App still running very, VERY slow and I NEED my points to process faster than SEVEN days?!! It has NEVER been a problem to call directly after check-out and have a HUMAN physically push my points through. I’m houseless on Disability with a LOT of health issues and I rely on my POINTS for my FREE NIGHT so I can REST. However today, three persons at Guest Services are unable to process my points. So I EMAIL and get a response basically saying “Oops sorry we can’t GUARANTEE that we can Process them, we only did in the past “as a COURTESY” and it will take between 24 hours and SEVEN days to process!” WHAT THE CRAP IS THAT??? Guess I will be taking my $71 per night somewhere else then because I cannot wait SEVEN days for ELECTRONIC POINTS TO BE PROCESSED. That is RIDICULOUS. I have given this motel TWENTY THREE THOUSAND dollars this YEAR and you can’t process my points to give me a sick day off? UNFRICKINBELIEVABLE. SERIOUSLY SOO WRONG. Nobody cares about brand loyalty anymore. I guess I need to take my loyalty elsewhere.
Seems I’m having the same issues several other people have recently commented about: not pulling up member profile, no cards on file saved or available for room booking, not able to complete a reservation through the App. It had worked OK before, but recently, it has stopped working and doesn’t pull up any accurate info or allow for a mobile booking through the App. Such a shame as it was convenient to make reservations while traveling for work.
First I want to say this App is terrible it don’t show when you checked in or out anymore and the points are not showing or if you cancels. How can you even keep up with anything if it’s not in the App we need to see as well what’s going on. Have to look in my emails all the times to keep count of the dates I checked in, it’s very confusing not being able to see it on the app. How would we know if we really getting our points from you all . I know I have more points staying a week in the hotel. You can tell us anything about our reward points. Then I get a story saying I used two emails. I’ve been using the same email since I have started using the app. If I don’t get my points I will be reporting this app as a fraud and scammer into letting people think they are getting free nights to stay and earn points. All my points should come on the same email I’ve been using . I like the hotel but I will not be getting scammed to stay somewhere.
Usually the app always worked for me. This most recent update I can longer use any codes for a stay. Can’t see my recent stays or upcoming, as the app just closes when you press the tab. Same thing on the website when looking at it. I usually get my points for a stay 24 hours after checkout and now I’m not seeing/getting my points and I had a 21 day stay with close to 14k points the I can’t find nor use.
App does not show your reservations when booked or current stays. The app does not give you points after staying at a room and now the app just closes when clicking on the stays tab. Why do updates when the app was working just fine in the beginning when I first downloaded now the things I need to see or get points for paying for a room is not working.
I use RRI for business travel. Recently, the app booked 4 rooms instead of one and then it would not give me the option of canceling. Had to call customer service. Also, sometimes the app will not display any of my upcoming stays.
Slowest app I have ever tried to deal with. I can’t look to see exactly what room it is. There’s no preview of the rooms and when I do try to book it book now it’s not lighting up and I have literally done everything I’m supposed to do… the hotel experience at this specific location is horribly enough without the horrible app
Why………..is……….the…………app…………so…………..slow? You cannot view any of your reservations in the app, and therefore no changes or cancellations. Be sure to take a screen shot of your confirmation as this will be your only proof. It makes no sense that a corporation run by grown adults has such a sorry app. Fire your coders and hire some professionals. Please. For the sake of your business.
Can’t view or update my account profile- profile page is blank or wont load. Can’t book a room through the app due to not being able to upload payment information. Checked for app updates- none available. Deleted app and reinstalled- still unable to use.
Go through another company and get insurance on your booking. Red Roof doesn’t care if there is a winter storm or anything. They only care about your money not your stay. Book elsewhere! It’s 2024 and we need to get rid of hotels finding ways to take money from paying travelers at any expense.
App was updated a week ago and still can’t get on. States that bugs have been fixed but apparently not. Each time I get try to log in or do anything on the app it automatically closes.
I tried booking a room and repeatedly got error messages telling me to try again - only to find out the room WAS booked 10 times! Red Roof told me nothing could be done since they were pre-paid. Lousy app with no corporate accountability.
I downloaded it yesterday, logged in and saw my upcoming stay (which is tonight). This morning I opened it and my stay is nowhere to be found. I can’t even find a place to put my confirmation number in.
I don’t know what they did with that update but it has ruined the app. Nothing is working. My points are either not showing up or going missing. Fix it now!
i love this place so so much but why does it take 7 minutes just to press a single button on the app😅. also why does it not show my current bookings. where's the owner to fix this?
Download app last week. I can get into my account but when I go into my stays the app closes. I have restarted my phone. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Help
I stay at hotels all over the country and this by far was the worst experience I have ever had. The front desk was rude and downright bigoted and made comments about my sexuality. The front desk lady canceled my reservation without my permission after trying to shake me down for additional cash for a hotel room that I had already booked. She told me that my type needed to go back to San Francisco. This subsequently left me stranded in a strange city without a room at 1:30 AM in the morning. Now all the rooms in town are booked because of spring break and I will have to sleep at a rest stop or drive six hours back to my house. It is probably a blessing because the place was filthy and had roaches crawling everywhere. I called customer service to see what they could do and they were really indifferent to my situation. My company exclusively used red roof inn for all of our travel and we will now find someplace else.
Managing your reservations only works if you book directly through the website or app. If you book your travel through a 3rd party, such as AMEX Travel, your reservation doesn’t show up in the app or website. To make changes or notify the site about a late check-in, you must call the site directly. Beyond that, I cannot assess how well the app works. There certainly doesn’t seem to be a way to use the app to check-in/out, open doors, etc.
Frustrated with repeated error messages and suggestions I try again. I had carefully added all requested info for reservations, plus all my credit card data. The Red Roof app failed. Called national help line and after long wait got helpful agent who soothed me, made my reservations and now I’m happy. No thanks to this frustrating malfunctioning app.
I just downloaded this and tried to book a stay, I had issues but when contacting Ted Roof, they state that the app is no longer supported and I should use the website. If the app isn’t supported then what’s the point of having the app ????
