I love the app but the links need to be changed from dark blue to yellow or something with contrast. I have to strain to read the clickable links because it’s blue on black.
I don’t understand, A month ago I went and paid for an entire year subscription since I love following live trials and documentaries. Only to find out that it hasn’t put out content since March 2022. It’s January 2023. The content that does exist is literally a handful of videos that are extremely low in quality and production. They don’t have old trials or complete trials, their live show is brief and college level production. It’s as if it’s been abandoned and they’re still tricking people, like myself, into thinking Law and Crime Daily would be you know up to date, even their specials are misleading and pretend to be a film and it’s just trial highlights. It really feels like I’ve been conned.
Navigation is poor, you have to turn your tablet vertical before you see the navigation bar. When you create an account to sync content across devices, attempt to login on another device, ie Apple TV, you get “wrong password” error. When you try to reset password, you get “internal server error.” I love live courtroom coverage, but I refuse to pay a subscription to an app that is severely flawed. You would think you would get more from a service with the backing of A&E Networks. Fortunately there is CourtTV.
I was so excited to find this app. Downloaded and subscribed to the premium service. Have had nothing but a terrible experience. The app is very buggy. Login is successful MAYBE 50% of the time. When I am logged in, I can’t access the premium content and instead just get stuck in this never-ending loop of “Sign-in”…”Get Access”… nothing works!!! So disappointed and will definitely have to cancel my subscription if this is the experience I will have.
Love the network, but I DO NOT love this app. It's slow and glitchy and I expect more, especially if I'm paying for it. I appreciate this network working to fill the void left behind by Court TV. The trials are really great. I just hate that they take sooooooo many commercial breaks. They take more than regular television. This app needs some serious TLC, a total refresh, and redesign to make it more user friendly and attractive.
First whoever choose angles for the live feed needs some retraining. Trying to watch the Depp trial and they never showed evidence that was published. I’d switch to another network and there it was. The app brings up no results searching for Depp even though the verdict isn’t in. I’ve created an account and signed in repeatedly and it just keeps asking me to sign in. No obvious was to follow a trial and get the supposed push notifications that are mentioned. Every part of L&C is a mess.
What a great App! I have especially enjoyed Brian Ross Investigates. He is informative, and tackles issues that no one else has. Great to hear him. He has been missed on ABC and we are glad to see he is now reporting for Law and Crime.
App doesn’t refresh live trials... 30 free minutes but still ads! If you have ads he network feed should be free. As for the live trials it’s been stuck on Hartung for weeks now! This app could be great when you get around to fixing it...so for now 2stars..
I love the concept of the app. I always follow the law and crime network. However, I'm a visually impaired person who uses the Voice Over screen-reader on a regular basis. Some accessibility improvements would be greatly appreciated.
When Court TV went away, I was so disappointed. Now I have access again to the trials and legal discussions that are so interesting. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS AVAILABLE!
I wanted a second gavel to gavel coverage of trials and it actually worse than regular cable television - it’s too bad - the coverage between commercials is excellent, however, there is less coverage than commercials - BOO-HISS Let me know when this changes and I will return ASAP
Got on for the Depp/Heard trial and enjoyed it so much I signed up for the Premium service. What a disappointment!! I can’t load anything. The login doesn’t work 99% of the time. Total waste of time and money. Cancelled subscription.
I used to love this app- used it daily & trusted the reporting. One day I went to open it and BAM, no more news unless I subscribed with payment. Kinda makes me ill.
I used to love this app, but a few weeks ago their live channel stopped working and they have no tech support. I paid for an annual subscription but there’s nothing I get that can’t be found on their website. What a disappointment!!
The app only opens for 1 second. Also, I tapped on App Support and there’s a bunch of error messages on the web page. Why now during the trial of the decade?!!
The murder trial of George Floyd, defense calls first witness and you chose that moment to go to breaks and not cover it. That was not professional and made me feel that you did not want me to wee his testimony. CTV covered it in entirety. Such a shame.
Yes I paid for subscription. What a mistake! It won’t log on AppleTV. Only live feed available. No videos. I contacted support and was told AppleTV app not up yet. These people charging money for something they know does not work. I did check out on my phone. Not much content. Several videos, nothing else. CourtTV is free and a way better app.
I am deaf. Please provide closed caption on Law & Crime Network. Our Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community needs closed caption. Editing now on December 4th. This was a complete waste of money. I have it on a roku and an Apple TV. Right in the middle of a trial (Mark sieverts) law and crime switched to another trial. No big deal except the live stream is only available on the website for the trial that they were streaming. It’s nowhere to be found on the app. Under “live trials” it still has the Dan Markel case and when you click it it’s a new trial they started this week. The second trial (Mark sievers) which we have been watching for Over a week is nowhere to be found on the paid app (and never was I always had to watch it on the free YouTube app on my tv with the law and crime stream on their YouTube channel). However, on the law and crime website it can be watched completely free on a computer. I purchased this app to watch it on a TV. Not sit at my computer. They also switched the free live stream on YouTube to their new trial mid sievers trial. Again , not very nice to the paid subscribers. Very disappointing. Original review: The first tab with all the commentary always works. However the second tab with the live feeds never works properly. It’s hit or miss. The guy on the first tab literally talks about a case that is “live right now” and I can’t watch it. Had to switch to court tv app which is free by the way. Wish I never paid for this.
I no longer can access ad-free/commentator-free live trials on this app. I am current on my annual subscription, so that’s not the issue. I have emailed their customer service 3 times to see if there is perhaps a new way to access live trials but have gotten no response. What is the point of paying for this channel (albeit just 19.99 annually) with no occasional ad free trials to watch? May as well just watch CourtTV which is free.
App won’t allow you to create an account to sign in. They don’t respond to repeated requests for support.And the app now immediately crashes whenever it’s opened. It’s a joke! Apple and Google need to remove this app as they’re selling a nonworking product that paying customers cannot access.
Why am I seeing ads on a paid subscription app?? Will be canceling immediately. I can watch the same content for free from the app on YouTube without the ads. This makes zero sense and comes off greedy and poor marketing.
