I like the new enhancements of being able to check off movies that aren’t airing and have passed. However, with the “Also available on Up Faith & Family” orange border enhancement the green check marks for watched movies disappear when looking under the upcoming movies and discover tabs. This makes it hard to tell which movies I have and have not watched at a quick glance.
I’ve had the app since I first heard of its existence and I do appreciate all the improvements made thus far. One complaint I have lately though is that if I mark something as “watched,” that label disappears when the movie leaves the app. When the movie reappears, everything resets. So for instance, I marked one movie from the summer as watched, it went off-air during the winter Christmas movie season, and was no longer visible on the app. The same movie is showing up again in the app because it will be airing again in January in the “upcoming”section, but it does not have my “watched” mark on it anymore. You would expect it to have the little check mark on it still since I marked it as watched in the summer. I guess it is frustrating that the whole reason for using the app, to record what you watched and want to watch, only half works. With so make great movies, I do use the tracker to keep track of what I’ve already watched. So, it’s annoying to know that when a new batch of movies comes back around, I won’t know if I saw them or not, because they reset my selections. Next Christmas will be especially confusing with the 30ish movies i watched this year resetting. I hope that makes sense!
First of all, let me say that I like the improvements made to this app! We can now mark that we’ve watched movies, set them as favorites, and set reminders in our calendar to watch. A couple things that I wish were different: 1. It would be nice to be able to mark movies as “want to watch” or something so that they’ll have an icon on them to remind me when I’m going through the list. I am not interested in watching all the movies, so it would be nice at a glance to see what upcoming movies I was interested in seeing. 2. I wish the movies didn’t go off the app. Currently, the only movies on the app are the ones that are upcoming in the next couple weeks. Once they’ve aired, if they’re not airing again for a while, they are removed from the app. But if I’ve set things to record, sometimes they’re already off the app by the time I go to mark them as watched. I think it would be nice to add a section for all movies. Then you could still have a section for upcoming, but all the movies are always available to look at.
I previously left a review titled black screen asking if anybody else was having problems with the app closing out and giving a black screen. Evidently nobody else is having this problem because no one responded. But the developers of this app haven’t responded either. I deleted the app and tried to re-download it, but it won’t re-download. The app in the App Store only allows me to open the app. When I do that it does show all my movies that I’ve watched still check marked and any new movies I haven’t seen are not checked. But after I tap on a couple different movies I’m back to the problem I had when I had the app on my phone, and the screen goes black on me again!! At this point I am very frustrated with having to go all through this effort to keep up on UP movies. So at this point I am unable to get the app back on my iPhone, and have to go to the App Store to “open” the App to briefly see the movies coming up before the screen goes black. 😳☹️😖
This app is a good way to preview upcoming movies. I like that it shows the day and time of the next showing and that I can set reminders for the movie I want to watch. I wish the description included the cast members and if the movie is based on a book or screenplay. I’d like a calendar page showing the upcoming schedule with links to movie description.
I can no longer login using my account information. I have 2 email accounts and I have reset the password on both multiple times. This happened before when there was an update. Clicked on the app support link, but it wasn’t helpful at all. Why haven’t these issues been resolved? It’s been over 4 months since this app stopped working.

They keep saying there is an update for the app yet nothing changes it still won’t work properly I log in and immediately it pops up like it should work and then nope it goes back to the login page why this app won’t work is annoying I had all my watched movies marked and now I can’t access them it’s frustrating there is no one to report this to so your left leaving reviews on here
So, thought I'd give this app a try on looking for an UPTv list of ALL their movies. What a disappointment! It's only showing NEW movies that came out, or will be out this year? No, Christmas titles at all? No, other titles!? I saw around ten titles all new for 2022 only!? Plus, scrolling is atrocious within the app. Guess I'll be uninstalling and looking elsewhere for a full list of their movies. Even their website doesn't have that. What a bummer!
It's a good way to track the movies. I only have two suggestions. I would like to see numbers appear for the unwatched movies. Also, I would like to have the ability to acknowledge each movie watched. Thanks!
The latest update shows which movies are available on Up & Family, but now those movies (with orange border) don’t show which movies have been watched with green check mark on the main Upcoming Movies screen. You have to click on the movie to go to another screen to reminded if has been watched already. Please fix. Thanks!
The up faith and family app is great one of the best family movies streaming services good 4K quality on mobile and tv and not that expensive too if I had to pick between getting $55 in cash or this I would pick this I highly recommend this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ HAVE A GREAT DAY
I got the app so I could keep track of movies I watched. I just watched a movie on UPtv and wanted to mark it as “watched” but I can’t find the movie on the app. I used the search button, typing in the exact title and it returned “no results.” This has happened many times now. If you show a movie, it should be on your app. Take a lesson from Hallmark app. It is so much more user friendly.
The app is getting better but it gets hung up when I am putting reminders, I have to shut down the whole app and start over. I also can’t tell if I have watched a movie or not unless I open it. It would be nice if it was 1 click to put reminders for all new premiers.
I love the fact that I can now “check off” movies that I’ve watched. What I’m not loving is that movies seem to disappear after they have aired. I can’t “check them off” when I can’t find them. They don’t even come up when using the search function. Why exactly aren’t all UPTV movies in a searchable database???
