Great app from customer focused team with a quality product
OK, so I’ve been a Kickstarter backer of this product and whilst it’s taken a while to deliver the wait has been worth it. The set up of the devices went very smoothly (once I realized I had to take the cap off the vial before putting it into the device) and the look and feel of the app is great. Customer support is available via chat within the app and has been very responsive to questions and feedback. What do they need to do to get the final star - implement the scheduling feature and add AppleWatch support (actually the AppleWatch support would gain them a 6th star 😜) OK, scheduling arrived today so added the 5th star as promised! Setting up a schedule was simple and intuitive. Bonus feature request - add a ‘boost’ function - so when I need a blast of scent I can quickly set the device for 30 mins or an hour say and don’t have to remember to turn it off again later.

Love it, but some drawbacks
I’ve have been using Pura for about a month. So far I have to admit, it definitely elevates the experience of being home. I love the smell of high-end candles but I don’t like having candles lit in the house, I also don’t like candle soot, and honestly I forget to like them. Pura offers beautiful high end scents, many of which are partnerships with candle companies. I also love their return and exchange policy if you do not like the scents, and have used it. Now for the drawbacks. Some of the scents sell out and take a while to receive, which can be disappointing, that is why I only gave four stars . I am hoping that their production will increase as time goes on so this may not be a problem in the future. They are also expensive when you compare them to products such as glade but I don’t believe they are in the same class as Glade. Many high-end candles cost 30 or $40 so in comparison these are cheaper. I would say these are more of a luxury brand and make me feel a bit fancy. I am easily offended by strong scents and I like how you can adjust the power level of the scent. I have also bought one as a housewarming gift. They have definitely become a necessity in my home. I highly recommend!

New app update means LESS customization options?!
One of the main reasons I chose Pura over other home fresheners was the ability to control the intensity of my scents. As someone with a mildly sensitive nose that still likes a little fragrance in my home, I LOVED being able to set my diffuser to a level 2-3, depending on the fragrance. With the option to go as low as a 1, I never really needed to worry about certain scents being “too strong”. With the new app update however, intensity level options are now limited to “subtle, medium, or strong”. Unfortunately this means that many of my subscription scents (that I have used for YEARS) are now too strong to use at the medium intensity level, but also too weak to use at the subtle intensity level. As someone who has used Pura for over 5 years now, this new update is definitely a move in the wrong direction. Considering the price of their fragrances, if this update ends up being permanent, that might be enough for me to cancel my subscription. TLDR the newest app update took a fantastic, one of kind product and turned it into a mediocre product that resembles every other home fragrance product on the market. The ability to schedule and control the fragrance intensity was one of the major selling points for this company, so I’m not sure why they’d willingly choose to offer LESS customization options.

Animals having bad reactions to scents
I loved the Pura creativity, ingenuity, and the idea of scents throughout the day. I was so looking forward to using Pura. But, I have been left terribly disappointed. After the first day of trying the dispenser, we found our animals, dogs and cat, had bad reactions. So we lowered the scents to lower levels on intensity and less time during the day, but they still caused issues with our animals. The Citrus caused sneezing. The Lavender scent made them lethargic and acting very strange. We became concerned. I believed the scents would be safe for our animals. Instead, I had to turn off the Pura. I love my animals, so I have to stop using Pura. I have to return my Pura & scents. I found out after much investigative research disappointing information about ingredients of the scents, I noticed per animal websites they contained known toxic oils, for example pine. And, some of the ingredients might not be listed. Hopefully in the future you will develop a scent or two that have ingredients I can trust. Scents that say all ingredients are ASPCA approved. Scents where I do not have to do an investigative dive to find information on, and definitely state their scent profile contains scents safe for households that have cats and dogs. Until that time, I will have to live without Pura.

Poor customer service
I got an email discussing a subscriber day perk day/promotion set to occur November 13th for current subscribers or those that subscribe by November 12. I was interested, so I subscribed to two scents by November 12 as requested, but never saw anything about the promotion on the 13th. I searched the app and website for a way to contact someone to ask why I missed the promotion. The only help on the app and website were pre- set questions or issues. None were related to my question and there was no chat bar or other “contact us” link. So, I ended up replying to the email I received in the first place. I got an auto response that said that email would t work, so it gave me an email address for customer support. I emailed them with my concern, and basically was told sorry but the promotion is over. Extremely frustrating! I received information about a promotion, I “signed up” for the promotion as they described, then receive/see no promotion information as described, then was basically told “too bad so sad”. It felt like a scam. Once I get this order in I may just sell them or get rid of them. The scents never seem to last long enough for the price.

