OK, the commercials are crap, but, again, they are on a par with the daytime TV stuff shown with OTA programming and I can deal with that. What makes the streaming video unwatchable is an extremely annoying and LOUD 10 second loop played when there aren’t enough commercials to fill the break time (at the time of this review 8-10 repititions). If I am absolutely determined to watch, I kill the sound until the program begins again. This means I’m not listening to any of the paid advertisements at all. Usually, though, I just exit the app and try to understand why I haven’t deleted it yet. update: the @#$%! commercials and the annoying chanting have been eliminated, MUCH better. Still a few minor bugs, but all in all a distinct improvement.
I don’t have the app on my phone, however I do have it on my tv. And after reading the reviews on here, I’ve come to notice that it’s got the same issues. First of all the app crashes randomly. You can’t pause without it crashing. I swear if you breathe wrong it crashes. Second, it’s super buggy. It lags. And if it lags during the 5 ads, you better be prepared for a whole new set of ads… even if you had twenty seconds of the last ad left to go. Third, WHY ARE THE ADS SO LOUD?! I have to mute my tv. I have my tv set to pretty low volume because my boyfriend is asleep in the next room. I got jumped scared by an ad. It’s so loud that there’s no point in turning it down. You might as well mute it because turning it down defeats the purpose when you can’t hear when your show comes back on. And last, why is it every time I pause (if I’m lucky enough it doesn’t crash) does it have to play 5 ads? And then after those 5 ads, it plays three more as soon as the show starts. And the ads will be the same one or two stuck on a loop because they don’t have anything else to play in those slots.
It’s way too many commercials. Also when you pause for a long time and click play it starts playing then will jump straight to commercials. When you fast forward commercials will play none stop. It will say 5 commercials and then freeze and do another set of 5 commercials. I’m like dang you really need this many commercials. As I’m writing this review I have nosey playing on my TV and I just watched my 5 commercials and then it started to play the show and then it jumped to another set of 5 commercials and another set. So in total I watched 15 commercials and no show! You guys really should do an option of paying for no commercials like other apps. Also get better at downloading new episodes. Cause this is getting ridiculous! Honestly the app seems more for commercials than for shows! I hope you guys actually listen to these reviews.
Update 3: They’ve removed the new stuff section. Are we supposed to guess now? Update 2: Love the updated look and feel. BUT are we going to get more content? It’s been well over a month and additional episodes have been added. Update: I really hate the new app update. You can’t see what’s new, even when you click on the link because it only shows the Nosey logo and the title of the episode. How are you supposed to know it’s new and how can you tell what show it is? Also you can hardly move the items to see what else is there. Plus, I created an account but when I requested a new password I received an error message. You should revert back to the old version, it works much better. ********************************************* The update looks nice, but you have to constantly find your place if you get out of the app and you can’t tell when new items have been added.
I like this app, I really do. But there are too many days when the home archive just won't load at all. I like to listen to Maury at work and maybe two or three days out of any given week, I have to make do with the repeating episodes on the live TV side because the archive is unreachable. Sometimes deleting and re-DLing the app fixes it, but not often. I would love it if the archive was more reliable.
I understand that media needs sponsored advertising, but There are a few things wrong with this app besides the ads. There are a few things I like, which will also be mentioned. 1. If you scroll by mistake, the commercial on the next thumbnail forces you to watch that accident so you can’t scroll back to what you were originally watched. 2. Everything is in a scroll format! I liked exiting and entering each video on an individual basis where it can be seen without any accidental scrolling. 3. The advertisements repeat over an over. When you go BACK to show and try to begin where you left off, the advertisement comes on as soon as you find your place back in the video and starts over as if you didn’t even forward the video ahead What I do like is the accessibility of Steve Wilkos who is my favorite person and watching him has always given me fresh perspective on society and the world we live in today. This is the only reason I have the Nosey app! I also like that’s it’s much crisper in the video and the audio is nice too. I just get turned off watching Nosey due to the other problems above.
The Ad’s are ridiculous! I understand that they are needed to keep your site free.. however, they are extremely excessive and very annoyingly interruptive!! Cannot enjoy our faves without an Ad interrupting every darn Two minutes or so! Also!, you definitely need to add more NEW episodes more OFTEN! I am a huge fan of many such as “Steve Wilkos”:ect, but it has been almost two months that you have added anything new..and that is on all talk shows!! 😡really quite disappointing especially when you finally find a free App with all your favorite daytime talk shows or reality TV shows.. Would have definitely been 5***** .. when this gets better, I’m sure you’ll immediately get thousands of 5*****’s and thousands of new viewers!! DISAPPOINTED! 😒
I am only watching this app to watch the People’s Court. I can’t find anyplace else to watch it. Nothing else is what I would watch. But it seems like they keep playing the same shows over and over, even tho there are over 20 years of the show to play. And the most annoying are the pauses where it sits with a count down and the most horrible music playing. If there are not going to be commercials then why the pause? Just keep playing the show. I do not understand. As I type one of the stupid “Keep watching Confess” is playing their countdown now. Makes me want to change it for good.