This app allows you to see movies you want to watch. However, after watching them, you are unable to search and find the movie you just watched. The only way to do that is to watch the movie the same day you record it. Take a look at Hallmark’s App. You are able to find and mark watched on most movies (up to about 95 % or so). While there app isn’t perfect, yours has a long, long way to go!!!
Every movie title I click on this app is a link to a completely different movie! What a piece of junk app! I suspect that perhaps they don’t keep the app updated, and the shows they display were showing some previous month or week. The links then go to the new movies that are upcoming, and so the titles displayed are out of sync with what’s actually coming up.
Finally! The app shows me all the upcoming movies on UP, date & time, previews, and I can set a reminder, download to my calendar, share, and even see what channel wherever I’ll watch from. Love it!
I signed up three days ago on uptv, but still can not watch a movie. I think I’ve learned that I can only watch if I also sign up to watch on another network. This was never mentioned when I signed up nor did it explain how to do this. The channel looks good with up lifting shows but impossible to get connected.
Ever since they added the boarders to indicate that the movie is available on the Up TV streaming service, you can’t see the green checks that indicate the movie has been watched. Please modify the layout so this is visible again!
So many movies so little time! This app helps me find the movies I’m interested in seeing during the holiday season and reminds me when they’re running. App is easy to navigate as well!

Love the list of movies that are out. Just wish there was a way to check off which ones I’ve watched so at a glance you can see what movies you need to still watch. Other than that it’s great!
I love watching heartland they have trivia when I submit my answer it says something went wrong try again. I keep doing it over and over again but it still doesn’t work. Help please
I received the update but it won’t let me in my account. I tried to reset password and did not receive a link. I created a new account; however, I lost all the movies I marked watch. Is there anything we can do to fix this problem? Very frustrating to loose years of data.
All my previously watched and checked movies disappeared. I’m only seeing Christmas movies on app. Previous version included the year movies first aired; movies no longer include the year. I was able to view movies in both portrait and landscape modes. Now I’m only able view in landscape mode.l
Like that you can check off the movies you have watched. Would be nice to add all the new movies to your calendar at once instead of going to each movie and adding one by one.
Works well for what it is. The developers should add a feature to check off if you’ve watched a movie - like a competing popular channel that has a Checklist app.
I have downloaded and signed into this app about 50 times and it looks like it loads, but the screen flashes goes back to the login screen…every single time. I simply cannot login and stay in the app no matter what I do. I am deleting it and giving up on UpTv.
I LOVE UPtv’s movies and especially Christmas movies! This app lets me find my favorites from Christmas past and what’s sure to become faves grime Christmas present!
I reset my password and was hoping the UPTv app would work after the latest update. The app didn’t recognize my newly reset password. I plan on deleting this app, since it doesn’t always work, even as a guest. What a disappointment.
Please fix the login issue! I have updated and it still acts like you’re logged in, but then goes back to the login screen!! I enjoy this app, well use to enjoy this app, and even would use it more than Hallmark!! Please fix!!! Thank you!!
How many times do I have to log in for this app to actually work? Every time I log in the log in page pops up again. My log in information is correct so I know that’s not the problem. This app refuses to work for me, so I can’t use it.
It would be great if you could mark the movies you’ve watched or want to watch like the Hallmark app. Right now the only option is to mark favorite or not.
This app was working but now when you go to open it all it dies is flash and closes. Do you have a way to keep track of watched movies any other way? Thx
My friend told me to try this app out that allegedly you could watch shows and movies that aired for free if you don’t have cable we’ll I got the app and all it is is just a glorified tv guide for the channel very disappointing
It was working fine until the latest update. If it’s a compatibility issue then the app info needs updating as it still claims to be compatible “on this iPad”.
I’m on the most current version 2.02 and I am having a few issues with the app. The first is when searching for a movie, despite typing the movie title in exactly word for word it will often not pull up the movie. In order to find movies in situations like this I have to go to upcoming airings which is fine, a little inconvenient but manageable, however if the movie isn’t airing in the next few days then I can’t find the movie at all sometimes. The BIGGEST issue I have that is super frustrating is when setting reminders for movies it puts them in my calendar twice and outs them on multiple days the movie airs instead of marking it on just one day (should be the next showing date) and only putting it in there once. I just had to remove each movie (there were a lot) that were listed twice on the same date and time then they were listed at least on 3 more future air dates. If I delete one of them from my calendar then they both delete. Along with that issue, if I turn off the notifications for movies in the UPtv app, it will not remove them from my calendar even though I turned off the notification for that movie. Also I wish the app had better organization overall. Like the search is in the middle of the screen rather than at the top, when it comes to movies airing it would be nice if it had an original air date then list replay dates/next airing dates next to it as you don’t know this information unless you click on each and every movie. I would also like to see just premier movies in one spot and not combined movies that have already aired. This would make it easier to know what’s a new movie rather than needing to scroll to find all the premiere movies. Lastly I wish there was a specific checklist you could click on to mark what you’ve seen or not. Again the only way to know is by clicking on the actual movie.
Every time I update the app, I am unable to login and I have yet to hear from the developers of the app to help me figure out how to get back into my account.
