Good promo price, bad experience
I’m on the fence with cancelling my subscription. I was able to catch the promo deal for $45 dollars off for 2 months. So I’m only paying $10 for my first 2 months (hopefully, because I haven’t yet been billed for my 2nd month). Anyway, the app on my Roku Premium doesn’t work more often than it works, and the app on my iPhone is constantly telling me my password and email don’t match. I liked the price of this service because of the sports channel it offers, but I’m getting ready to switch back to paying $60+ for FuboTV because I don’t have these log in issues on both the Roku and my iPhone. The price is awesome, but the experience I’m having so far is not.

I’ve tried them all, this is BY FAR the worst
I rarely take the time to write app reviews, but the consistent poor quality of my experience using this app has compelled me to write this one. I hope anyone reading this will just bypass this dumpster fire of an app and try one of the myriad services out there...they may cost a bit more, but the experience is so much better on literally every other service. This app is in love with portrait orientation. Want to log in? Better be in portrait! Want to change the channel? Same thing. Years ago this would simply be annoying. In 2021 it’s inexcusable. That said, if the interface were the only beef, this app would be passable. But my “HD” feeds are often downgraded to SD on a fast WiFi signal. Not cool. However, the most frustrating thing about this app is I have to constantly log back on. Every time almost. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. It’s worth the extra cash for me to use a service with a more consistently good user experience. The developer seems to be trying frame their product almost like a social media app with TV, which is just weird. Swing and a miss.

Here’s a fair assessment
In the land of cord cutting, there’s plenty of top tier options for consumers. The problem everyone has is finding a selection of channels that pleases the entire household. There’s always one or two channels missing from the lineup. It usually requires extra packages and that price tag goes up to $60+. While the stream quality certainly can be improved, and the app’s simplistic design isn’t anything to write home about, the channel lineup starting at the lowest tier is stellar. There’s something for the entire family. Sports, entertainment, movies, news, lifestyle, and kids are all covered. If Vidgo can improve on their stream quality, polish the app options, and retain the channel lineup they currently have, I can see this service becoming a lot more popular in the future.

Even worse than I expected
I can’t even write all of the problems across every single platform. Mobile app, iPad, Roku, desktop, they’re all riddled with problems. Can’t pause ESPN. Picture quality seems low. All apps are ridiculously slow/borderline unusable. Roku app wouldn’t accept my password even though that password worked fine on desktops and mobile versions of Vidgo. Tried this service primarily because they were one of the few with the Longhorn Network. Then when Texas plays Wyoming, the system crashes right at the start and I didn’t get to watch a single second of the game. I thought as long as a streaming service had the right channels, I could put up with a slightly inferior user experience. But this is beyond bad. Feels like a beta that wasn’t ready for production. I apologize to everyone that I recommended this service to.

Great service
I honestly don’t see why the reviews are so bad. I love Vidgo and being a sports fanatic this is such a great deal. Even after the promo it’s way cheaper than my local tv options. I love the chat and hang out feature, you can cheer on your team for others to see! Amazing service. Recommend to everyone. Thanks Vidgo! -a few things I have came across is, audio issues sometimes. (Exiting app and restarting fixes this) -roku and other streaming devices are better than using your phone I’ve noticed. It’s a little choppy. But most use Roku etc.. go big red!

Issues logging in with Roku stick
I have only had this app since January 2022 and not sure I want to continue with it. Many days it won’t let me log in. Looks like it’s starting, then closes down. Also have noticed if I watch any channel for any length of time the words don’t match the mouth, there is a delay with the sound. The voices will often distort at a very slow rate. Today I haven’t been able to log into the app on my iPhone or Roku stick. Tells me to try again later. Technical support has not responded to my request for help either. Might be time to go back to Sling. On the up side, the channel selections are decent.

