I really wish there was a function to add custom reminders for classes so I wouldn't have to program them into my calendar. Otherwise... This app is really well put together, and its awesome that you don't have to log in every time you open the app to get your schedule. The link to Google maps for buildings is also amazing.
I got this app just to check it out, but honestly it’s easier to just pull out my laptop. This app doesn’t even let me send canvas messages or see my inbox of that! Every time I use it, it’s slow, and misses some of the tabs available when you are using a tablet/laptop. For example, my physics class has the syllabus under “pages” which also includes the lectures notes, however this app doesn’t even have the “pages” tab so what is the use of this app?
It's a set up buttons that when you press them takes you into a browser tab that isn't even always scaled correctly from left to right. It provides no benefit over just typing the website into chrome or Safari on your iPhone. Best part is the map, so hey, if you're visiting or a first-year, you're in luck!
The app glitches and doesn’t let you log in to see your academic materials (the only real useful feature for students). Please don’t get our hopes up and release an app unless it actually works please.
Every time I want to check my schedule, or do anything on the app, it required duo login every single time. Data loading is really slow, it would be better if schedule data could be cached on device. For now, going to MyUT from a web browser is much more responsive and fast compared to the app.
This is a godsend compared to the disaster that was the previous UT app. This app has a ton of actual functionality and looks to be a one stop shop for UT students needs.
I only use this app to check my schedule and it will not open!! I have to delete the app every time and redownload it just to get it to work. The app didn’t used to do this so I hope they fix this soon!!
Half of the time I try and access the features in the app, it just freezes. I have deleted and re downloaded the app multiple times and still no change in its lack of functionality.
This app is pretty sub par. It’s clunky, pages don’t load, and the information isn’t always accurate. It doesn’t show my class schedule accurately (no classes showing up when I’m currently enrolled in several). I just use the website version instead bc this has never been helpful.
For a school that makes several hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, the least you’d expect is an app that lets you see your course schedule, but they couldn’t even do that right
App barely loads any data. If you get it to open (which is rare) it doesn’t load any of your information. Better to just use myUT online or canvas app. Please fix this for UT students.
