Great App!

Easy to navigate and always up to date. Still great story tellers at this station! Keep up the great work. (But then I’m a little bias, since I was a member of the team about 20 years ago.)🤗

Pretty good news service

Content on your news is pretty good. Not much detail is included. There is a problem with your software for the Apple iPhones. Your weather radar does not display correctly on the Apple iPhones. You have never been able to fix it. Displaying the news on an iphoneX causes the iPhone to lock up at times. Sure wish you could fix the problem.

Too many alerts

I have both weather alerts and forecast alerts turned off. Yet the send me an alert at 6:54 in the morning to tell me it’s going to be sunny today. REALLY?! Wake me up to tell me it’s going to be sunny!!! They no longer have my trust.

Alerts

I started with all alerts other than weather set to off and was getting a lot of non weather news reports throughout the day, so I turned off all alerts and I am still getting a lot of non weather news reports throughout the day.

Sure enjoy the articles from Patrick Cunninham! Very insightful and well written! Hope to see him doing work on live tv. Seems like he would make a great reporter or on air personality.

Poor weather radar

Don’t know why, but all of a sudden after several years, I cannot get a good forecast, including radar, with info on upcoming fronts anymore.... This started a month or so ago.

KETK APP

I love my KETK app. They are on top on news stories immediately and post it immediately. Very helpful also with crashes on highways in our area so we can avoid them. I love it!

This is very good way to keep with breaking news in our area. I would recommend it highly.

Extremely annoying

I’ve read the news on this app for years. Since the latest update, I don’t because it is too annoying to deal with the video automatically starting when you try to read an article. I plan to use other apps until this is fixed.

Too many notifications

I don’t need to know every 5 minutes there is a thunderstorm. Deleted all notifications from this app. Way too chatty

Cry wolf much?

One of THE MOST ANNOYING apps I’ve EVER used for “breaking” news! EVERY new story is considered “breaking” and, therefore, you are BOMBARDED with alerts whenever a new article is published vs. something major you actually want to know about. Even adjusting the settings DOES NOT HELP because, again, EVERYTHING is “breaking” vs. “new.” ARGH!!

Fake news ads

For real news station, they've recently been showing a lot of fake news ads in the app. Some have even stated that celebrities that are clearly not dead, killed them self. Very morbid and disturbing. I expected more. Ads I get, but why peddle such garbage.

Crash

So tired of getting news notifications that lock up when opening the app. KLTV app works fine. This is junk.

Superb

KETK does an superb job keeping me abreast of Local, Regional, and National news through their mobile app. They seem to do an excellent job of sending me news alerts ranging from Local to global, but never any fluff. My alerts only come when their is real news. Excellent Weather Forecasting. Can't speak to their sports coverage.

This app was not great when if first came out. Very buggy. They made some changes and it's a lot better now.

Friday Football Fever Is my Favorite!!

I love the new layout on page. The live coverage is the best in the market. The updated scores are timely!! Thank you Mike Alzamora and the sports team!!

You Can't be serious!

Now that it FINALLY doesn't crash all the time, there are obnoxious pop-up ads. Once the pop-up is cleared, one is then presented with "reporting" [wink, wink...] that is rife with spelling and grammatical errors that would embarrass a 4th grader. Couple that with "tomorrow's" weather forecasts from 3-4 days ago and passé stories that are a week or two old. What's not to love??

It would have been better to just discontinue this app altogether. Disappointing.

EPIC FAIL!

This app use to be great. Now if you click on a notification it will open the app then Crashes. Also the ad pop ups have become insane. Ads cover news articles and when you click the x a different ad pops back up. Too Much.

App still does not work

We have not been able to get the app to work well with any consistency since its update. It often does not open. When it does, there is often little East Texas news. Very frustrating as it had been a go to app for news and weather.

Terrible app

When this app first came out, I downloaded it but it would not open on my iPad. Then the developer updated it and it finally worked. We'll, yesterday they updated it and laugh out loud and behold I now won't open again. I give up.

I hate the new radar picture. You cannot zoom in on it and has poor detail. I want the old app back. It was better designed and more user friendly.

Major fail

We have followed KETK weather on broadcast and app for so long. It's difficult to make the decision to go elsewhere. Weather is too important in the golf course maintenance industry. The new app is horrible.

KETK had the best weather radar in East Texas but the new app radar is HORRIBLE! About the same quality as WeatherBug.

Used to be a great app until today 11-25-20

This was my favorite news app until today! I have deleted the app because I don’t appreciate sponsors video ads popping up while I’m scrolling through the headlines or reading a news story over and over.
