I was a subscriber for many years but had to quit because 95% of the articles were anti-republican. I am now on a 3 month trial period to see how the paper is now. Since Trump is not president now instead of 95% republican bashing they seem down to 75% republican bashing. A great majority of the articles in this paper are from the Associated Press, highly biased, the same as in the Detroit News/Detroit FreePress so for me a lot of the same articles in both papers. The Macomb Daily should be more focused on local news and get less biased. This paper will not be Around in a few years IMO. Republicans subscribe to newspapers more than democrats, but I guess writers, newspapers are not run by good business people. CNN is laying off many employees now and newspapers are going out of business everyday. When my trial of this paper expires I will not subscribe.
I would like to compliment the Macomb Daily App. I readies just like getting a real newspaper delivered every day. I did have to learn to navigate, but once I found my way around it works just like reading an old fashioned paper. My only wish for change would be able to enlarge the photos in each article to view more details.
Very easy to use, never lets me down, as far as opening, and being readable. No news paper print to store or recycle, should have done this years ago. Thanks JW
Nobody wants to have to zoom in on article after article just to decide if they want to read it, and move the pages all over the phone screen....headlines with preview links to articles....you should have asked people who get all their news from phones and tablets ... I don’t at all mind the local ads that pay for your jobs and our access, but there has to be a better way of presenting them than copying a 200 year old format onto a 6 inch screen...
I’ve had multiple issues just trying to get into the app. I’ve been signed in and verified every time I want to use it. Sometimes I can get in but most of the time I’m stuck with the processing wheel. Nobody wants to take all day to look at the paper. Figure it out. Until then I won’t give you the benefit of a star. Well they’re making me put something so consider my star a Stan minus.
The Macomb Daily e-Edition app lets readers access their favorite paper on an iOS device with all the stories, ads and photos shown exactly as it appears in print. The app users iOS multi-touch screen features to provide fast and easy navigation and natural paper-linke reading experience. Flip pages and drill down to individual stories.
