Made whole - surprised

Viagogo is just a buyers/sellers platform and at least in my case they stood with me in my disappointment. Drove 2 hours to see Paul McCartney, only to be turned away at the gate. Someone had same tickets and those tickets were already scanned. I called Viagogo using the number from the email they sent the tickets with and the Customer Service agent tried to secure other tickets but couldn’t. (The event was sold out, dah. It’s Paul McCartney). But, at least they attempted to get me in. I received a full refund in just a couple days on my credit card plus a voucher for half of the amount ( including fees ) I spent on McCartney, as a credit towards another event of my choosing in the next 12 months. Waiting for something closer to home worthwhile to use the voucher. If it doesn’t I’ll update thus post.

The WORST for ticket sales‼️

Bought tickets to Madonna in Milan for November 2023. Realized in September 2023 I could not attend. Posted the tickets and they sold rather quickly. Tickets were transferred to me in October 2023 and that’s when Viagogo became a no go go. Viagogo is part of StubHub which is great, so buying from them I felt safe in my purchase. However, with my sales from the original owner could not change the name on the tickets from TicketMaster so I lost the sale and waiting a refund. I’ve called Viagogo six times and the calls have all been over 60 minutes with multiple transfers. Viagogo assures tickets and refunds. No where when I bought the tickets did it say not able to resell. Buying tickets 11 months out I would have never bought tickets that stated not able to resell. Also, I purchased four tickets at one time and the tickets came through as two orders which has added to the complications of my phone calls. If I don’t receive my full refund for my purchase price I will be filing a complaint with the AG office.

No issues!

I recently used this app to purchase Ateez resale tickets and had zero issue! I was worried after I read all the reviews but decided to trust the process. If you end up buying any tickets make sure to read all the things they send you after. My tickets ended up getting sent to me through Ticketmaster but first I had to click the little hyperlink “view instructions” at the very bottom of the tickets receipt page, then hyperlink at the very bottom of the instructions page. That’s the link that sent me to ticketmaster where my tickets were waiting for me! Good luck!

Lack of integrity by viagogo

I purchased tickets from viagogo, they gave me the wrong ticket. I purchased the correct ones and have documentation to prove it. Because the tickets were changed by viagogo without my consent, I was not able to use the ticket. I called the day after, as I was instructed to at the event, and viagogo said that since I didn’t call during the the moment of the issue, they would not give me a refund. However, if you look at the website, it says you have 10 days for a full refund if there’s problems with the tickets. Instead, viagogo gave me some stupid token $41 credit towards an other purchase. I wonder where they came up with that number. I will never use viagogo again and suggest that all of you stay away from this business who will not honor basic business integrity.

Complete mess

Bought tickets to Elton John in London months ago, long story short. Day of the concert still hadn’t received the actual tickets, just loops on their app and email saying “your tickets have been transferred” but no information on how to access them. Spoke for hours with at least five different customer service reps saying the tickets were transferred but nothing about now to access them. FINALLY, after speaking to about ten people, someone told me I had to download the AXS app and that’s how the tickets transferred. No mention of AXS in any email or from any of the customer service reps. Epic failure and will not be using again.

Total scam site

We bought tickets for a huge concert at Fenway Park and paid a lot of money. It was a special occasion and weekend away for my husband and I. We had to travel 3 hours so we also booked a hotel (more expenses), but were so excited to go. When I couldn’t access the tickets the week before the concert on the app, I called customer service…again and again and again. After three phone calls and many emails, I still have no tickets and no refund, even though their website guarantees it. No one ever called me back, even though I was told it was being elevated to the “relevant department” and I would have tickets. Now I have no tickets, after paying over $500. Please buy tickets through another company that is reputable and cares about its customers. There should be a “zero stars” button because it seems too kind giving them even one star. Complete scam site!

TERRIBLE customer support

Elton John has canceled his concert in Indianapolis twice now. The tickets I downloaded for the concert are on an old computer of mine that doesn’t work. Tried to redownload them on my new computer with no luck. This was over two weeks ago and I reached out to customer support. Concert is in 2 days and all they do is send me links to FAQ on their website. Two years ago I bought tickets to The Who that were rejected at the concert venue. Never got reimbursed for those. This service should be pulled given how many negative reviews they get. It’s a ripoff.

