So refreshing, so clean, clean
I searched through all the Hebrew learning apps and for me this app mops the the floor I can’t see the competition. This app takes up all my Hebrew learning time and I’m attending an online school but I’m a plumber on the go and this app helps me to keep learning on the go through the day. I like the drops of education, it really helps me to study in small amounts through out the day so I can keep learning Hebrew words, alphabet(אב), numbers, colors, travel phrases etc. it’s just fun and motivating to keep you from falling off the learning wagon. Try the free stuff but I recommend you eventually buy the lifetime subscription it’s the best offer if you’re going to pay. I give this app 5 🌟 I back to a second time to say even after months of use I’m still very happy with my premium purchase and continued education in Hebrew.

Drops is amazing!!!😄😄😄
I’m a Jewish child and want to learn Hebrew to read a copy of the Torah in Hebrew, because it is the Jewish language. I’ve tried several other apps on learning this, because books just don’t seem to help. But this, this is amazing! On my first Drops day, I’ve learned so many new letters! It’s easy to memorize and everything seems easier than all the other apps. I love Drops. My favorite part is that it’s so easy to memorize everything and you can practice timed and see how you did and you can practice at your own pace. But, there’s one thing I’d change. Just one. I really need to learn to write Hebrew, and I was wondering if the app could do that. Because I’m not too far into the app, I don’t know if they teach you or not to write in Hebrew. Otherwise, the app is wonderful!

Grandma
There’s not enough time to review the English letters and compare the Hebrew letters at the same time before the next word pops up. Consequently, I get the English letters associated with the picture correct but struggle with the Hebrew letters because they are so different to visualize and learn. If you could leave the words up a few more seconds with both English and Hebrew OR just do the Hebrew word with Hebrew letters only with the pictures that would be awesome. That happened a couple of times on this last round and it helped associate the Hebrew word with the picture a lot better. Otherwise I love Drops!! It’s like a “learning” video game and it is fun. I plan to get a subscription as soon as I can. Thank you for Drops!!

I love this app
Before I met my wife, I only knew English and the idea of learning another language seemed insurmountable. While my wife was still alive, she taught me a few things... the basics of the alphabet, and a lot about the culture... but unfortunately she passed and we weren’t able to learn the language together. I love my wife dearly, and now that she’s gone I’ll do anything to honor her memory. Thanks to drops, i am learning the language of our people one word at a time. Now when I eat, I can pray in a way I know she’ll hear. English words will never be able to express my gratitude, but in time I’ll have the ability to speak the words myself. Thank you so much, and to the creator of this app, you have my eternal gratitude. You are doing Gods work.

At first glance, clever and enjoyable!
I tried it for the first time today, doing the 5 minute session recommended by the app itself, and I was quite impressed! I have spent quite a bit of time using Duolingo and Rosetta Stone for other languages such as Spanish, Russian and Arabic, and this one seems to be on par with both. It matches the proficiency of Rosetta Stone and maintains the fast-paced, entertaining method of Duolingo. I do not mean that this is by any means a cloning of the former two, but that is just how I compare it. Thank you for providing such a clever app to help me begin Hebrew! I will be glad to write another review after using this app for a longer period of time.

INFINITELY BETTER THAN DUOLINGO!
I have a 107 day streak for Hebrew on DUOLINGO but my frustrations with them are real. I decided to use another app to assist me in learning differently so I can improve on duo, but this one (drops) is so much better and clearer and it has more variety and fun…. In DUOLINGO I can answer questions like crazy but I have NO IDEA what words I’m even learning. Who does that?! Not drops. Instant learning and retainment and loads of methods used. I’m in love. Drops has a picture, pronunciation, the word in Hebrew letters, plus the hebrew word in English letters. Nailed it! I’m grasping it so fast now! Use duo for “learn the letters” and move on.

