This is why I go to Ameristar! Because of free hotel rooms so I spend my money in the casino. You say any day any night but it’s bull!! Add on fees no we’re sorry but you came at a time when people wanted to come so it’s not free!! You’re telling me to stay at the basic package for free then if I want a room with whirlpool I have to pay!! You’re branding only has a two year life cycle when Nebraska casinos are up and running. If you want repeat business you treat the small customers like everyone else.

In regards to the Skybar, I’m not sure why you let the good people go… RACHAEL was very cordial understanding and managed that restaurant very well and not like it is at the present time. The poor waitresses and bar people were so stressed and constantly complaining and was sad to hear, I’ve been coming to this casino since day one and I’ve seen really really good and I’ve seen extremely poor and right now. Whoever is micromanaging the upstairs restaurant doesn’t seem very qualified. I speak from experience as I was a customer relations person for GM and Hummer for over 15 years. and it’s very sad to say that fingers are pointed at people when actions weren’t really done speaking about myself. I was accused of picking up someone’s plate when all I did was take a picture after the lady offered me the appetizer several several times and it was seen by one of your host, Cindy and my company that assisted me at the time of the St. Patrick’s Day dinner I don’t like being accused of something I don’t do and giving a threatening warning that if anything happens again, I’m banned from this casino so when someone says, please review a tape it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to do that just please put yourself and my mind at ease and just do a simple task that’s all!!! I really enjoy coming to this casino for it’s only 15 minutes away from my home so let’s keep everybody’s trip very pleasurable!!!

Despite earning a good amount in PENN Play rewards I am unable to actually use the rewards as it states I can in the PENN Marketplace. The error message when I try to checkout with my cart states to contact the PENN support email, which has never responded to any issue that I have had. Additionally, after the big update to the Sportsbook app, PENN generated a second PENN Play account and number for me on the same email. Now when I earn rewards they go to this new account which I can’t access as it has the same login email, and the funds in my original account are set to expire since I am not “earning” PENN cash on this account in the allotted 30 day window. Despite many attempts to contact support, I have received no response on this issue either. A big part of me using PENN for gambling was the rewards system they offered. Since this rewards system doesn’t seem to work as intended at the moment, and with the frankly concerning lack of support they offer I no longer feel comfortable using PENN.

Do not expect to receive assistance of any kind for any type of issue you may have with this app or its promotions. I have been trying to get a resolution for months with either no response at all or the times I have gotten an email back it was very clear the rep did not take the time to read my issue to be able to address it correctly. It was a pre populated response that did nothing to correct my problem. I created a Penn Wallet and stored my credit card information in the wallet. I have yet to receive the $25 the promotional offer states I will receive for completing those steps. When you connect to a game with your Penn Wallet you are supposed to receive an additional $15. I assure you if I haven’t received the $25 for creating the wallet account I surely am not going to trust to actually use the account and allow them to take money from me when they still haven’t given what they claim they will give. You would think this would be a cut and dry complaint/resolution. Either they are shady or they just don’t care enough to address issues that their customers bring to them. Either way it isn’t a good look for them.

Click on a section to find out more and it tells to download the app, takes you to the App Store for the app you are already in then tells you to log in. The explanations of PennCash PennCredit are terrible, don’t tell you that there is a difference (PennPlay Credit can only be used to bet on sports), how to use it for casino play even though in the ESPNBet app that directs to create an account and tells you “Free Penn Cash” and then again in the Penn Play app “Use on slots in person or online”….. i’ve been searching the app clicking on everything back-and-forth and talked to Support twice for over an hour now and can’t figure out how to get it for slot play and I don’t want to click on it and get stuck with this sports bed like my mom did I don’t watch sports. I know nothing about sports. Anyway enough rambling absolutely terrible app.

Selected for BIG drawing… 25 people drawn to win up to $2500. Larger winners go to left on stage, smaller winners go to right. I won $100 in free slot play. If you were directed to go to the right the amount won WAS NOT ANNOUNCED. Of course even Ameristar was embarrassed at that kind of win on a BIG DRAWING night. Absolutely everyone I talked to had one of two comments 1) You have to be kidding me or 2) I thought $500 was the minimum! Why would Ameristar cultivate that reputation when paying free slot play? And how many other WINNERS were so fortunate to win $100 in Free slot play, 20 of the $25? Why infuriate your loyal gamblers with this type of drawing. If Ameristar can’t afford a decent drawing they should just eliminate it as this is very damaging for your reputation. Ameristar is no place for the moderate to medium gambler. My experience the last several times has been horrid. $190 in one machine, no bonus games, $100 In another machine, no bonus. Horseshoe and Harrah’s might not be any better but they absolutely cannot be any worse. Give me one reason as an Elite level player why I should continue at Ameristar.

