Great app!
It’s really a nice app that follows the same layout and theme from their actual website. Always wondered when SSENSE would have their own mobile app instead of always having to search through the internet. But one critique that I have for the app is it’s UI. Having 3 products in each row minimizes the products to a smaller size which may cause shoppers to overlook some of the items. I feel as though having 2 products showcased in each row would further accentuate the details within the products and appeal to the shoppers eye even more. But other than that great app!

No Longer…
I was a customer of Ssense for many years and as of last January (a year ago), I made the tough decision of no longer ordering from them and had them delete my account altogether. Why? They were not shipping my orders and their customer service was non-existent. Obviously I’m not the only one dealing with providing funds for orders in exchange of goods. If you read their social media comments, you shall come across many similar stories of no shipping and people waiting on their orders or if ever shipped - issues arise with wrong items sent. Sure, their products and website are on par but if delaying or not shipping orders along with no customer service help, those are major issues that I cannot overlook. On the bright side - there are a plethora of other sites that are trustworthy and will ship your items on time and provide help when needed. All I can say is buy at your own risk. The aggravation and frustration with my final orders with them were not worth it at all and very anxiety-inducing. P.S. Oh, don’t listen to their responses on contacting their customer care - no one answers! So what good does it make? They spend more time on responding here for their app reviews than they do with taking care of getting back to their customers on their late and/or canceled orders.

Totally a scam, never buy from ssense you will be regretted!!
I have been using ssense for a few years now and from end of last year I have been seeing a lot of people complaining about it for delayed shipping and problem with returns. Initially I was pretty lucky all 3 of my orders during the holiday are arrive within a month. However it was totally a nightmare when I started the return. It take forever to get a return label from them. I called them and did many online chat and email after they suspended the call center and I did not get the problem solved in 3 months. After I eventually manage to ship the item back to them they start to reject my return using multiple different excuses. And eventually they are saying the items is damaged and want to reject the return. While they sending the picture, it clearly shows the tag is attached to the product, all the original wrap around of the handbag is there untouched. I even never moved it out of its original box as I initiated return before the item even arrived. The customer service is terrible and there is no respect to their VIP customers. I will never buy from ssense again and don’t let the promotion fool you!!

Terrible customer service
I have made a purchase over 5MONTHS AGO and have yet to receive any update as to why my money won’t be returned. I have made over 5 emails,I have tried to contact customer service via phone number and it Turns out it’s not working. How great, the only way to get in contact with a real person is via a chat, which they then send you to wait for an email reply, I feel like I am getting scammed, this has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had with any online store. I was told “ just want to confirm that your order has been coordinated to the right department. Rest assured that we will get back to you once we have an update”. But I guess I will never get an update or the money back. They will put you to talk to a live agent which takes 30 min for every reply, which they will then send you to wait for an email reply, which they never reply to.

UX needs some real improvement, bot detection is ridiculous
Starting with the bot detection, something NEEDS to change. I was scrolling through the sale items and in a span of like 15 minutes I had to press and hold a button to prove I’m not a bot about 6 times. After scrolling for 30 minutes I’d held that button down about 12+ times. Nothing was unusual about my browsing habits, I don’t have an ad blocker on my iPhone. Next, the UX needs a lot of improvements. If I’ve been scrolling for 20+ minutes on the sale page and I accidentally click on a designers name, I should be able to press back and be in the same place as I was. But instead, it changes the page to just be the designer and you lose your place. It’s not intuitive, it’s annoying to use. Love the selection and the sales obviously but the app needs some work.

Never again
The customer service is awful .. I placed an order on August 4th For some low top rick owens and decided to get them because they’re on sale and the school year was starting back around. I’ve been emailing them and calling them back and forth for 7 days just for them to keep saying in the emails “More information required” I gave them the information that was necessary , no tracking number no confirmation nothing .. it’s August 10th now and I have school on the 15th , they canceled my order and gave me my money back in a quick process but never order from this website. They have foreigners talking on the chat line so they can barely understand what your saying and overall I give this experience a 0/10 .. I know some people have good experiences with SSENSE but I’ll never order from them again.

Just can’t say enough good things
Ssense is amazing. This store will always remain one of my favorite when shopping for my favorite designers. I love that that they receive pieces that exclusive them from designers. So I know that what I’m wear im more that likely not going to see a handful of people weearing the same wearing on the streets as well. Let also not for get their amazing sale they do twice a year. Some of the prices I’ve have got items for blew my mind. Last they have the BEST customer service as far as I’m concerned out of any retailer. Other retailers should take note.

Perfect Mou Boots plus amazing customer service
When I saw these boots at almost 1/2 price, I thought it had to be a scam. Researched the company and found only good reviews. Have them a try, and they are amazing! Boots are perfection and customer service went above and beyond. Received my item in one week with a holiday during that time! Already made my second order and told friends to try them out. Highly impressed and will continue to shop this app!

