I’m a Founding Member because of their original content and am thrilled with what’s being done. However, when it comes to the app there are features not currently available that I feel would dramatically enhance my experience. They are: subtitles on ALL movies, the app (and site) should keep track of where viewers previously stopped to resume from there, when stopping a movie it should go back to portrait mode if device is positioned so, rewind and skip-forward controls, the time should show with a tap of the screen while viewing a movie. As far as I can see, the only place to view ALL of the movies is from the BON after selecting ALL. I feel we should have a place on the home screen to do that with a few featured movies or most viewed this week and a See All link or something similar. All teasers, trailers, interviews, and BTS videos should NOT be included with movies but put in the Wine and Cheese Lounge.
I love Passionflix! I will continue to support Passionflix, and never cancel my membership. I think this streaming service is such a great idea. I have enjoyed every movie made, and look forward to many more. I know you all put 110% into each and every movie. I appreciate all of your hard work. However, I will say that the app & website are a little bit repetitive in my opinion. There are way to many categories that list the same movies multiple times. I guess this is a way of making the page seem more full, but it makes the page look a bit chaotic/busy. I would like to see the categories more simplified, and scaled back. I would also like to see the older movies/non Passionflix original content dropped off of the page. I know at one time those movies served a purpose when Passionflix was new, and didn’t have much original content. Now that they do have more original content, I don’t see the point of spending that extra money anymore for those older movies. Put that money towards making more original content. Plus a lot of the subscribers outside of the US can’t see those films on the page anyway. I would also keep the Behind The Scenes, Bloopers, and other special events in their own category.
I love PF! I’ve been a founding member from day one! They work so hard at what they do! The only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars is because the app could use some small tweaks but just like any new company, they’re gonna have kinks to work out and the issues are major enough for me to stop using their app. I’d love to be able to start a movie where I left off the last time I watched it or be able to rewind/fast forward but I’m sure eventually they’ll upgrade it and continue to improve it. They’re good at taking suggestions and improving things for their audience!
I am so not a Hallmark girl because those cheesy romance movies are just to sickening sweet. Give me a love story with some true grit and bite to and I’m all in. I first heard of Passionflix (Gabriel’s Inferno specifically) in a group on Facebook. So happy I did! I watched the first part of Gabriel’s Inferno and by the time the second part came out I had read all the books. Toska and her team have done something I haven’t seen in years. They actually stick to 99% of the book. That’s almost unheard of now a days. It’s spectacular. I look forward to part three in the series and the future books adaptations. But I will also begin exploring the rest of the movie collection offered.
Coming to you as along time fan of this book and author Sylvain Reynard, Tosca Musk & Passionflix hit a home Run! This movie adaptation definitely had the fans and author Sylvain Reynard’s vision in mind. As I watch the movie it came to life for me as it did when I first read Gabriel’s inferno 10yrs. The chemistry between Giulio Berruti (Gabriel) And Melanie Zanetti (Julia) is off the Chart. It’s magic watching them bring Gabriel & Julia to life. The attention given by Director Tosca Musk was above and beyond. The whole cast & crew was amazing, everyone that is apart of Passionflix should be proud. I cannot wait for parts two & Three. Worked when I signed up and paid. Next time I wanted to watch a movie it kept referring to download the app. Help email was an invalid address. I just canceled my subscription and am dumping the app. Disappointing because it is a nice premise if it worked right. UPDATE....apparently it was a system problem. They updated it, sent me a nice note and I am going to try again.
I have been with PassionFlix from day 1. I joined because of the Driven Series. I love reading and the concept of having my favorite books into a movie I was sold. I even didn’t mind it took forever to get any new movies. Now after being with them I can’t get the 2 Driven movie. I contacted so many times I’ve forgotten. I get days later in email saying they would like to help but nothing. PassionFlix should have a call support. So for 6 months I’ve paid 5.99 each month and can’t watch Also Driven is done in chapters. So the first movie I had to watch opening and ending credits for 20 minute chapter. I’m going to cancel. And it’s sad because when this worked I enjoyed it.
