War Planes Inc WW2 Plane Games

This game is amazing. I love that you can upgrade your aircraft to make it stronger in the air and when it’s time to land. I also love that the aircraft aren’t made up and that the game includes the SPAD fighter. The only thing that I am not so happy about is the visuals. But, great visuals aren’t required to make a great game. The one thing that truly matters is the gameplay. At the start you can’t fly far before you either get shot down or crash because of an empty tank. It proves a big challenge and once you are able to upgrade, you can choose any upgrade that you can afford at the moment. But, you can’t just upgrade anything without looking. The reason being, it can come back at you and it won’t end well. Another thing I like is the visuals you will get as you start a flight. It really shows the depth of the story. It also holds sadness as we are able to see that our pilot has a wife and a child. He even lies in his note so that he doesn’t cause his wife to be frightened at the fact that he is not an engineer, but a pilot. Everything about this game is a 10/10. This game deserves a lot more love.

This game is unbelievable. I search for hours sometimes on the AppStore, searching for a game that is actually good and it not easy. Nowadays, you have all these games that you just sit there and press one button and do nothing else. I hate it. Very rarely do I find a game on mobile that meets my criteria. I saw this game from a video and loved the art style, plus the WWII plane caught my eye. When I first played it, I struggled with the controls. It took me several flights of getting used to it, but I soon got the hang of it and began LOVING it. The great thing about this is that you can play it for as long as you want. There’s no certain amount of “lives” or time limit. It does take a little time to grind to get a good enough plane, but it’s a lot of fun to just strafe and bomb. I don’t know what it it about the art style, but I love it. Graphics are a big part of what I like, but that also doesn’t mean that they have to be 4k. It’s honestly one of my favorite games now, and I hope more and more people find this and appreciate how much this game has to offer.

I really have no words to describe the straight Mona Lisa of games this man has created. First of all to get this out of the way, yes there are ads but unlike most games with ads you can just turn on airplane mode (ha) and you’ll be set! The game is great on road trips and other stuff sure there’s a few things like the machine gunners and flak being able to shoot through the ground but your an airplane so you should be in the air so it doesn’t really matter. This games replay ability is just delightful, played through this game almost 3 times now not really sure cause I lost track but each time I play it feels like the first time i played this game. Lastly the loading screens don’t take long and oh my goodness the loading screen art is absolutely fantastic it makes me cream. So if your debating weather or not get this game keep in mind there is a learning curve since you have to learn basic maneuvers to avoid flack and mgs but other than that download this game

To the dozen or so people that will read this, this game is just different from other mobile games that focus on monetization. Sure, this game does have ads, but this is expected for free mobile games. Progressing through the game feels satisfying and sometimes a bit slow, but slowly and surely, you will get your plane to the next landing strip. The story and world is slowly told with pictures, letters, and man, those pictures make war seem so brutal. (as war games should do) The way James, the main character, flies through the flak and machine gun fire, only to be captured in the spotlight and exploded, makes blockbuster heroic ww1&2 movies seem shallow. This game really captures what really happened 99% of the time. Games like this are few and there should be more. It shows that the developer who created this really cares about the finished product and, if you have the spare money and want to support this developer, the MiG 29 is a really good deal.

Wow. I played the entire campaign it took me over 200 flights to finish and in those 200 flights I upgraded all the planes fully without paying any money. This game is what happens when the developers truly care about the history behind a subject , the quality of the game, the story they create, and the satisfaction of their customer. There is no pay to win mechanics , you can purchase things like a modern jet fighter to play the campaign with and unlimited amo, plus some cool modes. However , there’s nothing that takes away from the story. I think a small nit pick that could be fixed is their ad system. In the game you can watch an ad to double your earnings for that flight it’s a fast way to get money but sometimes it glitches and doesn’t work. I would also like to see a continuation of the campaign and more story as to what happens after. I’m happy I found this game, 100% recommended.

