Such a wonderful app. Would be 5 stars if it had a captions option. I know it did at one point, but that seems to be removed. Unless I’m missing something, that seems like a weird thing to remove. Thanks for the wonderful app. Just really wish there was a captions option.

First the video pauses for like a minute, then unpauses for 25 seconds then oausee again. I think this is due to the video loading as when I manually paused the video for 10 minutes it played for around 3 minutes before pausing again. I have also encountered a new issue where if I try to watch any video I just get taken to a gray screen with a play button that doesn’t work. Whenever I try and switch severs the app automatically switches to a different one? Why allow me to switch severs if the app just changed it? Also for the curated for you page there is a noticeable amount of repeaterd videos. I have restarted, turned off, and then turned on my Apple Watch. I have restarted my internet. I have checked and the app and my watchos is up to date. I do think that this issues will be fixed on the version 2 of this app but there is very little announcements for that version. If there is I have been unable to find them. It would be nice if the app would give you a pop up that shows the progress made with the second version. I get that developing and maintaining an app like this is difficult but I think this feedback should help the developer.

Thank you soooo much, Hugo Mason, for bringing back this best Apple Watch app ever! Ever since it was “pulled” from Apple Watch I have been checking back every couple of weeks to see if the developer brought it back. I felt I had lost a good friend when The app no longer functioned. Very sad! As an Apple Watch junkie, I have a very strong interest in seeing how many platforms I can find to run on Apple Watch. You can possibly understand how much I enjoy playing, listening to videos/ music, following ham radio developments, international language programs, etc.. nearly everything fright from the Apple Watch. Having this app available again today just really made my day! It runs so smoothly with an excellent voice search engine and past history storage. Please never remove this wonderful app ever again! Kudos to Hugo Mason! Thank you…thank you.

Update: crashing has mostly stopped bar the occasional one, it’s running much smoother on the whole Shame I only got to enjoy this for an hour or so before the servers were taken offline, hope it comes back soon. It works, or worked, but has now started to crash every-time I try to load it up on my watch. Videos sometimes don’t load after being selected, and there’s a major issue when browsing videos on specific channels and it refuses to load in more videos as you scroll down past the first page. Playlists also don’t load at all, you select them and you’re taken to a new screen where you see the title of the playlist But not any of the videos. Hope these issue can be sorted, especially the last 2

UPDATE : I am extremely grateful for the response and guidance in making Watch Tube work flawlessly on my Apple Watch Ultra now ! Love this app ! I downloaded this app and it went to my old Apple Watch Series 4 that I do not use anymore. My intentions when downloading the app was to use this on my new apple watch Ultra . So I deleted it on the old watch . But……..The App Store says it was purchased and will not allow me to download it again to put it on my new watch . I’m frustrated and would like help to fix this ?!Please and thank you . I will do another review when I have the opportunity to actually use the app!

UPDATE: It works!! I have to admit it was strange to see that nothing happened when I downloaded the app but of course it was because it’s actually not on the phone but on the Watch. So after reading other reviews I went back to my Apple Watch apps to have a second look and found it. It works perfectly! If anything I had to unmute my Watch, (very easily from the Watch App on my phone showing as “Silent Mode”) and once I did that it worked perfectly. Great job guys! Keep up the good work! When I downloaded the app instead of the Open button it displayed a Purchased text and wouldn’t let me click on it or do anything. I don’t find the app anywhere in my phone. So all I know is I authorized something on my phone but I see nothing about it. I will change this review once I get instructions on how to make this work.

So I downloaded watch tube when I first got my watch and I loved it. But I didn’t charge or wear my watch for about 2 weeks. After i charged it, the app was gone. I went to the App Store on my watch and it said I already downloaded it. I checked again and it said “due to restrictions set for this device,this app cannot be downloaded” I don’t remember setting any restrictions. I don’t know how to fix this

I didn’t think it was possible, but here we are. The app functions seamlessly and is able to allow you to watch your favorite Youtubers on your watch. I don’t know how well it works on cellular Apple watches. But it works just fine on my Apple Watch Series SE with GPS only. It’s a amazing app that I thought I would never see. NO AUDIO FIX: Swipe up on your Apple Watch to pull up the control center and tap the bell icon to turn off silence mode on your Apple Watch.

