This is a frustrating app to use; it's not user-friendly at all. For example, when selecting dates, the user does not have the option of choosing a date from a calendar; when a user goes to the Home page, the app does not remember the last entries, so you need to re-enter the airport and date details again. And, the most annoying piece is during booking; when the user is trying to finalize the booking, there is always an error message - either the flight selected is no longer available (which I can understand) or the credit card used is not valid -- I tried two valid credit cards but I kept getting the "invalid credit card" box. Apparently, even if you get the invalid credit card error message, you can still reserve or book your flight; I know this because I received a call from a Mango Tours agent asking to confirm my booking that I made using their app. Needless to say, I booked my ticket somewhere else. As far as I'm concerned, the Mango Tours app is useless and does not deserve any star since it's not functional.
We have been ling-time customers of Mango Tours. We have purchased tickets from their branches and through their toll-free hotlines. But the best booking experience is through this latest app version. Checking fares is very easy and super fast. The new layout of itinerary is very easy to read and understand. Entering passenger information has never been this easy. So for my future bookings, I will surely use this app again and highly recommend it to my family and friends!
The best travel app work in real time, keeping you in the know. Despite all the great travel search sites available these days, Mangotours is one to add to your list. Use it when you need a quick check on airfare for roundtrip or oneway. It is great for exploring fares based on destination.
Price from your app and 800# are not the same.. Bottom line is I PAID $300 on top of what their app price are being advertise ...isn't that false advertise...hmmmm
I like the app and is very simple to use. I just wish you can really book the flight as displayed. The app let you book the flight and even ask for the credit card payment. You then get the confirmation email. After several hours you get another email telling you the reservation was cancelled and giving you an alternative with a much higher fare. YOU GOT ME TWICE!!! NEVER AGAIN I WILL DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!
i use this often to check on their specials. i tried using it last night to make a last minute reservation, but it wouldnt let me. it prompted me to a screen saying "datetime need to be made 7 days in advance" im pretty sure theres a valid reason why it wouldnt let me. but that didnt stop me, all i had to do is call their 24/7 customer service line, and someone there was able to book my tickets. i will be using this app in the future to track my flight. stay tuned..
Needs update. After updating to iOS 6, it crashes. It was working on older iOS software. Other than that, it's a great app to look up and book a ticket!
Awesome app! Easy to use. Allowed me to book a trip for my family to the Philippines. I received a sweet deal on the tickets. My mother-in-laws hinting for me to get her a ticket. Fat chance!
