So basically my child plays this like its a normal game, just because of the little monsters that she finds cute and funny! Even though she is a lot older than expected for kids who use this to learn aka 10, almost 11, that doesn’t stop her from learning! But I have one problem with this, I don’t wanna spend money on this to help her learn any type of multiplication or division and I think it should just be free to help them learn how to multiply and divide, but overall, I really suggest this app for anyone looking to help their kiddo learn!
My 3 year old was getting 1/2 way through a lot of the areas and deleted his account. I don’t know how he’s going to react when he finds out but he won’t be happy. He had a bunch a bunch of monsters. Please lock this with some kind of parent action required for entering. Also he can go in the parents section and I don’t see the faded progress if he does.... There are a few minor things I notice. Maybe the monsters could point at numbers, balls or monsters that are already on screen. Such as the machine game where you are practicing addition. My son will sometimes put the whole number in the second part of the machine.....if he makes a mistake maybe a reminder that the left tub has something. He can add, count, compare and do some subtraction....writing is tough....maybe a keypad for children that cannot write or an option to toggle on learning writers so after choosing a right answer they are helped to draw the number.
We have a 4&6 year old with completely different levels of learning and math skills, this helped both ages. Our four year old needs more help with number recognition and through its algorithms it saw her lack in certain areas and gave her more repetitive ways to learn and master. Our 6 year old is more advanced and the app quickly saw that and adjusted to his skill set quickly. They both start with the same questions but how they answer and how accurately they answer helps the system know what the next question should be. It's an amazing app, we purchased the full set because I know both kids will enjoy this for a while and get good use out of it for sure!!! Recommending to all friends!!!
I have had this app on my phone for about a year now and my 6 year old daughter asks for it. She helps her 3 year old brother play it and when she has friends over they want to make profiles and play it too. I always found math tedious and hard-- I think if there had been fun things like this game when I was a kid I might not have had as hard of a time learning some of the concepts. If I remember correctly, the cost for the entire game was a bit more than I'm usually willing to pay but it was totally worth it.
It’s a great app for my kids but after I updated my iso to 13.3 yesterday, the app just cannot open. It will shut down immediately. Could you please tell me what to do?
I’ve been teaching my 2 and a half year old daughter number recognition, number quantity, and 1:1 correspondence since she turned 2. Been looking for an app to build on those foundations. This app is perfect!! I think I will be using this app more than her hands on math. It’s so fun and interactive! She enjoys building the monsters and seeing her excitement is another plus!!!
This helped my 5 year old a couple years back and I’m excited to start over again with my 3 year old. Sometimes there’s a bit of a jump that stumped him but i was usually with my son and he didn’t get too discouraged at those points. I think my daughter will love it at much as he did.
My boys LOVED this app, and I loved how they were given an opportunity to play with the math that they had been leaning. If the developers would update the app to work with the current IOS I would give it 5 stars. I was just getting ready to buy all the in-app content when it stopped being supported. I really hope it comes back. I haven’t found another math app that measures up to this one in methodology and quality for that 3-7 age group.
We started this app when our son was 2 and now at 5 he still enjoys it! He thinks creating his characters is really fun and he likes the castle (medieval) level the best. I like it because it shows me how he is doing on the report card section and it lets me see the common core each part relates to. We LOVE it!
1st of All my kids downloaded this app but came to me crying because of how the monsters looked and they told me that it looked really scary. 2nd of all my kids don’t really learn anything with this game because the app never corrects their mistakes and they keep on just putting the wrong answer in lastly the packs and stuff are not worth 9.99 just to get new levels for my kids and my kids barely ever use it because of how boring it is ,maybe add something more fun to it
My family loves this app and it worked a few months go but crashes upon opening with the current iOS. I’d love to recommend it for this season of home learning!
I really loved this App until the developers stopped keeping it updated with the iOS. I am currently on iOS 13 but it looks like this App stopped being supported as of iOS 8. I rarely pay to unlock all content but I did with this App. I’m really sad that it’s stopped working. I still have a 2 and 3 year who were using this App and loved all the games that taught them math.
Our four year old daughter has been playing this game intermittently for months, and her math skills see, to be flourishing. It also does a good job explaining the pedagogy and tracking her progress.
I’m not going to give this app a bad rating due to it possibly needing an update because iOS 13 just came out. So I hope the developer sees this and fixes the crash soon.
We love this app, it's fun and you learn while playing! We bought all the islands and use it as part of our homeschool for math! You won't regret giving this app a chance, in fact, you'll fall in love!