HOPE NO ONE EVER NEEDS TECH SUPPORT
Sent this after numerous requests for help... “ I have a new device coming. If it fails to last very long like my current one, then I’m done. That said, your customer service is horrific. My existing device hasn’t worked for 10 days. I reached out, didn’t get a response til the end of your work day and of course, had to wait another day for my response to be viewed. I performed the steps as I was instructed and let customer service know that none worked; then absolutely received no other help. I went to my app to pause a fragrance and my fragrances had disappeared. The app was requiring me to connect my device, which now it doesn’t recognize. I took pictures of each step, as well as my WiFi connection so your rep could see that was not the issue. I just gave one of these as a gift. I hope my friend doesn’t have any problems, as help is minimal and communications just drop off. I even received an email indicating the ticket was closed. There is a breakdown between your automated responses and your staff that responds. It’s ridiculous how many automated emails you get. Once a ticket is open, the customer should have only emails from the support staff member who initially responded.”

App Change Limits Intensity Setting - Forces Faster Use of Fragrance
I love the fragrances from Pura and have had no trouble with any of my 4 diffusers (2 Pura 3s and 2 Pura 4s). However, the recent app change removed the ability to set the intensity from 1 to 10. Now, the only options are subtle, medium, and strong. Pura claims this makes it easier to set the intensity with the new PuraLast vials, but it makes no sense. Even on the subtle setting, the scents are too strong. It’s using much more fragrance than when I set the intensity to 2 or 3. I contacted support and was told there wasn’t anything to be done and they would pass my feedback along. They suggested I look for a more subtle fragrance. I like the fragrances I have and some of them already are considered the subtler fragrances, so that argument doesn’t work. (It’s also annoying that I stated my issue with subtler fragrances in my original email to support, but they still suggested it. Do they even read the messages sent in?) I can’t see this as anything but an opportunity to force us to buy refills more frequently. It’s absurd to assume that the new app is so much easier to use than the prior version. I guess it’s time to look elsewhere.

Great product
I love Pura! Still learning what smells are my favorite but so far so good. I love the fact I can add a schedule so it doesn’t run 24/7 when I really don’t need it to. I have multiple diffusers all around my home. It’s great! However, I would like to suggest to developers that the scheduling feature has some quirks that are so annoying like having to open each individual diffuser to add the schedule. Or that I can’t copy a schedule to another diffuser so they are all the same. Personally I want all of them to be on the same schedule and it’s been taking me over and hour to update the schedule on each of my diffusers because I have to manually enter them on each one and can’t just copy it over. So if you could add in some updates to the schedule option to make that a better experience, I’d recommend that for sure!

Disappointed
I have always been one to check reviews on any product before I make the jump to buy. I’ve always wanted a Pura diffuser but $47 is a lot of money for one small diffuser, compared to the 5 dollar Air-Wick plugins. Plus, each refill is around $14 compared to airwik’s $14 for 6 refills. So obviously I figured Pura was top tier. A lot of my clients have a Pura, and their houses always smell so good so I went ahead and just made the purchase. I decided to put it in my living room/ entryway which is a 20x24 room with a door that closes off to the rest of the house. I plugged it in away from the front door and could only smell it if I was kneeling down right beside it. We have good Wi-Fi so that’s not the issue, checked both slots after 30 minute intervals to see if they were warm, they were. Also both fragrances are considered “strong” fragrances one being Santa Fe and the other Atmosphere. I have both all the way up on intensity and still, after 9 hrs with the living room door closed all night I smell absolutely nothing.. I bought this at a boutique is Gruene Tx and I do have receipt. Maybe I got a faulty one I’m not sure.

Pura is great. The App is not.
I have no beef with the hardware or the scents themselves. My problem is with the app. Although navigating the shopping interface has gotten easier recently there is still a lot that, although slick in appearance, is still really inefficient and clunky. When I want to make a new purchase or start a new subscription the app never remembers my payment info so I have to dig for my wallet. I’m not getting up off the sofa to search for a way to spend money on a thing I don’t truly need anyway. I take it as a sign that the universe wants me to save $$. When there is a problem there seems to be at least 3 or 4 ways to get help… Do I tap the brown button in the lower right hand corner? Do I hit the “help” button in the drop down menu? Do I consult the FAQs link at the bottom of the page? Either way I’m not getting my problem resolved anytime soon. So much for impulse shopping. Pita’s loss I guess. Also adding a “wishlist” would be nice.