No customer support

I bought the tickets by mistake, next day I want cancel,the customer service lady told me only resell from company website no cancel, that’s fine but i can’t put my ticket on the resell ticket, I call back couple times in 10 days before the game day, but nobody can help me do the resell process, then I call last time the day before game, they told me too close the game can’t do anything, that’s ridiculous, they just want to sell you tickets and don’t care about customer support, don’t buy tickets from this company!!!!

Worked for me!!

I bought T Swift tickets and was scared to death reading reviews. (Was a VERY large purchase for 4 tickets) Had to wait months for event.. but tickets arrived. Had to resell due to change in our trip. Got paid as agreed. Site did everything it said it would. I would use it again!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - FAKES RUN WILD

I was sold fake tickets for an AC Milan game on Viagogo, which nearly ruined my Italy vacation. They were then unhelpful but simultaneously begged me to not call my credit card company, and thought I’d listen. The gall of these guys is just unreal. It’s worth the extra money to go through official event sites. And, if you ever get Serie A tickets from Giancarlo Lombardi, return them immediately and notify Viagogo. He’s a low-life, scum-of-the-earth bottom-feeding criminal who ruined a great night for me and the 22 other people who also fell victim to his scam.

Are you really selling tickets?

Bought the champions league final tickets, didn’t give me any update until 3am on the event day! They offered refund or switch to category 3 tickets (from Cat 1 that I bought) My theory is that, they don’t actually have the ticket, but just keep your money in their bank to earn interest, and refund you later. They have no intention whatsoever to make their customer happy, because it’s not in their business model.

Complete SCAM!!!!

Stay FAR AWAY!!! This is a scam app. I can’t believe Apple allows it to stay. Bought tickets to a Cubs game and the download “get tickets” step never worked. No way to contact someone. Tried live chat. - once it could be found - it’s well hidden. But then got kicked out. The AI bot for FAQ. Just gives the same completely non helpful answer over and over. Still trying to get in touch with someone and get my money back. These people belong in jail!!!

Tickets did not work

Bought tickets to Nicky Jam & Omer Adam concert. They would not scan for entry. Terrible customer experience and service. Spent hours and money for nothing. I even bought the 2 tickets individually and they both did not work. They need to do a better job authenticating sellers and helping buyers that get defrauded In 2019 I bought tickets that worked as expected.

Useless app

Just like the web site, this app is designed to make you buy tickets but then offers pretty much ZERO support afterwards. Customer “support” would be a joke if issues with tickets weren’t so expensive. Don’t even think about selling tickets with the app since the receipts for tickets bought from Viagogo keep getting rejected for not having the “right” receipts. In Chats, customer support assures the customer that the right receipts have been received, that all is well and that the listing will go through, only to have the listing rejected again. So no, don’t use viagogo if you can help it.

Horrible app

Purchased tickets first time on this app and literally can’t find them. Log out back in and nothing. Use virtual app tell me they can’t find order. Continue trying every avenue and nothing. $2800 on tickets and can’t access them. I’m going on 2 hours of this. I’ll never use this app again

Worst company, scam

I purchased tickets to see a soccer game in Portugal, best seats for a once in a life time experience. The day of the game, 2 hours before the game, they told me the seller didn’t have the tickets. Offered replacement tickets, which I assumed were similar. They gave me the worst seats on the stadium, for the price of the best. I left after 2 minutes. What a scam.

Inoperable

Would give zero stars if I could. Just don’t do it. Buy your tickets somewhere else. I hate Ticketmaster, StubHub and the rest that rake is with fees but this - not them - is sadly why we can’t have nice things. An app purporting to be an alternative but per my experience just scams you so you miss events and pay extra fees

Bad app with bad customer experience

App functions poorly-doesn’t scroll right, interface is weird, etc. And then on top of that they are shady and slow and generally frustrating to deal with. Will never book with viagogo again to be sure.

Do NOT try to buy tickets w this app

We bought tickets w this app and flew from California to Texas for an event. Even though my credit cards were charged and the app said I had confirmed tickets the day of the event the digital tickets were never delivered. Total waste of time and money!

