We used to be able to get articles on the full screen. Now it’s a split screen and I have to tap on each page to get it enlarged. We also have to constantly re-sign in — the app shows blank pages, when we’re reading, it shuts down for no reason, and there are too many ads!
Worst customer support ever. I’m lucky if I can log onto the epaper 1/10 times. I constantly get the error message “too many attempts” whatever that means. I’ve made multiple complaints with multiple promises to “look into it and get back you”.........NOTHING !
Great way to catch up on current events, weather and traffic delays
Nice app to keep you updated with local events, traffic and weather. Just wished I would have found out about a Caribbean Festival on the beach of AC,NJ. That sounds like I missed a great experience.
I know things are tough in the newspaper business right now, but nonews app should ever force you to watch an ad just to get to the headlines. Even worse to force subscribers to do so! It's time for me to unsubcribe
This paper will fold SOON! There are like 5 people that work there and most headlines come from AP or other network news sources, and they still manage to screw that up too. Don’t even get me started on their technology! Good riddance!
They haven’t changed their opening page or top stories in three days.....certainly there has been something new happening in the area. The paper version has but not the app.
This edition of the Press provides current and vital news for Southern New Jersey that is impossible to find anywhere else, until that news is stale! Frequently updated as news occurs! This is the best thing going for the Atlantic City region population who care about what is happening. Ok, yes there are lots of advert, so what! The printed paper has that too! Only deficit, is some stories are chopped up, with passages of other (or related) stories. The proofreader at The Press could do a better job before posting- but hey!, poor proofreading has always been part of the charm of the printed edition also!
I have 5 newspaper apps. Yours is the only one that limits 15 follow ups. By the way. That’s been out of whack for the past 3 months. Much like the AC government
The new format is easy to use.. It does have more pop ups that other online news. Sources. It was hard to log on at first. I never log off now. Graphics are much better.
If you live in or moved away from South Jersey this app will keep you up to snuff on the local information that is lacking in TV coverage and that the neighborhood weeklies can't get to you when you need to know it. Well worth the subscription.
I only many steps if you are a subscriber in order to get to current paper. Also, if I need to check email or move away from the page, I does not save my spot and I have to star all over again, take three steps to get back to the main page and find my spot again. Big time waster.
I am not a full time resident of Atlantic County and rely on the Press on line to keep me informed. I really believe that the press is one of the top newspapers because of both the depth of news coverage of many communities and subjects. I could not envision beginning each day without it. Bob
I like this app because it lets me stay in touch with the happenings at the shore. Let's me feel like I'm still a part of it. Do wish though that it posted more info about surrounding areas like Margate, Ventnor etc. overall, I am very pleased.
The Press of AC app keeps me up to date with weather and breaking news all day. It is a great app even though I read the print edition every morning and indispensable to have when I am away from home.
This app is outstanding. Loads fast. Pictures are sharp. Reads easy. Good coverage of international and national news however, Outstanding Coverage on Local News!
Saved my four kids from a fire AND gave me the latest on the impending Taj Mahal closure. What more could you want? Nothing, that's what more you could want.
I find this app to be very comfortable. The headlines, the events, the culture. I use this daily to find out the basics of what's happening in Alantic city. Since I don't have access to the paper, this keeps me informed. I enjoy using this app.
Being interested in the success of Atlantic City, it's people, and both its casino and non-casino endeavors, this app presents the hot topics in a timely and concise manner.
