I have been using this application for a few years now I have traveled several places in Europe I’ve been to Jordan, Israel and cities in the United States and it is always accurate and easy to navigate. The zoom capability is second to none. It appears to use cell tower to accurately pinpoint your position and thus there is no need for internet or live data, but it works with it as well. Love this app!!!!!!!!
My wife and I are planning a trip to Lisbon and love this app. I like the ability to write notes for each attraction, restaurant, etc. this way we can store what other peoples liked and disliked then use it for our own good
Usually don't rate apps but after a trip to Europe using this offline maps, I can asure you, this app will make your trip easier and you won't miss any important spot in the city. I used London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Venice, Rome, Florence, Barcelona, Madrid and Lisbon! In Budapest I felt lost because they don't have a map for this city but Google also doesn't have a map for Budapest offline. I'll put 6 stars but I can't so 5 it's the closest. One more thing, all this is for FREE! And this is not all, also you can download the information about the historic places in the city and then you can get the info offline. You have to try it!!
What I was looking for was a map that shows both my current position (using GPS) as well as the locations of all the attractions I selected, so I could figure out the best path to see them all. The fact that it can do this offline is a big plus, so I won't be gobbling up my precious data usage when I'm in Europe.
Visiting a city where you don't have internet access? With this app you will not get lost, without having to flash those old fashioned paper maps that advertise your status as clueless tourist... I'm impressed by the level of detail and the search function. Incredibly useful.
This free app has been awesome. When I have wifi, I research places I want to go in Lisbon and drop stars on them. Then I use the map offline to get there - or when we're wandering a new area, I check it to see if any of my wish list places are close by. Strongly recommend!
This App was a game changer for me in Lisbon. It can be used without any wifi access and shows your current position. It works so well is bulletproof. It is way better than having a paper map of the streets. Every city should have this App!!!
Very helpful - save all the places you want to go and navigate without needing to buy data. Only suggestion is I wish it also pulled in info from Yelp.
Works offline so you can search locations anywhere. I used this exclusively while touring Lisbon, Belem, and Sintra. Forget the paper tourist maps, this is all you need.
Having been using since 2014 and it's accuracy has not failed in settings as diverse as Quito, Ecuador to Lisbon to Madrid to San Francisco and New York City. Do not travel without it.
Excelent, mainly because to have the map offline is a lifesaver. My only regret is that you can't trace a route between two points, for instance, from my hotel to The Tower of Belem in Lisbon.
This is not the app for people who want to know what to see. It's for people who want to know what's near them. If you want an app with a list of museums or other sights, you can do much better.
Nice app, nice price; but crashing during use on iPhone 5s and iPad mini (map is ok, tapping a hostel or a bar ok, tapping for a detail - and crash). :( It is an alpha version, you can not use it while walking in the city.