There seems to be AD’s everywhere in this game and it ruins it. On top of that, the Flak guns can literally shoot you through the map, even through solid structures like mountains/hills. There are also certain hit boxes that will destroy your plane like rope. Blimps are tied down and you can’t go under it because you’ll destroy your plane. When you fly over it, your landing strip is so close it makes a micro peen looks like a 13 incher. With that, you’re just blowing up on the runway. The really only way to land your plane is to literally cut your engine off way before and coast to it. The little joystick is garbage as well as the bomb/gun buttons. There have been multiple times where I tried to manipulate my altitude and close out the game accidentally. I really wanted to like this game, and I gave it multiple chances. But unfortunately even though it was a great concept, lack of development and failure to provide ultimate screwed this game over. One last bug is the fact even though I have it set in English, Russian words keep popping up for some odd reason. But all I have to say about that is Glory To Ukraine.

This game is one of if not the best games ever I’m not even mad about that you can pay for like extra modes I know how it terrible it may feel for a dev to do that but people come on the man is trying to get some money off the game he has to pay bills and stuff so I don’t blame him the controls are good not hard to learn but easy to comprehend also the campaign is cool I love it brings a war aspect and it makes me feel like a pilot during the war I really hope the creator makes more games because starting off this game it’s amazing it has good controls that are easy to know a good campaign that attracts people and has some good modes that are actually fun I really hope this creator makes more games and stuff anyways that’s all I have to say about the game and such and with kindness from my heart thank you for making this game dev I really hope you make more stuff like this

Bravo, man, bravo. This is truly a diamond in the rubble, I didn’t think a historical game with such high effort and gameplay quality existed on a mobile platform, but here we are. The story, and the way it’s told trough illustrations and letters from your only loved one, is truly perfect. The depiction of war as a sad, brutal, and grueling event, is also amazing. Most games just use war for monetization, the most notable example is warpath, a game that has potential in the beginning, but ultimately turned to cheap monetization and money-making strategies that make its WW2 aspect fade (if you can even call it WW2) However, this game stays on topic, and it’s gameplay is unique and (mostly) accurate. It’s good to know that teams like yours still care about making a product it’s consumers will enjoy, and not something designed to churn out as much money as possible. Have you ever played Dark Souls? Shadow Hunter even? Have you played pve/pvp dog fighting games like Ace Combat or War Thunder? Then this game is probably for you! The flight mechanics in this game are phenomenal, a bit wonky at times but its easily remedied with a few mathematical tweaks to the coding. This game is probably the best 2D dogfighting game on mobile you will ever get your hands on, featuring difficult levels and a relatively long but engaging grind. The game is not necessarily hard either, it just has a learning curve and some astute concentration on the reticle. This game, while not absolutely perfect, has the greatest potential of any Souls-like game of its kind. This is also probably the best art style for a 2d sim I have seen in a while, surpassing that of beautifully designed backgrounds of games like Shadow Hunter. Dmitry and associates, you are doing great and I would love to see you guys create and develop more!

The deep story woven within the game completely outclasses all other mobile games that I have ever played. The gameplay is super unique and easy to understand. The physics are surprisingly accurate. The progression always gives you a challenge but does not make it impossible. Although these qualities greatly outweigh the slightly annoying bugs they are still there and so they must be addressed. 1 for some upgrades for your plane they are a in a completely different language than the others I have tried fixing it by changing the language it it never seems to work. 2 I have to reload the campaign every time I get to a checkpoint or finish a mission or else I play with the same map. Over all this is one of the best mobile games out their and deserves a 5/5

I know I probably sound like a bot but I’m going to say the truth this game is amazing the creator actually cares about the player base first of all so that just about makes me give it at least a four star rating but then also there’s no forced ads the graphics are amazing even though they’re not 4k they are so good it is a little hard to get the hang of the controls and get a good plane but you will enjoy every step of the way because you find yourself liking a game on the AppStore which I feel like is so rare cause most games you have a joy stick you grab stuff sell it get money hire workers repeat but this game has variety you have to dodge bullets and missiles and is just overall a five star game thank you for your time and thank you Dima for making this game.

