KWQC-TV6 News

Probably one of the weirdest news apps I’ve ever used. The first main link, to the weather, doesn’t take you to any weather news. Instead of opens up the App Store so you can download their weather app. Forget it. Deleted the app and will go to WQAC News.

I loved this app and used it all the time but since the recent update it won't let me see the weather and instead tries to have me download their separate weather app. Nope! You get one spot on my phone. I may switch to another channel.

I didn’t mind so much pop up ads but when you are trying to be quiet somewhere and just read the news and video ads keep popping up as soon as you open the app it gets pretty annoying. I will be deleting this app because of the pop up videos

I used to have this app and use it all the time , I’ve recently had to uninstall due to it not opening at all it acts like it’s gonna load then just closes out .

I like weather notifications and road closures it helps me navigate my drive through the Qca

I love the new app!!! The radar is awesome!!! Normally, I use the WQAD radar but I can't wait to use this new one next time we get poor weather conditions!!!

This app is great but it would be easier on the eyes if you had a dark mode

They talk on tv about a subject and tell you to go to their app and see more. You go to the app and takes forever to find article if you can find it at all. I am going to delete it from my phone tiered of fighting it.

KWQC was giving rolling 14 day per for COVID-19 tests. Last week they switched to averaging all the tests going back to March, making our ppr meaningless. Now they’ve switched again. They give Illinois full info and zip..nada for Iowa. I cannot use such a biased source of news. Just deleted it.

I’ve downloaded this app twice and both times when I open it the app just loads and never opens🤷🏼‍♀️

Disappointed with app. Every time I open the app and click on whatever news story, app closes out immediately. This has never happened before up until the past week or so.

Unfortunately this news is riddled with ads! Hard to find the actual news given the overwhelming ads taking up most of the space. Get that ads are needed to generate income but this is ridiculous.

Clean up all the ads and people will use it! Radar is better!

This app has never loaded correctly. It will occasionally load an ad. Once the ad has been closed, it locks up. Poor poor poor.

Since resetting my iPad, this app will not load content! Just keeps thinking,and thinking, and thinking!

When I get a notice and click it, nothing happens in the app. Got notice of of the live streaming of the Testim of trees clicked it, but it didn’t take me to it.

The old app was my go to for local news - not anymore he new one is terrible - almost ready to delete it completely- it's useless - put the old app back!

New app looks good. Sadly, that's about all it's good for - try to move away from the main menu and the app crashes. Kinda sorry I deleted the old app, at least that worked.

Obviously mixing ‘real’ news stories with ads and sponsored content. All made to look the same. Intentionally deceptive. Too many ads also

I liked the old option of choosing national, Iowa, or Illinois news where'd all that go? Can't navigate to it. Weather is better that's about it

I love the app but would like support for chrome cast as well.

Downloaded the app. Tried to open it. It just spun and spun, and spun. Deleted the app and re-download it. It still spins and spins and won’t open will be deleting the app.

Nothing like seeing an ad every time you open app.

App does not work used to check it 1st thing now it won’t open,even after deleting and then downloading new app will not open

Waiting for an update that will fix it. It never happens. I can see alerts but ap won’t open for news story.

App won’t open after update 5 days ago, acts like it will open but just spins and never opens.

I turned off the alerts and it still keeps telling me flood warning. App is now deleted

This app would be great, but I rely on the bridge cams every day and now they're gone! 😡

Only thing that loads are the ads. Deleting it now.

Have the old app and can’t upload new app. What is the problem??

I think you should make sure your app works before you put it out for people to use 👎☹️

The KWQC app has too many ads before live streaming even starts. Go for the WQAD app instead.

Keep the old app as long as you can. This is buggy, glitchy, and antiquated

Old app worked fine. Now app won’t open on iPhone. What happened?

And the app is just a result of inbreeding and farm runoff.

Uninstalling now. The old one was great. This is garbage.

I removed it.
