I have literally spent hours yesterday and today trying to book a flight on the website. I have gotten several errors including declining my payment on my credit card, and then on my husband’s. I checked with the credit card company, and no charges were attempted on either card. There were other misc errors that locked things up, like telling me my email already existed. I ended up downloading the app, and everything went through smoothly and perfectly the very first try.

There are only a total of 16 reviews which the majority of are terrible 5 stars so hopefully this message will go to the top and save someone hours of valuable time and unexpected funds.. they make it impossible to check in online so they can charge you at the gate. The app and website will take you on a series of circles and waste your time. First time.. Last time. Watch out mates

Good flights

I enjoy going with Volotea much more than Ryanair unfortunately you decided to leave Trieste airport which is much more convenient for me so I had to change carrier many times

Avoid this airline

Neither website nor the app would provide me with a mobile boarding pass and instructed me to go to the desk at the airport to print one out despite it being 2022. Airport was a hot mess as hundreds of people on the same flight had the same problem and there weren’t any self serve kiosks to print a simple boarding pass. App and website also gave us multiple error codes whenever we tried to manage our own booking and saying that the reservation could not be found despite us being able to check in. Will avoid this airline in the future.

Garbage app for a garbage airline

Volotea is garbage. This app is also garbage. Do yourself a favor and pick another airline. Good luck trying to talk to a human if you need support. Their “chat” service is merely a bot. Not helpful. No ability to add bags on the app after you book. You will be picked apart by fees and extras. Contracted airport employees (like Swissport) are slow, incompetent, dismissive, etc. Boarding is a disorganized mess and airplanes are dirty. Inflight service is a joke.

The most deceptive airline

I purchased a few flights from this airline and decided to get megavolotea. Well that was a mistake to say the least. At the gate they charged me €30 extra to get my boarding pass. Thought I had priority boarding turns out that’s not included with the paid subscription. So deceptive not worth the money

Abuses notifications for promotions

The app abuses the notification system to send promotions, unfortunately negating valuable uses such as sending up to date flight information, etc, if you choose to disable notifications to avoid this nonsense.

This app is complete garbage. I spent 40 minutes trying to check in for my flight and never succeeded. I would give the app 0 stars if I could.

shadow check-in fees!! DO NOT FLY ON THIS AIRLINE!

1. wouldn't let me check in on the app, despite it being a few hours before the flight. 2. required me to go to the airport to check in. 3. was charged 30 euros to get my boarding pass sounds like a scam to me.... plane ticket that was marketed as 50 euro should have been marketed as 80. avoid this airline.

First time... last time

Worst app ever. Tried to set up account. Took me three tries. Finally booked as a guest. Then app kept locking up and freezing. Took me 45 minute to book the flight!