Does not work half the time and too many dumb commericals
While I appreciate the great shows that Nosey has to offer and I do enjoy watching them, however there are way too many stupid commercials that come on too often then regular TV in my opinion. Sometimes while the host is talking the site will cut it off in the middle of what they are saying to go to a stupid commercial. Also, when you click on the Nosey App sometimes it will not open the app. The stupid downloading circle that comes on will stay on for a long time. I hope Nosey will fix these issues soon because really it’s annoying!! Thanks!!
I noticed on the IPad you get the option to skip commercials. You don’t get that option on Apple TV. You actually get more than double the commercials on Apple TV than if you watched it on the iPad. It would be nice if they offered a monthly subscription with no commercials. I would pay for that. I won’t do any business with the advertisements on this app. There was a recent App update on 7/25. Now the app randomly goes blank during commercials and you have to restart the show. Also, they occasionally play a commercials and the tv show at the same time. Don’t do an update that breaks everything. Hopefully they roll back to the original stable version of the app.
I realize we need the ads to make it free, but the amount of ads are insane. I have to watch 5 commercials before the video, I’m now 2 minutes in (literally) and have to watch 5 more. Sometimes the commercials won’t even load and I have to close it and watch the same commercials over again to restart the episode. I would rather pay a small monthly fee without ads. There’s also not enough Steve episodes. I’ve seen every episode on here at least 3 times or more, and I’m not even on here that often. Also, the filler clips during breaks “is it true? “Is what” “yes I’m sleeping with your boyfriend” *catfight* with that god awful baseline is the worst
I tried to watch an episode of Steve Wilkos. After every commercial break, the episode would go back to the beginning and I would have to fast forward to where it had left off. I was watching a 2 part episode and there was a large portion of the show missing from the first episode. When I started the second part they were showing things that had happened in the previous episode that were not shown. I tried to go back to the first episode to see if the app had messed up and cut part of it off, but every time I tried going to the last 10 minutes, it would make me watch 5 more commercials. This app needs a ton of work.
I previously left a review with 3 stars because chrome casting was removed from the app, but it was still ok. It was updated and had it added again so I changed my rating to a higher number, but something has happened and now casting is gone again. It never remembers my login information so I have to log in each time and now the ability to cast is gone. These updates aren’t consistent and my app is up to date. Whoever actually works on these things, is it possible to keep some of the features you advertise in the latest update are there? Consistency is key. If it wasn’t for me enjoying my white trash shows, I wouldn’t even fight with this app anymore.
It’s been a long time since any new episodes for any of the shows to be added. The only thing that I see that’s new is the tv option and the increase in ads. I seems like ads interrupt every 3-5 minutes. I have contacted Nosey with no response months ago and this is the second Review I am leaving here. At first I really liked Nosey, now with no new episodes and just replaying the same episode over and over again I have lost my joy in watching Nosey. 😞 I hope there is new episodes and less ads soon to come.
This show allows people to show compassion without feeling bad. He can talk people into exposing hurt from their childhood. It’s good to see family reunited. I almost wrote off this show. He missed a good point. A woman was allowing a Caucasian couple to adopt her son. He was clearly BLK child. She kept her children that were mixed. Did she do that as not to deal with her son’s color? I wasn’t right. He catches everything else.
This is an updated review for a very much improved app. They did a great job with this now with much improvement. If you tried it before you might want to give it another go. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 To the coders and analysts. Even more recent review. I was wrong. 😢 Still same sound issues but seem less by a too small amount. I will stop using this again and I'm sorry. 😢
I’ve had the app for about a year now and I really like it. It’s nice to finally watch older episodes of my favorite shows, Jerry and Maury. But they need to add more episodes. I look every now and then to see if they added more stuff but so far, none. Other than that, I do enjoy this app. I just wished they added more episodes.
So the resume button (at least for me in the Steve Wilkos show, not sure about other channels) isn’t working, it takes me back to what I was watching 3 episodes prior. The ads are getting ridiculous again too. When I sign back in and get back into the episode, it picks up right before the ads come on, not where I left off. Then before the show break, ads, episode starts up for 30 seconds then ads again not sure if it’s a system bug or what but it’s really annoying.
