WCJB TV20 News

I utilize the WCJB TV20 news app to view the 6:00 news from NC. I use an Apple TV 4K I own a townhouse in Gainesville and that is the only means I have to keep up what is going on in Gainesville and with the Gators. Recently a change was made to the app where there are now a number of windows where you can view different topics. I utilize the main window to see the news. Here is the problem, after the news is over there is no way to exit the app and go back to the Apple TV Home Screen. The only way I can get my Apple TV released from the app is to unplug the Apple TV. If there is a normal way to exit the app, I haven’t found it. Normally all I used to have to do is just keep pressing the Menu button on my Apple TV remote to get back to the Apple TV Home Screen . Will you please fix this or tell me where the exit button is to exit the app? I was gracious with three stars. It probably should have been two stars.

I see stories online from WCJB on other programs yet when I use the WCJB app directly, I can't find the article. I get an error message instead. I find this app to be lacking in everything. I'll get my local news from other means.

Always use news 20 app for my news source. keeps me up to day with all news in my area as well as what's trending in world news. i love this app because it's easy to use, navigation is easy. 5 starts from me! thank you all for all your hard work, so we can stay in the know!! 😊

I currently have two other news apps on my personal devices neither one of which has any where near the level of advertising as this very newsless excuse for a information platform that appears to be a source forTV 20 revenue through junk advertising . It insults the users intelligence,deleting this app as soon as this is posted . Your on air show is however much better by a long shot no junk hook and line advertising!

I have to watch 30 seconds of an ad even before getting a glimpse of the news. The app is really terrible

I used to love this app but lately I can’t read half the stories. The type is running into the ads. Fix it please

I keep getting kicked off the news app and won’t let me in.

When you open the app, ads immediately appear with loud, annoying volume setting. Should be a way to turn this off in the settings. WCJB is getting as bad as the Gainesville Sun app with their semantics.

Hasn’t worked in months on phone or iPad. Please update otherwise I have to use Facebook to read stories.

Are you EVER going to fix your app?! The “no internet connection” thing is really annoying. Yes my phone has internet and, yes it’s connected! EVERY OTHER APP ON MY PHONE WORKS FINE! Please! Fix your app!

Your app has too many adds especially when opening to read a story and get blasted by Trump adds. Get some class and put stories first

With the latest update, the keeps on clicking me off the app. I’m using an IOS.