ZERO stars - Don’t bother
This is the most horrible streaming service app ever (AppleTV). It is super buggy, quits constantly, sometimes making you re-login. I used for 45 minutes and had it quit 5 times. Streaming picture is super low res most of the time (and no, It’s not my bandwidth problem). You can’t get the closed captions to turn off, and when you try it won’t get rid of the guide menus all over the screen. And they say they’ve been in business for 5 years? I don’t see how. Called customer service only to have the call drop three times, and to be told they are having technical problems with their computers (no kidding). And after 1 hour of using their service, will not issue a refund. RIDICULOUSLY horrible company.

Don’t even bother
I set up the free trial and immediately noticed the stream quality was poor. There’s decent channel selection but nothing outstanding. I tried to cancel the trial before I was charged and there was no place on the app or site to do it. The billing information was blank and it showed my subscription ending at the end of the trial. Minutes later I was charged for a month. I entered a “ticket” on the website and called to let them know I was trying to cancel and by not having a way to do that they were unethical. I was transferred to a supervisor and have been on hold for over an hour and the recording telling me I’m on hold is in Spanish now, so I’m not expecting this to work out well. My guess is they are close to going under and doing everything they can to get some cash.

Very bad overall
This service is absolutely horrible the customer service you can’t get anybody on the phone when you called cancel I have submitted three support tickets last week alone for an update on Apple TV app they took the third support ticket to get a response from somebody and I told them it was missing a channel in the cable lineup they managed to fix the app that was constantly crashing on Apple TV but I have not come up with any new updates in over four weeks this is terrible and I would not recommend this service to anybody so therefore I have canceled service on just recently but I tried to call the customer service center and could not get a hold of anybody if I did the immediately hangup

Just don’t
I downloaded this app and started the free trial because it said it offered NFL Redzone. It doesn’t, what it does offer is constant freezing and buffering, app closures for no reason, for an hr it continued to tell me “sorry your account isn’t available at this moment, please try again later. This was all in the first day, I cancelled the subscription the next day. I only waited a day because they do not offer technical support over the weekend and it was Sunday. Do not waste your time and potentially money on this service. I’m not the only person who had these issues Vidgo also services as a social media platform the comments were full of the same type of complaints.

Request- Work on compatibility w/ Apple
Ok here’s what I’m seeing after a couple of months trying to make this work for my family. I really liked the channels offered and the accurate local channels assigned to our account. When I use my phone app, the user interface seems pretty intuitive and I like that. However... I’m rarely trying to stream on my phone. Maybe 2-5% of the time. The Apple TV doesn’t like Vidgo... or vice versa. It reminds me of similar problems I’ve had in the past for apps designed for droid... etc. (only 10x worse) I could never get the app to work on any of our TVs. We use Apple TV in every room if the house, we all have iPhones, iPads, etc. I hoping that others are enjoying Vidgo, but no luck for me. Please make this app more compatible for Apple TV... I’d love to give y’all a second chance and an updated review!

Almost was 5 stars
I would have selected 5 stars except there are a couple of channels missing that I like - TBS & TNT. I watch those channels a lot so disappointed VIDGO doesn’t have them BUT they do have a lot of channels I like. I haven’t had any performance issues. My subscription end in a month and have canceled my subscription because of missing those two channels. But if you don’t care about those channels this is a great app. Lots of sports. I’ll stay with SLING. Update: it is also miss CNN and MSNBC. It has FoxNews but I HATE Fox News. Another reason to cancel.

Wish I could give zero stars
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!! I recently made this mistake and after a 7 day free trial I was having issues canceling my subscription. After contacting customer service I was told that they would not refund me after being charged as I agreed to their terms and conditions… if i reach out to you to cancel that’s not agreeing!! They will decline you any sort of refund. I have never in my life of subscriptions had this problem where customer service is so poor and refunds are declined even when you tried to cancel. If you read any reviews or go to their Facebook page you will see I’m not alone. They just want your $$$!

