Between my full time job and already taking classes, prepping for the TEAS exam has been a pain in the rear. However, this app has made it so that I can easily take small 5-question study sessions throughout my day. Layout and formatting does the job and the app gives you 2000+ unique questions, and you can flag the questions you get wrong to take back to the study guide later to help direct your study time to the subjects and topics you need to focus on. Great supplementary study tool.
Updated review: I wish I hadn’t wasted my money honestly. $80 is too much for 2 practice tests, I feel I was straight up robbed because this app truly is not worth any amount of money. It supposedly has over 2,000 unique questions but I keep getting questions repeatedly. Many of the errors are so glaring, the more I came across the more frustrated I became and I had to update my review. I no longer feel that this app is even “alright”. It’s poor at best. Don’t buy access to this app. ~old review below~ This app is alright, but if this is going to be a big part of your prep, I’d think twice about paying for access. If you don’t know better, you might incorrectly believe some of the errors in this app and end up getting it wrong on the real exam. Since there’s so many simple errors (like spelling errors, indicating that a word that is indeed spelled correctly is incorrectly spelled) I am worried that I can’t trust this app with other, more complex content. Thankfully, I have other prep materials, and you should, too. This app is maybe okay for random question practice as far as just practicing going through what your thought process should be on an exam. However, I really only got access to this because I couldn’t find how to buy the practice tests without the bundle, and honestly the practice tests are much better.
Overall, the questions are great for reviewing. However, there are several bugs in this app. Question of the day never updates, previous answer selections will appear on the following questions (this is during the testing and reviewing), and some questions don’t have the correct answer available for selection. I have seen several questions where an answer that is correct was marked as incorrect. Then in the review, the answer description will state that the “incorrect” answer is in fact correct. The app has a percentage tracker, which is helpful track your progress as you interact with the app. However, the excessive glitches make the tracker inaccurate. You may miss answers due to their errors. Also, if your are not careful, you may study the incorrect information not realizing the app has errors within their own questions. All in all I’m making due with these bugs, but disappointed in all the hoops I have to jump through to study with the app.
You pay a hefty price for this app and it’s plagued with issues. It’s insulting to us as people working hard to study for this exam and paying for this garbage. There are questions that refer to diagrams that are not present, questions that have the wrong answer labeled as the correct one, questions that have answer choice’s completely irrelevant, and many more issues I can’t recall from the top of my head. Some of these questions sound like they were written by a toddler, or someone who doesn’t speak English. I would give it one star but with all its issues it does have plenty of questions that are fine and ignoring those that aren’t will give you a decent enough practice session. Asking for $17 to be able to use an incomplete app for 30 days, and then another $14 to renew it when your time runs out is straight robbery and insulting.
This app is great for getting a feel for the questions on the actual exam. However, there are tons of errors when it comes to the questions being marked right and wrong. If you select a correct answer on the questions that ask you to ‘select all the correct answers,’ many times they will mark one wrong that is correct. In the explanation it will say this answer is correct even if it has a red ‘x’ next to it. There are also a ton of spelling errors. I just answered a question about what breaks down protein in digestion and I know the correct answer is ‘pepsin.’ However, in the app they’ve spelled it Pepsi which makes it seem like a trick question. In general, I enjoy the app and I’m starting to feel prepared for my exam. But, it is very important to read through each of the answer explanations to determine if your answer is actually right even if they’ve marked it wrong.
I’ve came across a few wrong answers on this app. It’s concerning considering this app is prepping us for an important exam, and it’s giving us wrong answers and explanations. For example, I got a question asking, “Which of the following words is spelled correctly?” ‘Weird’ is an option and is spelled correctly. However, when I clicked on this, it was marked incorrect. The explanation says, “This word is spelled correctly.” So, why was my answer considered incorrect? 😭 If I would have known better, I likely would have saved my money. I do see value in the app and its content, but I think they really need to review the questions and answers to ensure they are correct. We shouldn’t have to double-check every answer and explanation. It just feels like a waste of time. I think the app is helpful when it’s accurate though.
This app is pretty good but what’s holding it back from being the best resource is that there are so many errors when it comes to the questions. Some answers to the questions are just flat out wrong. I’ve even had a question where there were TWO correct answers but the app only allows one correct answer (like any standard multiple choice question). It’s really annoying that the price is pretty steep only to run into situations where you select a correct answer but you still get it wrong. It honestly makes me worry just a little bit about the real test. I truly hope there are no bugged questions on the actual exam.