Finally a plug in that lasts!!
After years of trying all kinds of plugs in, from commonly known store brands to higher end plug ins and scent diffusers, Pura delivers! Everything that I’ve tried only lasts a couple days at best. The wick ends up getting so saturated it stops working and/or you become nose blind to the scent. The great thing I’ve learned about Pura is that each device having two different scents, your nose never gets bored with the same scent causing you to not smell it anymore. Also with the prescheduled set times, I have it coming on an hour before I get home from work and shutting off an hour before bed. (The weekends get more use). I also like that I can adjust the intensity of each scent individually and how long I want each scent to run for. I have one in my entry way and one in my bedroom. Best purchase I’ve made! I’m obsessed.

No back button
1 star for the app, 4 stars for the device. Clearly multiple people have already complained about this but I’ll throw my hat in the ring. There is no “back” button in the app, so when I click on a scent to read the description, I have to force quit the app and restart it to click on another scent. This makes the app basically useless and, as a result, I rarely order any new scents. The diffuser itself has been working well and I’ve had very few issues with it, even after I unplugged it for a month during a home remodel. But the app’s poor design is bizarre and, frankly, you guys are losing money as a result. You’ve performed bug fixes recently, so I’m baffled why you haven’t fixed this. It makes me question whether y’all aren’t able to sustain your product and will be out of business soon…why else would you just not address an obvious problem. And please don’t waste time responding to my review. Just fix it.

Terrible customer service
I am so disappointed in the customer service of this company. For days last week, my device was constantly showing offline. I reached out to their customer service and got a generic answer. I’ve been trying to swap out a scent for almost 2 weeks on their app and it doesn’t work. I emailed customer service regarding my issues with swapping my scent, instead of receiving help, I received an email that said my issue had been started in another conversation and my current conversation would be moved there and continued. Silence, no continuing of the conversation and still no help. In the meantime, I was charged again for the scent I've been trying to swap out. Emailed again this morning - no answer once again. I will be cancelling my subscription and tossing this product in the trash.

You won’t ever buy anything else!
I tried pura initially after seeing it at a parade of homes and I’m so grateful I did! Believe me when I say I’ve tried everything on the market to fragrance my home, and nothing compares to Pura! This device is genius! Setup your own schedule, choose the fragrance intensity, pick your night light color and bam! It’s so simple! Plus, the scents are like nothing you’ve ever smelled... so real and nothing artificial. I’m a chronic migraine sufferer, so being able to control the intensity of the scent, plus having all natural scents is a win-win for me! Everything else I’ve tried just gave me a headache! Plus I love being able to turn my devices on from anywhere I am! Don’t wait on getting one of ten of these... you’ll be glad you did!!! So worth it, and they’re totally affordable!!!!

Help is hard to get
I have had a lot of a little glitches with setting up my Pura online and often have to reset it and it’s quite frustrating. I use the term little glitches loosely because they’re actually big glitches and I usually cannot get the system to work at all. It is Impossible to reach anyone to speak too.. or to even find the contact help desk number…especially when you have multiple Pura set up in your house I’ve had lots of problems, connecting them to the app, and I’ve almost given up. In fact today, for no apparent reason, when I open the app, it could not find my diffusers, even though they’re plugged in and seemingly working. I think you need much online and live support for the product. If you could, please respond and give me a contact number that actually works that would be fabulous.. when the diffusers do work, I feel like they work well they give up a pleasant sense, and I love the idea. thanks, Jacquie

Doesn’t always work
I ordered my first Pura device late summer and I loved it at first. So I ordered fall scents and another device. I tried honeycrisp in both devices and they smelled good for like a day or 2. Then they both just stopped giving off a scent. Could not smell them at all. I tried everything. So I thought maybe it was just the scent. So started the pumpkin chai. Couldnt smell that one either. So I ordered the one I started with (volcano) which is my favorite and couldn’t smell that one either so that’s when I knew it was the device. Just strange both devices went out the same time. I am still trying to work with them. I moved both devices to a different location and turned it up to level 10. I can smell slightly but nothing like when I first got these. Very disappointed. These aren’t cheap! So I expect them to work really really well. I did contact Pura and they are sending me out 2 new replacement devices. Which is nice of them. But I think this is too expensive of a product for how it’s working. Not impressed.

