Good But...

I like it i guess It's like most of the comic apps with the only being able to read like 5 chapters before you MUST buy the VIP to read the rest I get the fact that the authors need to be paid for their hard work and the app itself needs profit so I'm not here to complain about that (I'm not really financially able to buy the VIP or i would, i know its cheap but I cant really do away with my money like that when i can use it for more important things) I've read most of the free comics (even some in genres I'm not too interested in) and there's not that many in there. It would be nice if there were more I wouldn't mind if there wasn't more anyhow. It was just a suggestion <3

Issue as VIP member

I downloaded this app so I can read a certain BL comic. I had to pay to read most of the chapters, which wasn’t a problem at all. But after finishing the story in less than 24 hours, I find myself not using the app after that for the rest of the year. It’s been 7 months since then and I literally found out TODAY that the membership required RECURRING payments. That means I’ve been billed almost 10 bucks for the past 7 months despite me never going on the app after using it in May. Upon reading their FAQ and TOS, it has come to my attention that I won’t ever get my money back simply because I completely read through the same comic in less than 24 hours. I like to think I’m legally supporting the content creators with my contribution but the fact that I barely went on the app for the majority of the year is a little... displeasing? I admit that I am to blame for being unaware of my blunder but at the time I signed up for the membership, my only option was to go for the one month plan since that seemed the cheapest. But it seems I misinterpreted it. Maybe to prevent this mistake from happening, the company ought to offer more flexible options like one-time payments to earning a fixed amount of coins like what other companies do...

Horrible customer service

I had forgotten and entered in my password incorrectly a couple of times. I am not even able to recover or reset it, due to my account being locked. I contact their help center with no help. Only a reply saying my account was flagged due to suspicious activity. Entering my password wrong can be considered suspicious. I’ve read many comments with the similar issues. I know I’m not the only one with this problem. The only reason I have an issue is because I paid for the VIP subscription membership. Meaning they automatically take money from you every month. And now I can’t even log in. I understand their concerns about getting their content stollen and reposted. This is an unfair process for both sides. There’s no way to redeem yourself, when they already assumed you were pirating their content. It’s frustrating especially when I don’t do anything wrong. I hope this flawed system gets fixed. If people want to know how to cancel their subscriptions, either contact your bank to cancel recurring payments, or go to your PayPal account and do the same. Just take the loss of previous payments if they can’t be refunded, and prevent further payments. Or they will keep taking your money every month. Whoever is in charge needs to fix this.

The problems I have with it

I first got this app because I wanted multiple apps for comics, and there was one comic I loved reading called “I choose you!” Plus I heard good things about this app. In my experience lots of the comics had VIP only. I still found a few which you would unlock every week and read them. I usually only check this app a few times a month. I went to check on the app recently and found almost all of the comics I really liked had become VIP, and I was almost done with them. another point is unlike WEBTOON where everyone gets the episodes of a comic unlocked at the same time, so if you pick up a comic that already has published 50 eps, you can read those 50 until you catch up. I don’t read on this app as much so I don’t know if it has contests like WEBTOON but on WEBTOON there’s usually atleast one contest a month where you can earn enough coins to unlock an episode and read ahead. Also everything on WEBTOON you read you can get for free if you wait. I guess the main problem with this app is you can get around not using money on it. If your able to pay money for it then overall it’s a fine app, the stories are good it’s just frustrating.

100% would recommend

I started reading toomics on the web page. I originally added that to my Home Screen. I still have it save one there just in case anything pops up. I love the content and I feel it’s exactly what I’m looking for a lot more hard core graphic novels that actually keep my interest. Yes there 18+ NSFW stuff so if your looking for that toomics has that. There’s also a family friendly filter if you don’t want to be bombarded with see that too which is nice. Plus the price is right it’s cheap and there’s a few different plans you can choose. I recommend if your looking for some good reads. Trust me from my experience the just get the vip right away because once you start a good one you’ll get hooked and want to read more and more.

EXACTLY what I was looking for!

I only recently got into these free comic apps but all of them have no (or had to remove all) NSFW content to appease the wimps at apple. I’m so glad their Toomics ad was in my YT feed because it’s just what I’ve been looking for...18+ comics done in beautifully drawn images. And the price for VIP membership is VERY reasonable, unlike some apps that want you to pay $5/week to view their regular content. I not a VIP member yet, but I do plan on becoming one. The only question/concern that I have is from what I’ve seen with the free issues, all lower-regions are CENSORED with a blanked out/white spaces. Top nudity is the only thing it shows. Is this how it is for all your 18+ comics, or is it only because I was reading the free issues and that VIP issues are NOT censored? I look forward to your reply. Thank you.

