small details. Other than that works great. I also wish they let me move around some of the graphics in the template. But that isn’t was just a small thing.

It’s a great app

It has never failed me ! Others make you buy stuff and then don’t work or have a huge water mark in the middle this app is great for invitations or all kinds ! Lots to choose from! And you can add whatever picture you want if you didn’t like what they have but I have never had to do that!!! Been using it for years it seems

The Best Free app for making cards!

I was looking for an app for making and sending invitations and greeting cards. This is the best app! The designs are pretty. App is easy to use you can use different fonts, change size, position words where you want. You can tag your favorites card design and save your cards/invitations. You can also send invites in many different ways. The best app ever!

Birthday invite

A friend introduced me to this app and I must say I am not a computer savvy person but it was easy to breeze through and make a beautiful card to pass out through text message & emails to friends, it made my life so much easier and in the matter of minutes and I having to go into a store to shop and look for invitations. Awesome experience!!

Wonderful...Useful

I downloaded the app to my iphone & immediately loved it!!! I have used it from the website on my Win 10 laptop. There it does not function as well. Hence, only 4 stars. It says you can move text boxes by grabbing the dotted lines. You may grab them but they don’t go anywhere! I ended up going back to my phone to create my card. Please make an app for Win 10.

Easy and professional looking

Such an easy app to use, I just created birthday party invites quickly, able to save to my photos and text to family / friends. There were a couple of ads in the beginning, but turned off the phone volume and they weren’t bothersome - very small inconvenience for a free app! Thank you for creating this !

Able to customize almost every text block

I needed a First Communion invitation for my son. I found a design I really liked for a completely different ceremony. I was able to change it to fit my needs. It came out so nice. I have been using the app for everything. I just found a variety of thank you designs!

Great app for invites & cards

Almost perfect app. Easy to use and great selection of different templates. Birthday party invites, religious occasions invites, baby shower, thank you cards etc. So far only con is there isn’t a way to correct errors, there is no “undo” button. I used app to create office holiday party invites which were well received.

Love this app.

This is the best little app. I use it to make all our birthday or event invitations. It’s easy to use and PLENTY of free templates to choose from. Sure the paid ones are really cute but if your frugal like me that’s the reason your using a free invitation app and I promise you there’s plenty of options for the free ones.

Awesome app!

I love this app for digital invitations. There are so many cute ones to choose from and you can edit them easily. You just save it to your phone as a photo and text it to whoever you want. So easy to use and no need to send links that people have to click. I love it.

Great! But...

This is a great app and well worth the purchasing the premium for me because I use it so often. However, I wish there I was able to warp texts and flip the texts however I wished. This limits the use of simple cards being used any other way than portrait mode. This can be frustrating sometimes.

Awesome!!!

I love this app. It's awesome! I was trying to create a baby shower invitation that I could save and print. I tried several apps and websites and the templates were either ugly or I wasn't able to save and print. This app was super easy to navigate and I got exactly what I was looking for. I was able to edit and change fonts, sizes and colors! I'm a happy camper! :-)

Not bad

This is definitely an app that is worth it to have. I wish they would give you a little more freedom when you choose a specific layout but other than that, it’s amazing and I don’t think that there is anything wrong with it. I definitely recommend it to anyone who plans things or needs to write a thank you note or happy birthday card.

Best invitation creation app

Super, super easy to use and has a beautiful and professional selection of templates. Best part is it’s completely free! I didn’t have to subscribe to use certain templates/ features like some of the other apps. I also didn’t have to deal with obnoxious ads every 5 seconds. I got so many compliments.

Not liking the changes

This app WAS amazing! But with the new change and update they only allow you access to certain ones now… this was my go to for any type of party/get togethers we were having but now I see they only give you little to choose from before having to pay. I’ll prob be making my invites else where now 😕

Super easy

Making my wedding invitations was so easy! Easy to edit every text. The design options are so great! The only thing missing is an order button. I wish I didn’t have to transfer the file to another site.

Continual Problems. Can’t even open.

When I initially purchased this app almost 8 years ago, it worked flawlessly! I have made so many beautiful invitations and cards. But, in the last year, I have not even been able to open the app on my phone. I am continually deleting the app, downloading the new one, updating it, and I still am not able to open it and work on anything! It is very frustrating! I am paying for some thing I can’t even use!

So Easy & So many amazing temples

I just needed a simple template for my bonfire and it had an easy customizable layout. The invitation saves directly to your images so you can text or email your invitation. You can make edits once you’ve saved it as a draft. And the templates are so cute and great for all the occasions. LOVE THIS APP!

Save the Dates

I had such a hard time finding a card I could do Christmas style for my save the dates that didn’t charge extra simply by being Christmas cards! With this app, I was able to create my Christmas save the dates and still get the cheaper save the date price!

Almost Great.

I just wish that you could do the same on here as you can on the website. Like rotating the images, putting the images forward or backwards, having the option to choose from “Suggested Messages “.. just to name a few.