This was truly an excellent game, and I’ve only done the campaign. The campaign was great. You definitely had to work for your upgrades, but it didn’t feel like it was too grindy. The planes you unlocked got progressively better and more interesting, which was also nice. While there were paid items to get money, I never felt like it was a necessity to buy, even though I did to support the devs. The storyline that was interleaved in the campaign was actually quite good, and I really, really appreciated the little tidbits of information about WW2 that are in the game. And even further than the campaign, there are a multitude of modes that seem extremely fun and interesting. This game is super fun and unique and I can’t recommend it enough.

There’s so many positive things to say that I don’t even know where to start. First of all, amazing gameplay. I love how the game is laid out and how the game itself looks. Gameplay is easy to master and fun while doing so. Almost no ads and it’s a very player friendly game. I usually don’t write reviews on games but I thought that this was so good that I needed to. The upgrades are cool, the descriptions put in for the upgrades, the maps, the planes, everything is amazing. Props to the game developers for making such a great game. Anyway, that’s all I have to say. To sum it up, amazing gameplay and the fact that mobile games are usually crappy and have loads of ads, this game is a rare gem.

Honestly a really good mobile game. I like how he added all that history stuff to it and really showed how cruel the war was with the campaign. One thing is keeping it from a five star. That’s the bugs. I cannot tell you how many times I will reach a checkpoint over and over again but the game will still start me from the previous checkpoint. This has been a recurring problem and is keeping me from finishing the campaign. If that got fixed then I’d be happy to change it to a five star review. Also as a side note: sometimes the descriptions of the different upgrades will still be in Russian when everything else is in English. That’s probably just a small patch but it’s a quality of life kind of fix. Keep up the good work, Дима!

In terms of realism, it hits the spot. For a mobile game, it’s extremely realistic, but still simplistic in flight controls to make it easy to understand, and a fun challenge. I was so infuriated that it took me 17 tries just to land in the tutorial, but I had WAY too much fun doing it! Before I knew it, I’ve spent a entire hour just flying and having a blast on the first mission. Amazing game, definitely going to recommend it to others. (PS For The Dev: Perhaps add war medals in the future that act as achievements? Maybe even some hidden ones as well? Just some food for thought :) I love what you’re doing with the game, and I wish you the best of luck, friend.)

This game has something that I dont see in a lot of games, and that is the way your actions directly influence the outcome of each flight. Even your choice to climb or gain speed at the beginning can impact the way you land. The story is also great, which i will not spoil. However, the glitches are a big problem in the game, usually popping up when you beat the campaign. They make it impossible to do anything. Summary: Not for a person that wants an easy win, good for people that really like when they finally beat something hard, or just a person that likes having theyre actions impact everything.

Compared to games made by a game studio this game surpasses them. I have always had an interest in planes especially from the Second World War makes this game even more fun for me but the hidden humor in the notes always give me a laugh when I read it. Even the simplistic art work is done well and is quite enjoyable to view. The only thing I don’t like so far is the fact that there isn’t that many different planes to choose from since it seems to be all German and 1 American bomber but maybe I just haven’t gotten far enough to find more still a great game and worth checking out.

The game is pretty fun, once you get the hang of the controls and how to land a plane, it isn’t that bad! The planes so far are pretty cool, too bad you can’t use old ones for newer parts of the campaign. Anyways, now to the negative part that is about to make me quit the game altogether… It’s the spam of AA guns. I’m on a level where I get twin engine plane, and so far I’m unable to reach the end. Often my plane gets peppered with AA fire, by the time I get halfway to the next refueling stop, I’m almost dead. Often I also fail at landing the plane. As of now, I’m still playing the level trying to get past it. It’s a slog, and it’s just tiring to see your plane lose everything within a second of getting past a AA gun nest. I do not recommend this game for people who doesn’t have patience.

I wish I could give this game more than 5 stars. Me and my brother play this game every morning, and the graphics are just so cool, detailed and awesome! I really like how you can upgrade stuff on your plane to get better, and then the drawings and descriptions for these upgrades are really awesome. I also like the felling of some things actually being hard, also it’s nice that once you’re done upgrading one plane, it’s not like oh well you’ve completed the whole game too bad! Because there are MORe planes with DIFFERENT MAPS. The music and sound affects are very good too and helps set the mood, this game is so awesome.

