PND has fabulous videos and audios but the app is not user-friendly at all. It is understandable if the app can’t compete with Netflix and Hulu’s of the word but it could be a lot better by customizing profile and taking advantage of AI and make suggestions (this is not difficult at all anymore and even smaller companies are taking advantage of AI these days).
I have been a donor for years! Every morning when I turn on SCETV radio I am thankful that I have supported the ability for me and everyone else to have this excellent source of accurate news and entertainment. I get my money’s worth every day! The only complaint is the APP tends go in and out needing to turn it back on frequently. I have used it for years with different WiFi locations and a couple of different phones and I have decided it must be something with the app itself. Thank you though for all your hard work.
I use SCETV almost daily to listen to Morning Edition. The app is easy to navigate and provides excellent quality audio! I like the ability to hear specific stories and the special stories. Keep up the good work!
Weird that the one thing I can’t find is how to just listen to the station. I live in the boonies where over the air won’t come in except in my car. I have to go to the web for live station feeds. Or they are well hidden.
It’s a shame that “Public” tv allows more access to those who can afford to pay. Having such a classed based system is the antithesis of “public” access and not in the spirit of PBS at all. It’s more akin to a cable tv company than media intended to entertain and inform everyone. Sad to see this.
Just doesn’t work on iPhone 12 Pro Max. I’ve deleted it and uninstalled and reinstalled it. My phone software also is up to date. Works fine on iPhone 8.
I used to listen using the NPR app, but I couldn't always get an SC station and I missed the local shows like the SCBR. This app has been bug-free and I really like the ability to pause, skip ahead (if I'm behind), or rewind a bit (if I missed something).
Potentially a good app, great graphics, but I tried three things on my iPad, and none were successful. I tried finding my favorite program (Doc Martin), entering a contest and contacting SCETV, and none worked.