I love it so far!
I love drops! I’m a homeschooler and I’ve needed a way to teach myself Hebrew. This app is simple, easy, and it works. I’m 5 days in and I have 16 words memorized! However, I would love a way to earn more minutes rather than pay expensive prices for premiums. For example, earn an extra 2 minutes for 100% accuracy, and 1 minute for 90%. I don’t want to give up on Drops because it’s such a fun way to learn, but I need to kick it into a higher gear and learn more without spending a lot if money. Free, anytime tests and quizzes to practice the materials I’ve learned would be so amazing too!!

Pretty good app
I think this app is pretty good and I have definitely learned a lot of one Hebrew from it. The only things that I think they could improve on is the payment. I can't pay for any apps and I only got this app to learn Hebrew (which I'm sure many others have too) so I don't get why we have to pay. And only have 5 mins a day. But anyways I also wanted some sort of way we can hear the person saying the word so I know how to say it right. Other then that this is a good app and I'm glad I downloaded it.

was much better until the last update
this was always my “go to first” app for practicing my hebrew. there were a couple mistakes but overall a good app that made learning vocabulary easy and relatively fun. i would have given it 4-4.5 stars until the last update this past week. I used to practice 2x day—now i skip days. After you have to tap the picture to see the english word—and honestly the pics aren’t always easy to tell apart—it’s much clearer to associate two words together, english + hebrew. I won’t be looking at hand drawn pictures when i am speaking :-) what makes even it MORE confusing now is there are several mistakes. so, the pic, the spoken hebrew, the written hebrew and the english do not match. Developers, please review and edit your errors, and even better, make it an option to show/hide the english (or native) definition. thanks. PS: one feature i do like is that i can choose to only learn certain words/ignore others. I already know some basic hebrew so i choose not to “learn” those words. i also like that i must learn to spell words, that’s something i’d slack on if it was not mandatory.

love it
i wanted to learn Hebrew, now i am (: the interface is smooth and nice, and i like how my sessions are timed (15 min default). i also get a friendly reminder every day to practice. to the developers: i would like a little more focus on the Hebrew spelling. learning to write the language is equally as important as hearing and speaking (well it is to me). perhaps this can be a setting? where users can specify the intensity. i want to read scripture in the original text, fluently, so learning written Hebrew is key.

Great pace, easy to learn, and fun!
I have used this app, along with other (free version) language learning apps, and this is by far the best. The other apps started out way too difficult for a beginner encountering a completely foreign language. This app starts you out learning the alphabet and moves at a more reasonable pace, helping you to really learn the material. The other apps started a beginner with difficult sentences in the first lesson...and never mind learning the letters with them! It was very discouraging. Drops makes learning a language doable and fun!

BEST LANGUAGE APP OUT THERE
I’ve tried to learn Hebrew my whole life and nothing sticks! I’ve tried so many apps and websites, and everything is boring to me and doesn’t feel worth my time. After discovering drops, I find myself addicted to the app and crave the learning! The use of repetition is incredibly helpful and has helped me improve my Hebrew significantly. I wish the upgrade version wasn’t so expensive though :( I paid for it once and debating if I should pay for it again.

Amazing, I can’t say enough about how much I love it.
This is the best way to learn. I love that it adds words while quizzing you on the words you have learned. I am learning Portuguese and Hebrew. I think the best thing is how it spells the words out phonetically in English, then takes that away as you improve and further practice the words. That has been particularly helpful with Hebrew as the alphabet is completely different. I have tried many language apps, but drops is by far the most effective one I have tried.

This company and app will be the future of language learning.
This app takes a slow to fast approach from a beginner level to advanced level. It assumes that you weren’t born speaking the language. So in the first steps of American school, we learned the alphabet so that we could begin to read and then speak the language more swiftly and precisely. This app puts you as if your a beginner in a classroom and walks you through speaking Hebrew quickly and with exactness. This app is a great preparation for Rosetta Stone.

Good bit a few changes
I’m half Jewish and we have this really cool thing that me grandma gave us and I got so interested in it that I tried it on Duolingo bit that jumped into it WAY to quickly but this app is very nice! I’ve already learned ALOT in just 5 minutes the only thing I would change is making it 10 minutes or you can chose you tome limit. But over all this is only the first time I’ve used it and can’t wait to unlock it’s full ability's!