Too many glitches
I was so excited to use this smart diffuser, but the app has had consistent glitches. It kept glitching as I was trying to set up a schedule, and kept taking me back to the fragrance bay instead of the options to create a schedule. After disconnecting my phone from Wi-Fi, and using my cellular data, it allowed me to go through the options. Also, I was disappointed when I could only create one schedule per fragrance. However, but I discovered if I connected my diffuser to my Alexa, I could create more schedules with my Alexa routines. The second major issue is that it won’t recognize my fragrance in the first bay, even after it recognized it initially. Once it stopped recognizing it, I scanned the smart vinyl manually. The app recognized the scent, but when I insert the scent into the first base lot, the diffuser will not recognize it, even though I am 100% certain it is inserted correctly and fully. Frustrating! Too many issues for trying this product for the very first time!

Could be better But I love it bought 3 and gifted one
Love these last long but you could alarm on the app that it’s almost empty. When it is instead you have to delete entire App reset scan again it’s already a pain that you cannot overlap an existing schedule oops! If I wanna put 2 schedules in the same dispenser and one is 8 am to 3 pm god forbid Pura ! No!! This overlaps you’re existing? How’s that when the other scent is 3:30 To 8 pm Best thing to do with a second or third device is Copy Schedules! As Far as the delivery Fast Clean and Safe. The Bamboo scent is amazing and the Rose in my sunroom? Getting mega compliments. I have cats and a dog and this is definitely helping in the summer and in quarentine not being able to obtain freshness cleaners constantly as before. Limited to naturally now and with this App you get a constant fragrance of clean with linens and specific oceans. So you can use healthy cleaners and get a fresh scent from Pura.

Do not waste your time or money
I want to start off by saying if there is a way to give an app negative stars, I would in this instance 100X over. I never leave reviews but the amount of time I have wasted troubleshooting this device along with the app constantly crashing, is not worth whatever convenience any influencer said it would save for us. Not to mention the lack of customer support that is offered here so there is no way to talk to a person or even live chat with. The only way to troubleshoot is to follow their step by step guide—which I have several times, with each attempt confirming my resolve that it’s not my Wi-Fi, it’s not a user error, it’s not my phone—it’s the buggy app combined with an even more questionable device. It is almost 2024, and with how long this company has been around and the amount of 1 star reviews they have received over the SAME issues, it is a wonder that they are still in business. No amount of promo codes or free devices with sign up is worth the headache.

Worst App
I used Pura for a few months in 2019 and ultimately replaced the system with Bath and Bodywork’s Wallflowers after my growing frustrations with the app and tech glitches became too irritating to handle. I just decided to try Pura again as I saw they had new devices, the Pura 4’s, and was hopeful that their tech had caught up to the great concept that is this product. 3 new devices later, I can report that the app is as glitchy as I remember with only one new feature (scent timers) and I am still having to put a lot of effort in to get my home smelling how I want it. However, I will note that when you do get everything working - the quality and strength of the scents significantly outperform the B&B Wallflowers. If you decide to purchase, know that you are likely signing yourself up for some frustrating situations, but once operating these do work effectively. Pura - PLEASE invest more in your app, the irritations of using it frequently outweigh the benefits of the calming scents!

Major network issues
I am a huge Pura fan. I’ve subscribed for over a year. I have 3 units that fragrance my entire house. Better than any candle, spray, or melt I’ve ever tried. And the selection of scents can’t be beat. That being said, I am constantly, like weekly, having issues with the devices logging off or losing network connection. I couldn’t count the times I’ve had to re-add them on the app, which is no quick task. Then I have to rescan the scents, which resets the fragrance level to high, losing all previously logged scent hours. I now have to frequently remove them, shake them, and hope that gives me a rough idea of how much longer they have. My other issue is that my monthly subscription often comes in multiple packages, at various times. Makes it impossible to do a housewide refill when I don’t know the scent levels. Ugh. Such an amazing product but so many kinks!

Poor set up process
Unable to set up due to the fragrances not registering. Tried resuming the set up and closing out the app and going through the process again to no avail. Emailed customer support, but their hours are daytime hours, when most people are at work, so we’ll see how they expect to troubleshoot. Also, the form to submit feedback about your experience going through the automated support feature is silly. You rate your experience, can provide extra detail in a free form text box, and press submit. You’d think your done, but no, it asks you to either refresh or close out the form. Refreshing wipes your responses and the close feature doesn’t work, so you have no option but to refresh. Even if it worked as expected, it seems kind of redundant to have to close things out after hitting submit. My review my change after a resolution is achieved, but given the poor experience off the bat, especially for the cost, I can’t say this product is worth it.

