The app stopped working on my old phone and when I got a new one it was fixed and now the app just stopped working again. It will let me log in and go to the home page but where the grades and announcements are it’s blank and it’s frozen. The app is important to me because it allows me to check my grades at all times. I use it on my phone instead of my school chrome book because my chrome book is so slow and barely loads anything. Now you can see my frustrations with this when the app gave me the accessibility that my chrome book wouldn’t !!!!!!!!!!!
The app has been working fine since I downloaded it last school year, but something happened this week and now the app shuts down when I click on “grades”. I deleted the app and re downloaded and it’s still unexpectedly shutting down. Please fix this bug, this app has helped me out as a parent tremendously! I’m able to follow up with kids about assignments, grades and attendance. I can email teachers directly from the app, update emergency contacts, I can see their schedules and so much more! So, helpful! Please, please, please fix the shut down bug 🐛
I have had so many problems with this app from day 1. I would stop using it but this is the program my child’s school chooses to use. I have started using it only to make payments to my child’s lunch account-and half of the time I can’t even do that! I’m currently having an issue with the log in. I know my password is correct, however, it’s denying me access and the link to “forgot parent password” isn’t working. Why am I surprised? As I said in the review title, this is such a great concept for an app. I like the things you (in theory) can see and access, I just wish it worked properly a majority of the time. I understand apps have bugs and hiccups, but this is way more than that! PLEASE work on it!
Used this system for some time now. It was upgraded within the last 2 years and has been horrible. It is difficult to change between students. Doesn’t show late or missing assignments as easily as it did previously. Defaults to grades. I wish it would default to a list of my students so I can access a student then from there determine what records for that student I need to see, lunch balance, grades etc. I also wish I could sort out missing assignments. We used to be able to do this and this was so helpful for making up work when out due an illness. In all this app needs improvements to access the data in a more efficient and effective manner.
I had it downloaded and it stopped working for me randomly. When i downloaded it again my face id was not working and I couldn’t look at my grades. Every time i tried to view my grades the app would close out. I’ve never had a problem with it before but i am really getting frustrated because I had hoped to use this for an easy access with online school and everything. If the bugs get fixed I would definitely use the app again but as of right now I can’t because of the number of problems.
The absolute worst app I have on my phone, if I could give it zero stars I would. There are constantly bugs to the app, there is rarely a time where the app is fully functional. At on point the app was down for a week withought an update. The updates do little to fix it and only make it worse. Our school should switch from this program because Im sure there are much more optimized programs. The developers have no idea what they are doing as it takes months to fix a simple issue. Overall I would recommend anyone wanting to use this app to not. It is barely functional and need many changes.
Don’t. This app is horrendous I am a student and we have just switched to this app from home access and it is terrible. Now I know that my school is broke and maybe this is a healer option though I heard they were payed to use it but this is such a downgrade. First of all it’s confusing, second of al out can’t see your grades I’ve read some reviews and have seen that you can see a letter grade at the end of the semester but that is frankly bs because I also read that there used to be a percentage so like why give rid of it. To say it short this app is terrible you can’t see your grades or anything else.
I’ve had my password reset several times and redownloaded the app a few times too. I simply can’t log in through the app. I know my password works if I use the internet but every. Single. Time. I try with the app it tells me it’s the wrong password. This is my first time ever using it so I was excited at the access it gives me to my child’s school performance. It’s frustrating I can’t just use it like I should.
Great app; it’s way quicker to view grades and other things on the app rather than having to go to the website, which isn’t compatible with mobile phones. It sometimes “downloads data” but that only lasts a short period of time, which, i’m assuming, varies based on internet connection. It’s super quick to access all features.
I do not know how my children are doing in their classes because there are ZERO options for notifications 😡. I must physically check multiple times a day. I hope that I am doing something wrong and I made a mistake. I am also a teacher and it is not user friendly at all. There are too many options and you have to changes multiple screens to find information for grades/assignments. We don’t have graduation progress either. KISS is always the way to go and I am computer literate. I want the full version of PowerSchool back.
i as a student hate how you can never find anything easily on here. for example last year my grades never showed up(on iphone ipad and computer) so i always had to keep asking my teachers for them also the schedules for this year haven’t popped up yet for me and most of my friends while others have them and school literally starts in less than a week 😡😡 please fix these issues asap
This app is the worst. Of course I have to have it for my daughters school but every-time I try to open the app, I have to update it. “This version is no longer available” Then it gives me several error messages until I just eventually delete the app and have to redownload it. This is one of many issues. When I set up Face ID to unlock it, it would just glitch over and over again and never let me in the app. So irritating. I’ve never been able to just open the app with out issues.
