Trailhead GO

Have been working on Salesforce Trailhead for 2.5 years. It is so much more than learning Salesforce and has been highly beneficial to me. Best advice, start with the cert you want to attain and dig in on that trail head. Along the way, there will be other suggested badges and you can customize your own trails to learn about various topics. Give yourself some time to search out badges that are unrelated to the trails you are on. There are badges for topics such as leadership, sustainability, project management, etc. I have developed several next step trails so that I can continue my educational aspirations. There is no replacement for hands-on learning on the job. The trails and modules with Videos and Videos of User Stories are much easier to understand than those without videos, links to videos or images that convey the learning. Trailhead has allowed me to have a very broad understanding of ALL that Salesforce, Mulesoft, Slack, APIs, and modern CRM cloud technology can do. It has also allowed me to see that Salesforce CRM is “everywhere” in almost every industry and non-profit. There was a time, many years ago, when I was that person asking, “What is Salesforce?” “What does Salesforce do?” I am far along in my Trailhead journey, and though I still consider myself a marketing graphic designer and writer, I would not want to work at Salesforce if I didn’t understand all that they do in the world. Trailhead is a great way to learn how modern cloud technology is utilized in business, schools, hospitals and nonprofits. It is a free education that can learn to a greater appreciation and understanding of current technology and trends in the business world.

I love using the Trailhead GO app for completing modules on my iPhone and iPad, but I wish it had an offline mode and here’s my user story: As a Trailhead learner planning a trip by airplane, I want to download modules while still on Wifi before getting on an airplane, and then when in the air I could study the downloaded module, and then when back on the ground and on wifi I could take the quiz. Also, I would like an easier way to find the module I was last reading (just like how web browsers have a history). And I would like an easier way to organize my next-up modules. Finally, as a 4x certified user, I would like a clearer listing of the modules I need to complete to maintain my certs.

They write and source modules not just on the technical concepts but also cover a lot on the the domain knowledge on Sales, service , marketing and several business areas where the technology is relevant. This focus on the business side of things and earning those badges can clearly make a developer, architect or other techie separate out from the crowd and feel super satisfied. It leaves you to learn and earn more badges 👍

I had to use this service for a college assignment. My teacher simply wanted us to earn badges relating to different facets of Marketing. I’ve completed four badges now, and I feel so much more confident in my marketing strategies! I market for a small business, and this service helped me hone in on relevant skills. I would encourage any small business owners, employees or individuals that want to learn new skills to add to their resume to use this service!

Both for the content and the layout / user experience, this app is very easy to use and a great product. You can use it for long sessions, but it’s also great when you want to hit a topic and you only have < 30 minutes I truly hope all Salesforce based mobile apps will use something g like this format in the future. Wonderful app! Great to learn on the go!!my only feedback would be to remove hands on training from the app. I don’t believe many people will be able to configure and flip between the app. My other piece of feedback is that the search function doesn’t work that well. Lastly, in trail mixes it would be great if you could see items as completed without having to click into them. I find myself constantly going to start a module within a trailmix just to find out I have already completed it.

This app without fail will crash on me most of the time when I’m trying to post a question in the community. I add and save the title and then it freezes. If I wait about a minute, it then crashes. Relaunching does not clear the issue. It’s been happening since before iOS 15 and with both of my iPhones 11 and 13. Very frustrating. As a result I have to pull out my computer to ask a question. Except for that, the app is great for on-the-go-learning.

I’m happy to see Salesforce finally made it easier to improve our skills and meet our goals on a mobile platform. The overall layout and functionality are great but there are a few things missing. For instance, it would be nice to have the ability to mark trails, modules, etc. as favorites for working later. Navigating available content with advanced filtering would also be nice. It’s a great start and I’m looking forward to what is to come.

Just the other day as I was skilling up on the trailhead website I thought to myself how convenient it would be to do this on my iPad. Then while reading some of the announcements at Dreamforce I came across the announcement of this app - and it does not disappoint! It works exactly how it should and I’m excited to keep learning more. I’ll update this review in a month or two and let you know how it goes.

The Trailhead app so incredible for up-leveling my skills. It makes learning new things easy and fun. I love earning badges and the content is incredibly high-quality. I feel great about Salesforce as a brand overall because they’re socially responsible. Well done to the people that built this app and the content and design behind it!

I wish I could use the playground on the phone app but just being able to learn and do quizzes on the app is more than enough. Fast and quick access all of the time paired with amazing ux / ui design is amazing. I am absolutely in love with it and use it anytime I don’t use trailhead on the phone.

I’ve only done the 2 starter trails and just completed my 3rd one now. Absolutely amazing! It’s so easy to use, very stream lined, explained precisely but easy, and the ability to earn different ranks makes me want to learn more to earn those higher rank! Definitely will be a frequent user/learner!!!

I’m still very new to this app but it feels like there are sections that are meant to be completed from a computer, but in no way indicates this. Seems contradictory to have an app on your phone for mobile use but then need a computer to be able to even finish anything. If there are module that cannot be completed on mobile, maybe some type of indicator would help.

