I give this app 2 starts because the student email works and that’s where it pretty much ends. Good luck accessing moodle or Ulink without it logging you off, or in my case, simply not opening - even after downloading again. This is truly the least mobile friendly mobile app.
The functionality of this app is a treasure. So many different options, they really thought out what a student here at UL could possibly need and implemented it all. I was bummed for the longest, because the app was unoptimized for the iPhone X's screen size and resolution, leading to it having large black bars above and below the apps usable screenspace. Now, with Apple moving towards this screen type for all of its iPhones, it only makes sense to get ahead of the game and make it fit for all future foreseeable screens. Thank you to whoever finally updated this app, you deserve commendation.
The app is good when it actually works. But you only have about two minutes to do anything before you’re booted out of whatever you were doing and have to log back in. And most recently, it crashes every time I try to access Moodle.
I got this app because I thought it’d be fast to get to my moodle, but boy was I wrong. Before the semester started I got the app - it worked perfectly. After the semester started - it stopped working. I’d go to log in, and as soon as I logged in the app shut do; it closed out snd I was sent back to my home screen. I’d rather get my computer out and open moodle than through this app.
The app works really well. The only problem is that it logs you out while you are still in the app. You have to start over whatever you were doing, which is really irritating.
Really like that I can use Touch ID and Face ID on the app, but sometimes the app refuses to let me log in. It scans my face, verifies it, then immediately closes out. Other than that I love this app. It allows me to check everything easily from my phone
So I’ve been using the app for a few months and it had been working great, but recently whenever I try to log in it crashes. I can only log in with Touch ID, it won’t let me put in my UL password either
I would love for this app to remain open shortly after logging in. I like that fact that everything is at my fingertips, but the app closes shortly after logging in.
For such a large public university, ULL’s iOS app is not up to par. Logging in is difficult and app never recalls your credentials. The app is far too sensitive—one misplaced touch and you’re back at the “homepage” and have lost your progress. Unfortunately, using a mobile web browser for ULink is still much simpler.
I’ve been going to UL for about 3 years now and hate using this app. It is really outdated, randomly crashes, and automatically logs you out after being on the app for longer than 3 minutes. This app brings more inconvenience than help to your life.
The app almost never works and crashes all the time. The email aspect does work but after that it’s basically useless, especially at the beginning of the semester when the most people are attempting to use it.
Seems like there’s always login issues and it steady boots you out and have to wait a day or so for it to finally act right. You would think all the money this university gets it would have a decent working app to make it easy for the students.
Whenever I use Moodle through the app I will suddenly get logged out of everything and have to put my password in again, even though I have it set so I don’t have to do that every time. This has been going on for over a month!
The tens of thousands of dollars Ive paid to attend this university gives negative dollars to this app. Might be ran by a bunch of monkeys and rats on a wheel. I’ve seen cara in head on collisions operate better after the wreck than this app does on a good day sunny and 75. I need a beer.
Sometimes it will log you out and when you type in your username and password it will say incorrect no matter what and I have to wait a few hours or days till it works again.