Since my kids’ teachers NEVER reach out to the parents in our school district of our kids are struggling, this is the only way I have to keep up with my kids grades and assignments. Today, the app wouldn’t let me log in unless I updated. Since I updated, it still won’t let me log in. It force closes before it gives me the option to log in. Super annoying considering I have a sick child at home for the 3rd day this week and I can’t even look to see what assignments he needs to work on. Please fix it!
I used to use the app without any problems but for the past couple months it hasn’t worked. I type in my information to sign in and the app crashes. This happens every single time. It’s very annoying that I have the app and still have to log into the website to check a grade on my phone. I don’t have any issues with the website, but the mobile issues have gone on for long enough!
Worked great for years, now for the past several months it takes forever for it to load the home page, switch kids, and every single thing you try to view. Every page is delayed about 15 mins. WiFi, 5G… it just doesn’t work as it should. Extremely frustrating.
I downloaded this a couple of months ago so I could have my schedule ahead of time to make sure everything was right. It worked the first time but when I went back to get screenshots of my schedule again it wouldn’t work. Not only did it log me out but when i tried to log back in it kept saying authorization error. I deleted and reinstalled it but nothing is working. It’s not user friendly at all.
This is the most crash prone app I have ever had the pleasure of using. Sometimes it crashes mid action, sometimes it just hangs and loads forever. The developers clearly don’t care, because all they have to do is sell the school district on the SIS and then who cares about the parent experience. This app is so bad I’m almost motivated to either start or go work for a rival SIS and do everything in my power to take every one of their customers.
This app was so great to use to check on homework assignments and grades until this week when it stopped working! I’m really disappointed, when I log in it just goes to a blank white screen with no menu. I’m not sure if it’s due to the age of my phone or the platform? I have an iPhone 7 Plus, my husbands Samsung Note 9 is still working. Now if I want to check on my sons assignments/grades I have to use a desktop computer. I really hope this issue gets resolved with the next update.
After the newest update, this app is completely useless for me. I cannot see this semester, only the past two quarters or term. Further, the grade calculations are extremely inconsistent. On the web version, I have one grade— on the app, I have another. The app also isn’t showing my class percentage, only a letter grade. If I have to log on to the web version just to see my grades, there’s no point me even having this app. Please fix or I will promptly uninstall.
Anyone with an iPhone actually able to get into the Tyler 360 SIS app? I can get in on my desktop and laptop but it never works on my phone anymore. It used to. I even changed my password thinking it would help, but it didn’t. And it’s super frustrating because there is no option to reach the administrator to get help. If I do forgot my password (which I haven’t, I know it) on my phone it sends me to a browser window which of course opens immediately. It’s just the app!
While the adult log in does work very well, the student google login doesn’t do anything. When the google button is clicked, it doesn’t take you to the google login, instead it just tells you to download the app even though you already have the app. Can someone please help I just want to check my grades!
The school resets our passwords each year and they gave me my new one but every time I log in it says password expired make a new one but it dosent let me create a new password it opens for 5 seconds and kicks me back out to make a new password again. I jsut need to reset my password but it’s not working
Just took me over 12 minutes and multiple attempts to make a payment for meal services. It’s taken at least that long every time this school year!!! I used to love that I could pay for meal services in less then 30 seconds on this app. in years past. I’m not the only parent in the district complaining about this, we are all having problems
I’m currently a student and while I really do appreciate this app and could give it the best review that’s ever left my mouth it just does not work. The login function has been broken pretty much since the school year started and can’t authorize my school issued email and I’ve had to resort to using the website as all of my friends have to as well.
Now I would give a good rating, but I have recently experienced an issue with dining in with Touch ID, where it gets stuck in a soft lock when you scan your fingerprint, and tells you your password is wrong and makes it so you can’t sign into your account without biometrics, but it just keeps kicking you to the “password is wrong” box
I really love this app for attendance reasons, but I wish I could at least view IEPs from my phone for when I do not have my computer and need to verify a students goals or accommodations. I wish it just offered to view the active IEP.
It’s a good app I haven’t had any issues so far the only thing I don’t like is the fact that you can’t make any updates like to your phone numbers. I think this needs to be fixed so you can do that instead of having to wait until you fill the forms out for the next school year.
This app works great, everything I need is normally easily accessed, but as of late any time I open the grades tab it immediately closes. That is the main reason I downloaded it but now it doesn’t work. I need this fixed or I will delete it.