It’s a great chance to get out there and learn more. I firmly believe that if we’re not growing we’re falling, there’s no in between! Here’s an amazing tool that allows you to continue your learning that will positively impact your knowledge, performance, and overall desire to learn!

Like the improvements with the mobile app. Can now answer questions in a separate pop up window. Heavy duty projects must still be worked on a computer, but it is nice to have the ability to handle non project module segments on my phone or iPad. More chances to work with Trailhead!

Just getting started in tech. Nervously excited. Met a client that told me about this training. I am glued to the training and so far it is amazing. To think that there is a real community of support is mind blowing especially after years of working other careers. This is amazing.

Since we have our mobile devices with us at all times, this app makes it easy to pick up and learn a bit more wherever you are. And the app is easy to navigate and is very user friendly.

I am a professional onboarding to Salesforce and this app has been very helpful with learning about various features, integrations and community networking. As an education professional, I believe this app inspires the way students should learn in fun creative ways!

Only thing would make this app better would be the ability to listen to it instead of having to read and then just take the test after listening to it. Hopefully one day will be a possibility.

I used this app as soon as it came out on my flight to Dreamforce. I had printed out notes to use to prepare for my exam I was taking the first day of the conference but I ended up using this app on my tablet to review the relevant units while in flight! I’m so thankful for it, and I passed my exam.

I found this source to be quiet disorganized, when preparing for a certification exam the information is all over your screen and most of it isn’t even related to the topic… most modules lacking a direct information and links, in my option there is a lot of work needs to be done to overcome this chaos of information

It would be really amazing if the app had a feature to do “text to speech” that way you can listen to trailheads as well as read them.

Three days into moving toward an Administrator Cert. I can tell Trailhead had been thoroughly thought through as the learning platform. So glad the company took time to do this. I am excited for my future. A Big Thanks

I will say it takes a second to figure out where to begin. That’s only because there is much free valuable information on this app! I can’t wait to see where this path leads me

If you can follow directions and is ready to learn something new or enhance your current skills then this is recommended for you. I recommend this for people who are serious about business.

The only reason I’m not giving this 5 stars is that it wouldn’t let me share/post my shininny new badge to LinkedIn. Other than that, Trailhead is an amazing resource of knowledge for anyone that is interested in the Salesforce ecosystem. I love how accessible it is on both my iPhone and iPad. Best of all it is FREE.

This is the future. It is a fun way of learning and upskilling oneself as you go. This platform keeps challenging your brain in a manner that does not bore you or even get tired. It is a habit worth adding into one’s life Well done

Having access to trailhead on mobile browser versus this app, made a huge difference, in the experience and I could track my progress easily and do more with this clean UX. 1 star less because on iPad the landscape mode does not utilise the full screen. That would be a good enhancement.

I was longing to have this app! It’s great that you can learn Salesforce on the go. The only issue Im facing is that the search function doesn’t seem to pull up trailmix. That’s usually I start and go back to my journey so I hope Salesforce fixes it soon!

This is already such a fantastic way to stimulate and motivate in pursuit to educate for a better future. Looking forward to getting my official certification.

I love my current career but if I want to advance I need these skills. I am going to do 10 min a day of deep study and see where this journey takes me!

Love trail head go! It’s a great tool that lets you change how you learn and keeps you fresh. Have 5min in the coffee line? Learn a new skill. Tired of staring at a computer screen? Talk a walk and level up!

I found this app through VetForce. I’m having a ton of fun learning Salesforce and earning badges along the way. I wish I would have learned about this a few years ago. I can’t recommend this program enough.

This app is helpful when you’re trying to learn or refresh your skill set from your phone. Very user friendly!

I would like to have the option to listen to the content on my walks. Also I learn better when I hear it.

This is an excellent app. I’m learning a lot and having fun doing it! I can’t say I’ve ever had fun studying for a certification exam until I started using this app. Thank you for all you do!

I love salesforce and everything that they do. This app is great, however it is very limited. Being able to take quizzes is a good foundation but I’d like to get way further into modules etc. and I can’t really do that.

When I use the app the content is good but what stands out is that anything that has been favorited or is actively being used is not able to be found again other than through the search functionality. It’s a real blocker to remembering what I am doing and have taken the time to favorite so I know what I want to do next.

I love being able to just learn on the go. I just open up my phone and all my latest progress is right there. The new suggestions is good.

Step by step challenges, easy to follow lessons, and you can do most of it on the go with your phone. Pretty awesome.

Now getting the badges is so easy. I am here in the tire installation workshop and earned 3 badges while waiting for my new tires to get installed. Great usefulness of time. Kudos to trailhead team for launching this app. Looking forward to more fun filled features.

Truly makes learning on the go possible. I can do everything that I’d do on my laptop in Trailhead on the app.

So many apps only purpose is for you to binge their product and never leave it for selfish gain on the companies part. When I’m in THIS app I am bettering myself and gaining on my destiny. I love it.
