Good Platform

I tried it out after they sponsored a streamer I follow and I ended up liking it more than twitch. Mainly, I like certain things about the UI more and just about everything feels more intuitive and responsive. It performs really well and I haven’t had any issues. I would recommend it to anyone to give it a try!

MY ONE YEAR EXPERIENCE ON TROVO.

This platform has had multiple bugs exploited by users that have put streamers in debt to them. Keep in mind they take 50% of your earnings so you'd basically have to pay it back twice. I feel for those who are full-time and already established. Oh, and this platform is run by the laziest staff by far. Ask ANY streamer if their reports have been handled and chances are 'staff didn't see it'. Being a small platform their controversies gain no coverage so they think they can ignore it forever. The biggest con of being on a pay to win platform is you can actually have a community and all it takes a streamer with ONE big donator to get you banned. Don't be fooled, EVERYTHING on here is inflated and more than half of the active users are secondary accounts to enter boxes, the only way to get views/followers (which you have to pay for). In conclusion, the censorship is garbage and you're better off streaming on Twitch where at least staff LOOKS at reports and does their JOB. Don't even get me started on these pay to win events where viewers have to spend thousands to boost their favorite streamers and streamers just donate to themselves. Always a new event for a quick money grab, because the platform is dying and this is the only way they're capable of profit.

Extremely good but has some connection issues

As a mod for a streamer I’ve been on many platforms including mixer, twitch, and now this. The site is great as a whole but when you go onto the app it losses connection easily and has even frozen my phone screen where I’ve had to power down and unlock the phone again to unfreeze it. There are also other factors with stuff concerning the streamers that refreshing doesn’t always update the steamers page (mana/elixir/sub button) and mods can’t do much when it comes to their job when they have to get up and go somewhere they can’t bring their desktop or maybe laptop.

Scammers are claiming fraud

There’s individuals on this platform who are effected by one individual that is claiming fraud, what doesn’t make sense is the 20+ people who are affected have to pay back not only 50% of earnings but 100%, plus double so 200% is outrageous. The people who are affected by a careless human being wanting to be popular for donating then wanting a refund is affecting 20+ people once again, having to owe up to almost thousands bc Trovo is keeping there part and not refunding themselves. Both sides should pay back their part and there should not have to be a double amount refunded. People rely on Trovo to pay bills, eat and have a good time. This right here is not a good look at all for the platform.

Gave my iPhone some kind of virus

I simply just downloaded this app and didn’t even register on it or anything and it made my iPhone slower, even after I deleted the app. I googled how to fix it and someone said Trovo often causes glitches because of some of it’s system operations or whatever. So I googled how to fix it and they said to get rid of the cache and cookies. So I tried to get rid of its cache and cookies in my phone system but couldn’t even find it after it was deleted. So I reinstalled it to see if I could figure out how to delete its contents from my phone but that didn’t work either so I deleted it again but it didn’t work and my phone is slightly slower

So far so good

Today i did my first livestream i loved the quality and got my first follower. Being that this platform just released i will be trying to stream and grow with it and hopefully one day be a partner or something and be able to stream for a living. Also i love the "vote page" system for people to be able to vote on the best ideas for features on this platform. Thats cool. Also hope yall add digital gifting and subscriber button for mobile. Other than that,so far so good. Look up "TryH4rdGaming" here and come chat. All my info is in my info section.

Creators Beware!!

This app has a shiny new coat of paint, but the business model is lacking in continuity. The rules are being made as they go along, and they are banning streamers without warnings. If you have in depth rules, then these need to be presented as they’re developed. Cash outs are being charged 10+%, Trovo 500 just took a huge hit…. If you want money, fund raise like a normal business, stop stealing the creators money with shady business practices. Good luck in your future failure Trovo. You have lost several dedicated streamers due to your underhanded dealings. As an app and platform you have a wonderful thing, you’ve ruined it with your financial blunders, and poor management.

Trovo is still in beta at this time but I still love it I love it more than any other streaming platforms it has welcoming streamers and the people that watch a trovo stream everyone is nice and kind I just love it hope it will get to the number 1 streaming platform

Do not waste your time

When I first found out about Trovo I saw it as another way to support my favorite content creators, but I soon found that impossible. Every time I clicked on a stream it would become super laggy, up to a point I couldn’t watch the stream anymore. At first I figured it was a problem with the Trovo servers and that they would fix it soon but it has been 3 months since I first downloaded it and they still haven’t fixed the problem. I suggest you not waste your time and download a streaming app that actually works.

Non functional

Alot of guessing with tapping everywhere to navigate, biggest issue is it could not find the person i was looking for "Cognificent" so i had to open his page in safari and then load it to app... also you cannot view past streams, no matter what it will say there are none when this is false. The website most the time doesn't even work on iphone7 in desktop or mobile mode. No matter what i cannot use this service on my device, app & site are just broken for iphone7

Good app but only one problem

I just downloaded this app so far it’s amazing. The quality of the live streams are good and cristal clear but there is one problem. There could only be 10 mod and I would like the developers to add at least 10 more so it can be 20 mods or at least more then 10. Others then that it’s a good app and would recommend just would like there to be at least 20 mods or more :)

No save

I keep watching a stream or a clip then I just go and grab anything to eat or drink once I open the app again - that I didn’t even close I just minimize it - it start over from the beginning of the stream, so frustrating I can’t even tell where I stopped I need to scroll all the way over to this point again I just get bored and close the app. Please, at least make the watching more easier and saved so I can comeback and start from where I left even I closed the app

So fist the quality of the video is pristine so much better than a YouTube‘s Everything is good but could you add the feature where do you do @ and then someone’s use your name and it’s highlighted so they can see it keep up the good work

My streamer/friend came to this streaming website sense one website is getting transferred what I well not say and I use iPad so when they streamed I saw it and they were talking about mana and I said ‘where do I use mana?’ Then they said it’s right next to the emoticons so I looked and I did't see it is it because it’s not available on iOS yet or is it a bug?

