The app crashes constantly! If you try to log pt contacts with the app connected to the internet, it takes 3-5x longer than using the app offline. If you use the app offline, it will lock up when you do reconnect the internet to sync. It is very glitchy and temperamental with some WiFi connections, causing data loss and failed sync. The GUI isn’t very user friendly and won’t allow you to batch-select skills you have performed. The forms page is equally as frustrating where you can’t “select all” for a grade of all 2’s on every criteria within a skill.
I have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling the app. It gets stuck on the syncing and won’t complete. Also, sometimes when I document a clinical on the app, it creates “conflicts” with the website for no reason. So I have to have it returned and resubmit it. The app is also completely useless for documenting labs. Labs can only be done on the website. While you can schedule lads on the app, it doesn’t have as many filters as the website, so it’s just easier to go on the website to do it. Basically the only thing we can do on the app is document clinical.
Every time there is an update, you have to delete and redownload the app. It doesn’t allow students to make changes on dates/locations when making opportunities so you have to send to the teacher to delete for you. Not user friendly and makes you jump through a lot of hoops if you make a mistake. Also takes forever to load even on high-speed Internet access.
I have to close and re-open it almost every time I try to use it. It “synchs” every time it does decide to open and frequently crashes during that. It’s also very confusing and nearly impossible to understand what page you’re looking at at any given time. Needs a lot of work.
So after using this program I have come to love it. Really is very helpful, especially offline. However there is one thing that I find annoying. I am unable to upload documents from iCloud. Would love to see this and the ability to select multiple documents.
Constantly crashes and glitches if it ever loads when you first start the app. It does not have nearly enough c/c and other critical information. Documentation of VS and drug administrations as well as other things are very frustrating and time consuming. Nearly impossible to write narratives while on app. Horrible, a nightmare come true.
My paramedic classmates and myself were the test dummies for this app. As if being a guinea pig isn’t bad enough, this app added to the stress. It’s unorganized, there’s way too many flying parts and not enough options for chief complaints. Don’t even get me started on the skills options section. Lots of typical bugs that need to be fixed. This app helped make my clinicals for paramedic school a nightmare.
It worked at first, but all it does is crash and not retain any of your documentation. Extremely frustrating when trying to enter patient reports. I have to constantly log out and delete app and reinstall it for it to work. Even at that it will still not work.
I can’t believe we had to spend 85 dollars and app is garbage. Told to try to log into web version on my phone. The app does not sync and isn’t keeping all my skills. Most of the time when I’m trying to add a skill it’s just spins and won’t open or closes out all together.
When you log in it just says if it doesn’t work to log out and retry…I don’t even know how many times I’ve tried it. And deleting the app and trying again. It literally doesn’t work at all. Crashes 24/7.
It worked at first. Now, it just keeps trying to sync. I have deleted it and reinstalled it, and still it does not work. Super frustrating when you are trying to document clinical hours on scene without internet.
This app worked for about 4 months…then quit. I’ve never used it as a student, only as a preceptor. I hate to imagine being a student and having to watch the app attempt to sync for months at a time without success.
I’ve had preceptors loose hours of work due to app crashes. Students can’t check in and check out reliably. Glitches and other problems abound. Great idea but terrible execution of software developement.
This app is not user friendly, especially in emergency settings. It’s not as horrible as the testing part of their complete program, but it’s horrendous to use and I dread my ems education because of the use of this program.
I use this in school for documentation and honestly, this has made school so much more difficult. It ALWAYS loses my documented labs and opportunities, and deletes any info I have saved for ridealongs. I do NOT recommend this app
Might want to consider fixing the problems with the app because no one in my class can use the app anymore and it was a great add on until this last update where the app wont sync
Pretty good app and service for documenting/testing. I like the mobile app for documenting while on shift so I have less homework to do. Unfortunately the app now gets stuck at 62% "syncing" and is totally useless after the update, so I have to 1-star it.