I love the content of the app and the shows on here. I love the options, but I don’t know why there’s a red notification number there constantly. I updated my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app, and it disappeared for two minutes, but then it came back. What notifications am I supposed to find?
The app is alright, but needs some improvements. For one, I don’t like having to play an episode in order to see the description. Wish you could just see the description beforehand. Also, I don’t mind the ads, but the ads are SO much louder than the actual shows. I have to constantly turn the volume up and down or mute the tv when the ads come on. Wish that could be fixed.
While I do love The Steve Wilkos show I really dislike this app! When I watch on a Streaming device the app often stops during play, so you have to exit then resume the show. This happens over & over & FREAKN OVER again! So once u get past that issue THOSE incessant commercials start! I swear that Samsung commercial plays 5-8x IN AN ANNOYING ROW! If I watch on my iPad shows clips of Jerry, Steve n Maury, not commercials, for what seems like 5 minutes constantly Looping “JERRY JERRY JERRY”!! I would love to be able to watch a complete episode without excessive commercials & constant interruptions.
Too many ads. Not enough new episodes for me to watch everyday. I am only here for STEVE WILCOS, of course thats the show u people dole out in tiny rations, but if u love stupid jerry or MAURY FOR GODS SAKE or either of the two british hosts u r in luck. 11 seasons of steve and on the whole of the net a total of like 20 full episodes show up on everything. The SAME episodes... sigh
I love watching the Maury show and I don’t have cable tv. This app literally saved me from paying another app to watch one tv show when I could use this and pay nothing! There are advertisements but, for me, only during intermissions. In conclusion, I recommend this app to people who like talk-shows!
There’s ads but i don’t think they’re excessive. It’s about the same when I watch it on actual TV. My only complaint is there isn’t any way to track what episodes you’ve actually finished. I don’t know how this isn’t a feature when almost ALL media viewing apps have this? Please add this simple feature.
I like this app and I understand that you all need to have advertisements to pay bills but the ads are beyond aggravating. They are too often and it’s ALWAYS the same one back to back to back. Can we at least get a variety of ads?
Just downloaded an hour ago and the app keeps freezing I keep shutting it down and re trying and tried clicking different videos and nothing is working correctly and it’s kind of frustrating I can only get past the commercial and so far that’s the only thing I’ve been able to watch then as soon as it switches to my video it’s not playing I have Verizon fios WiFi and I have a brand new iPhone 6s So I know the problem isn’t in my end esp after reading just a few of these reviews..
You need ads, I get it. Make that money. But why are the ads so slow to load? It’s very inconsistent. It made me watch 25 ads once, before I just turned it off. It glitches a lot. It’s like the period of ads could be cut in half if the ads would just load. Also, it will show a segment of the show up to the climax, then there will be a commercial break, and it will never return to the same part.
I’ve been searching forever for the classic Jerry Springer and Maury episodes. I completely forgot about this app until I saw it on TV a few days ago. The ads aren’t that bad and they’re adding other classic TV shows as well. Now if there was only a way for me to connect it to my TV...🤔
I love this app. It has literally all my favorite shows. I have an occasional issue with the spinning loading circle not going away, and I wish you could change the quality of the video so I could watch it on my phones data plan. Other than that this app is amazing. Wish they would add more old Steve Wilkos shows! I miss them.

I’m watching a Steve Wilkos show and at one point the ads kept kicking in 2 of 2, 4 of 4, 2 of 2 over and over and over and I couldn’t finish the show. I understand the ads to keep it free but I want to be able to finish an episode! Maybe give a pay option
I love this app but the new update is chock full of glitches and just annoying things. Can’t rewind or ff without it being a 5 min affair. If I happen to accidentally swipe my screen in any way while watching a show, it’ll switch to the next episode. Annoying. Great app overall though and you can’t go wrong with free.
This is a good app but they are missing jenny Jones from back in the day! She had tons of wild teen episodes with Raymond Moses that I would love to see again. Also, missing a lot of older Maury wild teen episodes as well. I’m pretty sure nothing will happen but i wanted to leave a review. Let’s see what happens.
This joke of an app has been out for 5 years with barely a fraction of a fraction of wilkos episodes uploaded. Oh but they sure do make certain to keep the advertisements updated. Thanks, guys, you’re the man. I owe ya one! If you think wilkos episodes would be on peacock you’d be right. And the selection worse than nosey! I don’t know who programmed or designed this app but their education and talents have been woefully misused by the overlords of the video library. I’d file a complaint with osha lol

While I’m a huge fan of watching the various shows Nosey provides, the app does have it’s glitches. Some of the episodes, even though show they are available, do not play. It’s just a black screen and then it will move on to a different episode. I have also encountered times where ads will play after 3 seconds in one sitting for some episodes, which is strange and can be quite frustrating. Hopefully the developers could fix these glitches, because I’m sure if I’m facing them, other users might be also. Other than those issues, it’s an awesome app!
