I do wish the cost was a bit lower. But if you use it often then it’s worth if for sure. Both my 2 & 8 yr old enjoy the content. We have had trouble using guided access with the app so that has been less than ideal at times.
Worth every penny now that I am able to stream the service on all my Apple devices. My family and friends comment on how well my daughter signs and she loves and asks for the videos. Previous versions of the app would crash and the level of effort to log into the website each time (and give others my creds) to get my daughter set up was just not worth it. Now I can set up the login at Grandma’s house on her Apple TV, have it set up at home for when I’m making dinner and my daughter is happy and watching content I approve. Thank you for making the much needed upgrades!!!!
Our daughter has been obsessed with baby signing time since 8 months old. She knows nearly 100 signs now. At 15 months she is stringing together 2 or 3 signs and is very advanced in communication skills compared to other babies her age. This app has given us access to the entire library of signing time videos, which allows us so much more variety and flexibility. Now we can easily pull up signing time on the airplane or at a restaurant on the go. I especially love 2 things about the app: 1) you can download vids to watch offline, 2) you can search through the videos/songs by searching a keyword! Just being able to type “potty” to get the potty song pulled up when we take her to the potty or “strolling ” when we’re going to take her for a walk is so amazing. I can’t thank the signing time team enough for this great app and indispensable learning system. Having real conversation with our toddler is priceless.
We’ve been using it for the last 3 years. Our 1 and 3 year olds love Rachel. It’s the only show my daughter will watch. Rachel’s shows has been a lifesaver when my kids have refused to sleep and we’re up all hours of the night when sick. My 3 year old son learned the alphabet at age 2, and how to spell his name. He knows all the planets of the solar system and the continents thanks to this program. I love that he signs the words he knows when he talks! Both kids just light up and get so happy when I turn the show on for them. Highly recommend!!!

My friend who is an ASL interpreter showed me these about 15 years ago and my then 6 month old could communicate her thoughts that she didn't have verbal words for within about 6 months. It was incredible! I've used them and continue to share them with people. They are perfect for learning to communicate alongside your child or even just as an adult needing to learn to communicate
I started using Baby sign time when my son was about 3-4 months. It was kinda of a little distraction but he always LOVED watching it. Helped me shower and get things ready for day or night time. Now though! He’s signing words at 18 months! I am amazed. He associates things with his other learning and signs. It’s so cool. As soon as I’m A SAHM I will be incorporating this videos into his learning TV. Thank you!
I love singing time it’s one of the only apps I keep and think it’s really worth the money - my 2 year old is smarter then idk what and she doesn’t only say what she wants but signs it or I work from home and if I’m on a call she will sign what she wants so I know. Love the app and what it stands for definitely recommend also AILA is a great early learning love them both!
I bought the digital program for my baby for about $80. You need the app to access the videos . You can download the videos you purchased and watch them in the app without the subscription. Or at least that was back then. Now I can only watch one downloaded video. If I try to watch another it says I need a subscription. What a waste of money. Why should I need the subscription when I already bought the baby signing time program???? Save ur time and money and just buy the DVD’s. Or find another program. This one is just money hungry.
Began use with my own child, came recommended by my best friend who used it with all of her kids. Now a teacher and have used learned knowledge to pass on to my students. Excellent program. I recommend every chance I get on this and everything I love.
I’m a deaf mom and was hoping this app might have more signed stories for my kids (ages 3 and 6) instead of just instructional videos for babies. The signed content may hold the attention span for babies and young toddlers but my preschooler and young elementary kids want nothing to do with it. Everything my daughter (3) wanted to click had no signing (Treeschool and Bumble Bree)… we ended up cancelling our free trial and deleting the app. This isn’t “the one.”
Not only is this a wonderful, organized and comprehensive app…they also email you proactively BEFORE your subscription charges you. All the more reason to love this whole educational system we have grown with since our 6 year old’s birth!
Rachel and her signing to help children learn was such an amazing idea. Learning while music is incorporated is such a harmonious thing. The songs are super catchy and the singing is so easy! Your children will love the songs and love to learn their signs!
My almost 2 yr old knows almost 50 words and we sign all the time. It has helped her to learn how to start talking. My only thing is for you guys to update the videos with better graphics. For example the signing time classics.
We love signing time!! It has helped my toddler better communicate with our family and has helped us all start on the journey of learning a new language!
I loved the app when the main focus was signing. With the three schoolers and all the extra videos it became overstimulating for my child. And the signing content got diluted. He knows how to navigate the explore part of the app, so he is just jumping from video to video. Perhaps an option can be offered to limit the available videos to the child based on parental choices.
I love this app on my iPad and iPhone. However I am very disappointed I didn’t review before if it would work on a kindle fire. I purchase a Kindle Fire 8 for my child and I did not realize it doesn’t support my signing time app. You would get a 5 star if it would work on a kindle. Please make it happen. I love your material and will only renew if it works on the kindle. On another note……… I started my child at 6months and now 20months. Loves it! And I love it. Thanks
The content is great. I used for my twelve year olds and now my 10 month old. I use to be able to airplay into tv versus giving my daughter the phone. I hope this gets fixed bc other than the inconvenience of not being able to airplay I would give a higher rating
Thank you for the upgrade!!! I love the whole SigningTime series, all four of my kids have signed before they turned one and what a life saver! I’m looking forward to watching some of the shows for older kids as well.
We love signing time! The updated app is easier to navigate. However I do not like that it automatically starts the next episode. It makes it hard to ensure that my son doesn’t watch more than he is supposed to. Also miss the bonus features! It has also frozen multiple times and doesn’t always load.
Thank you for updating the app! I can now use chrome cast to stream from my iPhone. Everything is so much smoother now! My 2 year old twins absolutely love all your content!

Thought it seemed a little dated at first. However, my baby likes it and it’s teaching him signs. Highly recommend in a world of so much television junk food for toddlers.
This helped my little one communicate early in her development and it made life a lot easier when she was able communicate what she wanted. Love this program.

I’ve purchased a few of the dvds and I’m supposed to have access to digital copies as well, I even participated in the sentences kickstarter. Now my account has been deleted with the new update. I’m going back to purple player, it’s the only app that they’ve used that consistently worked. None of their branded apps have been good.
Forget Ms. Rachel, Rachel Coleman is the real deal. So great for learning sign and improving communication. I attribute my 2yr olds amazing communication skills to signing time.
New version is not user friendly for children. Videos are harder to play and exit out of. Content removed and lots of smaller clips added. Christmas videos removed! Super disappointed!!!
After many attempts to get this to work on my phone or tv I’ve given up. I click on a title to watch and it just won’t play. We do love signing time, baby signing time, and the treeschoolers.
I’ve contacted this company several times to cancel my subscription, but have not gotten a response yet and have now been charged for the last 3 MONTHS!!!! NOT HAPPY!!!