The “Free” option

So apparently after a update on TOOMICS did, they deleted a category called “Free”, so I don’t know why they did that but after reading those comics in my whole summer, they have inspired and made my day just a little better. But now because every TOOMICS comic that I liked now costs money, It destroyed my whole months of reading and now has made me more depressed that I am right now. Thir is probably why I like WEBTOON better that what this app has given me. I mean it was called VIP for a reason, it was for VIP comics. Sorry creators of the TOOMICS app but, Because of this stupid update that has happened I deleted the app and I won’t download it again until I would like the free option back. It’s been a good run for my whole 3-4 months of enjoyment, but your not taking 8 or 9 bucks from me just for a month of interesting and cool creators on TOOMICS.

Pretty frustrating changes

I’ve had a Toomics account for more than a year. At first I didn’t pay much attention to the VIP status or coins needed to read already ended stories. And so I went ahead and started reading about 6 different stories that were updating weekly. I went on a break for a month after following these stories for more than a year and once I reinstalled Toomics I found that though they hadn’t ended you had to have VIP status to read them. Now I can’t finish them and I’m not getting VIP considering it costs more than Netflix per month. I’ll still give 2 stars because the Authors are good. The main reason people get the VIP is to able to read the sexual content from a browser but since this is the App Store I believe your aims should be a little different considering you can’t read those on here.

Trouble signing in

So I downloaded the app in august 2019, signed up with my gmail for the VIP account. I never had issues like a couple days ago. It says somethings wrong with my gmail. I follow the specific instructions to fix the problem and still nothing! I even went to my gmail account to see if the app’s access was removed (because it’s a third party sign in) and it wasn’t. So I don’t know what’s the real issue. Also, the website can’t even load thru safari or chrome to see if I can sign in and the browser says it’s unavailable. I don’t like to waste money and also still be charged every month if I can’t get into my account. It’ll be a real shame if my account was somehow deleted for whatever reason and I don’t have any knowledge to it.

Refuse to pay

It’s awesome to read these comics but the major problem is the “vip” option. Sure pay gain unlimited access cancel anytime but I refuse to pay to read. The comic I want to read only has two chapters unlocked while the rest is full “vip” plus the I checked the date the 3rd chapter update was last year and you still need a “VIP”! I would honestly deduct more stars but at least some chapters are unlocked but still not cool with “vip” option Part 2 of review and I’m annoyed, why? Same as before VIP? Just one chapter left to read on a comic I’m reading since it started and that last chapter requires what the “VIP”. There is no other way to read it asides from the pay-to-read option which you know where I stand in that opinion.

Love the Art & Storyline

Comment box: I like that there’s a rating box, but I would love to leave some comments. It always fun to read what people are thinking as well. I want to share my thoughts on the story line and see what people have to say about it. There some story where I want to suggest a sequel to it. Edit tips: I love to reread and take my time looking at the artwork put into it. I appreciate the author & illustrator, however there were some minor mistakes that I would like to suggest. Also, some of the reading were missing certain words and it didn’t flow right. I would like to leave some edit comments for the artist and author. Family & Adult Content: Both are great. However, I purchased the VIP to remove the censor on the adult content. Appartently, it doesn’t do that. I don’t mind how it is now. But if its continued to be censor then why do we have to pay? Overall: Great job! This is like my escape place when I’m overwhelmed with life in general (work & home). Thank you & alofa atu. From Samoa!

Adult Webtoons

Don’t be fooled by the 12+ rating on the App Store. TOOMICS is an adult service as its main site features a hefty amount of adult content. This service is... decent, if annoying. The service that you get with your paid subscription is bs though. All adult content below the waist is censored out. That being said, some of the stories in this are nuts and emotional roller coasters that I’d recommend to anyone. The first one being Asura. A wonderful action comic that features no adult content and has some REALLY good concepts. The next one is called “The Sharehouse”. An adult comic with a gobsmackingly good story. The best way to describe it would be “Come to fap stay for story” The incredible stories personally make me say that it’s worth it however it’s a paid subscription with censorship on adult content that you ARE PAYING TO GET. Either way, the stories make it worth the money, the adult content (that is only available via the browser based site) is a bonus, but it’s still very VERY annoying and im hoping this changes. 3/5 stars because censorship in a paid subscription.