Only smell right by diffuser
After using the diffuser for less than 2 weeks I’m confused about all the glowing reviews I read that convinced me to buy one. First I smell the fragrance only when standing within about 5-10 feet from where it is plugged. Both scents are supposed to be strong. I tried increasing the intensity from 4 to 6 and finally to 8. The only noticeable effect is that now almost all of each of the very expensive vials of scents is gone. The one star is for good customer service. Because I was interested in trying a few other scents, before I realized this product doesn’t really work, I ordered two other vials of scent. Upon receipt I discovered one was obviously leaking. I emailed support and pretty quickly received a response with instructions to receive a replacement. I looked at and performed all of the troubleshooting steps. The diffuser seems to be heating, it is not near any vents, drafts or doors and both scents are described as “strong.” So, my only conclusion is I could have just kept using the store bought, much cheaper plug ins because for so much less money and hassle they at least worked. I was drawn to trying Pura because I wanted nice scents from a simple device that would scent a large area. This one is described as scenting up to 400 sq feet. I’m getting maybe 20. I need to search to see if I can just return this very disappointing item that is clearly not working as advertised.

App update STINKS!!!! Customer service stinks!
The newest update LIMITS ability to customize fragrance schedules. Boooooo on Pura for going backward! The minimum amount of time is now 1 hour. I’m not able to schedule any fragrances for less than 60 minutes with the app update. Is this Pura’s attempt to control their market—forcing customers to use more fragrance and thereby require more fragrance purchases? I sure hope not, Pura. Further…I have tried multiple avenues for contacting the company to get direct customer service. It’s a roundabout merry-go-round that never stops at a direct option to contact a person. No phone number. No email. Chat categories and that’s it. When a category doesn’t match my need I’m left starting over. There is no other option. Why do we call is a “chat” service when there is not chatting involved? It’s more of a flow chart style bot. Not customer service. Pura! Im disappointed! And due to your own lack of customer service options, I’m forced to post this review.

Absolutely Amazing!
I am so impressed and obsessed with this product! My dog was recently diagnosed with asthma and I haven’t been able to use home fragrance plug ins since! I am totally obsessed with all things home fragrance and really enjoy a good smelling home! I came across this from tick tock and was instantly impressed by the technology involved! I love that I can control my fragrances by my phone so I am not wasting it! I also love that I can switch between fragrances because I like to change it up! I currently bought the scents: Santorini and Ambered Topaz. I am so impressed with the smell and they make my house smell so good and expensive! And lastly I love that this device allows me to have home fragrances again that is safe for my dog! I plan to buy more units!!!

Pain in the *ss
Took forever to connect the two new Pura plug-ins that we received. Finally thought we got the issue resolved and were good to go, only to have to uninstall and reinstall the app once again. Three times now and it’s hit or miss on whether it will connect. Last night I thought the issue was completely resolved and was happy. Only to wake and have to do it all over again today. The app does not recognize our plugs and continues to instruct us to make sure Bluetooth is on, which it is. Not an easy or intuitive app to use and basically getting to the point where we are so frustrated that will probably just send everything back to the company and call it good. it’s unfortunate, as we had high hopes, and had done a lot of research and reviews on Pura before making a purchase. If I have to reconnect every day and set up a new schedule each time, it is not worth my time or money. There’s got to be something out there better than this.

I’m Obsessed with Pura
W love everything about the devices-the various features and the technology is great. The variety of scents is excellent too and I look forward to getting my subscriptions every two months. Oh, and I love that you can customize how often you receive your scents. I also have the Pura for my car and I love it too. I keep it on the low setting because the other two are too strong. I get so many compliments on how good my house smells. Even my four year old nephew told me my house smelled good. That’s impressive! I did have a local candle company create a custom candle that matches my favorite Pura scent, Bamboo, and when I burn the candle and and the Pura at the same time, it makes my entire house smell amazing!

Glitchy at best
If you read the reviews you will quickly find out that Pura struggles with getting this app correct. I too experienced the random night lights turning on when they are set to remain off, the “low fragrance” alert despite having just placed new bottles in a days ago and the inability of the app to switch back-and-forth between two fragrances. These are simple things that should be fixed with software updates however they have remained in the last three app version updates. They either don’t care or can’t fix the issue. I have tried their app technical support and everything they have suggested has failed to work. The most frustrating thing is the fact that the app is designed to monitor two separate fragrances and it should be able to switch back-and-forth at intervals but it’s simply can’t do that and they have yet to fix it.