The game is amazing, the art style, the music, it’s all so depressing, I haven’t even gotten halfway through the game and I can’t wait to see the ending, and also the gameplay, it’s fair, do well with the right upgrades, and you get rewarded, do the opposite and you meet your end more often than most, and I find it interesting how the story progresses through the map, the notes between James and Anna, the propaganda posters, and the updates from the newspaper, so cheers to you for making a truly unique game in a market oversaturated by low quality reskins of the same game.

Initially, I really enjoyed this title. Flying was fun, but in order to progress you must fly the same mission 30+ times to earn sufficient cash for the numerous upgrades to be able to survive the 1st mission. The other option is just pay real money to get credit and buy the upgrades to reduce the grind time. Then you must fly 30+ or pay up again on other missions after you advance into a new plane. Upgrading to jet planes or nuclear weapons apparently is only available through additional in-app purchases. Well this business model is No Fun for the consumer! If this were a trial version that offered a full upgrade for $9.99, I would happily buy it. As it stands, being repeatedly nickel and dimed for this experience is just not worth it and is disappointing for a game with a lot of potential.

This is a side scrolling, action, flight game, where you play the part of a pilot, who mainly partakes in ground attack missions. This is also one of those games where you will fail a lot. And because you fail a lot you will get a lot of ads. A lot a lot of ads. This can be very annoying. You can also watch an add to double your income at the end of a level, but it’s on a five minute cool down so it doesn’t feel very pay to win. There is also a bug where a lot of text seems to be written in the Cyrillic alphabet.(I don’t know exactly which language.) other than that, it’s a pretty awesome game, that I would recommend! So the one problem for me that does not make this game a five star game to me is that I got it a few months back I spent money on it to get the air defense mode and the modern jet but when it got this new update it just deleted that stuff, the thing that really pisses me off is that I spent 10 bucks on that and it also delayed all my progress with the campaign mode which I completed when I got the modern jet so that’s the one thing that brings this game down to a 4 star game for me I would totally recommend it to those who are looking through this review and the other reviews it’s just that one problem that I have with it.

There is a lot to unpack in this game and I’m only on the first level, but I think it’s fair enough for me to write a review on it. First off, it’s an epic game. I love basically everything about it but my favorite part is probably that you can see where you got damaged and you can upgrade and armor certain parts. Second, there are very few ads. Just the way games should be, lots of game time and minimal ad time. The game is just all around nicely coded, smooth gameplay, and easy to get used to. Would recommend downloading 10/10

I play mobile games constantly… too much, and let me tell you that this game is the best time killer you’ll find. It’s not a game that I would usually play only because I usually play games that take a lot of time like cod mobile, PUBG, strategy games, role playing games, etc. but you will not find a better game to play if you need something to kill a few minutes while waiting in a waiting room or just to kill time when you’re bored. You won’t find a better one I promise you. A definite 5 star 100%

This game (as the title suggests) has so much potential and in the game you can tell that the creator is really trying to make this a game worth some of your time and they really are putting plenty of effort into. It surprises me that such a well put together game does not get as much recognition as it deserves. The flight mechanics are smooth all though I think that they aren’t always the most responsive. And I hope to see how this game progresses in the future, and it’s creator really cares about it and isn’t focused on making money.

I believe this game has a lot more potential than you see at the start. The way the game plays reminds me of the old Earn to Die games except WW2 edition. The game has a bit above average physics. The landing is a bit touchy but pretty good overall. Also for those people talking about the white screen glitch, it’s fixed now, my phone did the same thing but now I have been able to play and got to the IL-2 in one day. Amazing game and I very much hope that more big and amazing updates come to the game.

Finding this game was like finding hidden treasure. I love the implementation of the tips on the loading screen so much. The way the joystick plays is a bit sensitive at first but you get used to it. The actual gameplay is addicting, upgrades are fun to work towards and you earn just enough after each round to make it challenging. As the cherry on top, Minimal ads! Still on the campaign right now. If I had the money to, I’d totally buy the jet and air to air mode! It’s a fun little game, love it. Keep it up!!

