Watching the truth is amazing! Also a life saving program
I’ve been using this app and watching that videos almost since it first started. I’ve got to say, seeing variations of crazy crap that actually takes place as opposed to what you see in commercials and movies. Just when I thought was only the Army that screwed up, this brought to light all the branches are screwed up! Lol. On another note, after being medically retired out of the Army I felt like I lost my identity of who I had become and all that I had worked for. It seemed as if everything had come to an abrupt halt, from the deployments, the crazy crap that took place seemingly all the time, to the camaraderie that I experienced which was like nothing I had or will ever probably experience again. These feelings brought on severe depression to the point that I was in a bad place mentally and emotionally. Without going into great detail I can honestly say the videos and everything else within this app literally helped save my life. To read how many other military members, both current past and present felt the same way or had similar thoughts was eye-opening and showed me that I was not the only person Going through my situation. This app and videos within help you relate and also are informative at times giving you information if you’re having bad thoughts or need help. It’s Truly a blessing what these people have done and continue to do for our brothers and sisters in arms. Keep it up and bring on the laughs!

Would recommend highly
Been batteling my demons for the last 17-18yrs and it’s been a struggle. But I’m still holding on and VetTV, especially the “let’s talk about the war series.” Kind of opened up my eyes. That I’m not the only one self destructing and hating everyone everything. My shrink years ago wouldn’t let me stay in group because I was too aggressive and confrontational, I was the only infantry guy. The comedy shows, just brings back the funny memories, horseplay and shamtastic shenanigans. Since 2019 I started closing off and turning inward, I talk to no one, I avoid leaving and going anywhere especially traveling long distance. I no longer talk to my family other than my mom, and my family is falling apart here at home, I have no friends nearby and most avoid me because I’m always cold and closed off. I’ve pushed the majority of people away from me and I’m on my last straw. I hope watching these shows sparks more want for healing, because I’m so tired of fighting, and the worst part, there are others worse off. but that hyper anxiety and sucking chest feeling the memories and pain is so overwhelming. Ugh. I’ll be a lifelong subscriber until Vet TV sells out, or I pass on to a better place.

I wanted to know what I was getting into
I’m a 23yo civilian currently in school for a psychiatric undergrad degree that I want continue into a masters or maybe even doctorates of psychology for the sake of becoming a therapist for veterans and police officers with PTSD. I have several friends in various branches of the armed forces and have lost a couple to mental health issues directly related to their time in the service. I know from experiencing my own trauma that it’s hard to accept help from someone who’s never been exposed to the kinds of hardships that you as a victim are faced with, or people who take their book knowledge too seriously. I plan on joining up as soon as I get my degree and finishing my education while enlisted. Now, having gratuitously sucked my own dick, I’ve got to say- this is exactly what I was expecting and 10x better than I had hoped. Some of the jokes go over my head, and I don’t have a lot of time to invest in watching it, but I’m paying for the subscription if only because if supports the cause. I wish I had had this to share with my friend when he was in a rough patch after coming home. It’s probably saving lives. Y’all are awesome for what you’re doing, and I will continue to support. Keep up the good work!

Reminds me of the good o’l days!
VetTv stands out for its sharp wit and dark humor, providing a unique lens into the military experience. Its blend of satire and authenticity creates a space where veterans can find humor in the often gritty realities of service. The attention to detail is impeccable, with jokes and references that only those familiar with military life can truly appreciate, adding layers of authenticity to the humor. Moreover, VetTv’s relevance to the current military landscape is undeniable. By tackling taboo topics and poking fun at the absurdities of military culture, it offers a cathartic outlet for veterans and active-duty personnel alike. In an era where mental health and morale are critical issues within the military community, VetTv provides a refreshing and much-needed dose of levity. Overall, VetTv excels in delivering dark humor that resonates deeply with its audience, while also shedding light on the complexities of military life. It’s a must-watch for anyone looking to laugh while gaining insight into the unique experiences of those who serve.