Pricing Changes/ App adjustments
I really like the concept of pura. I’ve used pura for about a year and it’s awesome. However, I think I’m getting locked into a price because that’s what I’m told, but the pricing changes every month. I was told I could have a discount locked in because I was on their original pricing before the changes. I also only get the pura scents, because the other ones are too expensive. Some months I’m charged for shipping, some months I’m not. Sometimes I get a discount, sometimes I don’t. Its just really complicated and I’d like for it to be a little more organized and consistent when it comes to pricing. Also, the app is helpful, but there’s no “back” button when you’re trying to navigate. I was swapping out a subscription and wanted to read about some scents first, and I kept having to exit out of the app and get back in and start over because you can’t just push “back”. Overall pura really is an awesome concept. I like the convenience of controlling it by my phone, and they have really unique scents. Just a couple of adjustments: 1. Make the pricing consistent and make sure the original people would be locked in on the old pricing plan every month without me having to reach out for a special code-because that’s what we were told. 2. Make the app easier to navigate to go back and forth when swapping out scents.

I received my diffuser at the beginning of November with 2 great scents. I quickly switched those subscriptions as I was excited to try 2 new scents. I couldn’t wait until my subscription renewal date on Dec. 3rd. I received and email stating that my shipment was in the pre-shipment phase and to give them 7-12 days as they were extra busy. So I waited. After 3 weeks of no communication I reached out to Pura wondering where my new scents were. I chatted with a very nice person who told me that they would be sent out that week. Here I am, waiting, again. No email, no communication as to why. No scents. So, the diffuser is fine. But it’s been almost a month now and I haven’t had scents to use it. If I had received any communication or email from Pura stating that the fragrances that I chose were out of stock, I would have chosen new ones, but I didn’t. Just waiting for some type of notification from Pura.

Played a Fool
Well least of my worries and first of my diffuser came and only 1 side only kind of worked (we have had products that work well from them before) So that was just a Dud but it took me 3 emails and 2 days of explaining myself before they believed me and sent me a new one. Thought all was well but then i got charged for a subscription i didn’t sign up for (they try to get you to by making the check auto subscribe) But i undid the check as i didn’t want that and still they charged me for a subscription i didn’t sign up for. When i went to go cancel it they said i didn’t even have any subscriptions and that my account didn’t have any recent orders (because i don’t) and they still charged me. Support is helpful but the interface and navigation is a complete mess and doesn’t show you how to resolve and problems leaving it to the poor people that have to respond to their companies problems

Great scents, tech side of things is a hot mess
I’ve had this product for 6 months with 3 different devices. It’s worked ok for a while, but for the last few months I’ve just sort of given up. Support was sort of helpful in telling me ambient mode doesn’t really work, so I just left that off, but now the devices don’t stay connected and you can’t change the color, they are just stuck on blue. I can’t change scents, nor does the app respond to commands at all. Pretty much worthless and way overpriced that I’ve reset to factory settings and done endless troubleshooting on. Way too much trouble than it is worth. I’ll just go back to spraying essential oils in the room instead.

Great product but store in app lacks
I’ve had a Pura for nearly a year and I love it! I love the selection of scents and the subscription program so I don’t run out of scent. But the store inside the app is lacking. There is no way to favorite fragrances or mark them for possible use in future subscription. I lose a lot of scents I’m interested in because I have no way to go back to them. Also once I have a fragrance in my subscription I can’t click on it to view I have to search for it. I wish there was a better way to favorite scents in the store. I also wish i could rate fragrances for my personal use (not a review). I’ve been discovering so many scents and have realized I don’t like certain smells but no way to remember for the future.

Ingenious!
I have always been big on home scents. I had a plug in for every room and a candle going every day. I came across Pura at a local exposition and was sold! Not only do they care for you as a customer, their product is incredible. I have peace of mind knowing all of the security features they’ve included that keep the unit from overheating. It addresses the psychology of scent giving you the ability to switch between scents and “keeping your brain on its toes”. I love being able to set a schedule so I am not wasting the scents. Lastly, they smell incredible! I have tried 5 or 6 of their scents and they have all been divine. It truly does not get more convenient to create and control the scents in your home. Customer for life!

Absolutely love these diffusers/scents
I just got my two new diffusers and 4 scent cartridges!! I had purchased two of the same scent, so I got three different kinds; Iron Wood, Pumpkin Macchiato and Vanilla Berry. I absolutely LOVE this! The setup was extremely easy and thorough step-by-step directions made completing setup super quick. The scents are all really great, I love how I can adjust the intensity and schedule each scents independently throughout the day for everyday, including the awesome array of colors to go with them and the brightness level on that as well. Planning on getting a few more and also think this would be great as a gift, so excited to share Pura with my friends and family!!