Inconsistent with Room For Improvement

I Think Toonmic is a great platform for Adult manga and Comics, but the app forces the user to have VIP Access to view all of the content. However, the app doesn’t have the option to buy coins like on the website. Also the rate at which content is uploaded on the toonmic platform is somewhat reduced. I found content on the website version than the app itself. This app has the potential to be really good, if the app could give the user the same experience as it would be if you use the website.

Phenomenal material

I have enjoyed this ever since the first time that I got it! It is paid for itself time and time again! If you were looking for something that will allow you to experience good storytelling and great artwork, this is the app for you. It’s always amazing seeing how the artist and the storyteller come together to create phenomenal stories. I haven’t been able to put it down, and every story gets better time after time. Again this is definitely worth the money you spend.

VIP no longer working?

I love this app and their comics, I usually long into my vip account on the web for the adult comics. However I remember that my vip was renewed yesterday, and so I was in the middle of reading a comic and it kicked me out because I didn’t have vip on? Then I went back to the app and it told me to purchase a vip membership, so I tried to and it said I already had one and it would renew on the 22nd of June, but then it said the purchase failed. On the App Store it says that I have the subscription to the Vip, and I’ve tried clicking the restore button and it won’t work. I’m very confused and now am no longer able to read the comics I loved dearly.

Free comics are free comics

Sure the app has little kinks here and there, but who are us readers kidding. We get provided top tier comics for free, and for the VIP either pay or if you want to watch it badly enough, then just look it up through a internet source. While other sources are available, I highly recommend using VIP because the authors usually make a living off their work. I get it. Some people might not be able to afford, but that is where the third source sites come in to play. P.S. highly recommend Warble, Leviathan, and Ultimiter

iPad Landscape, All Ages Only Content, Obligatory App

It is pretty straight forward. An app to browse and read Toomics catalogue of webcomics/webtoons that is legal, supports the artists and authors. It operates much like their browser version with favorites and recently read more easily accessible. However… the app is locked in Portrait mode, no Landscape view; something their website provides. The app has restricted content over iOS policies. The website does not. So the more immersive read from the app works in portrait mode for All Ages content. This app is obligatory. No wonder it is not even promoted on the website. Great stories on TOOMICS, including the adult webcomics. But the app isn’t going to be of any help.

It’s good but...

Toomics is a great app, and I see what the goal of this app was, but it didn’t hit the spot as it was supposed too. Toomics VIP membership helps influence writer’s continue to write story’s and helps the app as a whole. I understand the very well, but maybe it would be better to reconstruct it a little for the people that don’t have enough money or just won’t spend money like me. Just to do it like Webtoon, and instead of buying a membership to read the rest of a comic, just make a currency, that buyable for ongoing comics. and for shows that ended, should be free to read. Making it this way will influence writers to continue to make more comics, this will also be a good way to get more people to buy the currency. With the membership still up, people have decided to delete the app instead of paying for the membership. This is just my opinion tho

Family on

I used your website more than a month and I really like it... So, I downloaded the app and payed for a month recently... Only 2 days spent..... And what I found is in here your family mode thing can’t be disable.... What is the meaning of that?????? I am really disappointed really..... Your website is much better than your website!!!! Probably overpriced, no download option and poor optimization

The price is a bit heavy. There’s no option for downloading manwha so you can read offline on trains or planes. Even when you have 500mbps download, you will still often run into the “loading comic” screen. The quality of the image and the functionality is all fine. They have some great content on here, but honestly Webtoons is just far and above the better platform. Also it’s missing a comments section, which is just a bad decision.

Can’t get vip service but great content.

I saw and add for TOOMICS and I enjoyed a lot of the apps content and I was okay with buying a year membership so I don’t have to worry about it that much. But when I went to the page to buy the service it said that the severs were down. So I waited a few day and see if it was better and then 2 days turned into 3 days and three days turned into a week. It’s probably something on my end or on there end but I honestly just wanna get started.

Get WEBTOON instead

While this app has many amazing looking comics to offer readers, you only have access to the first 3-4 episodes before it’s VIP only. And every comic that isn’t strictly vip seems short. I started a series called Annoying Alice which was a completely free comic, I got to issue 95 and stopped reading for about a month. I came back to finish the last five issues and the whole series was made VIP only. So I couldn’t even finish it. I completely understand that you pay to support the artists, and being an artist I am behind this idea. But I believe WEBTOON does it better by allowing anyone to read the comics for free but requiring payment to have earlier access to newer issues.

I don’t recommend unless you are fine with subscription

I got this app and started reading a few free series that only go to it. The problem I find with this app is that when someone reads a free series to the end but off by a page or 2 can’t finish reading that series because it become paid for content. An example would be ranger dolls. I was reading it till it’s last to pages and then the whole series became a subscription series and I could not finish it. Now the only reason why this app is getting 2 stars would be because of its interesting series’s other then that it needs improvementents

Tells you if the series is complete or not.