From a soldier’s perspective
I understand if not everyone loves VetTV as much as I do, but before you criticize the service and the passion project that VetTV is to the creators, please consider the following: “It is a service made by veterans for veterans and if you hate it then you probably aren’t a veteran.” If, however, you are a veteran and you do not like the service then it’s okay. Across my nearly 10 years of service I have met a plethora of people that come from various backgrounds and behave quite different from each other. There is no shame in not liking something that is targeted towards your particular group. All of that being said, I love VetTV and it has gotten me through some rather painful raw dogging the Army likes to sling my way while on deployments. Between the over-the-top humor and incredibly relatable moments there is always something for me to watch and genuinely appreciate having watched. Keep up the great work!

This is the real deal...
Accept no substitutes. What civilians see on movies and TV is just an actor trying to be as awesome as Veterans, truth be told, even encountering us in person is simply an act... Then, you turn on Vet TV, and you stop smiling and laughing with us, and start wondering what the (Eff) is wrong with us? All the while, we are laughing out (bums) off. THIS is the real deal, to everyone else, we are honorable ambassadors to our nation. Between all of us, we are rude, crude, and have mastered over 10,000 ways to creatively use the ‘F’ word...and we are incredibly good at it. Welcome to reality, where inside that ECP is a land of wonder, imagination, and a bunch of disgruntled and hilarious sadists that would as soon dropkick someone down the barracks hall and drink, rather than tell them they’re good friends (cause that would be H-0-M-0 AF) But, there is something positive under all this, brings awareness to veteran Suicide and other pressing issues, encouraging viewers to reach out to a buddy and help them laugh and remember when times were simpler, and maybe that laughter they have, even if it’s short, may keep them away from the edge, the demons that so many of us brought back with us and live with every day. Much respect to the people behind the scenes that made this channel happen, they have a subscriber for life.

Most accurate interpretation of vet life
Whenever you see soldiers on tv or in movies they are portrayed like robotic dorks. Thank God VetTV got it right and there telling the real story of military life. 20% military bearing 80% savage is the best way to describe my 14 years military service. What makes vetTV so great is that the stories are so relatable, and shows how vets use humor to cope with the really tough situations there put in. As funny as the shows are, the real message of ptsd, veteran suicide, and supporting each other is always present. Watching and laughing at the episodes helped me as well as other vets I know deal with the internal demons we brought home with us. Thank you VetTV for all you’ve done to support us by keeping us laughing. Please never water down what you do, it’s perfect the way it is.

Comedy Killers
alright listen here….and you better be standing at parade rest. We got us some jokers here that like to parody the military and the veteran experience and you would think they would be some soft Hollywood weak chin-having sumbi- err actors. But these guys just don’t kill the comedy game, we have some actual killers and warriors from all the branches coming to brighten your day or make you remember what life was like before that DD-214 fell on your lap. So do me a favor, grab your K-pot and put in some dip because these jokers got what you need to relive that crazy kooky stuff you went through now that you can’t see your toes anymore thanks to all that post-service beer binging. Thank you for your service, VET TV. And your recruiter too 😘

Absolutely Love It!!!
This is an amazing app! It makes me laugh so hard it hurts! You’d have to experience the real thing to understand. but if you have, then this is the app for you, it’s perfect for a good laugh. The best way to add a chuckle to your day when you’re stuck in a waiting room or trying to ignore the family at thanksgiving dinner. Also takes me back to some of the best times and honestly makes me a little homesick. Be sure to use headphones in public places because people who don’t understand why this is funny to you may try to have you committed lol. This is my new favorite streaming app, hands down. Thank you for your creation and and keep up the awesome content.

I’m not a vet… 90% of my family members are, VET Tv has given me more of a glimpse into what they went through to help explain some of their “corks” it’s no doubt in my mind that all VET’s are dealing with some sort of PTSD from boot camp to war and being able to see some of the events portrayed gives me more of an understanding on why. Watching Recruiters Mission First hit me kinda hard and I reached out to my VET family but I wish I could do more for others. I by no means can relate but I can lend an ear without judging their past. I’m greatly appreciate and thank for all those who have served and I much rather have a conversation with one in struggle then to read about another suicide.