Several problems, device plug, app disappeared , auto ship??
This device is heavy to hang in an outlet. The plug is hard plastic, doesn’t fit well. My app, plus registered account disappeared! Why? Plus I was put on auto ship somehow. I don’t trust businesses that do this. I don’t think I authorized that but my app and account disappeared so I can’t check. I have bought these for gifts however even though the fit is troublesome because it worked ok not great and thought it was an interesting gift. But with them setting me up with auto ship and my app disappearing meaning I have to set up another account, why? With password etc which may not actually be linked to the charge they just made, I cancelled and won’t use again unless I go through Caswell Massey which sells fragrances. Also should be noted I wrote them when I received notice I was being shipped out a product and received no reply from them.

smells good-if/when it works
It smells great, given you pick the right scents. I branched out and tried something I’d never smelled in person before, and had a lot that I didn’t like. But that’s just how it goes! However, what absolutely drives me crazy is my app is glitching and I can’t manage any of my puras-so all of them are not working. I tried going through support through the app but it didn’t have the right options and I don’t want to make a phone call/send emails to operate a freaking air freshener. Probably about to give them to a friend/throw out, huge waste of money now that it’s inoperable. When it was working though-the wall diffusers were great. The car diffuser though has sucked since I first got it-barely any scent to it even when on full blast.

Great way to freshen home
I have now 4 of the Pura devices throughout my home. I’m very sensitive to scents and odors and I have sports asthma. With that, a little fragrance goes a long way. I can pause each device in my home from the touch of my phone. I’m able to keep my home areas lightly fragrant and this helps my sensitive nose, throat and lungs. I like the variety I fragrances offered by Pura and since a very little goes along way, I put them on 1 for a short while before pause. This is more than enough to scent my home and chosen rooms. Keep in mind that you can limit how much each device emits simply by arranging the scent jumped and for people like myself pause device till a day or two later.

Not So Happy
I always wanted this item. The product quality is great the fragrances I choose are wonderful, the app not so wonderful. When I first open it and set it for 30 minutes or whatever. Hours later I have to swipe out of the app because it acts like is still running the disbursement of the fragrance. Worse part is also when i first got it, would tell it to start and i assumed that it would run for only 15 minutes the default time setting with the device. Not at all! every might I did that it was set to infinite by default. shortly after i got a warning that i needed to replace the fragrances. I’m technically not explaining it to well it has been two different experiences with the item. I have to buy more fragrances now which is fine but so beyond disappointing in the disfunction of the app.

50/50 poor customer service
We ordered two plug-in units. Both arrived in very nice boxes and well packaged. The actual setup was slightly different then the enclosed instructions but was straight forward enough. One unit works well as expected the second is intermittent at best. Shows offline and then back online. We followed the trouble shooting guide with no luck. Contacted customer support and received a response within 24 hours however was basically told to just leave the unit plugged in and it would resolve itself...... it did not. We have had three or four engagements with customer service. Each concluding with a reply from them saying that our issues had been resolved. It has not! As of today we have one unit that works and one that does not. Even though according to customer service it has been resolved. I would not recommend this product. .

Worked great for a month now won’t connect to wifi
I’m beginning to hate Pura. I purchased 2 devices, and a bunch of scents and they both worked great…at least for a month. So I purchased 2 more devices and more fragrances and now 1 of my original devices won’t stay connected to the internet, even though everything else in the house is working on the internet. I go through the troubleshooting steps, it connects, is green and then 5 seconds later it turns red with message “not connected to internet”. This happened 4 times. My second device is also a red glowing color, but it is saying it’s connected to the internet so I don’t want to mess with it. I can smell the scent on that second device so I assume it’s good. I just don’t really understand all the colors, flashing, non-flashing, and what they mean. I did send a message asking for help so we’ll see.

Incredible, with one caveat
I own 5 puras-some are the 4, some are the 3. The fragrances constantly impress me and the technology paired with subscriptions makes it so convenient to keep my home and office smelling lovely. App is mostly great, I haven't had any issues like others are describing. Loses 1 star for "away mode" being inconsistent. Even with location srvcs on "Always" and "Precise" my pura 3s usually don't recognize that I'm home. I can be connected to the same wifi network and have the app open, but it doesn't help. I fully recommend the Pura 4. Can't say the same for the older model... I'd replace the pura 3s but I hate to junk a electronic device that still functions otherwise.

Love the device, don’t love the app
Absolutely love the Pura diffuser no complaints there! And for the most part the app is good when it comes to changing scents and setting scent strength. The scheduling aspect is not super intuitive and I started to make a schedule but gave up. I also wish so much that there was a spot that cataloged all of the scents you’ve tried and you were able to make notes/review for yourself so I could easily remember what I thought about the scent when looking back on them. I also tried to heart some scents on the shop tab but wasn’t able to so I couldn’t even create a list that way to remember which scents I liked. I like to try a bunch of different scents so this is honestly my biggest gripe, seems like a big oversight to me.