Ok. I originally watched the series Driven with my prime account. I loved the books. I enjoyed the first season though lots of parts where skip from the book to TV. I got the app thinking the rest of the series would be here. Nope. I was wrong. In addition, they’re other movies you can watch for free through other apps. On top of there are like a total of five movies on the app. The rest are behind the scenes and out takes from these same original movies. I love my audio books and kindle. These are all the books I’ve read. I like the idea but I’m not paying 5.99 a month to see if you make a book I like to a movie. On top of the series Driven is now going on two years old so did they drop making it.
All our favorite romance books adapted to screen in the most perfect way. Easy navigation. And fun “BON” ratings. Tosca and her fabulous team take great care to respect and adhere to each of the stories faithfully and with such care and love. As well as interacting with us loyal fans and supporters. We feel the love with updates and info as much as they give the love. Thank you. Love their content and love their original content.
I heard about this app through the read me romance podcast and decided to give it a try. I’m loving the content. The original Passionflix content is great!! It’s well done, stays close to the story line and doesn’t have cheesy acting. The stories are portrayed very well. I love that I can get a sense of watching my romance novels unfold before me. It gives you a range of hot levels to choose from so you can choose something closer to hallmark or something super spicy!
First, it’s owned by Elon Musk’s sister, which is its own issue. Second, they produce things so slowly and most look completely thrown together which is a huge disservice to the authors agreeing to option to them. Third, they have an obvious favorite among their options (Gabriel’s Inferno series) and it’s pushed heavily to the point that no other movies get the same attention. It had good intentions, but between who owns it and the lack of quality on everything but one series, it’s a mess. I feel bad for the authors of every other movie and series because they get the short end of the stick.
Passionflix is a dream come true. As an avid romance reader since 14 years old, it’s amazing to see classic movies and miniseries available(Pride and Prejudice for example) but more importantly to see some of my favorite books brought to live on the big screen! What drew me in was Gabriel’s Inferno, what made me stay were so many more movies and quickie mini shorts and the fact that they KEEP making more!!
This app is awesome! I recommend the Gabriel Series and the Driven series to get you started. There are many stand alone movies including classic romance, like Jane Austen and the Brontë sisters. Romance from G-R ratings. They call is the Bon and rate by flames 🔥. I’ve been a member for 4 years now and have been some of the PassionCon and Passionflix meet and greet events. It’s a wonderful community for those who enjoy Romantic Comedies and dramas.
I love Passionflix and what Tosca has done with it. Bringing my favorite books to life and giving us a inventory of good old classics as well. I am a founding member and was excited to download the app. I primarily use it to cast to TVs when I travel. As with most devices (phones) it’s not always the easiest to operate but it’s been good enough to enjoy the movies anytime I want. Keep making great movies.
As a Passionflix Founding Member, I am thrilled with all things Passionflix. While I’m not as apt to watch on my phone as I am on a larger computer screen or tv, I am just happy there’s “an app for that.” Meaning, any way Passionflix can fall into viewers hands is great. If you want to watch on your phone for convenience or travel, then I’m all for it. Sharing love of romance novels is what it’s all about.
This app works great on my phone or even when I link it to my TV. I LOVE the original content and they beautifully adapt some of our favorite books into exciting & sexy movies that you can’t find elsewhere. They rotate in some lovely other movies that are long-time favorites. Highly recommend & it’s the cost of 2 cups of coffee for the monthly subscription! I love it!!!
Love this subscription service! I enjoy the original content as well as the other movies available through this app. It’s so enjoyable to watch the books I love turned into great movies. There are so many full length movies to select from and some shorts for a quick movie fix. Highly recommend this app!
Okay, I’m not the most technically savvy person. However, I was charged twice because it’s easier to create an account on your phone and then use that log on for your TV. I have a Roku smart tv so downloading apps are easy even for people like me. Well they charged me when I signed up on my phone and then again for Roku. Okay my mistake, should be easy to get the extra charge refunded. NOPE- they refused. Said Roku is it’s own service. So a word of warning..your account is not easily used between phone and TV like most others out there. Ridiculous!