Unfortunately this is the only casino I go to and I use to go to Ohio but stopped Ohio as it became a true losing casino. Now for the past couple years things have completely changed at the Detroit Hollywood casino. It is bad really bad I don’t care how many days you go and how many thousand you drop a night you just can’t win anything ever. Your lucky if you can just play for a hours. Don’t talk about the offers. Garbage gifts, and there sit in spin they say win up to 1000. Really never in all the years I have been going have I ever received then what free play I was offered in the pamphlet sent to house. Then have you ever noticed that the same people win the drawings most of the time if not always. I my self have never won a drawing and I was owners and now elite.

1) I added my own money to my wallet from my bank card & it’s not showing the conversion. 2) When I first uploaded the app I added my own money to get the bonus Penn Cash that I didn’t use right away now it gone as well. 3)I moved & I’m unable to update my new address on Online Wallet, I called the 1-800 number NO ONE ANSWERING, All of the Cashiers at the locations response are the same “I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE APP & I need to call the 1-800 number that never answers. 4) I’ve had several frustrations when I have accumulated Penn Cash over $1 when I am redeeming my collection the system switches an RED Error Message popped up & snatched my balance to $0 however,Even if I push the call button or go walk to the Cashier they ALL call for floor Staff then floor staff calls for a Floor Manager. The Floor MANAGERS opens the slot machine “TO SAY THEY DO NOT SEE WHERE I REDEEMED MY CASH”

I think everyone who visits Penn Casinos should have this App, it’s a great addition and the respective MyWallet feature makes playing seamless. You can also track your MyCash that you gain while you’re in the Casino. The only negative is that I’ve been going to Hollywood Casino St. Louis for some time now on a frequent basis and never seen to get any type of rewards. I’m at 1700 tier points which isn’t that high, but it’s considerably high for what I’m willing to spend every time I go. It makes me feel like the rewards are just on some type of lottery system. That’s the only thing I don’t like about the app, otherwise it’s great.

It was easy, connecting the app to my bank account, and there were no fees involved. I was excited to use the app at the slot machine. However, the app kept telling me I had to have Bluetooth on for this to work. Clearly, Bluetooth was on took it to the slot supervisor - she couldn’t get it to work either. Using an iPhone 8 plus, you would expect this to work seamlessly. ended up transferring the money back to my bank account. Guess I’ll stick with cash next time.

Frustrated because said I earned all this cash rewards on stuff I never played like table games, sportsbook and other stuff and I never got it. No one seems to be able to help me. Even with in casino games says I got rewards but then don’t show up even after I’ve gotten points needed. Almost like someone else getting stuff I should have gotten and playing on my card. Plus twice my main bank had charges for horse betting and other purchases I didn’t make. All after putting app and wallet on my phone

I’m not sure what happened recently, but the wallet function is not working correctly. My saved cards have disappeared and when put them in again, it did not save them. Less than convenient. It was great when you first switched it, but someone needs to troubleshoot this problem.

Appears security staff walks around the main walkway paying no attention to customers, talking very loud with each other and sometimes 3 abreast talking up the entire lane. What’s more some walk with hands in their pockets looking very unprofessional. I’ve seldom seen them walk thru the video poker area. Video poker machines ; Many of the machines have needed repairs for MONTHS. Mostly broken buttons and some have card reader malfunctions. Lastly it’d be nice to have more comfortable chairs, similar to the slot machine chairs. Thank you !

A few months back I put $150 into the Penn app from my bank account. I put it into in there so if I was visiting the Casino I figured I would have easy access to it. So yesterday was my birthday and me and my wife went to Hollywood Greektown Casino only because I just realized I had that money on the Penn app. I checked it and it was on there. Long story short I tried to access it and couldn’t find out how. Was told by an employee to go to the Service Desk, that’s when I was told after 6 months if the money isn’t used they take it away. Really can’t understand how they can take your cash money you put in away that isn’t theirs to take.