Can’t see price

Can’t see the full total of ticket sale after you select the seats. I wanted 2 tickets, 300/each and I didn’t see fee or total price. You have to input CC info just to continue and I didn’t feel comfortable doing that.

This is a scam. I will not recommend your service to anyone. They sell tickets for 6 times more than they actually cost, and that's without taking into account the commission. They told me that the ticket costs ~$80, they sent me a ticket and on it the price was ~$15.

I don’t know what has happened with anyone else on this app, but I had no problem. I was really worried about my tickets after I read all the reviews. Make sure you download the app! Once you create a password for viagogo and download the app, you can see your purchases and e-tickets. Use the e-tickets straight from the app to be scanned when you’re entering the venue. The printed version looks weird so just use the one on your phone. I was freaking out because I thought I wouldn’t get my tickets. Yes, they charge way more than the original price, but it’s a third party seller. If you don’t want to pay extra then use another ticket seller. But viagogo did work fine for me as far as just buying tickets to an event. The tickets were real.

I purchased ticket for a soccer game in Madrid a little over a month ago before the game. Randomly, a week later, I get an email stating that event time and date had change. Unfortunately, we had to resell tickets due to our flight not getting in on time. I listed the tickets a week before the game. Tickets sold over night, and they stated I would not receive payment till after the game to confirm that tickets were valid, even though I purchased them from them. Well, 2 days AFTER the event, I get an email stating my ordered was cancelled and I will not be getting paid for the tickets. However, they canceation policy from the buyers states no refunds nor cancellations. So how is it that my tickets were able to get canceled by the buyer two days AFTER the event. Total scam, and on top of it, now I'm getting ready to get another charge of 257 dollars for selling fees. I REPEAT DO NOT but from them. It is a SCAM! I'm now, 900 dollars short, but I guarantee that this will not be the end of me.

I only realized just how fraudulent this service was until I had paid for my tickets. The ridiculous scalped price combined with the app's one-star review horror stories & pending law suits should have tipped me off, but by the time I saw these things, the transaction was already complete. All there was left to do was go to the venue and get turned away (as I figured others would have been sold the exact same ticket, and one would get in before me, making mine void). Somehow, incredibly, miraculously, I got in. Under no circumstance will I be using this service again, nor do I advise that anyone else use it. But I must give credit where credit is due. Sometimes reviews can be misleading

I bought 2 concert tickets for Celine Dion concert in Singapour since all the tickets were sold out. Just after that I read the reviews and freaked out. I decided to sell my tickets which I did. The website hold the money to make sure the tickets are valid till after the concert. After the validity of the tickets were confirmed the website released the money and deposited back to my account. I was very happy to get the refund. The website is not a fraud it’s just a platform for users to buy and sell tickets. The good thing is they keep the money until the validity is confirmed though it might take a bit long to get a refund but you will eventually get it. This was my experience anyways.

Idk how this happened. I really wanted to go to to the Stray Kids concert in Houston, but the tickets sold out within minutes on Ticket Master, so I looked them Up online. The original price for the seat that I wanted was $69, on Viagogo it was $218. Which I know they are 3rd party sellers, but that is way too high, because I was desperate I got the tickets, only after I read the terrible reviews. Idk if it was just me but they looked like pictures, and if you try to call them they will not answer. All that was left was to go to the concert. Idk how but it scanned and I was in. Never using this app again because I’m not paying 4 times the price for a 2 hour concert.

Overpriced

So I looked at the price of the ticket at first, and it said $68. Then all of a sudden I made the purchase and they charged me $100!!!!! I was livid and I looked and there was around $30 in just “booking fees”. If that’s just how this app works then I will never, ever, under any circumstances use it ever again. I paid almost double what some of my friends paid. Other people had only paid $58 for their tickets and only bought them a little while before me. So when I saw $68 I figured that was reasonable. Not only that, but apparently my ticket “won’t be available” to download until the week of... well guess what lol IT IS THE WEEK OF. Supposedly I should be able to download no less than 3 days before the event. Hopefully that happens. Like I said, I will NEVER use this app ever again. Hopefully the ticket works and I can get in without problems.

