For the last week … this is the message that pops up on the app. “The system is currently busy. please try again later.” At the bottom of the message is a button that says . When you push it, the same message pops up. Thank goodness I have an email ticket from them but I prefer getting my boarding passes for my wallet instead of having to search emails. Anyhow - I hear the airlines is nice - the app just is not functional as of this review.
This is the first I am reviewing apps. I know they are new and need a lot of fixes. The app does not respond by entering the booking. You have to press the button twice before taking it. I booked a ticket with Alaska Airlines and can not manage my booking. Keep saying I am entering the wrong or missing. I chatted with customer support and they said. They see my booking but I can not manage my booking. Because I do not book directly with Starlux. At any other airline, you can see the booking without where you are booking the ticket.
The most important part of an app like this is to be able to access flight information for international travel. I repeatedly get an error that says my information doesn’t match or that I have no upcoming flights — but my info is correct and I do have an upcoming flight. I need to be able to access my miles with their partner airline (Alaska) — which was offered upon booking, but no luck there either. I have my flight confirmation number and no way to know if the flight is real, contact customer service, check-in, access updates, etc. via this app. The website worked smoothly, but the app needs major help before I book a STARLUX flight again 😕
So far so good with the app and experience. I hope everything will go well on my flight . Will update next year after mg flight until i come back here in the USA
Haven’t been able to access the app at all for two days and we’re flying tonight. First time flying starlux and hoping the flight experience is better than the app!
Stuck at the startup picture. Close and reopen won’t fix the problem. I see user complained about the same issue a year ago!! Horrible to see STARLUX incapable to fix such a basic for so long! How reliable the flight will be?!
I tried to add my trip to this app but using Starlux confirmation number and E-ticket number, and nothing actually worked. To put it simple, the Starlux has no clue to develop an app which can actually work to help its customers.
I have to add my trip every time I close and open the app. I’m not logged in, but what’s the purpose of having add trip feature if it’s not saving my trip ?
Do you know why did your staff ask for phone number even I showed her my Cosmile ID?
This is for Frequent Flyer Number 104261640. We needed to do 2nd check in at a counter with STARLUX’s staff for a connecting fly from Taoyuan to LAX. She asked me for my contact phone number to be written on a piece of paper, not a form. I showed her my STARLUX card on Apple Wallet with my Cosmile ID: when setting up my Cosmile account, I did input my address, my phone number, my email, my passport number, my ZIP code, I even taught your IT team who programmed the mobile app how to fix the field for customer to enter an U.S. ZIP code, etc… She did not check my so-called your membership card nor member ID. She continued asking me to write down my phone number on that piece of paper. What did you do for the Cosmile ID? Why did you grant an ID for your so-called member? Hope you can treat your Cosmile member appropriately.
This is my first time trying out this airline 2more days to fly but still can’t add my trips to the app. Poor App. Poor Customer service via e-mail. I live in USA. I e-mail them in English but They reply in Chinese language.
I don’t know if a airliner company who can afford some commercial airliners from Airbus, but can’t afford a good team to make their app works, what’s the point??
Just as with their website cannot add a trip with either confirmation code or e-ticket number. App is, therefore, useless since one cannot check-in with app, change seats, pre-select meal, check flight status, get flight alerts etc. Starlux won’t let me even select my seat without calling them, waiting on hold, then getting a call back hours later. No other carrier - and this includes very low cost airlines - has such issues with their app or website. I realize their flying experience is pretty good but not worth this hassle.

Suggest upgrading to the latest version of iOS for better service.