The app is really great for getting accustomed to the ATI format, but there are a lot of errors for certain questions. The low review is due to the fact that there are too many wrong answers or ambiguous rationales by the developers of the teas themselves. All these mistakes defeat the purpose of prepping if the developers cannot even revise or review their own questions. I highly suggest that the developers revisit all of the answers and questions and update accordingly. Some of the rationales are not even for the question at hand, and some of the rationales are vague as well. While the reviews seem pretty high on the app, a quick google search shows that I am not the only one experiencing this.
The bright color of the app which appears to be dark orange to reddish color makes me feel stressed out while taking the test. Developers should also consider psychology behind colors and how it affects each person’s behavior. Also another mistake on the test is the word “weird” where it’s asking the correct spelling. Weird is wrong but on the explanation, it says it’s the correct spelled word. And the correct answer which was “eying” has the explanation that it’s NOT the correct spelling and it’s supposed to be “eyeing”. I don’t know whether there were other mistakes unnoticed as I haven’t finished all the test questions. But overall, I just dislike the color that I’m staring at while taking the test. I would have preferred green or blue than red or bright orange.
While I love this app and I think the questions are generally helpful, there are a lot of questions that are incorrect. I am about 1/3 of the way through all the available questions, and there are at least 10 questions I have come across with an incorrect choice listen as the correct answer. Every time this happens, I screenshot the question and ask a few people to review it so I know that I am not incorrectly reading anything. While I will continue to use this resource, it is hard to feel like I am getting reliable practice when I continuously encounter incorrect questions.
I ordered 2 TEAS practice assessments and they came with access to over 2,000 practice questions. I was able to do practice quizzes for each subject . You can also adjust the quizzes to include questions on areas that you need to work on. This app and the TEAS practice assessments helped me score proficient on my 1st attempt. I used this app for about a week and a half before taking the exam.
I was really excited to see this app finally come to the App store, but despite studying for the past 2+ months, these questions are really making me feel like I’m back at square 1. I’ve taken both practice tests and still don’t feel like their level of difficulty was on par with this app. On the plus side, if you study the types of material here for a while, you’re probably going to make a decent score on the TEAS. I’m planning on taking it in two weeks.
Having a busy life , work, kids and in the ho. This is the best option for me. Easy and organized layout, Straight forward, and is not crowded!! I mean visually. Has only the necessary icons; gives you an idea of the quizzes you need to study more. Loving it. Hope it pays off.
Same as others have stated, some of these questions have incorrect results. One math problem had 4 choices, but it listed two responses twice. So I picked one of the two with the exact same formula, and it was marked wrong. The explanation doesn’t seem to make sense, so I asked my husband to look at it and tell me if they were different. Nope, exactly the same. Another was asking about digestive enzymes and one choice was Pepsi. Obviously, I didn’t chose that one. But it was a typo and was supposed to say Pepsin. The charts to reference are always cut off on my phone and you can’t scroll. All of these affect your scoring, so it can be difficult to know if you’d score a passing grade on the exam. The questions can be difficult to understand what they are asking, as well. I will still continue using it because many questions are just fine, but it is frustrating.
This app is not super useful- I got it as a free subscription when I bought practice tests. A lot of the questions have wrong answers and typos. There are also several multiple choice questions that have the same answer for all the options which is dumb, because if you don't select the one they decide is correct, you fail the question. Furthermore- the fill in answers will not let you move forward, leaving you with multiple unfinished tests because the test wont register that you've input an answer. I wont be continuing my subscription once the free trial is over.
I purchased this exam hoping that it would be similar to the exam I take in 3 days. I’ve had it for 2 weeks now and have noticed a hefty amount of issues. The main one I’m finding is the glitch for practice tests regarding going to the next page. The question also seem to have issues. A lot of the answers I’ve chosen are marked wrong until you get to the exam review and then they are marked correct. It’s a bit pricey for as little as you get on this app. I wouldn’t recommend in my experience.