I think I just got lucky.

I bought my tickets that were actually less expensive than on some other sites. I was too late to read reviews before I bought my tickets. Despite my fears and overwhelming anxiety customer service answered my questions quickly and I was admitted into the event. I enjoyed the concert, however I will not buy from this site again, as the anxiety I experienced in the days leading up to the concert is not worth saving 10 dollars a ticket. I got lucky with my experience, however I would not recommend others to use this service.

No problem at all!

I purchased 2 tickets for El Clásico soccer match in Madrid, Spain. Everything went well. They sent me the tickets to my email, scanned them at the gate and that was it. I was in my great seats in the stadium with no problem. Viagogo made the whole process easy, I know that when you read the reviews makes you think twice, but I wanted to write this review because in my case everything went smoothly and have zero problems. Great service, great tickets at a great price. Based on my personal experience I totally recommend Viagogo to buy your tickets. Buena suerte.

Could not get my tickets

I perched tickets June 20th. The sight said I would have them June 30th for a baseball game July 7th. Still haven’t got my tickets July 5th and was told I could wait up to 3 hours before the game. The problem with this is that I was giving the tickets to my father in-law to take his friend. There would be no way to wait that long. They could not guarantee me E-Tickets would be here in-time to print. They already charged the credit card and I had no product in hand. I just got form letters by e-mail saying they are looking into it. I finally told them I didn’t want the tickets and the credit card company would be filing a claim against them. I will be calling the BBB and telling any and everyone not to deal with VIAGOGO. I got another ticket place to guarantee tickets the morning of the 6th.

Trust me, Viagogo isn’t bad to how people portray it

I bought 3 tickets to go see America vs Xolos in Tijuana which was a soccer match. Viagogo got me the best tickets for the best price since people around me were telling me they got them more expensive than I did, the view was espectacular, I had also read bad reviews so I had thought they had ripped me off since the e-tickets weren’t received until 2 days from the even, I got a PDF and printed them and had no problem with security, the tickets are legit, I hope everyone gets a good experience with Viagogo

All of the appearances of an app - none of the benefits

This app seems to be prime example of someone in IT telling the business ‘we need an app, everyone is doing it’. Then marketing and legal collaborate to remove all possible utility from the design in a misguided effort to preserve job security and ‘reduce‘risks’. I bought tickets on this app (for the last time) thinking I could just show my phone at the door like every other app. I logged in right before the concert and found that, no -in fact, I needed to find a printer and take (gasp) a paper copy with me. To add fuel to the fire, I bought 4 tickets to this concert, two with this misbegotten piece of software and two with the Ticketmaster app. I am able to show my phone with Ticketmaster and scrambling for a hotel printer with this one.

Satisfied customer

So I booked my tickets for the MLB All star series in Tokyo through Viagogo and after booking I seen the reviews on the App Store and it made me nervous but they didn’t disappoint with anything. They emailed and called me up regarding my tickets. They had arranged with the seller to ship my tickets to my hotel in Tokyo since I am from New York. Viagogo has good communication with me and even sent tracking information for the tickets. In the end everything worked out smoothly. So please don’t read into other reviews and the stars. Thank you.

SCAM - Horrible Experience

WARNING: I want to stop anyone who is contemplating using this website. By the time I had completed my transaction, the handling and booking fees incurred were out of sight. I received an email, that I would not be receiving my tickets, that I just spent a fortune on, until one week before the event, which is six months away. Does that make sense! A customer expects assurance that they have made a SOUND PURCHASE I know that I will not receive the tickets and if I do get some kind of bogus ticket download, according to past reviews, I will be turned away at the door. And, as far as reaching customer service at Viagogo, impossible. DON'T USE THIS SITE. If the site is reputable, a customer would be able to reach customer service.

So Far So Good

First of all it's very hard to believe that a company that is purportedly this good, has so few reviews! My experience with this company so far has been that they sell the tickets, and give you a confirmation number, and then cancel your order. This has happened to me repeatedly through their website, so after speaking with numerous people in their customer services department, and not having the problem resolved, I thought to try their App instead.