Don’t trust, it’s fraud.
Worst tv provider ever! We got subscription 2 days ago, for trial with $10 per month for two months. Tv is not working for channels it was supposed to show (ESPN, FOX, etc.) when we wanna cast in on tv (just shows on phone in their app) so we called yesterday and the person we talked to, had no clue about anything, just reading the information in the website that we already knew and finally they issued a ticket for technical issues!!! And today, they charged me $55!!! It is not even working and they charged me $55, not even $10 that was supposed to be! Just save your money and do not trust this company.

I just downloaded it
So far so good. There are more expensive apps that looked more refined, but I think 10 bucks for live tv for the first 2 months is a good deal. I always expect live tv to be simple. The subtitles are on and I don’t know how to turn them off. You can’t go back and forth like the others apps, but again I don’t mind that, that’s why I want live tv. The quality is HD.

Not even worth the 20 bucks for the first month
I work nights and sometimes I have time to watch a football game. They had the game I wanted to watch so I pay 20 bucks and watch the game. The next week I try and watch another game. Nothing but a black screen. I try restarting my device, nothing, I uninstall and reinstall the app nothing, I uninstall the app restart my device again nothing. I tried a second device nothing. What a ripoff fix your stuff or go out of business because the way your app works you are just scammers.

Price is right
The price is right but constantly getting low def streams using the service. The poor stream quality makes me download the app for each station I watch so I have a bunch of different apps to watch the half dozen channels I want to see. The app is really basic and has a poor guide. I’m sure they’ll fix that but fixing the stream quality might be problematic at this price point. Unfortunately I’m not looking to spend any more. Still uncertain if I’ll stick around.

Top tier pricing, bottom tier service. Needs work!!
Thankfully, I only did the $20 monthly trial and do not commit to a more expensive plan. I have had issue after issue with this service. The app frequently glitches, lags, unexpectedly closes, signs me out, etc. The mobile app does the same. The channel lineup is pretty good, but the user interface is awful and the development of the platform needs a lot of attention. Vidgo wants to charge top tier prices with bottom tier prices.

Need help
Hi I’ve been trying to log in my account which I payed for my subscription and the password I put supposedly is incorrect now I send the reset password they never send me an email. Now if you guys play games with the customers I’ll be playing games with you guys and take you to court .. I’m a 911 operator I don’t got time to be playing games I want to be home and relax not be frustrated about a thing that I don’t got access too.. please help me out or you will hear from my lawyer cause I can’t be having an account that charges me for something that I don’t even have access too...

Too buggy for the money
Does it work? Sort of. They have a great selection of channels, but the video will consistently freeze, forcing you to back out and select “view now” again. You’ll have to do this every few minutes. If they could fix this, then this would be a great option.

Won’t work when the game is on
I tried a subscription to this app for football season. They lured me with a $20 for first month discount. This is the absolute worst streaming service. First of all, they don’t even have local channels like CBS, Fox, or NBC. This literally removes 3 hot channels for sports , yet they advertise that they were voted number one for college sports. Yeah right. When you try to log in for the big game, it will tell you that your not permitted randomly. This isn’t the streaming service you want, period. Not for sports or anything.

Vidgo seems to be getting it right and continually and constantly improving features functionality and probably one of the cleanest video streams out there with very low latency and buffering. Support was very helpful with any questions I had as well!

Vidgo scammed me
Was led on with a free 7 day cancellation which I did. Now nearly a month later they claimed that deal ended before I signed up despite the fact it was right there on the screen when I signed up. Also when I cancelled their rep said I should get my refund. Lastly they purposely make it difficult to cancel by making you call them after going thru a lengthy online process. Run for the hills letting go of any idea that Vidgo is a good thing to get into.

Great streaming app for sports etc
I just got Vidgo for the various sports channels and so far so good. The quality has been great using my Roku tv as well as the phone app. Sports channels you usually don’t get or have to pay premium prices like Stadium, bein sports, SEC network, Pac-12 network, ACC network all included.

