Never had any issues

Been using this app for a couple of months already and never had any problems as described in reviews. It works perfectly fine on my IPad and IPhone. It’s very convenient if you travel a lot!!! Love Kartina Tv ❤️

Overall it’s pretty good but..

Sometimes if I find something I want to watch and click it the app closes itself for some reason with no explanation then I have to start the app again. It’s not the end on the world because the app is pretty fast so everything starts up and does what I want to eventually pretty fast but still. Another thing is the subtitles. I would like the option to put subtitles on in both English or Russian ( the two languages i speak of course other languages welcome lol) because at night I can’t have volume high and I’m hard of hearing so this is very frustrating at times not having subtitles. But overall I’m pleased with the app and hope they continue to update there movie and tv shows library because if one is going to pay 30$ usd a month for it the it should definitely always be updated lol so until there’s subtitles I say 4 stars I use it on ROKU.

Glitchy and slow

This app doesn’t work properly no matter where you try to watch it, on iPad or iPhone. Shuts down every single time when the phone or iPad is not on. Also it doesn’t switch between episodes automatically so in order to go to another episode, you have to close the current on, go back and open whatever you need. It has no life stream as well. Additionally, with the current events in the world, the app (both on tv and iPad) took out all Russian channels and replaced them with channels on Ukrainian language which we personally didn’t ask for because neither members of my family speaks. I understand the intention behind it, however if you’re going to take out the most popular Russian channels, do it but at least ask people whether they want the others or not.

One of the worst applications out there!!!

Constant disconnects and crashes. Every time it comes back from the background, like when you answer a call, it crashes. Can’t keep up with what has been watched and what hasn’t. Laters feature - unable to enter a landscape mode - plays a the video placed across the portrait mode and manages to place it up-side-down while at it! Developers are absolute trash! Did I mention constant freezes? Easier to watch something somewhere else then here and I have to pay for the service! What a disgrace!!!

Awful

I bought a new TV and subscribed to this app so I can have Russian tv but the quality both on the TV and phone is HORRIBLE. Its very blurry definitely not HD. The app is not very user friendly. It exits the app if you open your drop down menu or turn up brightness. Very poor quality everything. It doesn’t have that many shows and movies on it either. And I doubt they will cancel my free trial period before I have to pay just to get money out of me. Yeah, I will stick to Netflix. Don’t suggest anyone downloading this app.

Great app

Wow, it’s just amazing! Couldn’t even imagine that I can watch my favorite shows and movies in Russian and Ukrainian language on the go - everywhere! Would highly recommend it to all my friends and family!

Racist app

After removing Russian language news channels, what news TV channels in other languages were removed? If this was done against TV news channel in Hebrew language based in Israel it would be antisemitism. Unsubscribe. Any discrimination based on national origin, language, race, nationality is illegal and should not be tolerated. There are plenty other sources streaming news in many different languages without discrimination of others.

Do not believe the negative reviews!

The absolutely phenomenal app! The remarkable Technical Support Team is highly responsive and productive! The App Developers are constantly improving the product, and without an exaggeration- have created a masterpiece! The amount of the movies within the 4 Video Libraries is indescribable. The quality of the Channels’ Streaming- is unmatched! What else do you need!????

Terrible customer service

They have lowered the annual subscription to 180 or 18/mo but if you are like me and purchased annual subscription couple of months back too bad, because they don’t do a recount for people who subscribed through Apple. I guess my biggest complaint is customer service which took over 2 weeks to reply to my inquiry with regards to this injustice and they weren’t even apologetic about this.

Great quality but

Love everything about kartina: HD, Start. However channel 1 is not available which is the major channel i watch. Same about dom kino, these r two main channels for me and both of them aren’t available anymore.

Great app, however it would be nice if at least some shows had the option to turn on Russian subtitles.

Some channels are missing

Some channels are not available (Первый канал, ТНТ) and you don’t know what’s available unless you purchase the service... In addiction, there is a quality issue on Apple TV app. After 4-5 times of using the app, 1/4 of the screen is black. Need to reboot the device every time to fix this issue. Not a great thing for $29 per month...

one IP

premium subscription lets you watch on multiple devices, but only under one IP. So if you travel and want to watch, while your family watching at home, you’re out of luck.

Misleading, no live stream, no channel 1

There is no channel 1 programs at all which you find out only after you subscribe. There is also no online live streaming which is misleading as they advertise like you can watch channels. So no, you can’t watch channels, just some shows and movies previously streamed on those channels.

Crashed, wrong messages, cannot get purchased account

Crashed during purchase. After that cannot restore the purchase from Apple ID however money were withdraw from my credit card. The error message says “wrong login. Contact support” - there is no support link,phone,email in the GUI

Recent version disaster

Hope you’re aware you’ve rolled out a poorly designed buggy update. It crashes all the time, streams multiple feeds from different channels at the same time, doesn’t pause correctly. The new grid is useless. You’ve ruined a solid and stable iOS app.

Apple is removing channels from app!!

Honestly it’s frustrating can not watch Russia 1 channel and few other Chanel’s on iPhone or iPad. Apple is evil and they manipulate you what they like you to watch. I can still watch those channels on browser etc.

Very poor UI quality

Not intuitive navigation through recorded programs Time shift is broken. If I set my time zone, I cannot watch the shows recorded in Moscow time—it cuts me off by 8 hours Program guide is broken. I need to choose a previous day to see today’s content. The vendor seems to have forgotten about quality control. For $300 I pay annually, this app is a crap. The app for Apple TV has the same exact issues.

Cancel subscription

I can’t cancel subscription on KartinaTV TV. My Apple ID does not have this subscription. How can I do this?

Annoying Ads, Loud Sound of TV in headphones.

This app was good before the latest update. However, now there are annoying ads that appear when watching tv programs. When listening this app through headphones, even the lowest level of sound is too loud for me. Kartina TV, please take actions to address the above mentioned problems. Thank you!

EXAMPLES OF WHAT IS BAD

Always lagging, very hard to watch something from archive, streaming wrong videos. About HD quality I am not even talking... I have very good internet, and still its hard to watch HD. And interface is not user-friendly.

Less channels for the same price

They promised to add Perviy channel- no luck. Price the same. It’s horrible quality with need to reboot. Why to pay more for less? Just crazy

Don’t update your Kartina TV. It will remove many channels. Time to cancel Kartina TV and use another service!

Not ТНТ и 1ый канал in app.

I don’t know why no ТНТ И 1ый канал not in the app but THT is available on TV. Mostly using phone or tablet but not happy with it not adding THT to видеотека.