This game is really really well made. The developer obviously put a lot of effort into making a game they would be proud of. At the surface level, the game is the same idea of Learn to Fly or a similar game. You go for a flight, earn money, upgrade equipment, and go for another flight. The amount of thought out into the equipment, planes, artwork, and story elevate the game into a true masterpiece. I can’t imagine how long it took to make this, as I haven’t even discovered everything in the game yet. Definitely worth trying out

I do not go out of my way to write reviews often, but this one absolutely deserves it. This team has put together an absolutely stunning game that actually pieces together a fantastic story if you pay attention. I desperately wish I had done so from the beginning, perhaps they would create a section of the game where you can go back and read all of the letters you collect in the game? I am genuinely surprised by this game. Most mobile games these days are just money grabs, but this one is actually interesting.

I play your game and I find it amazing, a true Diamond in the rough. The gameplay and original storyline are amazing. But one thing made me so mad and sad at the same time. I was on the 4th plane and hadn’t logged on for a day or two. When I got back all of my progress was COMPLETELY deleted in everything. I even spent 8 dollars just for some in game money and now I CANT use it as it’s gone with wherever my game file went. So PLEASE help me figure out what happened cause im just heartbroken. The game was so fun and I was starting to get to the good stuff just as it disappeared. Please fix this bug.

This game is a true hidden gem. I personally love the gameplay and the grim atmosphere. I like all of the amazing historical details along with a subtle but impactful story. The only problem I have with this game is that sometimes, the game just becomes a white screen. This seems to happen at random and after happening, pressing start on the menu does nothing. I ultimately have had to restart the game twice because of this. Still great game though. Maybe this bug’s just because of my phone.

this game is so good like nowadays you just see these games either. ______ runner or ______ inc those games aren’t fun but this game is a great simulation game I rarely find mobile games that are actually fun this game is a whole lot different I love the art style and it never gets old there’s is a great sandbox mode and the campaign is really good overall I give this game 5 stars! When I saw this game I thought it was a rip off/money maker game but when played it it was really cool and what surprised me the most is there was emotion like a game I like called valiant hearts. And the best thing is that in all the time I played the game NO ADS now that’s epic in most games I “try out” witching one min I see 5 ads but not this game the developer actually cares about the community unlike ketchapp or game pie but the only thing is it’s incredibly hard on the first level I had to go through 8 TIMES but over all I’m already addicted thank god this exists

Now I’m not saying that your game doesn’t have any potential but some of thing that do bug me is.1 why can’t we go back to the planes we we’re just using it make sense to use your old plane that is decked out in upgrades when you’re new doesn’t even have enough bullets for your guns.2 your aiming reticle is not very good I kinda good at geometry and I understand that that want to make realistic sense but it just horrible. Now for the good stuff the way you can bomb that is realistic you have to slow down and dive or time it just right so that it hits 3 tanks/trucks at the same time is awesome.

And above all, it was made by you. It is your game, which you put your sweat and tears into. You are not some corporation trying to get money from me, you just want to make this game. Thank you. Oh, and thank you for the warning about totalitarianism. A lot of games don’t do that. Your respect for others beliefs is admirable.

This game is amazing. I have fully upgraded my plane and I haven’t even beat the campaign yet. I can’t wait to beat it. This is a five star game even with my one complaint will actually too my first complaint for some reason all of a sudden it keeps kicking me back out and I can’t play it. I’m very sad about this, second complaint the landing is too hard. It could be just that I’m an 11-year-old.

This game looked different than most games on the App Store, which interested me. Was I right about that! This game has a great progression system and is extremely entertaining to play. The developer is amazing and truly cares about the player base. I hope they add more games similar to this to the store and continue to update this one. Upgrading planes and learning how to be better at the game is fun and challenging (but not challenging where it is annoying). Give this game a try!

To get rid of ads, turn on airplane mode. I love the letters sent to Anna and James, it’s a shame they both died. At least they are together. I loved the gameplay too! The upgrades were a bit expensive, but getting more money as you progress helps A LOT. I would highly recommend playing Warplane Inc. It’s great! There is one thing though, I played through for the first time, and after I finished, the screen turned white when I opened the app, and I had to re-download.