Great when you actually get your order
I’ve made several smooth purchases on SSENSE and have referred many friends and fam to the app. When you get your order, it’s a great experience overall. If you have any issue, it will take them literal months to get it straightened out, if ever. TERRIBLE customer service and they try to get you to not file a dispute with your credit card company 😂 as if anyone in their right mind would take this corporation keeping hundreds of your dollars as a solution. After this experience I’ll think twice (if not three or four times) before placing an order, if I even will.

Phenomenal Catalog + Experience
I love using SSENSE and have made several orders over the last couple months. I’ve never had an issue with an order. The catalog of designers and brands they have is wide ranging in style and pricing as well. I would give 5 stars, but I wish they would add the “Size recommended” feature you can find online. This would allow you to list the size(s) of other brands you own to be recommended the size you should for a brand you might be purchasing for the first time. All-in-all, love the app and shopping experience

Customer service
I was very impressed with the customer service. I was somehow disconnected from my call while speaking with an agent. I immediately called back and got a recording that said they saw I had been disconnected so they we’re moving me to the top of the queue. Before I had time to even wait, the woman was calling me back! It was a nice change of pace from the usual awful customer service you get these days. I will definitely continue using this company!

Missing Item from Order
I don’t usually write reviews, but I had the worst experience with a few of my orders. The most recent was missing an item and I contacted customer support the day my order was delivered on September 8th. I have now had to reach out 3 separate times just to be told, “Thank You for getting back to us” along with what seems like a generic response about them trying to resolve the issue. I have been waiting to hear back from them, only to have to reach out myself to find that nothing has been done?! I’ll stick with the other online retailers like Farfetch and Mytheresa that I’ve had much better experience with. Never shopping here again.

Great selection. Slow shipping.
This online shop has some of the best selections in fashion. They used to be a super solid go to with helpful customer service and fast shipping. That sadly no longer exists. Have had to cancel orders that just never shipped. And now I have an order sitting there 5 days with no shipping updates. Their FAQ indicates 2 days max for outbound but I’ve not experienced this in a long time. Feels like they don’t care about their customers who have spent thousands and thousands over the years. Browse their selections but maybe order elsewhere.

FAULTY/ SCAMMING APP
First off , if you live in an “high risk “ area or the security team thinks is too middle class , SSENSE will not sell to you. Recently tried to purchase some Marc Jacobs items, went through a WHOLE security check to confirm my address , statements they pulled from my account and my government name. All to which they still never replied until 4 days later , saying my information couldn’t be confirmed so they’ve refunded my item (could y’all have atleast told me what else was wrong like you did when emailing me what other info they needed ?) I’m still on hold til this day just trying to ask when I will get my money back for my order you guys didn’t want to deliver to me.

Incredible App Design
The UX of this app is the best out there. It’s simple, it’s minimal, but the interactivity and the information as well as the different views showcasing the products is unparalleled. It gives the shopper a frictionless experience from opening the app all the way to checkout. This is all while not mentioning the product, range, and suggestions. Well done this should be the bar and standard.

Stay away from these crocks
Stay away from these inexperienced crocks. Made 4 purchase on this store using my same card for each transactions, yet their so call security team from the backend put my recent order on hold saying “Hi, We noticed that your Apple Pay account was used to complete SSENSE order” Please verify your Apple Pay address. You claim you’re a security team then do a proper check on the account order history before you put someone order on hold for no reason, check and see the same card was used the billing & shipping address is the same!! The have no experience and very unprofessional. Now it’s been 4 days since I responded to the team with my verified address & they still cannot respond, called the number about 30 times and all they keep saying is they will escalate it to the backend team since they don’t see any issue that could stop my order, These people have no experience & needs better training

My wife and I select items on here when we plan time for ourselves or when we are going out together. I’ve even found us getting each other gifts from here. WHAT A SCAM
My order took weeks to ship, and before it finally did I specifically requested to CANCEL my order as it took too long. This was done via phone. Seven days later my mail lady knocks on my door with my order and she says $250 is due in postage as it was sent COD. What on earth? Aside from already paying for shipping when I placed the order, and then CANCELLING my order, this scam of a company then sends it out via COD? Why on earth would I pay an hundreds of dollars extra for an order that I cancelled and paid for shipping on top of that? Bots respond to emails, the customer care team is clearly useless. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

Best clothing app
Honestly best clothing app i’ve ever had i use to use the website a lot as they don’t advertise the app much but they definitely put the money that would’ve been used for advertising for it to get the app as good as possible. just get it and wait for a sale or something you like no reason not to have it.

Best shopping app ever
Ssense’s app makes an overwhelming amount of choices very manageable. It does a could job of encouraging you to discover new designers, and puts designers in conversation with each other. My favorite feature is the side-scrolling to similar items when you have a specific item open. Love!