Almost missed football
The service through the Vidgo app went out on a Saturday. No idea how long it is going to take to get back up. One of the other reviews said they were able to log directly into the espn app using the vidgo credentials which allowed me to see. But it is frustrating having to do. But cheaper than cable.

You only get 4 hours to try the app. Kinda need more time than that. Other companies give you 3 days or 7 or sometimes up to a month, but 4 hours 😂. Then when you go to cancel online, you then HAVE TO CALL TO ACTUALLY CANCEL!!!! I’m currently on hold to cancel the app I never even used. I’m one of those that if you make this difficult, I will never use your app!!

Keeps crashing
The app was working great until the last update. I like the new features, but the app crashes every 5 to 15 minutes. Please fix. Just isn’t usable as is. I’ll give a little time for them to get this fix, but will need to move no soon.

Not Ready for Prime Time
When I want to click to enlarge the screen, it closes the video and logs me out. When I first open up a stream, it buffers like a 14.4 bps computer. This doesn’t happen with any other streaming apps. It may be cheap, but it’s an awful product. Y’all need to figure simple stuff out of close up shop. Update: I wasn’t sure it was possible, but as the day has worn on, this app has gotten worse. Now it shuts off and logs me out when I rotate my screen. When I attempt to tap the icon to get back into my program it does NOTHING. Thanks for the cheap trial, but I’m cancelling it today and going back to sling. Even if it’s more expensive, at least it WORKS.

Absolutely Terrible!
Decided to try this service. On the second day, the platform was fully down and not useable for over 15 hours. Once I was able to re-access the platform and sign in, I did so to cancel the service. Here’s a weird side note - to cancel the service, I was required to answer questions about my age, gender, and race. Why is this information needed???

Too bad Zero Stars isn’t an Option
Do not waste your time or money using this service. This thing is literal trash. I cancelled after a single day. The guide menu never works. You can’t easily switch between channels which is super annoying. It says channels aren’t streaming anything when they are airing games. The interface on both the mobile and tv app is awful.

Worst designed app I have EVER used
This is the first app I have ever reviewed. Worked in the mobile app industry for 15 years and this is without a doubt the worst UI and UX I have encountered. With so many streaming apps to model against I’m laughing at how hard it is to select a show to record within the VIDGO UI. Horrible. Wanted to watch some CFB that wasn’t available in my region, but needless to say I’m canceling after a month.

Awful app
When you’re discount trial is over and they charge you the regular price, they cut off the service the moment you cancel even if you’ve just paid for the full month. I’d rather pay for something I don’t have access to than risk getting charged a second month for this crappy app. It’s really not worth the trial. I regret using the trial.

Not worth it
App constantly crashes and reloads service when streaming is low quality but most of the time is buffering. The service is not much cheaper compared to others, The quality is night and day. Spend an extra few dollars and get something reliable.

WORST STREAMING SERVICE EVER
This streaming service is terrible. It took forever just to be able to get the app to open. When it finally opened, it would work for a little while, then it would crash and you have to delete the app and try to start all over again. P.O.S. Not worth it. Do not buy any package!!!

The iPad version is tolerable, but the Apple TV version is useless. It works much better on Fire TV. You can pause skip, ahead, etc. on Fire TV. Access the saved shows from the previous 24 hours. A good concept poorly executed on Apple TV. I sure the poor remote design has something to do with it.

Half-baked
Good selection of channels with the promise of more being added soon. But the service itself is half-baked and glitchy, to the point of not being worth the trouble. Sling and Philo are still better alternatives. Hopefully they can fix their issues soon.

The app itself is really simple, I was charged and I tried getting a refund. And the lady that was helping me out was so cutting. For the price they charged I really don't recommend it. There's a lot of more options for a better price, and better customer experience.

Every time I try to open it up and sign in it says there is an error and to try again later. Close out the app. Try again. Doesn’t work. Wait a day - same problem. I’ve reset my password even just to make sure - still doesn’t work.
