While the food is great, the app needs work. The text is too small, it doesn’t respect system text size. The font is also very lightweight on top of that, making it harder to read. This makes navigating, ordering and everything else more difficult than it should be. Orders could be streamlined with fewer pages to tap through to get to checkout. Again, finding the typeface could enhance readability here and speed the process up too. There are too many screens, the text is too hard to read and it is easy to miss things. Redeeming a reward is harder than it should be. It ends up that I have to add a new item to my cart instead of just discounting the one already in there. This adds at least 3 more screens to the order. The app doesn’t remember that I always use Apple Pay, instead it presents a credit card screen by default. The text in the receipt is also hard to read. There should also be either a map screen or link to the address of the store for navigation. A progress meter letting customers know when the order is ready would be nice too.
Any chance to add gyro bowls to the 300 point tier rewards? That is exclusively what I order from Nick the Greek due to it being the healthier option with more veggies and less fries/carbs from the pita
So happy that Nick The Greek now has an app! The free 300 points just for signing up is icing on the cake. Super clean interface and easy-to-use. Can’t wait to start racking up points!
Told me to download the app for a free pita. Couldn’t use it the first time per employee. Went back into the app after I bought the pita and saw the 300point bonus or one pita was taken away from me and I’ve emailed about a week ago and still 0 response. Also $300+ for a $10 reward? It’s pretty bad
I’ve been there twice now and had them scan my phone and my rewards balance still shows zero. None of my points for my previous purchases are there. Pretty disappointing app so far.
Never received free gyro, it was there and then it wasn’t one day. Also I had 399pts to use and I just went and purchased a bowl. Now my account has 44pts and I didn’t receive anything for free? What happened to my 399pts?
Here is a loyalty app that gives a QR code for scanning in store. HOWEVER- stores don’t have QR readers! Nice work, fellas. Cashier had to cancel my cash purchase and I had to spend another 5 minutes at a table reordering AGAIN. And instead of paying cash had to use some sort of digital currency. Had a standard customization that needs to be put into a free form notes field on the app instead of just a checkbox. At the end of the day after all that I earned 1 point per dollar, so $11 on a bowl. So to earn a free gyro it’ll take about 30 visits at $10 apiece. Probably not worth the bother of keeping this on my phone, not generous and so much simpler to pay cash at the counter and tell them what I want and how to make it.
