Update with NEW movies and fix the bugs on the app.
I have always loved LMN since I was a teenager. I’ve seen every movie that has played on the network. I have a VIZIO smart TV and watch movies on the app because I don’t have cable. I like that new movies are added every Friday however most of these movies y’all put on here are NOT new. These movies may have been on the app in the past and you guys put them on here again. Again, I have seen every movie that has every played on the LMN.. I ask if you could please start adding actual NEW movies please. Another thing is the app is always lagging, glitching, freezing or buffering in the middle of the movie.
I watch Lifetime Movie Club on my Roku and the movies jump around. For instance you’ll be 10 minutes into the movie and it’ll jump 30 minutes ahead. Or, you’ll be 10 minutes into the movie and it’ll jump 30 minutes ahead then back to 10 minutes, then ahead again then back again. Not to mention the volume completely turning off and having to fast forward or rewind or pause to get it to come back on. And, no, it’s not my Roku because it happens on all of my TV’s that have Roku devices but are very different devices on each TV. Even if there is a problem between Lifetime and Roku then the app shouldn’t be offered on Roku or should be free until the kinks are worked out. I can’t speak to what the app does on my phone or iPad because I haven’t been able to watch on those devices yet. The app is very frustrating and needs to be fixed especially since you charge monthly fees for it. Tubi works perfectly and it’s free so y’all need to step it up Lifetime. Please fix. Thanks.
They have new movies on their site or app but if your tv subscription doesn’t have lifetime you can’t watch the new movies which is why I got the lifetime movie club and they don’t have any of the new ones they air on tv doesn’t make sense those should be added to the lifetime movie club since I’m paying would like to see the new ones like they play on their channel!!! Honestly if you pay for lifetime movie club you should have access to the new movies on their lifetime app. Disappointed cause I’ve missed out on some newer movies and thought the lifetime movie club would have them!! Like hardly any 2019’s and no 2020’s don’t understand why those aren’t on there, probably gotta wait like two years before their finally posted?!? Bummer
If you do not have cable, Direct TV or Dish it is well worth it. But I have Direct TV so there is no reason at all to have it. It just repeats what is on TV. In the future I going to just my Apple TV and get rid of every thing else. Then I will renew. One problem that is also a deal breaker for subscriptions! I was being charged 8% sales tax. My state is 6.5% and I am out of city limits. My address is still the city name and zip as lots of address's in rural areas near the city. There is one click software to tell if in city limits. This translates into big money with say 200,000 subscribers each month.
I still like lifetime and I still watch it constantly, but I don’t like the new app and I don’t think you have enough movies to watch. Lifetime on cable has been on for at lease 25 to 30 years and you have way more movies that you could put on for us to watch, but you keep playing the same ones over and over. I would like to see the good movies you were playing back in the late 80’s and 90’s now those were the good movies I want to watch. I would keep my channel on Lifetime a day long and watch nothing but Lifetime on the television, I would only change it to watch the news. Now that’s when Lifetime fun to wtch. Put more movies and more of the movies that mad Lifetime the best channel to watch.
I am not happy with the changes since the new update. Since LMC has changed the way they do things (no longer a new movie everyday, and other changes) also, changes with app with the new update. It’s so hard now to keep up when a movie is leaving. You have to click on movie to see if it is leaving and then after exiting it takes you back to beginning of movie list. Then you have to scroll all the list again to find where you were. I wish they would go back to the way everything was before. A new movie everyday, beside movie name have the date it’s leaving. And loved the app before this last update so go back to that.
I love this app especially now that it is more widely available on various streaming services. I enjoy the movies very much. However, as someone who uses non-visual technology, it is not the most accessible app in the world. But it is getting better. Also, I wish they would add more movies more quickly. It seems like I’ve seen everything on the list and I’m waiting for more and never see it. I would also like to see more content that is positive. Uplifting, that sort of thing. Love the true life stories!
I can see from past reviews that certain requested upgrades by other users have now been made, which as someone trying this for the free trial week is encouraging. One thing that’s a little frustrating is inconsistency between the iPad app and the tvOS app. You can add movies to My List in the iPad app, but the tvOS app does not have the ability to add movies to my list or even view My List for movies you’ve added in the iPad app. Can you please add the My List function to the tvOS app? Thank you.
Disappointed and isn’t what’s stated when signing up
I’m not sure why this would state 100 movies, when basically 25 is what’s shown for you to choose from. So why state 100??? And to say new & classic is wrong... I’ve yet to see a “classic” on here yet. THIS is $4.00 a month? I could watch them all in like 3 days time. Lifetime used to be our favorite thing to watch. For such a big channel to select a few movies (of THEIR choice, NOT the viewers) and then charge for it, (not to mention advertising 100 movies, and only adding 25), it’s pretty disappointing. I think advertising something that you’re not offering is false and considered fraudulent, to be honest. Pretty disappointed in Lifetime at this point.