Life altering
I am a disabled veteran. I walk upright. I have 10 fingers and 10 toes. I have no physical deformities. My disability is mental. I live alone with my dog. On the surface I seem fairly normal, at least I think so. But I have no friends, I keep family at a distance, I can’t maintain a relationship, I don’t allow work associates to get too close… I am entirely closed off. Vet TV is my release. It brings me back to a time when my life made sense. Through their humor they connect us to a point in our lives that shaped who we would become, good and bad. I can’t even tell you how often turning this on has brought me out of darkness and into the light. Vet TV is truly life altering.

Dark and Hilarious!
I’ve seen a few ads about Vet Tv on social media, and I finally decided to give it a chance. The content is all fresh and original, which is a major plus! I haven’t watched everything yet, but everything I have seen is really well done, entertaining, and makes me want to keep watching. However, if you aren’t a military vet, this is NOT for you. It’s always funny when you a have a friend (or friends) who was in a different branch watch this content with you, and if you don’t understand it, it’s a bonding moment of pure laughter and understanding of the shenanigans from each branch. Well worth the subscription in my opinion!

This app is a life saver
This app not only helped me by making me laugh which we all know is the best medication but it also helped me realize how lucky I am to be apart of such an amazing community filled with so many amazing people and also helped save me in a very dark part of my life. It also helped save my career because it has changed my mindset to realize I’m not like the majority of the population. Thank you to everyone involved with the production of these shows from the bottom of my heart because you guys made me realize that I’m different but a good kind of different in my own way. Thank you to anyone who has served and is currently serving with me.

I’m a veteran and I approve this message!
I love how vet TV is able to bring to life all of the dark comedy to life that every veteran while on active duty thought about and considered, but never said anything out loud. It’s like they took a collection of all the dark messed up thoughts that one has while on deployment and put them together in cohesive and hilarious stories! The characters that they present are real in the sense that when you watch the different shows one can think back and be reminded of a guy that fit that character type. I love these guys and love the organizations they support!

I am not a veteran, but I work as a first responder and this is comedy gold.
So the previews had me hooked with the dark humor. I’ve been watching Devil Docs and I have to admit the vibe is VERY similar to civilian sector jobs and the bonds built in a firehouse or ambulance company. (If any HR company reads this I’m definitely a hacker ) The series provided here have been confirmed to be a source of therapy for my buddies who have served our country. They enjoy it thoroughly and have stories to tell when watching which they normally wouldn’t have brought up otherwise without proper context. Thank you all for giving me a way to connect and understand my loved ones better.

The best show ever
I am usually on and off with watching this epic show but since my son was born, we have been at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital with him. While he is sleeping, I use that time to get my mind off of things and watch all the episodes I can! I actually won the first year subscription through Irreverent Warriors Memphis contest right before the silkies hike! I will definitely be purchasing each years subscription after this one is done!! Loving every minute of it! The amazing humor and sick twisted mindsets remind me of my every day life while I was in the Marine Corps living in the barracks lol... thanks for everything you guys do there at VetTv!!

Outstanding and I can’t get enough
A close friend that I served with recommended this app. I’m glad I checked it out. As vets we need to laugh more. Face it, we can relate to just about everything that’s on this site. Yes we have a sick sense of humor and we are different but who cares. Vet tv has something for everyone. Even if you didn’t deploy to the sandbox there is something for you. I recommend this site to everyone of my friends to include civilians. They may not understand it completely but at least they get an idea of what we find humorous. Thank you Vet tv for making this warrior laugh.

Never been served in the any of the armed forces. But to hear there stories and what they were feeling during that time period, it’s absolutely heart wrenching. Given the difficulties and task they had to undergo. To think that the people with power, the ones running the military have absolutely no idea what’s going on. Have no idea what those men were going through. It’s sickening. That our own government was giving missions not knowing what’s out there. Who’s out there. Basically leading the ones that swore to protect us out there to die. It’s sick

VetTv is what combat veterans need
I love this VetTv it helps me as a combat veteran to help me to better cope and understand I’m not alone when it comes to the real aspect of WAR which is not exactly for everyone. Anyway VetTv makes situations that we are put in laughable and I can’t get enough! I used to feel so alone when it came to the point of no one understanding what I went through in war and that your ordered to do things that you don’t exactly want to do but the chain of command is there for a reason. Thanks VetTv for making light and for being real!!