My favorite thing about this app is it tells you if the series has the start to finish episodes. I hated starting to read a comic and find out it’s only just started by the time I go to the last available episode, the stories are all good I think the online version has more rated R stories also are if that’s what your into.

Can’t stay logged in

My only real issue is when I use the app my account won’t stay logged in. I still get to read the vip since I have a subscription but when I try to favorite something I have to log in every time. Also when I switch between web browser and app some of the comics aren’t showing under the favorites. I know the 18+ won’t show but even some of the family friendly ones won’t show.

Can’t find what’s in the ads

I downloaded the app to read some of the interesting stories that were in the ads. I could never find any of them and the search feature seems to be somewhat broken. I’m paying the sub fee and still can’t ever find any of the ones that come up on the ads. The stories I can find however are pretty good and the experience overall for the app. I’ll raise my rating if they inhide these stories and make the search feature easier to work with.

My VIP membership only works in App

So I was really enjoying this app I decided that for the first time in my life I’m going to pay so I can continue enjoying the comics. I did that because I thought that I could get the same assess when I used the website since some of the comics I started reading on the website wasn’t on the app. But to my surprise when I logged in with the same email I used with the app, it’s saying I have to purchase VIP when I already am a VIP member. I’m so frustrated I even paused my subscription because if this is going to be a long term problem I don’t think I should keep my subscription. I even went as far to to text you guys on Instagram because that’s were I was introduced to the app. Please tell me this isn’t going to be a long term problem. 🥺

Great app BUT could be better

For all the people who paid for a membership The reason why you can’t use it is because every time you go onto The app it logs you off your account. I love this app but I don’t want to have to keep logging in every time I get back on the app and a lot of people think they lose their memberships when they really don’t they’ve just been locked out of their accounts

Bugs

As soon as I downloaded the app I was super excited I used to read these online all the time. However when I signed into my account all my tabs go white screened and just start loading but nothing ever comes up. I can browse the site without signing in if I uninstall and reinstall it… please help

I love the vip I love just paying once and being able to read anything with my membership vs all these other apps that charge your for only a few shells, vouchers, tokens whatever they use they charge a lot and only give a little you can’t even finish an entire series without needing to waste over $20

Love .... but

The only two things I dislike about this app is that there isn’t a comment section and that comics show up in “comics you like” that I can’t access or read. It’s a weird glitch that I can’t read comics that supposedly exist... It would improve the quality of the app lots if comments were added and the glitch was fixed!!! Thank you lots 💞

It’s ok

App doesn’t let you view non family friendly content unless on the web page which is very inconvenient but isn’t too big a problem main issue that is holding back the full 5 stars is that the webpage has NO DARK MODE who wants to have their retinas retain permanent damage when opening something to read like really why is this not a feature already?

The update

So before this app there was no vip thing and for some of the comics u would get a free episode every week but now u need vip to read further. I even made an account and started reading again and u couldn’t get passed the first episode without getting hit with the vip sign. Now how are u going to know if u like a comic without the reading the first three episodes. You can’t tell what the plot is gonna be by just the first chapter. Usually it’s just a visually picture of the summary.

I’m gonna keep this short and sweet. This is as good as it’s gonna get. It’s got just about everything you want out of a web comic app. It has a lot of good reads in its catalog and there’s a filter to keep any +18 content out if you don’t want to see that which a lot of others don’t so big ups for that!

DO NOT PUT YOUR PAYMENT INFORMATION INTO THIS APP

I deleted my account and then canceled my subscription. I continue to get charged…..I then tried to log back into my account even tho I deleted but because I continue to get charged I thought maybe my account never got deleted. Well when I tried to log into my account it said account deleted. So why am I still being charged????????? And now you guys won’t let me even to change any payment information because there’s no account yet you still pull from my debit cards. I am confused?

Am I getting scammed

So I bought a 3 month membership for TOOMICS and it didn’t work. I feel I lost money but I couldn’t remember if I was logged into my account or not so I bought a one month subscription and that didn’t work. Are you guys a legit business or are you faking people out of there money. If you can resolve my issue I would just like a refund for the one month. I love this app and want to keep using it but with me not ring able to read what’s the point.