I use Quick Math Jr. with my kindergarten class, and they love it. It's not drill and kill, but has them thinking mathematically and regularly practicing the skills I need them to in a fun and engaging way. It's the perfect 10-15 minute activity for math centers.
Rubbish! It was an amazing app when it worked. One of the few apps that I happily paid for the full version. Absolutely loved it but now we can’t access anything. App won’t even open. Support/contact developer options are all expired and the developer’s website is not being maintained. Links broken, pages expired, etc. It’s like they just fell off the face of the earth. Do not buy!!
Don’t waste your time. This app shouldn’t be available for download anymore. It doesn’t even start. Years from last update. Apple should at least find a way to pull the abandoned games that aren’t even functioning anymore. I thought I’d risk it, because my child chose it and that goes a long way toward motivation, but now he’s just disappointed.
This is the best math app we have discovered so far. Teaches concepts intuitively. Repetition is good. And above all does not distract kids with too many bells and whistles. Recommend it to anyone who has time to spend with their kid teaching math in a fun way.
Here is something that I am not making up: My girls actually opens the iPhone and find thus app to practices her maths. Goes on to show they have done a great job making the app
My kids love this app, but this week it stopped working. Every time they click on the app it closes. My 4 year old son especially loves this app for counting and creating his little guys. Please fix it soon.
Although my daughter really loves this app. We seem unable to restore our purchase and the email address listed for the developer doesn’t work. With no way to contact a support to fix this issue my daughter has been unable to use the full version of this app. Please help.
One of the best math apps out there in my opinion. Progresses with your child as they learn. My 4yr old loves it. I recommend it to all my mom friends.
We loved this app for my almost 4 year old and we upgraded a little while ago. Everything was great until the new Apple upgrade and now the app keeps crashing. It just won’t load. We tried deleting and downloading again but doesn’t seem to help. And there’s no customer support available.
This is... or was a great app. It wasn’t perfect - especially as it relates to ones ability to go back to review a lesson, or the sometimes illogical placement of math equations - but it was a fun way to engage children in learning. But, sadly, it hasn’t been updated in 3 years and with the introduction of iOS 13 the app won’t even open. It crashes on launch, even on my son’s 7th generation iPad. This is hugely disappointing to he and I. I’d gladly pay for an updated version but clearly the product is no longer worth the developers’ resources to keep it current.
I used to love this app. It was the number one app for my siblings, but all the sudden it just started glitching out. So now anytime I open the app it just crashes. I've deleted the app and downloaded it again and I’ve even gotten a new phone but it still does the same thing. Very disappointed and saddened with how it’s performing.
We just paid to upgrade and now the app won’t open. We have Quick Math Jr. Every time we try to open the app it crashes. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it still didn’t work. I’m assuming it’s because of the new iOS update. Please refund our money.
4 monsters and 4 worlds on every profile, unlimited profiles, new monster pieces at the end of every test? Amazing 😉 😲 wow, so cool 😎! Coolest math game everrrrrr! Download it today because it is super fun!!!!
If you have multiple kids don’t NOT purchase this app. You will NOT be able to contact anyone for a refund. The Quick Math jr SCHOOL addition is compatible with family sharing, so purchase that one instead.
My daughter loved this, but now everyone she tries to play it shows the start up screen then closes. I tried uninstalling it and re-downloading it but I still have the same issues. Now I wish I had never spent the money to get the full version.
We adore this app. It is fabulously done. I just wish it were continuing to get the updates it deserves. It no longer works on our iPad, just opens and immediately crashes.
The app hasn’t been working. It opens and immediately closes. I’ve attempted to contact support but keep getting an error, no way to contact the app developer. Disappointed bc my kids love this app and we paid for the upgrades.
My family loves this app so much that my daughter wanted to buy the full version so bad that she paid for it with her own money (4y). It stopped working in IOS 13. It would be a 5 star rating if it worked again.
Was a great app—but developers haven’t kept up with updates
This was a great app my toddler/preschooler enjoyed. Unfortunately the developers haven’t kept up with updating the app so it no longer opens with the newest ISO.
It opens and immediately closes now. The website is no longer working. My kids love this app that I paid for but is no longer working and there is no one to contact to help!
My son LOVES this game but for some reason it’s not working anymore. As soon as you try to open the app, it crashes and closes :( I hope it’s resolved soon! I’d give it 5 stars, but since it’s not working anymore, I can’t!
I just bought this on my daughter’s new iPad 7th gen. App couldn’t even open for once. Keep crashing. Tap app support, it takes me to web site and page has 404 (doesn’t exit). Please help.