The app isn’t bad. There are lots of unique questions, which is great, especially since they are written by the author of the actual TEAS exam. There are, however, are number of questions with errors, which can be frustrating when you’re trying to build your confidence for the exam. So, just be aware that those errors are there and don’t get too discouraged you’re correct answer is marked wrong.
Overall great app, I love to use it but the only issue is I will get notifications that there is a new question of the day, yet when i log into the app the same question from weeks ago is still there, i have had the app for a month now and have only had two new question of the day’s. If this got fixed that would be great!
This is a great tool for study, but I have noticed a number of questions that are incorrect (which scares me a little since this is made by the actual creator of the exam) and I have had a good number of questions repeated, but I would prefer all unique questions.
I have been using the app for multiple months. While it is nice for on the go studying, there are so many errors in their questions/answers. This leads you to get points off and therefore inaccurate, lowered percentages. What makes this worse is that there is no way to report these errors within the app. This makes me nervous for the actual TEAS exam as this company writes the questions for the real thing as well.
The wrong answer issue has already been stated by many others on here. It’s a problem. I don’t know why there isn’t a feed back option to help correct these mistakes. What concerns me more is that when I’m taking the exam how do I know that the test is going to be reliable? Honestly? The work book is riddle with incorrect spelling and punctuation errors. Then this practice quiz app, which I was grateful for is giving incorrect information. So I ask, how can I trust the integrity of this exam?
I have a previous review but I have been finding so many errors in this that I am having trouble trusting the integrity of the actual exam. It’s crazy that this app which is from the official ATI testing is such a mindf**ck of wrong answers. It asked me for the circumference in a question and marked it wrong stating in the study mode “this is the result of calculating circumference…” and the answer marked correct was for figuring out the diameter 🙄 I’m genuinely mad that I keep paying money for this app with so many errors.
It’s disappointing to see that the official ATI TEAS is the company giving out the exams itself but many of their answers DO NOT correlate with the question being asked. Some of the explanations to the incorrect answers are not helpful at all (it would say is it not the correct answer with no other reasoning). For having pay to access, it is unbelievable to see this happening.
I ran into several instances where there are no correct answers available, so an option that is false is deemed correct by the app. I resort to googling to make sure I am not wrong. This is insetting as I’m not sure what information I have retained that I do not realize is incorrect and I will get wrong on the real test. There are also glitches that make questions skip. I would recommend avoiding the app and using the website.
I was really excited about the comprehensive package that included this app, but since downloading it, the app has crashed countless times. I have uninstalled and reinstalled as well as checked versions of my IOS. Whenever I open the app now just a blank white screen appears that has no prompts or options. Very disappointing product and I should have chosen a different package as I feel this was a complete waste financially.
Ok additionally the answer choices and explanations sound like they were written by someone for whose first language is not English or by a bot. It’s just very strange to go from grammar questions on the English section to wildly grammatically incorrect English in some of the math and science questions and answer explanations. Really shakes my confidence in using this as a study tool, but maybe the real TEAS is written the same way? Feels so sketchy.
This is the best source for ATI teas. I do wish there was audio integration as the more dedicated student would appreciate learning on the go. A second wish would be color/visual references, like pictures. Additionally- there are no videos :( **These two would cover the visual and auditory learners. The app does not let you access all the features available from the desktop. Other than that, like mentioned above, this is the bread and butter to studying for the test.
The amount of errors in the questions I've encountered so far make the app really frustrating. Thankfully, I am able to recognize these errors, although I wonder if there are more errors I missed resulting in misinformation. Aside from this, the questions are really helpful in offering an insight into what I need to review.
This app is good for getting used to the way questions will be asked on the exam. However, it is very concerning that there are so many spelling errors and misinformation regarding each topic. What does that say about the quality of the actual exam? If the makers of this app are the same as those who make the exam…what a joke. Get it together; the TEAs is a huge component of many nursing programs.
To be a product pushed so proudly by THE creators of the TEAS, I’m wildly disappointed. Sooooo many errors and incorrect answers deemed correct. Poorly created and honestly a waste of money - if you’re thinking of giving this a try, don’t. Oh! Forgot to mention, once the app logs you out (yes, you must log in with each use using your ATI login), you lose all progress and flagged questions and will need to start all over.
Bought the study manual and the mistakes are overwhelming. Paid for this subscription and there are many, many errors. It really brings into question, how many errors are on the TEAS Test itself? All of these were created by the same company, Is it not possible errors on the exam itself have lead to people having lower scores and not being accepted into their program?