I've been a fan of lifetime for a very long time and would stay glued to it all day long back when it was True movie Thursday or something like that and it was filled with all the good 80s and 90s movies. That's my first issue. I would like to see more of those classic movies. Not all this new stuff with bad acting. Still love lifetime though. My last issue is that my app is no longer allowing me to mirror to my tv. I'll start to watch it on my phone then mirror it, but once the picture shows up on my tv screen it will no longer play. Please look into both of these and then I will gladly give a 5 star review.
I absolutely love your app! But can you please add “The Brittany Murphy movie” you have a great selection of behind the headlines movies of true stories involving celebrities. That is an amazing movie & I haven’t watched it in YEARS!!! also can you please add “Virtual Lies” “The Trainer” “The Party Never Stops” I’ve been wanting to watch these movies forever now & I was hoping they would be on here!! They were always on the LMN TV channel! I still LOVE your app!! I’m just hoping for some new movies, but from years ago!
This app really isn’t worth the $$ each month. New movies are NOT added all the time! Many of them are also available OnDemand with my cable subscription, are played on LMN/Lifetime way too frequently or available other places for free. How can it even be a Lifetime movie club and it doesn’t even have a Josie Davis movie or the classic with Tracy Nelson...The Perfect Nanny? You don’t even get a favorites list or anything like that. If you want to save a list of faves the only thing you can do (to keep them in one easy accessible place) is download the whole movie. Which of course takes up space. If free apps can supply a better user experience, I don’t see why a paid app from a major company can’t.
Although I like this app it needs work not enough older movies like from the early 2000’s I don’t know why we have to paying for some of the movies on here when we are paying for the app already. Also I was watching a movie and the it cut out the rest of the movie please fix these issues I want to keep my subscription but things have got to change you all have too many movies to only have a selected few good ones not the new ones you have which don’t make sense at all. You all need to add the good old ones like you had the app needs technical work as well. If you want to keep customers
Update: Technical support was quick to reply and get my issues fixed. They also gave me more time on my free trial to make up for my inconvenience. I downloaded the app, signed in with my lifetime account, it asked me to pick a subscription...I did, it confirmed but that is all it will do. It will not let me even get to the part where I can see movies. I was really looking forward to being able to watch commercial free but I can’t watch anything. 😕
I love the LMN and have had it many years. I have watched Lifetime movies since I was young. My only issue is I sometimes run out of new movies to watch. I find myself watching less and less because of this. Sometimes I put a movie on, excited because it looked new, only to find out 10 minutes later, darn I’ve seen this. Other than that I love the app. No glitches and movies run smoothly on my iPad. More movies please!!!
I like this app, but it definitely needs some fixes. The downloading feature only works on occasion. Constantly gives you errors so it takes forever to download. Also the app does not save your place while you are watching a movie. It starts over from the beginning every time. So annoying. It also is annoying to find movies. It makes you scroll to the right which takes a while, and then if you click into a movie, and go back, it takes you all the way back to the beginning so you lose your place.
The app will no longer work with chromecast. When the casting icon is tapped it just goes through the little connecting animation and the movie will continue to play on my iPad and not the tv. Zero connection or error message. Why can't we have access to old classic 80's lifetime movies like the moment of truth stuff? Honestly, I pay for TV service so I don't need this app unless you provide something that I can't find anywhere else. And I'm guessing the old lifetime app is useless now? What a ripoff. 4 bucks for a handful of crap movies? It's not just old people who don't know any better that watch lifetime!!! I am an old person who does know better. Shame on you.
I love Lifetime, but u guys don’t have to many movies on MovieClub . It seems like u limit the movies on MovieClub. I’ve watched Lifetime since it started. I loved it because ur movies featured strong women getting around life’s obstacles. It really gave me courage to get around my obstacles. I use to watch lifetime all the time. My cable company now charges more to see ur Lifetime Movie channel so I joined ur Movie Club. But ur movies need a 1980 or 1990’s uplift and u need to feature more movies on MovieClub.
I love Lifetime, LMN and the movie club. My only issue is that they send you an email like “Watch Now! The Wrong Bus Driver has just been added!” And I’m like okay, great, I’ll pop it on after work. Then you open the app and “Cheering to Death” is the main focus and you have to go looking for the movie they mentioned in the email. Nothing to cancel the subscription over, but hopefully everything syncs up eventually.
I feel like as we’re paying money to join, we should get all the movies and every movie that comes out. I also think there is not enough time to watch the ones that leave. One week to watch 11 movies is ridiculous. I like the app but they should really change that. Also they should add a continue watching segment like they do with Netflix. I notice they have that on the iPad but not on the Roku. Maybe it’s the way Roku is but that’s what I think. Overall worth the money for the movies.
