We read the News-Press every day. We are good ne from Florida more than 6 months each year, so we use our app on the phone. We use the version where the layout is the same as a print newspaper. We turn pages or skip to the next section or take them n an article to enlarge. All features are easy to use and reliable. And we find the articles informative and interesting. Thank you to all who contribute and produce this quality product.

The PDN app is a basic, no frills reader that allows me to follow local news as easily as I can news from major outlets online. One complaint - and I can’t claim any documented proof of this - is that it seems that there are stories that show up in their hard copy edition before making it to the digital edition. Another issue is that it also seems that PDN puts some stories up on Facebook before (or without?) making them available in the app. The problem there is that my PDN login info doesn’t save via that portal, so I I eventually hit the ‘free story limit’, and have to go through a series of steps to login to my PDN account. Ultimately, it’s better than generating a lot of solid, albeit recyclable, waste, but it’s not as good as it could be.

I enjoy the PDN in the morning with coffee. It has been very difficult to say goodbye to the actual “paper” because of course we had them every day for our entire life and it’s sad to see that go. Things change and we must adapt I suppose. You put out a good paper, very informative on local happenings and not politically over the top which I so appreciate after these last couple years felt like a guy with a giant hand standing in front of you and doing the Moe(stooges) slap Far Right SLAP!, Far Left SLAP! back and forth across your face and my head is still ringin’! Thanks for your hard work and keeping it up throughout the PAN! Hat’s off!

I’m enjoying the PDN on my iPad. This is much easier to navigate than I expected based on my experience with a previous app. I receive an electronic paper when none is printed on holidays. The PDN offers a reprise of national news on its second front page, but perhaps less Washington state news.

This app looks and works well on my iPad. I prefer it much more than both the web version and the dead tree version. Fast, elegant, easy to read and to navigate, this is a better experience. Besides ease-of-use and easy on the eyes, over time this will save a fair amount of forest 🦌🌲 🦅 🌲 — a win-win-win.

The app is great when the delivery person can’t make it to our place, and I don’t blame her at all, must be climate change or the way the weather has always changed from year to year, lived here a long time

It takes three steps to actually access the front page and it could be so much smoother. When I open The NY Times, it takes me immediately to the front page. Other than that it is pretty straightforward.

Nice to be able to read articles on line when I can’t get printed issue because of the weather. Good layout and also like to go direct to articles of interest

This new format for reading the Peninsula Daily News/PDN is much easier to read than the online version. I particularly like being able to read the print edition.

Have enjoyed being able to pull up the paper, as we did not get paper for a few days, and now its arriving later. I really enjoy this. Thank you Sharon

Our online edition of PDN keeps us informed without a long trip to the mailbox. I read it every day and appreciate the work that puts it together. Leah and the news team are a source of pride for us.

The PDN app is a significant improvement over a pretty good web site. The navigation alternatives are especially useful and the touch to read function, while similar to the web site, is very convenient.

Very easy app to use. Lots of options for reading the “paper.” Makes it possible to read the paper edition on my phone.

It is so important to know, to the best of our ability, the truth about news and local events. Unfortunately news reporting is largely influenced by the world view of the reporting organization. So I encourage you at PDN to continue to strive for the truth, for the truth from different perspective world views.

Grew up over on Peninsula..Daily News then..this is nice to be able to stay in touch..thank you for your hard work

The app is sooooo much better than the online paper. I am a die hard hard copy reader that just converted to e-reading.

Seriously! Most articles are more than a page long so you are constantly scrolling up and down to read an article because everything is in two columns. It's as if the people who own an run the news service don’t use the app!

Feels just like reading a printed news paper, but with enhanced navigation and zooming in when reading selected news articles.

Took a while to get used to. I don’t have a PC so I found it difficult to print the crosswords but Support walked me through it, and it works. Yay.

Its nice to get local news online. The Marketplace section is extremely disappointing-no local items ? Its all ads for Kratom and CBD products,, very weird. Your “paper” could have much more to offer.

Having just lived here a year, the local news I can relate to: what people are doing, restaurants’ specials are and cultural events are taking place.

Easy & efficient. I love that I can increase the size of the print.

Love the index on front page, easy to go to next page. Easy to access newspaper.

I would have given it five stars if I could vote on the question of the day.
