Rainbow Dance Competition

I like that I can see all of the events & times. I agree with another reviewer that users shouldn’t have to log off/on to refresh and so on. It’s helpful in that I don’t have to carry around paper schedules, but being more user friendly would make this app even better! 💃

I’ve been coming to KAR almost since your beginning, somewhere around 30 years. I think in many ways you are absolutely tops. I really like printed programs. I’m 85 so I have to keep getting glasses out to read my phone. I would also prefer you not run an hour ahead. So many times other friends and relatives don’t make it. One other small thing. The announcer ALWAYS talks SO FAST, it is very difficult to hear. Now for some accolades. The kids love the way you play their music when they win. They love having the banners to hold up. They always want to come there. I personally think overall you have done an amazing job. I was happy to see them honoring you at DMA a couple years ago…….. Carole Straub, Straub Dance Center PS. I’ve been logged in for a couple of years now, and all of a sudden I am no longer logged in, I can’t see my parent account, I can’t see my dancer or anything that has to do with her. I tried deleting the app, and re-installing and there just isn’t a place to login to your parent account. If asked others in our group if they were having issues and some are having the same issues as me. I can login to my account using a web browser but the app is supposed to make my life easier and it’s not doing that.

I got this app to keep track of where they were in dances at my competition, it worked so well and was so accurate! I’m so glad I got the app or I would of had missed my dance! The app is amazing and I would really recommend it to anyone that is going to the rainbow competition.

It needs more info like in the website. My reco would be to incorporate all functionally of the website in the app, and have auto refresh so we know the flow of the performances. Also would like a live stream. Thanks!

It would be nice if you didn't have to exit in order to refresh the current dance on stage. It would be nice if they followed the actual schedule instead of skipping around, it took too long to keep up with. You should be able to select the dances you want to see and it alerts you so many dances before it comes to the stage.

I love this app and it so easy not to carry so much stuff at once! And it’s so easy to use and it cost no money at all

This all looks great but our studio was not on the list and the schedule isn’t up to date so missing acts. Does not tell you which act is on either. I am certain bugs need to be worked out but was excited and than disappointed since it didn’t work.

As a dancer myself, I found this app and thought it was helpful since we had only gotten one schedule from our studio and I wanted to know if I was the first dance, or who was before me. But when I tried to open the competition, the app crashed. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but nothing fixed it. If anyone can help, please tell me.

Easy to check for dance competition

Useful to see your dates and the lineup of acts. Nothing else worked at all / never showed which act was on , the food nearby never showed anything , no photos . Also would have been nice to access the livestream from the app but ... you guessed it : NOPE.

wish they had video livestream but app itself is good

Restaurants nearby, results. Would be nice to customize a tab with just the dances I needed to keep track of.

Compared to other dance competition apps that I have seen the schedule function needs a major overhaul.

love that you can see results of each studios performances and one minute clips of the dance but auto refresh would be helpful but love

Ok it’s good in all but I would like it to show all the mess ups because for example colors of the wind pls!

Do studios not pay enough that you could manage to not put random adds in the app?

I was nice having the complete line up the day before but our competition never updated who was on stage.

The app used to be great. Now it shuts down as soon as you open a video from results.

The ability to view the schedule is AWESOME. When you first select a location it will show who is on stage and who is next. For you hit schedule, it will then auto scroll to the onstage act. This is great. But if you are sitting on the schedule view and hit Back, then the Onstage and Next Stage won't refresh. Really would like to see it auto refresh or at least have a refresh button/method. Instead you have to go all the way out to the list of competition dates and locations, and then select your date/location again. But otherwise app is really useful at competitions!

This app is awesome. So helpful to know if they are ahead. When you go to check what number they are on and go to the schedule, it would be nice if it would take you to the parrot the schedule they are at so you don't have to scroll through so much once they are further into the competition. Otherwise awesome app.

The only improvement I'd make is getting rid of the white spot with the number in it. It's very distracting when trying to scroll down.

I downloaded this because I needed to my dance schedule. It did not even update! This is so bad.😡😡😡😡