According to the App Store, I’ve already downloaded this. But it’s not on my phone or my watch. When I tap on the support link it takes me to a web site where I can download a chat app. I wish there were a way to get help. Update: Thanks to help from tech support it’s now working beautifully. I love being able to watch videos on my watch. (I needed to find it in the App Store on my watch and download it from there.

Hoping this feedback reaches the developer. For some reason, this app is not on my watch or my phone anymore. When I try to get it in the App Store, it says “Purchased” but that is greyed out. Going to the developer’s website for support simply offers an FAQ, and this is not a commonly asked question. What’s going on? All my iOS requirements are met to be able to run the app. Please advise. Thank you.

I can search any video/channel that I normally watch and after a little bit of loading time have no problem viewing a video. The creator makes updates that you will see pop up when you first load in, that they are making adjustments to make our experience better. Definitely recommend this app !

Grate app! Love being able to access videos of all sorts anywhere. The note in the app said you were not able to update it anymore, which is fine with me but what I’m wondering is why it’s been taken completely offline. The app has come so far and wouldn’t need that much attention any more, so why not just leave the current version on line?

This is one of the best watch apps out there because you can watch, and usually play music but… for the recent update on the Apple Watch I sadly can’t. The play button to turn on a video usually works but, the play button for a music video is a red load button( don’t work). If you see this developer I would love for this to work for music, so I can play it😢

I some how got this app working on a Apple Watch series 2 and the app says it needs watch os 8+ but it downloaded and installed fine on a Apple Watch sariers 2 and it works perfectly with one small problem tho the watch will crash after 16 videos but other then that it works fine and doesn’t over heat or anything so is mine just special lol

Does a fantastic job making the most of the hardware. But I can’t view content for more than a few minutes without arm fatigue / wrist discomfort. Hence, requesting Landscape Mode feature. I could place the watch on my desk for more comfortable extended viewing; the watch band becomes a natural stand; the aspect ratio of the screen more closely matches 16:9 content.

Alright, so the very first thing I did was play a music video and to my surprise the music played through the Apple Watch speaker. That alone deserve 10 stars. Thank you developers for this app, I wish there was a way to donate money to your team, the one app I would pay for..!!

i have the apple watch series 9, this app used to work perfectly, but now it just crashes when i try to play a video or pulls up a grey screen with the play button on the screen but doesnt work if i hit it pls fix EDIT: it now works and its better than before THANK YOU

My number one app just is slowing down please look intoit , was one of my favorite app , mostly the reason i buy the apple watch S9 , i got to injoy it for a good time until it completely crash , it was fast and amazing now it loads in beginning but fails to show video , hope it comes back soon !!? was good wile it lasted Tank you

I love WatchTube and it works great but just now whenever I put a video it would load and then show a red arrow that was in a circle and nothing would work if I clicked it, it would just appear again but that only happens to music playlists not other vlogs or other stuff

I’m seeing all of these reviews that are saying it immediately kicks them from the app but my app is completely fine I believe these reviews are why watch tube has been discontinued please bring it back I loved it. It was my favorite Apple Watch app.

Since last year it was running smoothly on my watch,but recently when I enter the app,it kicks me out from the app, I mean it automatically stops …what can I do now? I re installed it but didn’t worked,also I updated my watch to the recent version…plz help..!!!

Absolutely my favorite watchOS app by far! From listening to music while playing basketball or even while showering this app is so perfect! I love walking into a quiet room and playing music from my wrist confusing everyone and making them jealous all the same! Extremely great work!

Just wish we could sign in to get our library. I gave it five stars because I understand this is a feature on the roadmap. I fixed a problem with audio stuttering with AirPods, by simply rebooting the watch, and ensuring AirPods were set to use adaptive audio.

Great app performs well. 5 stars because it provides a viable solution while being easy to use Suggestions for the future if possible. Sign in to connect subscription accounts and an option for background audio only.

On my Apple Watch, for months now this app hasn’t worked at all. Whenever I try to click on a video, it keeps saying to refresh and then play video, but right after I click play video it goes to this blank loading screen where I can’t even watch it in the first place. I thought it was a bug and that I needed to update my Apple Watch, so I did. But then it still didn’t work. So in short, you can’t watch videos on it anymore.

I love this app a lot I can watch and subscribe to my favorite YouTubers and I can watch every video however some videos don’t load up and most of them are music videos and playlists could you please change that

This app is wonderful! I was looking everywhere for an app to watch videos on my watch, but no one ever thought of that. This app works really well and loading times are as seamless as a browser or iPhone app experience. 11/10.