App does not work for me
I placed an order on the website as a guest two weeks ago, all I got was an order confirmation email and an email telling me about shipping delays. Since then I’ve tried countless times to create an account to cancel my order, but it’s just not working. I create an account, when I click the confirmation email afterwards it takes me to the login page in the app. When I enter my information it says that the account doesn’t exist. I’ve done this 20 times now and nothing changing. I cannot create an account.

Ordering is so frustrating
I’ve ordered from SSENSE three times and each time has been really difficult. The first time, my order was cancelled but I never got an email about it so I had to inquire and ask for a refund. Then I tried to reorder it and it was cancelled again. They offered me a 10% off coupon for the trouble so I tried a third time and it came in three weeks and I never got my discount because there’s no option for coupon codes. I don’t live in the middle of nowhere either so I’m really confused. Does this happen to anyone else??

Please fix
The app has two lines of address, but the website only has one line of address. What I encountered was that when I input my address on the app but ended up purchasing on the webpage, the system doesn’t capture the second line of address. Right now, I’m still waiting for my package to be delivered after empty promises from customer service that they would contact security and logistics and update me within 24 hours. First time experience ruined I guess…

I have been ordering clothes/accessories off of ssense for over a year now and absolutely love it. The shipping genuinely does only take 2 - 3 days at most, the app is so easy to use and reliable, and I always receive my packages seamlessly. Wish more apps/3rd party retailers were this efficient.

Excellent Selections
One aspect of SSENSE that I like is there is a wide array of pieces to choose from, it’s a creative collective of everything really! From high end designers to emerging street wear labels, which can rather be difficult to find in the United States. Regular department stores and certain boutiques are not as updated/refreshed in their categories. SSENSE is, and I’m excited to be a patron.

Worst app ever, and horrible CS
They never picked up phone or answer question via live chat. And when I was waiting for few hours, finally responded me via chat, but each question take 10mins to get answers. And my question through email about return-sale policy, then responded me almost a week ago after my item was already arrived. And the app has poor usability with tiny typo, it’s really hard to navigate things. Being a fashionable and minimal are fine for fashion, but not for app usability.

I love SSENSE. Every product that I bought is authentic. Prices are pretty much the same; however, there are always sales and private sales going on AND you can price match. Even though it ships from Canada, I get it within a good timeframe. App is easy to use, and so far, so good.

All-around great online experience. Like their selection of merchandise. Very deep selection for certain designers/brands. App is just great. One of the best! Only criticism is end of season sales could be more dramatic. Seems very conservative for most designer merchandise vs. promoted big discounts/70% off.

Feel Scammed
I placed an order for a very expensive item on this app… I was told that it was shipped but was never given proper tracking ID. After following up several times and not being able to contact anyone on the phone because “ the lines were closed“. I haven’t received the item and have followed up several times noting this. They’ve not replaced the item or come up with any solution. Be careful if you’re purchasing anything pricey on this app.

Random inconvenience
Went on the app and was randomly logged off couldn’t remember the password so I got a link I changed the password but in order to be able to log in it send me to type in my old password and new password how can I proceed if I can’t remember the old password isn’t that the point of making a new one?

I’m getting cancelled twice on the same order. And you said that the reason for this is because I’m using a debit card from the Wells Fargo bank which is one of the biggest bank in the USA and it’s still can’t credit my account???? At least if my card is not available you should let me change the payment method not cancel my order twice I ordered this product for almost three weeks until it was out of stock.

BEWARE - They Sell Counterfeit Products!
Beware, this company sells fake products. I ordered an expensive bottle of perfume only to receive a small bottle of alcohol. I've used the same perfume for years and have primarily bought it from Saks with no issues. Upon contacting their customer service I was just told to jump through a bunch of hoops and got connected to another person for another round of hoops. Unfortunately, I decided to trust this app once. Never again...

The worst app
I have never met the condition that my order was not shipped for 20 days and replaced due to the missing items. You could have enough time to figure out the stocks. Right now you just cancel and replace the customers' order randomly. I am very unsatisfied and angry. Also, you have promised that you will place 15% on my current order and then for the next chat you said it was for next order. Excuse me! I could not tolerate this.

I love SSENSE, but..... did developers or founders try to surf through the app and shop themselves??? If I tap on something on wishlist and then want to come back it brings me on home page. If I search a brand in women’s section and then tap to men’s it brings me back to home page. Searching something on this app is impossible. I understand you wanted to make it cool and minimalist but can you also consider it user-friendly? I’m going back to my laptop for shopping...

Terrible Customer Service
I returned some shoes in February because they came apart in a matter of days. I shipped the shoes back to Ssense and have been waiting 10 months for a refund, and still have not received anything, only a 10% discount on up to $100. I really expected higher quality in both the item and customer service given the price of the shoes. It’s extremely unreasonable to wait 10+ months for a refund for any product. Do not trust this company with your money.