They have been pushing the mywallet feature a lot lately. I took the bait and add money. First time using it, was great. Convenient and makes things easier and don’t have to worry about keeping track of your tickets. Went to the casino today with hundreds still in my wallet from when I added money/last trip and of course the app was glitching and wouldn’t load my balance. Finally would load and then not transfer to the machine. Was like that for several hours. Finally got it to allow me to transfer to my bank account. Will stick to cash for a while longer. I don’t like them playing with my money even more.

MyWallet and the (777) deposit Bluetooth section hasn’t worked in days. I haven’t been able to put money into my mychoice account for over a week. The app will freeze when you click MyWallet or Deposit via (777) and kills the battery on my iPhone 12+ mini. The app literally turns my phone into a hand warmer. Columbus OH was waiving the fees for using the cage to put money on mychoice accounts (apparently this is a widespread issue at the moment) but now they are charging us. Why punish the players for an app malfunction? Not to mention the Bluetooth isn’t keeping track of points right now, only using mychoice card is. Wish I realized that sooner

Been going to the Ameristar a lot, finally signed up and have been having issues with the app. When my offers get loaded they magically disappear without being used. Tried to reach out to support and they said they never had any trace of my offers. If you’re in Colorado go play at the Z or the lodge. Update- they also cleared my 27 entries for the huge giveaway they are doing this month. New week started and I woke up to 1 entry, which is what I did today even though my weekly entries exceed this. The customer service is garbage and frankly don’t trust any casino affiliated with penn play. If you don’t have picture proof they gas light you.

Now the offer section is just blank. This app is not designed well . It is not user friendly. Doesn’t tell you that you have used a promotion in the beginning of the week. Just stays in the system like it’s available still. Yes You should remember these things but it is helpful when you go once a week.

I love that if I am at a machine and want to put additional money in to play and don’t want to leave my machine or the ATM lines are too long or it won’t take my wrinkled up twenty dollar, I simply use my Pen Play. And if I won and know I’m coming back soon, I can simply leave it on my Penn Cash It also allows me to see how much I took out of my bank in case I forgot.

I love the buffet it’s probably one of the best buffets I have eaten at food is really good! I like the app like the casino! I really like this place at lot! I do wish the comps were a little better like isle view has free rooms and good comps But I do love Hollywood the games and the food! I haven’t stayed there yet so I don’t know about that. But like I said like the food and casino!

Always says invalid password with my email. I am going to place lotto and give up on this. There seems to be no help for my dilemma. I have exchanged numerous letters with support groups. They just don’t see where it says invalid invalid invalid, and they turned me off with too many attempts, so no one star is more than enough for this app. I was in there at one time not anymore. They just don’t love me

It takes a long time to trigger the bonus rounds; whenever it triggers, the bonuses aren’t worth the amount sacrificed. I have played a lot of the games and sometimes never get into the bonus. A lot of the new games like the pig and the mine games haven’t been paying out at all. But the games do keep me entertained.

This app by far is the best I have found from keeping track of your fee plays to the latest give aways but what I like the most is how I can load cash for free to use at your favorite games it’s flawless really comes in handy for the wife who unfortunately has a disability and will loose paper currency

I understand ticket can mess up but my main concern is that for the last 3 days I have had to wait at the cage line to get my card fixed. Bad enough vip gets to go ahead of us less spending people but o spend what I can! Complained to mgr and did not help you would think he would compensate me in some way! I guess Scioto will be my next choice if thing don’t improve at Hollywood Columbus. Thanks!

Some features are nice but the ability to book rooms is awful. Signing in once should be enough to make a reservation without having to input all your information several times. It also seems like many of the properties are on different reservation systems. While you can easily book a reservation at one property you get error messages trying to book another.

If you’re anything like me, I’m constantly having to fumble through my wallet to find the correct casino card to pay for my food comps. Now I can just pull out the app and scan my phone to pay for my food. Also no more confusion about when my free play offers are valid 🎰🎰🎰

The app information has been incorrect, time on app to pick up gift cards was wrong. When addressing this with casino rep at high limits reward she could have cared less about the problem her answer was simple nothing she could do! Everyone is encouraged to download and use the app but when a problem happens no one wants to help. Very disappointed that no effort was made to compensate me for the inconvenience. Hollywood Casino is 40 miles away and I was told wait the 2 1/2 hours or come back.