Sometimes when you go on a channel and then you click on a video just will load forever. But if you search up that video it will work. Just a minor bug that is kind of annoying.

Would be willing to pay for this if it included audio. Without audio it’s a dud. Appreciate the follow up from Hugo. The challenge is that without support documentation I had to fish around to find out that audio only works through a headset, in other words WatchTube won’t play the audio through the built-in speakers. So I’ll revise this review to 1/2 dud but in the right track.

Every time I try to watch something, my watch just freezes and then it shuts off and restarts. I talked to Apple Support and I ran a diagnostics test and there were no hardware issues on my watch and they said it could be an issue with the app. Otherwise, great app and love the ability to watch videos on my watch ❤️✨

Thank you I’m glad you decided to still work on this. I get occasional long load wait times but that’s to be expected. Other than that. Thank you for the quick fix on bringing it back.

Imagine if someone took everything you whined about and made a beautiful cake out of all the solutions, then also removed your last excuse to not bring your phone around everywhere. That’s watchtube.

As you can guess from the title, my videos won’t load and have error messages but everything else will load in correctly. I’ve seen reviews about having the same problem I have but there isn’t any response to them helping or suggesting anything about the problem. If the creator can just respond to this or any other reviews like this it will help a bunch. Please don’t let this be a dud.

I used to use this app on my old Apple Watch and it worked fine, but after u downloaded it on my new one it won’t even play videos for some reason. I resented the watch because that’s the natural thing to do but that didn’t even work. Every time u try click on a video it just kicks me out of the app. I redownloaded ig multiple times. Please just fix this bug

I love this app. It’s more than half of the use on my Apple Watch, there are tiny bugs and it does crash, but that’s minuscule compared to how good this app is. I took this app for granted until the time it didn’t work for a day

I tried searching for certain channels since at the time they were streaming and they don’t seem to pop up anymore. Hoping this wasn’t a decision to get rid of those since they were useful if I was stuck in another part of my home and don’t have my phone or anything else on me.

The fact that you can stream with your watch is amazing now. Couldn’t ask for more thank you so much. If I could pick something to add that would be a rewind and fast forward option.

I thank the makers of WatchTube. Finally !!! But the search function is very slow at times and the UI needs a bit more work. Plus the loading time of the videos are slow. Making hard to really find videos you want to see. I giving it 3 stars. Well at least it works.

After the update it still works like a charm but some of the issues I’m having are that some of the channels I want to see, I kicks me right out of the app and sometimes it pauses so please fix that but otherwise it’s awesome.

This worked on my Apple Watch Ultra for about 1 month and now it won’t play any videos and just crashes every time I try to play a video. I’ve tried resetting my watch, redownloading the app and it still just keeps crashing every time I click on a video. HELP!!

I just bought WatchTube last week, and I liked it kn my Apple watch 6. But when I bought my new Apple Watch 10, it’s not on the watch, and I am not able to add it. It shows that I purchased it, but there’s no method to download it to the watch. I’ve looked at all the Support FAQs, and there’s nothing pertaining to this. I don’t know how to reach the developer. All of my other apps migrated seamlessly onto my new phone.

I was very skeptical about downloading this app and I can say one thing, it actually works like the quality is amazing on my series 9 and I’m so excited that I can actually watch videos. Thanks for this genius idea.!!!!!!!!

Latest iOS update won’t let me stay in the app just exits need help to correct other than that great app used it previously with little to no problems

At first I had watched a working video but when I came back the videos were trying to watch aren’t working please fix them so I can watch videos on my Apple Watch pls.

Usually, the app works just fine, but for the past few days whenever I try to play a video that contains some music, it doesn’t work. Just a few songs still work for me, but all the others don’t. Please fix this problem

I just got an Apple Watch a couple days ago and immediately went to try this app out it didn’t work at first but I didn’t have the newest update installed. Now whenever I try to watch videos it keeps pausing on its own every 5-10 seconds.

When I try to search something up on the app it says “URL failed to load This URL can be viewed on your iPhone” please let me know if you know how to fix this.

I just downloaded it yesterday and it’s not working the app lets me search things up and it appears but when I clicked on the video it is not letting me see the videos, it says “an error has occurred” I hope he sees this review and tries to fix it.

It’s good but one problem is that it takes a while to load videos, but anyway it’s perfect, get it when your phone less in the bathroom🤣