I love this app and the movies. My only issue is the app will NOT update on Apple TV. I have to delete the app and download it again to get it to refresh. SO frustrating! I check it on my phone for new movies that are added to see if I want to go through the hassle of doing it. Please fix this!
I originally signed up for this subscription to watch Christmas movies at the end of December about a week later all of the Christmas movies were deleted from the site either the movies were year-round movies to watch therefore I have no need for this site because of the movies seem to be about lying dying or crying and I need something more positive in my life. Now that I want to cancel the subscription it is so frustrating that I cannot seem to be able to cancel because lifetime movie club has made it impossible to find the proper way to cancel your subscription never again will I subscribe to lifetime
I’m so disappointed with this app. Lifetime has a gazillion movies and the app is SO limited. I’ve watched just about every movie and it seems like the app is rarely updated with new movies. The app should be updated with different movies twice a month at the very least. Another thing I don’t like about the app is that I paid for my subscription on my fire stick, yet when I loaded the app on my phone, it’s not letting me do anything without paying for the subscription...that I’ve already paid for months ago. Makes no sense at all. Very frustrating.
Every time I try to log into my account it keeps saying the email and password combination is incorrect......and when I try to reset it it’s saying my email is not in their system. Everything worked fine the past week or so, what happened?!!!!! Update: Thank you so much for responding. I appreciate you actually taking the time to do so. 5 stars!
it says it has lifetime classics and new films which is very far fetched being that there are only three ‘classic’ movies and they are all from like 2008 and up. The movie selection is awful and very limited to be considered a movie club you get charged $4 a month. As for new movies they didn’t even have the Anna Nicole movie on here. I grew up watching LMN and Lifetime and had wayyyy higher hopes for this app. They have none of the 90’s classics we grew up watching on the app at all which is quite disappointing. I’m canceling my subscription. I will say they bling ring so that’s nice buts that’s about it. Not worth it!
So after signing up for the subscription, come to find out the movies ARE NOT in the app. They do have movies but they are older movies and even if they are “recent “ they are not the movies that were originally on LMN. If you miss them, you can forget it. It would be nice if they were like TCM. You can watch live TV and they keep movies on their app for a long time too. Also, it’s really nice that all their content is also commercial free. I’ll be canceling my subscription because it’s not worth not be able to watch those movies.
Movies play but continuously through out the movie does it skip or glitch and pause or repeat the scene a couple times. I deleted the app and downloaded it again, checked my service connection and it’s fine it on multiple servers; my home, mothers home and sisters so I can say it’s not poor connection. Process of elimination, the app is just glitching and needs to iron it out since we pay for the service we should be able to actually watch a movie lol
I understand that people were asking for more 80’s and 90’s movies and that is great. However, every Friday now that is all that is uploaded. Shouldn’t it be a mix of older movies and more recent ones? I am slightly disappointed because I got this app & subscription because I fell in love with the Lifetime Movie Channel one day watching it at a friend’s house and I don’t have it at home. So, I don’t mind the older movies some are really great but slowly it’s going to be 100% old movies which is not what I originally subscribed to.
I just read all the reviews and fully have the same issues. LMN is huge don’t be so cheap add back new movies everyday and darn you fix those bugs on the app. Fire the guy who made the last updates. I watch 1 movie every night to relax me but I think I’ve been thru all, I’m forced to see LMN on my Directv?or other sources. Come back!!
The streaming service is very reasonable but the downloading feature is not working on my iPhone or ipad. I have restarted and devices and deleted the app and reinstall it. It still will not work. I know it's not my devices or internet speed because I have other streaming services that have the download feature and they download fast without issue. I'm hoping that this streaming service can fix this glitch with this app.
It says 100+ movies but there’s definitely way less that on the page. Maybe even less than 50. I also don’t like the layout of the app, where the movies are all in one horizontal so you have to scroll to the side to look through them. It’d be so much easier to view all the movies if they were in grid view. I also wish they had them separated into categories because I only see one catergory, then below that “Recently Added” and “All Movies”
Why can I have full access on my ROKU tv without signing into a TV provider for access?? On a Samsung TV I am signed in but STILL DO NOT HAVE ACCESS to any movies until I sign in with a TV provider? So if I only watch shows through WiFi without a TV provider I’m pretty much screwed on my bedroom TV no point in paying for a service that is so inconsiderate to the people paying every month to watch these shows. I might has well get a real TV provider to have less issues with what I’m trying to watch. Thank you for nothing like always
I like the movie choices but there definitely needs to be more classics from the 90’s. My problem is it’s glitchy. 70% of the time I’m logging out to reboot or I’m deleting and reinstalling. Doesn’t matter if it’s my iPhone 7 or 11 or an iPad 3 or 6. Does the same thing whether on wifi or data. It doesn’t save where you are and always starts over if you exit. It’s not expensive but sure would be nice for IT TO WORK CONSISTENTLY! Ugh.
