My first order arrived on time! I was worrying about the delivery because of the heavy rain and the traffic on Sunday evening. The App is pretty easy to use for me, the only thing could be nicer is the slots, I hope more slots available for NY area.
The newest version is not as convenient as the old version when I first tried it 3-4 months ago. It’s completely not convenient and easy to navigate. 1. The sold out items are not necessarily showing in the item available list, or at least not suppose to be in the middle of them. 2. Every category should have an “all” option so that we don’t have do click 10 times to go through all different kinds. For example when I’m interested in knowing what fruits you have available, I would like to have a option to see all you have in stored instead clicking apple, orange .... 3. The app used to have a “ Deal/Weekly deal” category on the home page, and now this feature is gone. If we wondering is there any deal/ promotions for the week, we should be able to know without going through every single click for the whole app.
Until this is fixed, I will NOT order from 99 Ranch again!!!!! Am I the only one having this problem? The buttons are all the way on the top of the screen, it’s almost impossible to click them!!!! If you have another app open, the other app would have been opened several times before you are able to use the back button, or search function on this app. I endured these for closed to a year if not longer since the app download. The Developement team that still have not fix the problem, is either incompetent or don’t care enough! Either way, when you waste your users time like this due to design flaws, you should be fired and never work in IT. Until this is fixed, I will NOT order from 99 Ranch again!
I’m not sure why a phone # has to be provided to create a new account. Why can’t we use an email account to sign up instead. I’ve been having trouble logging in using my Google phone number. It worked fine before but not any more after one of the app updates. It says the phone number can’t accept messages but it can. I tried to call the customer service several times per the instructions from the app. They don’t answer the calls most of the time and the one time I got through, I was routed to another team but no one picked up. I left a message this morning but still haven’t heard back from them so far.
I placed an order using their app for delivery. Due to their own system error, 99 ranch cancelled my order arbitrarily and told me that they would refund. I waited for 2 weeks, didn’t get a refund. Had to call them numerous times to get a hold of someone that could actually issue a refund. But that was not the end of the story, because the refund amount was incorrect. So I had to call them again, and this time no one even got back to me! It was funny that every time I called, they only took my message and told me someone would call me back, but whether that would happen or not is totally up to them! They honestly don’t care about this app/online order portal… Such a waste of time. I’m uninstalling
Lots of Asian grocery products and some discounts are really nice, even better than I visit nearby stores. I love to use the App to search good deals and surprised the same day delivery services. That save me more time to prepare the dinner at home. The App still has something to improve, but I can see changes step by step. Hope adding more variety products and will continually follow up the coming deals. I will recommended to my friends for shopping.
Ever since the app went through a major update recently, there have been so many items listed as sold out. Basic standard meat and vegetables are sold out. It’s not just 1-2 items. It’s a majority of the meats and a lot of vegetables. I didn’t bother to look at other categories when the basic items are pretty much sold out. This is not the pandemic so why is it showing sold out? They really need to update their data.
app can’t use in store and they give coupon just for online
today i go to ranch to buy something they have options if you register to the app you have $20 off when your purchase $35. i sign in the app and got it but when i ask they said just onl !! so why they give the coupon but can’t using at store. then im say ok they tell them you scan my membership ID but the cashier keep say onl not in store , and i ask customers server and he say the scan just have for some location , location on La. im stay on SJ . why you have the app but you can’t using? how you can keep the point?
This app is not like other Supermarkets app can do screen membership card. In their store issued the card member but the card work separately with the app . Not like other store. Also the app is great only for ordering for delivery or shipping only. Is not great and not recommend use in the store, probably the creator of this app never know or use other supermarkets app when shopping. So very low knowledge for the app , hopefully the creator of the app read my comments and they change the system, but I don’t think they want read all comments
Don't bother leaving the number of the actual recipient when placing an order, because this joke of an app won't recognize it. Instead, they'll just hand over your registered number to the driver, no matter how different they are. What's the point of even having an option to input a different number if you're just going to ignore it? And customer service would even tell you that they believe no platforms having this obviously basic functions, ridiculous
There used to be a mandatory tip issue when I was paying on the app, where you can only pick $1, $2, or $3. You can’t even customize it because the button didn’t work. It took 99 ranch market a couple of months to fix some bugs, and now there are new ones as the company implements a coupon that cannot even be used on orders. Can y’all test all the buttons before releasing updates?
It honestly saves me so much time, they offer a free delivery service on order above 49 dollars i believe. I go over this amount every time so delivery fee is never a issue! There’s often very good promotions making it cheaper than the actual store. App is easy to use as well😊
Shopped several times using the app. However the inventory often not up-to-date or incorrect. items are sold out, or not available, still showing available in the App. 5 out of 10 items were not available for my today’s order. I ordered a box of Hawaiian papaya twice, both ended up unavailable.
Although I enjoy shopping in-store (it’s a family) tradition, when I am busy, this app is truly a life saver! I can browser and place an order at work and when I got home viola everything is ready for me!
No way you could find other Asian online grocery shopping store that do exactly this! Tried delivery and in store pick up, smooth and convenient! Highly recommended!