If your weak or soft then you will be greatly offended and have to ask mommy and daddy to help you with more therapy because this brings back your bad memories of when you scraped your knee when you were 7. But seeing as now you’re in your 30s you want to branch out, well stick with American idol you softy. For those who served or have dark humor you have now found your paradise, NSFW so put headphones on and don’t let people look over your shoulder. Its great!
Its a great app to pass the time as well as to hear others stories of when they were deployed and the things that they seen and had to deal with, also gives you some insight on how some of the veteran community thinks and feels not only about the things they have been through but especially now after everything how they feel despite all there efforts and how things are now. If you arent ok with dark humor and people having realistic views on certain topics this app wont be for you.

I’m not a veteran nor served in the armed forces. I do support you guys and give my upmost respect to all active and veteran service members. I’m talking to a Marine who is on deployment. So you show makes me laugh and worry less. Because the realities of combat can be very overwhelming. I’m really am enjoying Vet Tv plus you guys are very good looking!😁. I especially like the ones about the Marines! I love the satire to what you all had to deal while serving. It was not easy I’m sure especially for you all that served on the frontlines. Great content
I love your content. It is really good, however, my only suggestion is most of us veterans are big fans of documentaries. I would love to see more documentaries such as let’s talk about the war. There is plenty of content on Biden’s botched withdrawal that can provide fodder for these documentaries. Updated: On the three year anniversary of the botched withdrawal you guys released Interpreters Wanted. An amazing documentary this just raised my rating of 4 stars to 5. You guys are doing an awesome job with your content. Keep it coming.

We all hear the stories of soldiers coming home to see all their things packed nicely away and a dear john on the counter, or living in the barracks, realizing that you would definitely not get this interaction living in an apartment in your home town, but vet tv have visualized that for us. A veteran owned and operated app is something I can really get behind especially when I’m on 24 hour staff duty or CQ. On top of all these stories, they go as far as to revamp popular television shows through the scope of a soldiers environment and makes it relatable and witty

Good healing
Watched “grunt life” and understand if some of the humor isn’t for you or even the most accurate of life on deployment for 90 percent of the population because it is supposed to deal with the extremes. Most people should look at the big concepts being wrestled with. What’s to far and past redemption and what’s far enough. What is a leader. What is understanding the front line in honestly any job as a leader. Why are some things stated the way they are even by those leaders. Honestly great show.

Tactically deceiving
I was skeptical when I first saw the previews, but upon further investigation I found vet tv to be an incredible resource for the best type of entertainment for vets. Vet tv really captures the culture and mindset of most combat vets specifically in a grunts life. I almost feel like I’m back with my brothers when I watch this series. I’m really happy I spent the money to get the year subscription I am recommending this to all my brothers who served with me. I know some of my brothers who were lost in afghan would definitely be candidates for roles in this series.

Raw, absolutely hilarious, and insanely well thought-out shows with incredible actors and actresses. More accurate than any other show or movie, probably to the point where some people might not believe how real some of the shows are. I watch a lot of shows and movies on different streaming services to pass the time, and VetTV makes me laugh out loud non-stop or just smile, thus curing the crippling depression I have and makes me forget I still don’t have my DD-214 yet. Great content, relatable and hilarious.
As one who has served in the armed forces, I am speaking from experience when I say that we have to hold a lot of our emotions not just to keep our cool but for “the mission”. This app has allowed several friends of mine including myself to know that we are not alone with these thoughts or emotions that are so hard to express without losing our cool. VET TV has shown that humor really is the best medicine for dealing with the harsh reality that the military can throw at you.

I used to think I had a darker sense of humor until I realized how much further and darker those boundaries could get pushed out to. You’re not going to find comedy that’s more real, and relatable out there. Is it f-cked up? Yeah. So is life though and millions of service men and women can relate. Let’s say you’re not in the military, like myself. Odds are you know someone who was and if you’re lucky, and they trust you, this sort of humor comes out of them. It’s an absolute riot. Love everyone involved and I hope their success continues.