Having to pay for most things is really dumb

To unlock most of the web comics you need to get coins or buy the vip pass which is fine but most people just wouldn’t buy it so why not have a option to either do those to or watch a ad to unlock it for ever so you still get money but more people will be able to do it so in the long run you would be earning more money, and/or have some kind of daily pass so people aren’t forced to pay for half to three-quarters of the app monthly

Still can't turn off family mode

It's really annoying that you can't turn off family mode still. Like can't you require a password to turn it off to prevent anyone under 18 from accessing it? Why am I paying for vip and then can only use the website? App is fine other then that but it's so annoying that there's still no solution to this.

Great Content

The webtoons on Toomics are amazing even the ones that are in family safe mode. If I may suggest an app update though...I travel a lot for my job and I like to read these. Is it possible to have a way to download a series to read without being connected to the internet? The marvel comic app I have allows me to download the comics as long as I'm a paying member. Perhaps this is an option for toomics as well

Mobile App vs website

I love TOOMICS I love everything bout it. I just wish I’m able to take off the FAMILY MOOD on the mobile app instead of always having to go to the website. I’m over 20 years old and I should be able to use the app the same as the website.

SUBSCRIPTION

I accidentally deactivated my account and I’m just wondering why am I still getting charged $8.99. I don’t know how or what to do in this situation. I tried logging into my other existing accounts checking if those accounts have premium but it’s the deactivated account. Literally I’m sending so many emails just to cancel this subscription and none is replying back to me! I tried both emails. Y’all need to work on getting back to people faster. It’s been two months just trying to cancel the premium

Bug problem

I just bought vip today so I could binge read manga. I read for mabye an hour before the app stoped working. Then I went to log in on a browser instead and it keeps sending back to the login screen after putting in my information. Then when I went to make a new account it said there was an error. Is it possible that the severes are just down for maintenance now and I didn’t see the notice?

To tired of loop holes to read one comic.

I enjoy reading online comic books however, there seem to be too much hoops to jump through to read one comic that they advertise. They dont sell coins for the store app and they dont even carry the comic in app only one website. Very inconvenient and to tired-some to even try to read the comic book cause of it. Which is sad cause i really want to read what they have. Maybe if they allow more of a library and make buying coins easier on app maybe i will come back but for the most part i am deleting the app.

I purchased a vip membership simply because I like the art style and the 18+ NSFW content but I was very disappointed to find out that I cannot view 18+ NSFW content within the app, I am disappointed in this but I am still happy with my purchase because I can view the 18+ NSFW content on google and I also like the regular comics that are offered

Not all of the stories are there

I first found the website from Twitter and I love the stories. There were lots of good ones but some were in the 18+ section. I wanted to continue some of the stories on the app because it’s annoying having to go to the website on my phone. Why can’t the app have the 18+ stories? Their very good stories. Why can’t they do like an age verification on the app like putting your credit card.

Bug where i get logged out of app every time i tap a episode to read?

Ive had this new bug with the update where every time i try to read a new chapter on aye comic it signs me out of the app and then i have to sign back in just to read a comic, otherwise if i don't it says i have to download the app ( which i already have obviously) or buy a vip membership. Could i get some feedback on this? Will update to 5 stars when fixed

Easy to use but very glitchy.

Definitely self explanatory and easy to use. Sometimes will glitch in the middle of a story and freeze/not load. Exiting and restarting the app usually helps. Very frustrating that no matter how many times I click “keep me signed in” I always have to re-sign in when starting the app. I also would like to be able to turn off family friendly mode

Mature Content Not Available

It's really annoying that the website logs me out and I have to continuously sign back in to re-read the same chapter again once I'm signed back in. If I leave the page for a minute it signs me out and I'm back to square one. I got the app so I could read my comics and not have this issue, but Mature content, that I pay for as a VIP isn't available. Why am I paying money for comics that I can't even access across all platforms? It seems more like a rip off if I can't use read the content as I pay for it.

What can I say hmmmmm well I’ll start off saying that you have to be a vip to read a comic and paying for it is coconuts and i like the app but if it changes like a little like for the peps who don’t want to pay can you just put a day of numbers that we can wait to read the comic because I want to read supernova but it like no and I’m like Nani and I got mad at it but I can’t do that much about it that why I put 3/5 stars on it but yo it’s nice Sincerely Oscar ‘\_[owo]/‘

I made an account with my AppleID & when I initially signed in, all was good. I just couldn’t find the comic that I wanted on the mobile app, but I did find it on my pc. When I tried adding another comic to my favorites on the mobile app, it told me to sign in... when I already did. That’s when the bug happened, constantly telling me to sign in & not letting me favorite the comic. So not only can I not add comics that I like to my favorites, it’s constantly telling me to sign in... the mobile app is broken for me. Have to use pc