Horrible update - shuts out existing many customers
Notice all of the reviews with just one line and five stars? Highly suspicious for a terrible update. You can try to hide the negative reviews, but when the sales start falling, 99 Ranch management will realize: Online integration with existing store rewards is a complete mess, many long-time customers that I know still can’t log in because they created their rewards accounts physically at the store with non-mobile phones years ago. So when the developers of the app restricted logins to strictly mobile phones, loyal customers of the store and earlier app are now completely shut out. Please fix this.
You don’t want to order online/ via app. When 99 Ranches messed up the order, I couldn’t do a store walk in to return or exchange. Called the customer services, they gave a really bad attitude and unclear instruction or how to apply for return or exchange. The customers need to file a return application in the app and wait for them to process the application, but it takes 99 more than a week to process the application. Tried to call, but it’s very hard to reach the online order customer services department. Tried to email, and they aren’t responding at all. Save you some trouble, just shop in store.
This app is incredibly buggy. On iPhone 14, you cannot navigate back once you have gone into any of the settings or any other part of the app, because the top navigation is blocked by the phone’s own navigation. This means the only way to go back and navigate to other parts of the app is by force quitting the app and reopening it.
I once used this application to buy instant noodles when the card payment for shipping costs couldn't be used, and I replaced it with a credit card but it still didn't work. In the end I didn't shop. but it didn't take long, maybe a few days my credit card was hacked and luckily there was no balance
When website offers nothing but a lead to this app which also leads to nothing but online shopping. I don’t like to do grocery shopping online because it is more expensive, packaged too much amount, and less fresh. I want to find a weekly ad for the store and it can’t be found anywhere now
Good to know my fav Asian supermarket provide delivery service. It does save my time and sometimes offers special promos on the app so I get better deals than other supermarkets!
There should be an option for allowing substitute items if inventory runs out. I am tired of getting a notification that the item ordered is not available.
Overall I like this app and the service. Some minor bugs, but that’s acceptable to me. Save me tons of time on grocery shopping. I mean, FREE same day delivery + lots of discount? Yes, please!!!!! 👌
I had no problem using this app before but today I tried to log in with my phone number it just won't let me. I try reboot my phone. not working. get a new account . still want me to use phone number. wth why they don't let people just buy things. very upset.
This app really needs work. I can’t login using my email address, or my google account. Reset the password and it says unknown user and password when trying to login. No way to get into my account!

Before shoppers complained we can’t even make the ad pages work weekly, now we r mocked by we took down the website and force ppl to get the app. Mirror mirror, how can I be weee? “R u stupid?!!!! The top menu and search are up in the iPhone’s menu bar with clock, camera, battery, etc. When I search for an item, I can’t go back to the main screen, and have to close/reopen the app.
Exact same issue as noted in the previous user review. Now can’t get into my account (existing password no longer works “due to system reset”, but the system won’t take my phone number for password reset) :( please fix asap…
I’m not sure when I signed up at the store with my number & email got linked to the app or in store because I can’t see my points. I still love the store but I also want my points to save every now & then
The website is poorly made. I found that my user account is locked after the first time purchase and they didn’t provide a way to unlock it. I can’t register for another account either, because the phone munger is already taken.
Superrrrrrrrr slow!!!!!!!!!!!!! I spent 1 hour to add items on cart. then go to check out. Spent half an hour to add coupon, still not work . I quit the app and re-enter, my coupon is gone!!!!!!!! 0 coupon !!!!!! But I didn't place an order successfully last time! It wasted me almost 2 hours!
I have been looking everywhere to find weekly ad in PDF from the app. I can’t even use the website either. It automatically takes me to the mobile version. Need to fix the problem. I deleted the app!
Downloaded the app because I saw a sign for it in my local store, which isn’t even listed as an actual location. Can’t order for pickup or delivery, can’t see what’s in stock. Not sure what the point of me having the app is.
Ordered through online app for same day service. Did not get it until next day. Many items were missing. No response from customer service and still waiting for a refund !!
Store is playing little trick! Like when you buy honey bbq pork, the weight is included the tray and sauce. Other store general only weigh the meat what you buy and set zero when the tray is on the scale. On 99 ranch, you have to pay more than $1 for it. Don’t like the store play this kind of trick to customers.
Both when I got the app and then when I updated the app, the new Westwood location was not an option to select! I love the new location and am hesitant to use the app
This app is extremely dysfunctional; the buttons don’t work, I can’t view the weekly ad, and it crashes unpredictably. Not to mention, they market it as having lots of “deals and coupons” but when I go in there’s none to clip.
Worst app I have seen from those online shopping apps category. It is extremely slow. It does not react when user accesses to different pages or thru the icons. It does not even show the weekly ads.
Weeks ago, I was able to use the mobile web view to check the weekly ad, but now, they are promoting this app, so that I have to download this app, and this app doesn’t contain any weekly ad! Such a bad user experience!
Downloaded the app today just to try out delivery option but it keeps loading whenever I add any new item. Ended up have to drive all the way to the market. Disappointed, I would not recommend this app.