Since Ameristar became penn play, the overall experience has gone way down hill. Machines do not pay as well as before, no waitresses on the 3rd level, it takes a longer time than before for a machine tech to show up after you press the service button. It’s harder to build up points on the player card. Honestly I would recommend Horseshoe casino over Ameristar. At least the rewards are better, and the machines allow you to play longer .

Easy to use, find Rewards, check your account, see your tier progress. Also using My Wallet is way better than using the ATM and cheaper too! I encourage others to try it for its convenience. I appreciate how it works for me.

Very accessible for when u don’t have any cash left and u can access your wallet or card and not to mention the offers and bonus cash given is great for a day when you don’t have much money

Wish rewards would go in order of calendar and not jump around to all the days… can’t follow all the days easily when they jump from beginning of month to middle back to days earlier… and take days off once day is passed…

York Hollywood-The comp system is horrible. At other casinos I received comps from eating at their restaurants but not here! My friend and I both got sick after eating chili ( which did not even taste like chili) at the restaurant! Drinks are normally free at other casinos- not even water is free at this one! Most casinos have a non-smoking section but this one has certain areas but not effective and smoke is heavy in this one. I have to send my clothes to the cleaners every time I am there!

All I can use it for is to see what “minimal” rewards I have but every time I try to access my wallet all it does is spin but never opens! Some of the giveaways/drawings that they have at the meadows would give an extra reward if you have used the my wallet within the month but that is impossible to obtain if I can’t even access my wallet! It Used to work but all of a sudden it does not anymore. I have deleted it and re-downloaded again but no luck!

I can’t believe I can connect to slots with my phone now. This app does it all. I don’t understand how there’s anything below 5 stars unless you don’t know how to use your phone

I have been using the Penn Mastercard for months. Still have not received any rewards. Nobody to talk to are get any answers from. Don’t plan on using the card again until I get answers for no rewards as promised.

I set up everything in the app and received $45 in free play. Got to the casino and had no way to cash in my free play without a physical card, so I had to go to player services. (Why have an app if I also need a physical card?) Then when I took the card to the kiosk to get a voucher for my free play (again, why?), it said my pin was denied. Long story short, it was a waste of time and the app has all of my identifying info. Terrible technology!

Always was loyal to Hollywood casinos but no more. The Hollywood casinos do not operate the same. Check benefits for tier status. Don’t see anything there that makes me want to upgrade status. Used to get food discounts, free rooms, free shows, VIP parking to name a few. But don’t see these listed anymore. Not every casino has a VIP lounge. Penn Play app has a lot of bugs needing fixed. Guess I’m finally waking up that gambling with Penn Play isn’t what they make it out to be😎

This app is so easy to use. I can see all my offers in one place for mychoice casinos. You can also use it for your comps at restaurants instead of digging your card out!

I used to be able to get on here and check out my offers and promotions but for about a week now I haven’t been able to do that. It just keep saying network error. I messaged them on social media and on their contact us website and never heard back. I don’t get it they usually real good at emailing me back. Hope y’all fix it soon

I HAVENT GOT ANY REWAARDS & been PLAYING FOR SEVERAL MONTHS NOW since the new PENNPLAY . When it was mychoice i got free 5- 10 $ free slot play & 5-10 $ food credit - almost everyday . I havent got 1 single reward since the Name/ app change . Again been ive been present at the casino - card inserted spending and spending not 1 reward . Makes me not wanna go back knowing i aint getting the same love thatMychoice gave me

I’m kinda upset that I don’t get your specials through the mail. Me and my friend used to get things but it stopped. And other friends of mine get really good special offers to put in the drums at Hollywood Casino in Austintown, Ohio, I’ve never got one yet. Just because I DONT use my card all the time doesn’t mine I don’t spend some really good money there!! I seem to win more without the card in the slot machines. Been going for the past 5 years!!

I have downloaded this app several different time’s and I’m still unable to use it, all I get is something’s wrong pull down to refresh/ try again and when I do that still nothing.

I’ve been using the my wallet function for over a year and all of the sudden it says my ID is expired and to go to the cage. I went to the cage and they have no idea what it means, my ID is in fact not expired! The app support at the casino says “it just goes away by itself” it hasn’t yet! Please help fix this!!

I have had my Penn Play Card for a long time, decided to download the app to take advantage of some promos going on right now. After several attempts to get into my account I gave up, contacted support and got the run around from them. Very disappointed with customer service, and I guess I will miss out on the promos tonight. In the future I will just go to other places that value their patrons.