I love this app! It’s easy to navigate, has great shows/movies and works almost everywhere I go, even when my internet is spotty. There isn’t a a quick turnaround with the specially features Passionflix films but it takes me forever sometimes to finish a one hour show, let alone a movie so I don’t mind the wait in-between new releases. I love it!
I love Passionflix because it brings awesome romance novels to the screen by amazing authors! A few of my favorites have already had movies made! The app is good because you can watch from your phone or wherever you have it downloaded!

I have never written a review for an app but I love Passionflix! I thought it would be like Hallmark with bad stories and bad actors. I loved The Matchmakers Playbook book and Nick Bateman, so when the movie was released, I gave it a chance. I have not been disappointed. Passionflix is not what I assumed and worth the money. Counting down for more of Passionflix made movies!
I’ve been a member since Passionflix began. I am enjoying the app. It would be excellent to see these books into an eight or ten-episode series. The movies are marvelous, but a series would allow more of the book onto the screen.
I was pretty excited about this when it started but after a year, not so much. I think there should have been more movies ready to view when they started. Having to wait while paying for old movies that can be watched on cable just doesn’t work for me. The Driven series was good, but IMO they are too far apart. The fee went up to $5.99 and I’m done.
This is definitely a great app. But the need for skip and rewind features is important. Another user said that having the movie remember where we were when opening again should be an option. I would love to have the time show when I tap. Mostly the skip and rewind buttons though. I miss things and going back in this app was very difficult.

I love that I can watch easily on my cellphone or iPad and even via my Cox cable affiliation. This app is easy to use and has every link needed to watch fast and even remembers where you left off on a different viewing venue!
I first discovered Passionflix around 2019 and I am absolutely IN LOVE with their content. I have never had any issues with the app. The content that I want is displayed when I open app and have no trouble navigating through it. Passionflix is just all around AMAZING!!!
Thank you for creating a platform that’s not shoot ‘em up, that’s not dark and sad - but highlights love, sex, eroticism in a fun, escapist way! Erotic novellas don’t get nearly enough play and this is a platform that makes the female protagonist powerful and sexy! Two thumbs up!

As a Founding Member, since its initial launch, I found that the app made it more convenient to watch my favorite authors books made into movies or series. I also watch the other movies that have been loaded are fun to rewatch.
I keep reading that my favorite authors books are being turned into movies by Passionflix so I paid for a subscription only to find that none of the movies I wanted to see are on the site yet. These are announcement made from 2018 and yet still nothing is out from multiple authors and multiple books? Did the company stop production?! Not worth the money or reliable at all, great concept but I see a real lack in follow through.
I’m in love with Passionflix. Tosca and her team had the guts to start this and their love for it really shows. All of the movies so far have been wonderful and really follow the books close. They’ve optioned some of my absolute favorites and I can’t wait to see them!
I love this concept of taking my favorite books and turning them into movies! Founded by and for women, I feel their productions really cater to our wants and needs. Highly recommend!
I will say it’s better than Netflix. Their movies are so great and though I may not have read the books yet they are very well done. I like the HEA most of all.
Because that’s about all the content they have on this app, a week’s worth. I watched every show/movie in that time frame and was excitedly waiting on the next so I bought a year….but the next of anything never comes. It’s coming up to the 12 months mark and they barely added one thing. Big mistake was to pay for this.
Got the app to watch the Driven series and was amazed! Great job making the book into the movie. Hollywood Dirt and The Matchmaker’s Playbook were great too. Had to figure out how to start the movie over when finished, but that’s the only downfall.
Love the movies and shows. No issues with the app other than it needs Picture in Picture!! Please add it ASAP! I love to rewatch movies and do other things but I hate that I can’t do anything else on my phone or iPad when watching Passionflix movies!
