It took me awhile to jump through the hoops of my first ticket purchase, but I love this app now. Some things should be clarified such as is there handicapped seats for seniors dependent on walkers or just empty space for wheelchairs. There were a few other issues, but now it makes reservations a breeze, and we use it weekly.
What on earth is the point of an app that has less functionality than the mobile website? This just exists to make consumers download another single function app that they forget they have until they try to use the web version and have this slab of badly coded garbage try and fail to load showtimes. And, if by some miracle you can get through to select tickets, the whole interface is broken, and you will need to book the tickets elsewhere. Hey, I get it. Every company has an app now, and they didn’t want to be left out. But if you can’t build an app, or be bothered to contract with someone who can, just don’t have an app! It saves everyone time and energy.
Love coming to this theatre, and usually we have the best interactions with staff—there was someone on concessions who seemed a little surly, but honestly I had trouble pulling the tickets up at first which made things difficult. That being said, everyone else was amazing—Marysol was super helpful, as was the GM, Brandon I think? We came opening weekend for Barbie and were lamenting the lack of promo material for it, since this theatre normally has an abundance! Begging the studios to send more promo items to pose & promote on social media.
This is the best movie theater app out there. You can conveniently order tickets and food after picking movie showtimes at your selected theater. Never had any processing or login issues like with other upscale and regular theater apps. Lods faster than Google for showtimes!
My only theater in Park City, home of the Sundance Festival, is a Metropolitan theater. Down the road a few minutes are a number of nice Cinemark theaters. I support my local in spite of its outdated seating and low end concessions, but their app is substandard too. At Cinemark, joining the app saves you money and time, and offers food and beverage pre-orders and discounts, and the tickets are discounted. Metro? 3 dollar up charge for using the app to buy tickets, no F&B options, and I had to go to Cinemark’s app to see how long the movie is. Times are tough for the industry but, please, Up your game Metropolitan !
I really love the app to get seats, and there is really no other way to guarantee seats so feels like have to do to this way…with that being said it frustrating to pay an additional $5.
I downloaded this app and attempted to purchase movie tickets. I repeatedly received error messages saying my payment could not be processed. My transaction timed out, indicating that I did not purchase any tickets. I then checked my credit card account to ensure that no charges had gone through, but the charges showed up on my credit card. I checked the app again, and it said I had no prior or future purchases. Very disappointing.
I downloaded the app and created an account. Used Apple’s suggested secure password, but the app doesn’t support the keychain API (or doesn’t do it correctly) so my password wasn’t saved. When I try do do anything in the app it either errors, or redirects to the website in the system browser. Why make an app when you keep shifting the user experience to the website? It also asks up front what theater(s) you prefer, but every time you go to buy tickets it once again makes you go through the entire list of theaters. Really needs work. I have yet to be able to successfully buy a ticket using the app.
By the time you choose seats, order food and out in payment , the app times out and you have to start over again. I make sure to have all the info in front of me and still have to reenter once or twice :(
Putting a warning out there. I went to buy tickets for a Saturday showing and the app defaulted it to the same day I purchased them. Went through the refund process and it says it can take 4-6 weeks. Please fix this and make it right.
It’s very frustrating that I can use my points and no one can help or has desire to help. The app doesn’t work to send email. The kids that work there have no idea what to do.
