I have the hammerhead Bluetooth and i downloaded this app and it doesn’t work and it doesn’t specifically say what type you need but there should be a way i can change the tones and stuff right?
I’e now spent 3 days hunting down every lead trying to find out if there was any way to connect the Bluetooth model to the app, and I can say that it’s a resounding “NO.” I’ve found only one thing saying it was possible on the subreddit and they said that the earbuds had to be registered with Razer. I’ll save you all the trouble of looking for it, because it ends right after that comment and goes no further. To the best of my knowledge the person who said that doesn’t even work for Razer; they had no flair. It’s clear people want to be able to turn lights on and off and use the equalizer, make it happen
I had just bought my pair of hammerhead v2’s and they are working perfectly, but the app which corresponds to the headphones that are connected by lightning, and mine are connected by the lightning adapter, making it useless by telling me nothing is connected. This should be updated for use of other hammerheads other than the iOS only ones. Other than that, the app seems fine.
Just because Apple users do not make up the majority of your customers, do not forget we’re willing to pay a premium for a good user experience. This app is not optimized for iPhone X, XS, or XR. iPhone X has been out for well over an entire year. There’s no excuse for your lack of attention to this app. This shows me that Razer could doesn’t care about Apple users and gives minimal effort. If you want our money, GET IT TOGETHER, or don’t, it’s your reputation, I want Razer to do well in the Apple ecosystem but so far, you’re reputation is trash.
I bought a pair of the HammerHead Bluetooth earbuds and the app fails to read them as connected. Upon further inspection of the booklet included with the earbuds and the pdf the iOS HammerHead app had it seems Bluetooth functionality has yet to be added, solid app though. I’d just like to be able to connect my Bluetooth earbuds to it.
I am 0-2 for this app recognizing my Razer Hammerhead earbuds. They are paired with my iPhone SE 2, in my ears, and the app still says "Please connect your Razer Headset". I got my Razer earbuds for Christmas and I had a positive opinion of Razer until all this. Again, what a sorry app...
It would be amazing to have the HammerHead BT be controllable with the lights to save battery and keep static like the other variants, I hope there will be a separate app or this app will Include the BT version. I’ll give it a 5 stars If this occurs PLEASE.
When connecting razer hammerhead earphone to my ipad or iphone7 the app says:"please connect your razer headset" while its connected.I cant solve this issue...
Sadly, Razer decided that the Razer HammerHead BT will not be supported for this app. I even contacted Razer asking them if they will ever add support and they said “no”.
Doesn't see my headset even though it is connected. Which makes the app useless since it relies entirely on it seeing the headset to use any of the features. Fail. *Update* So Razer tells me the app is only for the Hammerhead iOS (wired). Any chance of adding support for the BT version?
I didn’t want a corded headset so I purchased the Bluetooth Hammerheads. While the connect fine with my phone, the app shows that they are not connected. This is quite disappointing as I would have liked to use the EQ and lighting utilities. Please add support for the BT model or release another version of the app that is for aforementioned model. Oh well, I suppose I’ll just buy the second version of the Razer phone when it comes out. I like Android better than iOS anyway.