Faulty device or faulty software?
Had two devices I purchased through NEST- worked fine. Bought this last one directly from PURA and it’s a useless piece of plastic. It will not connect to the app. Tried for over an hour and went through every troubleshooting technique there is. Emailed customer service and basically got “it’s not you it’s us”. They are claiming it’s a backend software issue and I should just be patient for 24-48 hours. Scratching my head at how this is the case when I have two other devices that connect just fine. Clearly the productive is defective but no hope of a refund. If I don’t get a working device in 48 hours I will work through Amex to get money back and label this company as bogus. Too bad- looks like it could have been a great product but lack of reliability and failure to make it right and support the “30 day guarantee” on the box has scam written all over it.

Love it but it could use some help
Pretty consistently, pressing stop does not stop my diffuser. It stays on, with the button still there, until I force quit the app. Only when I re-open it will it actually be off. Additionally, if you do a hard reset of your diffuser for wifi issues, it also resets your scent levels. I’ve had these scents for almost a month, a week ago it lost connection and needed a hard reset. Since then my levels are back to “high” on both vials, even though they were much lower before. Disappointing that it doesn’t detect it and just goes by the hours. Also, the timer often doesn’t work and jr continues diffusing.

Scheduling bugs
With the most recent update, it has been difficult to make schedules and I often get errors saying they are conflicting when scheduling a scent for overnight and another one for daytime. When I do finally get them to work, I can’t even adjust intensity or light settings without the same error message even though the schedule wasn’t adjusted. It would also be nice if I could browse scents under the “swap” button on the delivery tab with more filters and search features. Don’t know why that’s not an option. Still, 3 stars due to the fact there are still some great features like away mode and the infinite options for nightlight settings. A pulse mode/ cycling colors would be a nice touch though ;)

Loved at first but app needs work
I love the idea of this and I love the scents that Pura sells. My only issue is when I first purchased this I set schedules for my fragrances and they seemed to start randomly or be on much longer than I scheduled. Then I decided to take the schedules off and I would manually decide when to put the scents on but even without scheduling they will randomly start emitting fragrance. Tried one more time setting a schedule and it just won’t stick to the times I set to be diffused. Very frustrating because I feel like I just constantly check the app to know when it’s running and I don’t have the time for that, and they end up running all day when I’m at work, making me go through vials so fast :(((

App is Ruining Product!
The Pura diffuser in concept is great. The marketing is solid, the collaboration with “scent” companies is phenomenal, the packaging and device are appealing. Yet the app, the only way to operate the device, is sorely lacking, and that’s a generous comment. I’m disheartened that there is no manual (non WiFi) feature. The device constantly goes “offline” when I try to make any adjustment— I’m always a few feet (or less) from the device; the schedule feature is rudimentary and clunky (I couldn’t set it for both scents; I couldn’t remove it without resetting the device); and the time feature is not accurate (I unplugged the device, yet the timer continued). Although I was eager to try other scents in the collection, I’m hesitant to sink more money into this product. It shouldn’t be this complicated or frustrating to fragrance your surroundings.

Was great until it stopped connecting…
Got the Pura 3 as a Christmas gift, I even bought a bunch of extra fragrances to try. I’m not sure if something wrong with our wifi but this thing will NOT hookup and work at all anymore. I’ve done all the troubleshooting things the app suggests, keeps telling me to update the app and the app is always up to date?? Really bummed out about this. I’ve sat here multiple different times attempting to unplug, reset, forget diffuser and reconnect and all of that, just doesn’t seem to work anymore :/ my dad has 2-3 of them and they smell soooo good! You can edit the light color and frequency too which we loved. Just stinks that I can’t seem to figure out how to get it working again..

Pura app and devices
I bought two Pura devices one before Christmas and one after, they worked until may and then the app deleted my devices! Trying to contact Pura is very hard and when you do its email only, my devices cannot reconnect to my wifi thru this app, it is so frustrating and Pura support is no help at all to you they keep telling you to do the same things over and over, even though I’ve done them so many times. These devices are very pricey and the scents are very pricey, when it worked i was willing to pay the price , i loved the scents, but now I have two non working devices and a ton of scents i cannot use!!! These should work longer than five months! I would not recommend any one buy these items for the poor customer service, and non working items unless their app will work!!!!