I think this app is fine but i have some suggestions like; give us the option to not make us log in every time. Also it would be cool if we would get notifications when a teacher entered, changed, or finalized grades.
my school started using this app and system since we are pretty much broke. and i must say that this is the worst school app ever. you can’t view your grades without clicking through many things, and everything in the app is confusing and inaccessible. the whole district of teachers, students, and parents would agree with me when i say that this app is not it. 10/10 do not use.
I honestly don’t like the new updates that this app has gone through. Last year it was totally fine and you could see the percentage of your grades, but this year I couldn’t find anything whether I used my phone or computer. The only thing you can see is the semester final grade, which is just your letter grade.
This app was great for checking my grades on the go and made fantastic use of he fingerprint scanner. However, with the latest software update, this product is UNUSABLE and completely worthless in my opinion. The screen remains white the whole time after I log in, and I am unable to look at anything besides the login screen. I will check back in when there is a fix for this issue. Yours truly, A
This app is amazing to use. I use it everyday to check my grades and to see if I have any missing assignments. Also you can use it to see what testes you have coming up.
I'm sorry for such a poor review, but it is a really poor app. It's pointless to even have because the only thing I use it for is to look at my grades on the mobile app, but every single time I look, I'm unable to see or click to see my grades. Every time I go to sign into Tyler to look at my grades on there, the app won’t let me sign in. I have to go into my Chromebook from the school just to look at grades for a minute or my attendance. It’s gotten annoying to the point that I’ve deleted the app at least 6 times and downloaded it again to see if it would let me sign in.
On iPhone 7+, app worked for a total of a month since starting school in August. I can login fine and get to the menu and whatnot with “grades, assignments, attendance,...” but clicking on any of those yield nothing. For grades, the two selection boxes come up, but have nothing in them to select and no text shows up. Using the browser to check is clunky on mobile, but works at least.
For 2 weeks this app hasn’t worked on my iPhone- it will act like it’s going to sign in and then takes me right back to the sign in page. I’ve deleted the app and downloaded it again and it still doesn’t work. I’ve even tried restarting my phone but it still does the same thing.
It crashes about half the time I open it. Then when I try to view my grades, it says "downloading data" for a good 5 minutes, but that's only to see overall grades. I have to wait even longer to be able to see individual assignment grades. This is the worst app I've ever had and I really wish the school would consider finding a new system to put grades into!
had to get the new update as i needed to check my classes for the school year. As soon as i did so i opened the app hoping it would work and low and behold it wasn’t working, kept asking for my face id and when i tried to type in my password it wouldn’t let me and continued to spam the face id option. This really needs to be fixed so i know what my classes are :/
I can open the app, select the district, but when it asked if I was teacher, parent, or student I clicked student and clicked “sign in with google” cause that’s how we sign in. But it just showed a white screen and even after I reloaded the app and page, it stayed the same. Please update or fix cause I need to see my grades. 0/10
When I first started to use this app in the fall Of 2021 it was great. Nice way to keep track of everything. But for several weeks now it almost never works. It just spins sometimes. Sometimes you log on but can’t access anything. I’ve needed to review some records for days and can’t access them.
This app does not fully support iPads or iPhones. The hyperlinks for daily announcements do NOT work on mobile devices. Guess what? That’s all I use. So, I have to accept teasers (first sentence or so) for daily announcements. After such a big overall/update you’d think that would not be an issue.
The app does not work at all. I try, and try to see my grades, and it just won’t load. I have to at least reload the app 2 times just to see my horrible grades I so dearly need help with. I hate human geography. To sum up everything, the app needs fixing, and sisd should just use a different platform to distribute grades and such.
This app definitely needs to be updated. I don’t know why the district opted to use this platform. App keeps freezing and if face recognition is enabled, when signing it’ll go crazy with recognizing my face then saying password invalid. I don’t know how many times I had to delete and re-download this app, beats the purpose of the ease of having it! Fix it please!
Shows me my kids grades/assignments. Works great! Not sure why everyone is crying?! Maybe try using an American made OS like Apple, and stop being a cheap whiny nitpicker lol
I wish our school would use a different app. This one doesn’t work 75-80% of the time. Hard to keep track of my kids lunch money in their accounts when I can’t even get into the app
Since their first update of the 19-20 school year I have not been able to pay through this app or the actual website all the schools IT wants to say it’s my phone. Funny 3 internet browsers on a laptop and 2 different iPhones and it’s my stuff that’s broken. I truly hate this app the school systems need to find something new to use.
Tyler SIS Student 360 is the parent and student portal app to view school progress and activities in school districts that use Tyler SIS. If your school district does not use Tyler SIS, you will not be able to use Student 360. When you first install Tyler SIS Student 360, you will search for your district by name or by ZIP code.