Drops = 😁🕎
Drops is amazing! I love it<3 just did the review of it. I have all the words in my head. Drops makes it easy to learn hebrew. I’m naturally Jewish and I didn’t even know there was a timer! This is a fun, interesting, and in the learning section. Love this app! One suggestion, idk if you already do this, bc I have my volume low, but put like how you say it at the bottom of the word. Just a suggestion, I highly recommend.

Re learning
I grew up in a Jewish household, and I learned how to speak (not understand) Hebrew in preparation for my bar’mitzvah but I fell out of practice after. As a result pretty much all Hebrew I learned was lost. After my grandma’s funeral about a week ago I decided I wanted to start getting back into the culture but I have to relearn just about everything. So far the app has really helped, and hopefully I’ll be able to come out of this speaking stronger than I was before.

Better than babbel and Duo lingo!!!
I downloaded this app in a trial run to brush up on my Hebrew. I started because I want to be able to understand Kabbalah, Wiccan spells, planetary magick and the Torah. I ended up buying a premium subscription for a year!!! In 4 days I’ve learned so much it’s incredible, I highly recommend this app to anyone wanting to learn. Thank you for creating this app in such a way that it is easy to internalize.

I’ve been trying to learn Hebrew for years especially the alphabet. This app helps make learning active, quick and even fun. I first used drops because many other language apps don’t teach Filipino, but there is Filipino drops. I like the drops format and suggested use. I look forward to continuing to learn daily and even try more especially Chinese. I’ll most likely recommend drops to close friends and family. Thank you, drops.

This app is great😝♥️🤪
It’s mind blowing 🤯 how fast you learn it is such a great app I do have one suggestion 😁 it would help if you could search any word and give the definition of Meaning of it and maybe let there be really cool goals you can reach or maybe you unlock certain things once you have learned something but I would give this app a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤩 review

Intuitive and Super Helpful!
I haven’t paid for a subscription. I just use the free version. Even with access to only 5 minutes, I find this app to be super intuitive and really helpful to learn using multiple senses (audio, visual, touch). The teaching is progressive and reveals more and more information as you learn so it’s not overwhelming. I definitely recommend!

First time to use
It was a fast five minutes, I was surprised when it came to an end. You have two choices as a first time as either beginner or intermediate. I’m a beginner. It gives the words in the Hebrew alphabet and the english spelling of the Hebrew word. Thank goodness. You could learn the Hebrew but the words go by fast so....it makes it difficult. I enjoyed it so I downloaded 3 other languages. Keep it interesting.

More time
The app is very helpful, and I like it a lot, but I can’t do hardly any learning time on it because you can only do the app for six minutes before you have to get off of it and use a different learning app because it costs “MONEY” and then I can’t use it anymore. So I strongly suggest that you put more time on the app so more people will use it and hopefully buy it... or people might just get sick and tired of only being able to use it for six minutes, and then they’ll delete the app. I know that if it doesn’t change, then I’ll delete that app and get a new one. Hope this changes soon, Potatolover

Great App (such a unique title!!!)
This app easy to use, clean and aesthetically appealing in its layout. It uses visual learning to help the user master basic vocabulary in conversational Hebrew (not the one used in the torah!! Hint hint). I found this approach helpful albeit it not being my preferred method of learning. If you are a visual learner, this is your language learning app. If not, try it, see if it works. If it doesn’t, shoutout to Busuu, which I personally prefer

This is the best app. It literally teaches you words how to spell them , say them and hear the correct pronunciation!!!! If you wish to build in your Hebrew vocabulary and you know the Hebrew alphabets by heart what they look like and their sound, this app will really propel your learning to the next level. Thanks a million to whom ever created this app. Very super helpful!!!!! Toda raba❤️

Powerful & effective
As a teacher of world languages and a polyglot, I can say this is one of the most powerful language learning apps I’ve encountered. Excellent visual interface, good use of image associations for deepening the retention of words, and fabulous tactile interactions that are clearly patterned and hitting enough repetitions the learner can actually learn. I’d recommend this to everyone.