This game is really fun and the story is very good and the fighter jet is op and I tried to not play it through the whole game so I could enjoy the game more and I recommend this game if you have patience cuz it’s kinda hard it your 11 and under I would not recommend playing it if you have a short temper I wish it was more air craft and the b29 is to small In my opinion and some of the text is still Russian and needs to be translated really good game recommend for 11 and under

This game is so great to just sit down and play for a while. Really entertaining and keeps you in the game as you improve your plane and get further into each mission. Lots of replayability with each mission giving you ample opportunity to pick and choose your targets. It’s hard to find games like this anymore. Rarely do you see a developer who makes a game they actually would like to play on their own and enjoy. The low frequency of ads makes it far more tolerable to use the free version than other games that hit you with an ad after every attempt. I bought the dev package in the store and I feel it’s worth it, but that’s up to your own judgement on whether you want it or not. Send your best bro that screenshot if you think they’d like this cause I certainly did.

I love this game, it’s one of my new favorite pastimes when I can’t use my computer, but it is a bit tainted by the sheer number of ads. I know the creator has ads to make a living, but I feel like I get an ad after every button. I understand if he can’t reduce the number of them, it’s just a gripe I have since it’s not uncommon for there to be the occasional accident on takeoff. Maybe make it so that ads only play after a flight if you reach a certain distance from the airstrip?

I’ve been playing for few days and so far have seen only a handful of ads. I cannot tell you how refreshing this is the gameplay is very entertaining and the animation style is simple but immersive. Ended up buying the special package for the mig 29 and nukes but I still use the regular in game planes just as much because they’re all fun in their different ways. For sure one of the better games on the App Store if you like warplanes and are tired of money grab games.

But I think it should be more real I love this game and highly recommend it but I think the guns that are shooting at you should reload or run out so the guns don’t just go crazy now this is coming from a bomber Gunner I like the ammo thing where you have to buy more and run out at some point yah so like I was saying it would be more realistic because they would run out like when I was last in the plane when they stopped to reload and we got away

Even though this is a 2d game, it very much excepts that and turns something like a 2d cartoon game into a fully fledged story and battle game! Even with its own lore! This game is absolutely amazing and props to the guys for learning English! Hes really good at it. The only two problems is that the light thingy that shines up at the air to see if theirs anybody attacking, sometimes looks into the ground. And the tutorial is really hard. But other than that this game is amazing absolutely get this if your into war and planes!

WW2 dogfight games are not easy to come across but this is so fun I’m constantly playing for hours upgrading my airplane and that’s just one of many airplanes in this game. The simple animation is so beautiful in this game but yet so very detailed whoever is the developers of this app put in hours of love and details. I’m learning new things about this with tips( a lot of games don’t really give out HELPFUL tips but this game does) I can’t wait to tell all my friends about this game!! 10/10✨

We often find ourselves getting upset at mobile games for having unbearable amounts of ads or paywalls. But this game is pretty sweet it was great enough for me to go and install other games from the dev because they have clearly put a lot of care and attention into the game. So just do yourself a favor and download it worst case scenario you don’t like it and delete it. Ads aren’t crazy and when they do pop up they’re legitimately 5 seconds.

This games plot and idea are unique and special, which I love, but it’s also historical, which I also love. For some reason though, when I open the app, instead of the loading screen showing the ship, it stays white and doesn’t let me play the campaign or anything. Is there something wrong on my end? I deleted the app and redownloaded it to no avail. Still one of my favorites, 5 star for sure

I spent some money to help out the developer and bought the special pack but never got the jet or the other game modes or anything at all great game though landing is a bit tough to get the hang of but easy once you do and to all the people who didn’t make past the tutorial rating this game 1 star please read the instructions in the tutorial on how to land and try again it’s a great game once you get to play would be 5 star if not for the special pack bug

This game is amazing, it has very little ads, and it feels like it was made with love unlike so many other mobile games. The only downside is that some descriptions were in Russian but besides that this game is one of the few that I would recommend spending money. Not to simply get something but to also support these truly amazing developers. One other issue is that I deleted the game and when i redownloaded it I tried to restore my purchases but it didn’t work. Overall 4/5