101 Tips

I’m here for Cuban but it’s a really nice app. But it has its ups and downs. Some examples of downs are not being able to sub on mobile, also streamers Need more mod slots, and the viewers need to have a clip button so we can capture funny moments. But other than that the quality is great, great layout it’s easy and fast to get used to it.

Will ban you for no reason

I streamed on Trovo one time and was just doing a test stream to fix settings to prepare for actual streams. No games were played and minimal talking was done(the only word I said was test test just to make sure I had audio) so I know that stream didn’t get me banned but yet I wake up to an email saying I was banned permanently for “Inappropriate Behavior” on March 1st at 1am….. when I was asleep for work. I was hopeful that this was a Twitch alternative but I was severely wrong.

Highly recommend

Trovo has a good community, and amazing support. Streamers are very friendly. I feel like Trovo has a big chance to make it big. Especially if they are continuing to add more onto the app.

Censorship is bad on here

Even if you follow someone, they remove them from your list of who you follow and don’t allow searches to bring then up. But.. the page is still available... if you can find it. Usually you need to know who they follow to find them after they have been shadow-banned. 👎🏻 This app runs like crap anyway. Constantly buffering. No real loss. Other apps and web sites are avail w the same ones they censor.

Streams are black

I have been using trovo since it was in mad cat beta. For over 2 months, every stream I enter is just a black screen. And all of my streams are black as well if I try to look back at them. I try to use customer help and it doesn’t work. I have deleted and reinstalled many times. Nothing works. I want to see streams. Please help. Account: SAMSONop

Trovo was an amazing app till they added an update where you can’t use trovo unless you have a phone number. Unfortunately I cannot afford one so therefor I cannot use this app anymore. 😔

The overall experience is good but vods and clips need to be added also the option to raid or host someone would also be great and chat bots like nightbot need to be added also when I try to go to in a stream it says that I’ve joined which makes everything awkward and puts you on the spot

extend sub

The app is great, the quality is great but one thing that i would want to come to the app is you can extend your sub. I’ve just subbed for 1 month and wanted to extend it but it won’t let me extend it i would if trovo added this

Might be okay… But auto rotates.

Might be great! But sadly it auto rotates. My iPAD pro has a keyboard, so I don’t want to be removing it just to watch some streams. Too bad this isn’t common sense by now. I see far too many apps still forcing users to use a certain aspect.

Not creator friendly, they steal money

Used to stream on Trovo, then they banned over 30 cretors without saying why including my channel. On top of it, they took the superchat money. They did not return it to the audience that donated it either. They might steal your money at any point and they ban creators out of the blue without giving a reason. Don’t bother streaming on this platform, it’s not worth it.

App should be banned from store

Trovo took money from content creators livestreams and banned all of them from the site. Then they block creators on Twitter and other platforms when they inquire about their money. I don't see why an app that steals money from the people that use it is allowed to be on the App Store. Do not use Trovo and tell everyone to go to Odysee instead.

Fun place

As someone who found some friends and actively streamed on here in the past. Trovo is a cool place, not necessarily filled with westerners or Americans. Sometimes buggy but very enjoyable communities reside here.

Background Play!!!

Love the app so far, just would REALLY like background play added for iOS devices. I’ve been asking for this since you were Madcat....Android has this capability so I’m sure it’s coming to iOS but the sooner the better.

Issues

The connection issue I have with this is 40% works, 60% it doesn’t, no other app on my phone (streaming etc in general)have loading issues as I have with this app, it’s an app issue.

Full screen dont work

I had this app on other phones and they worked on full screen but since i got the iphone 12 it dont work on full screen idk why

Banned my favorite content creators, also banned me just for following them, still charge subscriptions every month even then they banned the content creators who people were subbed to. There’s no reason for anyone to use this app.

Not working

I keep having to reinstall the app to see if it’ll work, it won’t. Kept saying service unavailable or not connected to network, no signal, when obviously I’m connected to my wifi. I emailed trovo support idk how long ago… still waiting. Hopefully y’all can fix this soon.

Lack of optimization for iPad

Love the app, outstanding high quality streams the only thing holding it back is the lack of full display optimization for iPad instead we get cropped up iPhone layout.

Don’t see mana on iPhone 11 Pro Max

Ever since I got this phone I no longer see the mana to cast spells on the app, but I can see it on the website, if I wanted to watch on the website I’ll use my computer and not bother with the app

Ok I am not a streamer but this app is pretty cool so far it works like twitch but better idk twitch has its bugs like many but so far I haven’t seen bugs or heard bug on this app
