Newest update has more modern look & so far have had no issues. However, it would be really nice if you could put a ‘back’ tab on the Obituaries so you don’t have to start over each time you look at one. Right now the ‘back’ tab takes you to Home page of News, not Obits. Please add with next update. Also, lower the price to something a bit more reasonable, paying $1.99 per day is way too much. I pay less than $48 per year for E-Editions of daily papers from much larger cities. Would love a reasonable yearly price. Thanks.
I subscribe the our towns local newspaper The Herald in downtown Sharon Pennsylvania. I was born here and came back to retire and live out my days here. I like the local news aspect of the paper very much. There’s something about holding it, flipping the page and the smell of the ink on paper vibe I love. The content is good to great. The paper is in a red state but they do slip in some left sided content to help balance it all out. Dennis T

I tried to purchase a single copy of the ePaper edition and could not access it. The app charged my iTunes account twice. That's $ 1.99 x 2 and I could not access the ePaper edition. When I called the Sharon Herald the person that I spoke with told me they were not aware of anyone being able to purchase a single ePaper copy and thought you could only purchase a monthly subscription.
This app needs an overhaul. The navigation is horribly unintuitive. As a print/digital subscriber to The Herald, I'm annoyed by the abundance of obtrusive ads that overwhelm the content.