Works great, hard to distinguish letters
I’m currently working through the alphabet courses, and I keep getting vav and jod mixed up. In the app, the letters are almost indistinguishable because there’s no other letters to judge height by. It would be much easier if jod could be written in a serif font as it would appear in print, so it can actually be distinguished.

Amazing for beginners
I’m new, and converting for my fiancé, and myself, and this is an amazing tool, and you don’t have to pay anything. They give you five minutes a day for free, and if you make flash cards, that can go a long way. I also have ADHD and have issues retaining information, but this program is very user friendly and comfortable to use.

Quick and easy to use!!
Very efficient way to learn a language, would like some kind of search or translation for words, and would also like to learn the alphabet of the languages and how to dissect the language to be able to read new words and pronounce them!! But learning a language piece by piece is super helpful!! Great for speaking it!!

Brilliant so far!
I’ve only just downloaded this app, but it’s layout makes learning very quick and simple! The only thing I might add is a flash-card type function that allows you to look through the words and definitions you’ve already learned to study during sessions. Past that, it’s been brilliant!

Great app! I love that I can wake up and do a quick session when my mind is clear and rested. I’m learning Hebrew and is definitely much more helpful than other apps I’ve tried. Keep it up app developers! I’m going to make an effort to get myself in the habit so then I can upgrade to the lifetime purchase. X

I think this is an excellent way of learning a language. It isn’t difficult to learn any language with this app, because of its basic teaching styles that utilize repetition to help your brain recognize words and phrases, which is ideal for long-term language development. I would highly recommend using this app!

Good set up
I love the app so far! The only thing is if you click beginner it starts with food instead of the alphabet which is a little confusing but it’s not a big issue because it’s easy to navigate to and the food words are transliterated instead of making you feel like you’ve been thrown in the deep end. Very easy setup and great for visual learning

I love it but there is a error?
In the app with the alphabet ך-א, you have bet which is ב as vet which is בּ (you have bet and bet switch around when it’s supposed to be the other way). Overall I love the app and have nothing against it, it’s a great tool to start learning Hebrew.

I just started using this app. So far I like it. Especially because it used TPR as the method of learning. The only thing I’d change is the time. It moves to fast from one lexical entry to a new one. Otherwise it is a fantastic app. I am already inviting more people to download the app and join me. Congratulations to the developers!!

Repetition
Hearing and seeing the words and their pictures over and over again was very helpful. I also found the part when you build the words with groups of letters very helpful. It forced me to read the letters instead of just recognizing the general first letter and length of a word.

Excellent app for vocabulary learning!
Beautiful simple design, easy to use, provides hints just when you might need them, fun, even addictive! It seems perfect for learning individual words and short phrases, especially nouns. Does it have a way to illustrate other parts of speech? I would love to see an option for learning or adding related example sentences to the words.

Hebrew Made Easy
Really like the platform; however, different scripts would be more beneficial to a person learning different forms. Also, one criticism is to use transliterated verbiage, people may get confused with kid, because it is pronounced yod, but someone with little to no experience may pick up a bad pronunciation due to the spelling.

Great alternative learning tool!
I love the associations. A few letter are confusing based on where you learn them but I supposed it is what it is. Would be great to have audible and illustrative matches as well. Example Say something and let me find the word or the picture or else show something and let me find the audible and or written associate.

Options
First day trying it, I like how you have options on what words you can memorize. Example, I can learn how to say fish and it’s helpful because I eat fish every week and write it down on my grocery list. Other apps force me to learn words and phrases I rarely use like having conversations with the mail person about my 1 year old nephew. . .

It might be better than Dolingo
I have been on Dolingo on and off for years and I wanted to learn Hebrew. When I tried it on Dolingo they assumed I already knew the Hebrew alphabet. Very easy to use! Learning Hebrew - I do wish they had a little more explanation, maybe on a separate info page or something, about the difference between some of the letters that sound the same, like Vav and Vet for example... figuring out some of it from the context, but a brief explanation somewhere would be helpful.