It’s been months since Nosey has added any Steve Wilkos episodes! The Steve Wilkos Show is the only reason I watch Nosey and I wish they’d put ALL of seasons 1, 2, 3, and like 8, 9, 10, etc. It would be great to have something to watch during this quarantine! Please start updating Steve Wilkos more often then I’ll change my 3 star rating to 5 stars 😁
UPDATE!! I received a response to my original review saying the ability to use Chromecast would be restored in the next update. Well, last update was a few days ago. I reinstalled app and STILL NO ABILITY TO USE CHROMECAST VIA APPLE. Guess I’ll stick to Pluto, since Nosey doesn’t stand by their word. BOO to the new update! The entire app is different, but more importantly I don’t see how to cast to Chromecast?? Am I missing something? Unfortunately this app will be deleted if I can’t cast it. Bummer, because I love me some Jerry.
I enjoyed watching the episodes in order. I could start an episode when I was ready, pause, skip to the next episode. Now it’s like live TV, except without a pause button. So if something interrupts me, I miss out on the show and they don’t start on my schedule. At least give me the option of live TV or past episodes.
This app used to work amazingly! Then all of a sudden you’ll start an episode and an ad will start playing at the exact same time. When the ad finishes the episode won’t play.... also I can longer stream from my phone to my TV which I used to be able to do... very disappointed, and I hope it gets fixed soon.
This is literally one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. Ads are ridiculous!! I understand ads are necessary for free streaming apps but the amount of ads is absolutely ridiculous!! Why is there 6 ads every 5 mins?!? God forbid, if you try to fast forward or rewind your program, it doesn’t matter if you just watched 3-4 ads, you will get 4 more. I love watching my fave daytime talk shows but the ads make it unwatchable
I don’t know why people are complaining of advertisements. Their much shorter than commercials and very few of them. I’ll watch it here before I will watch it on cable. Thanks for the app!
I am here for this app and it’s shows, but please fix the bug where after a commercial the episodes start over. I have to fast forward after each segment, that’s not feasible.
I love this app. But if you can maybe play 6 ads before the video and make that the adds for the video so the video isn’t interrupted. Also the more I’m actually watching it the more ads pop up. When I first started using this it was like 3 ads a video. Now I swear it’s like 15-20 a video. Every 10-15 mins it’ll play like 3-5 ads here and there.
I understand there needs to be ads, I understand if they are repetitive, long, annoying. But I can’t deal with them freezing Every. Single. Time. I have to mute the tv because the sound just skips. Sometimes it freezes and won’t come back at all.
You really need like a progression bar over episodes that were watched. A lot of episodes I have to click on to see if I’ve watched it before or not. That’s the reason for the 3 stars. Find a way to implement that and the rating for me will go higher.
I downloaded this again and I signed in and I can’t even choose what I want to watch it just plays show previews and then it goes to Jerry Springer show and doesn’t let you choose what show you want to watch so your stuck watching what nosey wants you to watch not what we actually want to watch!!!! The only way to get out of it and to stop the show is to close the app shut it down. Waste of space app
This app has a couple bugs that need fixing. The most annoying one is you get halfway through a show, and it will play a few commercial and go straight to the episode listed after it. I just watched over 12 stupid Good RX commercials and still have been unable to finish the episode I was on.
Like the previous review, I’m only here for Steve Wilkos. There’s not enough episodes because all they want to add is Maury or jerry springer. Then when actually watching an episode, it literally plays about a minute of the episode and then switches to about 2 minutes of commercials. It would take me all day to watch one episode because all of the freaking ads. This app is trash.
I can't even rewind a video without seeing an ad. Maybe i missed 30 seconds cause my kid dropped his toy so I had to rewind but oh no, here's three ads!!! For rewinding! I get ads. Fine. You watch the show, you get an ad at the break. But I rewind 30 seconds of the show and I get all these ads! This is not how ads work! Used to be a huge fan of this app. 5 stars. But no longer.
The ads are outrageous. There is no membership option. AND THE SHOWS ARE WRONG. The Steve Wilkos Show has up to season 19 on Nosey, cool except, THERE IS NO SEASON 19. It doesn’t exist yet! The Steve Wilkos Shows most recent season is 15! And the “season 19” that they have, have episodes from 2007! There are no episodes from anytime within the past 16 years!! It’s rediculous!