I was paying for a yearly subscription for a few years and this year I wanted to do the same. After having proof thst I had paid for my yearly subscription, it wasn’t allowing me to see the watch like usual. It kept saying I needed to pay again. I contacted the developer and was ignored after showing proof of my payment. No response, no customer service at all. Very disappointing and bad business, but from what it shown they don’t care about their customers even to respond.
There’s also no one to talk with on the app When I open it on iPad. iPhone or Apple TV it says log in and pay but we already have a subscription. What’s going on? It always worked before through apple App Store without having to put in a password. Confused and need help or … drum roll. It’s says it’s paid up till March 23rd. No one gets back to me. Help please.
You know what is great about the Disney+ app? You can pretty much look up any movie from any decade and you can watch it. I wish the lifetime app was like that. Please bring back the classic movies and stop remaking them. The new lifetime movies have ok to poor acting, predictable storylines, and they all use the same basic formula. We need more Kelly Martin, tori spelling, Tracey gold, Judith light, Tiffany amber theisan, etc, adding one or two classic moves isn’t enough. Make a classic lifetime move channel or app, I’d pay for that.
I love the app and there are some great movies to watch but the only issue I am having is downloading the movies to watch offline it tells me “I don’t have enough storage to download” constantly I check my setting and pick a better storage still have the same issue and when I do get it to download when it’s offline it stills cut off!
For months I haven’t been able to watch movie full screen like rotate it by turn to side. Please fix this I’m tired of watch half screen movie. When you press the arrow for full screen it fails to work. Thanks
I JUST started my subscription and tried to watch my first movie and it only worked for 18 minutes and then it would not play anymore. I force closed the app, pulled it back up and every time I press play it does NOTHING. So I tried to download it. That did not make a difference either. My husband is a huge gamer and our internet is top tier. There is no reason this should not work. Disappointing and super buggy. Don’t waste your money!!!
I have paid for the LMN app for several years, and I’ve always wondered why the premiere movies do not get added to the app. As paying customers, we should also be able to have access to the new movies instead of needing a cable subscription. Why pay for an app if you aren’t able to see the new movies as well? Listen to your subscribers and give us what we want. I’m not the only one who feels this way 🤷🏻♀️
I love this app. I watch a couple of movies a day. I have not had any problems with the app at all. It runs smoothly. I do wish that more content could be added. For someone like me who loves to binge watch, I’m running out of things to watch. Please add more variety. Thank you
Lifetime has been my moment of stress relief these days!!! There’s never a dull moment!!! I’ve enjoyed ever single movie I’ve watched from Life time. I don’t have to get offended with foul language and nudity. Thanks Life time for me being able to watch in peace….
Complete waste of money. App doesn’t work on fire sticks or smart TVs. It’s like you have to pay a subscription to another service like Apple TV for instance just to be able to watch on your smart devices. I don’t get it? And forget trying to watch a new movie. You’ll be waiting until your subscription renews again. I feel like they owe me a refund. I’ve watched one movie on my phone and that’s only because I was at the beach and got bored.
I love being able to watch movies on demand! Though as a club member I would really love to be able to watch them from my TV also; hope to see this option in the future!
...and yet so far. There are NOT a lot of movies on this pass, but the app itself is user-friendly and stable. I think it’s a silly model to have a tiny number of films to choose from. Is anyone seriously bored of having volume access from Netflix?? That’s not a complaint. We will still be excited about this if there were more films at all times; let the subscriber choose what they want to watch.

Love the inclusivity. This is the fourth movie I’ve watched just on the lifetime app and I am very happy you don’t feature actresses with all one body type. It’s very refreshing. Worth a subscribe for sure!
I think this app is a scam, I’m tired of seeing the same old movies all the time, what happened to new movies every week?? I will appreciate it if they try as much as possible to update new movies. You just keep seeing the same movies whenever you open the app. You just pay monthly to repeat movies😡😡😡 And they need to improve the app, so you can be able to resume a movie after a pause than starting all over again. This app don’t deserve not even ONE star...
I really enjoy this app and the movies, however they need to add more. I’ve felt like I watched most of them now and I’ve had the app for a year and a lot of the movies are put back more than once since I remember watching them a few months back. I’m going to stick it out for a little longer but may have to stop my subscription.
I love Lifetime movies so I can't rate low. My only complaint is end-user experience. Downloading takes forever (not a WiFi issue as my other apps download movies in minutes). And the scrolling not keeping my place is a nuisance. Other than that, wonderful movies and the interface aesthetic is fine. Just needs more modern navigation.
