Little Tikes Cook 'n Learn Smart Kitchen

I downloaded the app and for two sessions, it worked perfectly. I think this is such a genius idea. The next day, I tried to connect my phone to the app and have my son play again, but the sound doesn't work. I have tried now for three days and the sound still does not work. I have checked my settings on my phone, i've uninstalled and re-downloaded the app twice and it still doesn't work! I'm not finding any support or help with this issue either which is really crappy.

My Samsung Galaxy Note 8 won’t connect so I had to use my older iPhone 6 Plus. It only worked for a few minutes before it lost connection. While it was connected I was incredibly disappointed in the app. I expected there to be sound that gave instructions to help my daughter learn associations with items... but all it did was give a checklist of what to do in writing on the screen. Step 1 put the pan on the stove Step 2 put it in the pan (it didn’t say eggs even though we were making eggs... it just said “it” Step 3 turn the stove on When we completed all 3 steps there was no celebration to reward her... just a sticker board to drag a sticker on, but it disappeared before she could use it because it lost connection. Also, the kitchen itself is poorly designed. The plates and other accessories won’t stay on the shelves. They are constantly falling down. And the screw holes for the tablet holder don’t line up properly. I wish we would have bought one of the nicer looking wood kitchens instead of this all plastic piece of garbage. The concept is great... but the execution is a joke.

The only reason I'm even giving this 1 star is because I have to, the toy kitchen itself is wonderful, my kids absolutely love playing with it. But I have tried on 3 different devices to get the app to work, even went through the troubleshooting video on their website, and it still wont work. NONE of the 3 devices will connect to the app, Bluetooth is on, but devices will not connect. The WHOLE point in this kitchen was to use the app with it, which doesn't actually work, I am incredibly disappointed, and will not be suggesting anyone buys this toy for their children. It was a waste of money if my children can't even play with it how it was advertised!!

My daughter likes the recipes but each step checks itself as completed before she can complete the actual step. Moves way too fast through each step.

I bought the Cook & Learn kitchen for my 3 year old boy & he absolutely loves this app. He refuses to play with the kitchen without it. I’m also pleasantly surprised that it’s teaching him new words & about cleaning up. The only request I have is to have a setting that turns the milieux off by default. The music is really annoying. For that reason, I’m giving it 4 stars.

I have an iPad and when I downloaded the app there was no sound. Slide up from the bottom of your iPad to bring up a quick settings screen. Click on the bell with the line through it to turn mute off! The sound will work.

It connected to my iPhone XR one time and after that one time, my phone and other devices will not connect to the kitchen. Another thing is that when following the directions to a recipe, it often didn’t catch us doing the step and have us stuck on one thing.

This app worked maybe 5 times and that was after several attempts to “connect to kitchen”. Now it will not connect at all. Software seems to not be supported any longer, which makes the kitchen that was only purchase 1 years ago, just an overpriced kitchen. First time disappointed in Little Tikes

We've only had the kitchen for a day but already I can see my kids wanting ALL of their toys to have apps. So much fun! Not sure what I'm going to do--I want my iPad back!

I just bought the smart kitchen for my child and when I downloaded the app the sound wouldn't work. I followed the advice on the paper and updated the firmware, it still did not work. I deleted and re downloaded the app and still will not work. Any advice or is it a bug that needs to be addressed?

Mine was disconnecting after a seconds too until I put in fresh batteries. Bluetooth drains a lot of power...

The app worked on 1 iPad mini, and now that that is on it's way it's way out, I have tried several other iPads and it will not connect via Bluetooth. Their troubleshooting section is like something out of The IT Crowd, and nothing seems to make it connect. Little Tykes needs to fix this mess!

My 4yo daughter loves this Kitchen. Note that we couldnt get it to connect to an iPad 2 but it was able to connect to our iPad Air, iPad Mini, and iPhone 6.

This app is great! For those that are having a "no sound" issue make sure your device is not on silent.

You market these toys with what sounds to be a great idea. A kitchen set with Bluetooth to enhance the kids experience. However, your execution is AWFUL. The app doesn’t work, crashes, and is not responsive. Come up with all the excuses you want, this is a terrible job by what appears to be a terrible company.

No sound... ugh. All my settings are correct and have tried uninstall reinstall. Fix the sound

There needs to be an add on you can purchase so this app is usable for people who have an older littletikes kitchen. Ridiculous they want you to spend another $150 when the kitchen we have looks exactly the same except for an iPad holder

We downloaded the app. After buying the kitchen and found out that it does not recognized anything from the Smart Check Out. The Smart Check Out recognized everything from the kitchen.

Not connecting to the app on any of my devices. Tried to troubleshooting did not make a difference, app will freeze on connecting.

Not all features work with iPad 2. Have to let my daughter use my phone, which defeats the purpose.

I have tried to two devices an android and an iPhone and neither will connect...the sounds are working like the faucet and the stove and the light and sound from oven is on but it won’t stop saying connecting on the device.

This app is completely garbage, I spent over $100 on this toy and it is so disappointing. I was so excited for my kids to use it but this app ruined it. This has made me loose faith in little tikes products. How sad!

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and to our disappointment, there is no sound on the app. Is there an update for this issue?

Very disappointed with the app. No sound on devices that actually connect (some devices won't connect at all) and can't update the firmware.

This app crashed every single time we open it. We had to download it a couple of times but that didn't solve anything.

There's literally no documentation or support for getting the technology to work. Garbage all the way through, I'd expect more from middle school kids.

My software is up to date, and I tried re-downloading the app 3 xs and it would NEVERE connect. The kichenette is adorable. This app is not so good.. Let me know when yall get it worked out

Downloaded the app on two different devices. The animation works, but there’s no sound on either one.

I cannot get this app to connect to blue tooth. I’ve tried every recommendation online. It does not connect to my device.