Lol the app is not working properly. Literally RIGHT at the sign up, when I enter my phone number and try to continue, my field input is deleted, and the phone number field is highlighted in red, indicating that I need to enter a number before I can proceed. I try to put it back in and the same crap happens over and over. Cant even use it. Very annoying and odd.
i like this app, but in some areas is hard to understand what you guys are trying to teach.. There is a lot of errors.. it took me sometime to understand what you guys were trying to explain..I would really love it if there were more explanation and visuals explanation.. Thank you.
After purchasing the application I soon realized that you only get to answer the questions one time. The questions are not continuously recycled. ATI does not tell you that when purchasing the package. Also, this app should be available on pc as well.
im actually so annoyed rn, i literally created an account on the website when i spent over $200 for the prep that said id have access to this and it wont even let me log into the app… ive tried multiple times & even updated my password and immediately tried again two more times. so glad i spent all that money just for an app riddled with tech bugs.
I was taking a practice test and I wanted to change my answer but for some reason it would not let me. I am able to click on the calculator and flag icon though. I had to log out and log in again but nothing seems to be working. I also encountered a problem with no question.
The concept of the app is great, however, it would freeze and never update multiple times which made it so frustrating to use! I ended up not being able to use it the 2 weeks before the test. Quite disappointing for something you have to pay for….
Great app for studying, I was super excited to see this come out officially by the creators. The only thing I don’t like is getting the same questions over and over again despite doing multiple quizzes.
The app logs me out every week and completely resets all previous data so that I have to answer the same first couple of questions over and over again. I don’t feel like I’m advancing in my studies and I feel like my money has been wasted. Even if I frequently use the app, I still get logged out.
The app overall is great. But the problem is it has errors on some answers and there’s nothing you can do about it. They need to include a feedback option to let us help with the right answer.
I wish that ATI would get serious about this app. It has potential but as it is now it should be free - too many mistakes, misappropriate answers and generally frustrating functionality. I used it to prep for TEAS test but did not rely on their answers. Purely used it to know the types of Qs and timing myself. It was helpful to me, passed the test.
I’m not even a quarter of a way through all the questions and there’s been easily over 20 errors in the answer key. Beyond frustrating and hard to know when I actually am getting something wrong because I don’t trust the answer key at all, let alone it makes the stats on your tests inaccurate. Very over priced for such poor quality.
I’ve enjoyed using it for quizzes but I did like the daily question idea, mine just never works. I did it the first time and it never updates to the next one.
I’ve been using this app for a while and I am starting to notice some of the answers aren’t correct. Why pay for a subscription that is supposed to help you when the answer aren’t even right.
There are several mistakes and typos in the questions and answers. I’m worried I’ll study incorrect information and fail the test. Of course they do not offer refunds but even if they did I’m hesitant to invest in any of their other products. My school requires the TEAS so I have no choice but to take the exam but I’m looking for other resources for test prep. I’m so disappointed I wasted money on this.
This app is good, or was good when I first got it. I don’t know what happened.. I’m sure it can be fixed or repaired but from the looks of it there are several bugs.. I can’t even get into the app! Disappointing to say the least..
I’ve gotten like 5 out of 300 questions so far with incorrect answers wherein the explanation directly contradicts the supposed correct answer. Even though it’s not that many proportionally, It’s driving me nuts
I was disappointed that i paid money for this app just for it to crash or freeze on the questions so i have to exit and go back into my quiz to get it to work. Also have found several grammar mistakes which have led me to get an answer incorrect.
I downloaded the app when I purchased the study guide for my upcoming test. At first the app seemed great but the more I use it, the more I realize how many things are wrong within it. It keeps marking my answers as incorrect and will prompt with the same answer I entered. It marks answers incorrect that should be correct. There's questions that the answers don't line up with. Ex: one question was regarding Ph and the numbers given were 7,10, and 12 but the answer had the correct response as Ph 6. I've contacted customer support twice now
I purchased this app because it says there are over 2000 questions available to prepare for the TEAS. The app repeats the same question over and over, whether you get it right or not, and accessing 2000 questions takes an impossible amount of time. would not recommend this app at all!!!!!