Get some boot to get a month long subscription in exchange for that beer you got him, and check it out for yourself. Don’t like it? Go back to your desk job or slam a couple shots of whisky, smoke a cigar, and do a lap around your building in nothing but your silkies, then watch another episode. If you’re a Veteran you’ll love this. If you’re not then you may enjoy seeing the side of Veterans you don’t normally see. Please don’t judge your Veteran family members or friends for laughing at something you might consider a bit controversial. Instead, thank them for acting “normal” when around you and not like we do around our military Brothers and Sisters. LOL.

My message is in the title, it’s inappropriate it’s offensive it is at points shocking and outlandishly hilarious all at the same time, I don’t know whether to laugh or look away. Funny things you have to think about when advertising this nonsense.. like how CEO O’Malley’s desire to title himself as ‘Mr’ in everything as a way to grab his audiences attention. The content is actually realistic in a lot of ways, but mostly filled with stuff that SHOULD never happen in real life and would cause anyone to be locked up in a military prison for a long time.. lots of laws being broken.. if we had better leadership that were actually loyal to the UCMJ, this show would have likely never existed. The problem is that our military today is filled with unprofessionals who take advantage, disobey.. our military is infested. The stuff in this content, CEO O’Malley, and the 5-star reviews are likely made by those exact type of individuals, who don’t take the job seriously, break the law and slide by not pulling their weight, but I guess that was the goal? The previews show a Marine pretending he’s “getting off” by the feet of a person they just killed. O’Malley mocks our dead and our heroes. Don’t support this stuff.

This is without a doubt the funniest stuff anyone who served can get. I watch it al the time. It’s got something for everyone, want a funny sketch about a barracks party gone bad you got it. Want a AFV style show where troops send in funny videos, it’s there. Want a serious show where vets use comedy to help them get through some of the terrible shot they went through. It’s on here. The best part of your shows is how there’s no PC. It’s writing is unfettered and refreshing. It seems all media, now a days, has to pass the PC test before it’s tubed into our devices. Also a huge plus to your show is, how it revolves around the military. There’s some funny crap that comes out of that culture. Having been a Marine May self, I can relate and certainly miss the free-flow banter. Keep up the great work and thanks for bringing a smile and an atmosphere of freedom to many of us.

Much needed
Hands down the darkness is real. It’s the reality of how dark we are displayed so artistically that demands more. The rage of being misled and having the few real ones cover down on the weak leadership is often joked about. However not really displayed the anger it feels to fall under such leadership. Only improvement (for me personally) is the thickness of wall baby juice should be more. Not to include taste test to ensure you was properly hydrated. Cheers 🍻🇺🇸

So originally got it because I liked some of the comedy that was coming out of it. Watched it mainly on the many 24 hour CQ or Staff Duty’s. Then I went to ALC and this thing has paid for it self. Love the messages that get put out in each show and the overall help and support that is spread through this content and app. Still haven’t told my wife I’m paying for it probably never will.

Amazing
This app is amazing, laughing with vets is the best series on the app in my opinion, hearing other vets stories and seeing what it is that they are doing to help cope with their emotional and mental illness.... thing like that are never easy but each episode makes me shed a tear knowing I’m not the only feeling certain ways.... this is extremely helpful and it’s good education for our love ones to see so they can get a better understanding on what it is some of us go though..

Delivers as promised
I’m not gonna lie I only subscribed because I like to support any veteran group in any way I can. I figured I’d subscribe for a month or two help that group and then unsubscribe. For years movies and tv have tried to recreate the military experience and veteran mentality but always fail miserably. After watching a few more episodes I was hooked, I work a night shift and this networks helps me pass the time. If you’re a veteran you will love this network.

I’ve tried
I’ve tried to share VET tv with my civilian friends. I’ve got some of the most sardonic hard core friends you’ll ever see. None of them like it, none of them get it. This really is just for vets. I haven’t laughed so hard in such a long time. Most of it is PG, (well maybe not most) it’s just only accessible to vets. It’s truly pure vet humor. If you’re a vet you’ll get it, if you’re not you won’t.
